Found a live cockroach crawling on the shoulder of the chair that I was sitting at the time. I killed the cockroach and showed it to the staff. Nothing further was done or said about my concerns over the experience.

Room was disgusting bathroom smelled of cigarettes carpet wasn’t vacuumed bathroom had a hunk of gum stuck to the floor the door of the bathroom inside looked like someone hacked on it and the room didn’t even have a number on it. We tried to take a shower the shower valve didn’t work and no water pressure at all TOTALLY DISGUSTING. Will not be staying there again and tell people not to stay there

I chose this motel because I was travelling with my dog. My expectations were low. The price per night was also low. I was charged $25 extra for my dog.
Pros: low cost, comfortable bed, full bath, parking outside room, right on highway to Toronto. Staff always available and helpful. Good WiFi.
Cons: area felt unsafe. Left my vehicle parked near main entrance because parking by the room backdoor looked sketchy. Also, backdoor only opens from the inside so there’s no way to use it to unload your vehicle or walk your dog, for example, unless you have another person in the room or you block it open at your own risk. The whole place, inside and outside the rooms needs a renovation. Everything looks shabby. The tub is scrubbed raw of all its enamel surface. The shower diverter didn’t work in my room, so the shower head produced a mere trickle. The TV was only as large as a large computer monitor and offered only basic channels. Not all the electrical outlets were functional in my room.
I would recommend for the price but only if you need a place to sleep for the night and have low needs.

You get what you pay for. Budget accomodation while on a solo trip. The place was not the cleanest I've seen. The adjoining restaurant looked decent. I went to watch the Blue Jays World Series game 2. A loud heavy metal band was playing, and insisted on playing through the game. I left to go watch somewhere else.

Using the app, i requested a pet friendly unit on the main floor as we have a pet.
Upon arrival was advised, i picked a room up top. Paid the diffference and moved to room 120. What a mistake that was. Found cockroaches. Contacted the desk, all they said was they had a problem and are addressing it. Did not offer another room, didnt off to give our money back to go else. I spent that night awake watching for bugs...so gross

If all you want is bed and don’t mind the smell then this is the place for you. The restaurant was good.
There is no elevator. Expedia give no refunds.

Worst hotel i ever went . I called to request ground floor and was confirmed over phone and did not happen. It s dirty everwhere room, cigarette butch in corridor and garbage . Smell of weed everywhere that woke me up. People tailgaiting outside is beyond dirty. Homeless people roaming around. Staff rude and as no interest in customerbservice . We scheduled room as u need to advise them that never happen. They just don t care.

The building needs upgrades but was otherwise safe. I was concerned about the cleanliness as the floors were not swept and the carpets were not vacuumed but the beds were changed and clean towels were provided. We did find stuff on the floor in our room like hair elastics and candy wrappers.

Horrible Experience at the Roadway

There were no food options, the sheets on the bed were stained and there was no hair dryer. The floor in the bathroom and the bathtub were all marked up and the toilet hat yellow stains. We could not even shower. There was a funky smell in the room as well so much so neither I nor my daughter could sleep. The air conditioning also mDe loud sounds throughout the night.

1 bed was ok, other I could feel the springs. Bathroom was dirty and needs a whole overhaul. Mold around bathtub, toilet seal moldy and toilet rocking. Corners were not cleaned. I doubt the bed and nightstand moved in years to vacuum behind. 1 outlet didn’t work for sleep apnea machine and other outlet was melted.
Garbage and medication cups spewed around outside the room - still there on 3rd day
Handprints on all the lobby windows and doors as well as other entrance doors to the facility not cleaned. Paper parking picket still in the hall 3 days later no vacuuming done.

The room wasnt clean. Rhere was mold in the bathroom. The walls int he room and the windows were dirty.The carpets were not vacuumed. Neither the fridge nor the keurig was cleaned. No microwave in the room even though each room is advertised to have one. Have to go to the main lobby if you wish to use one.No iron in the room despite there being an ironing board.
For the money paid for this room is wae way below expectations. Rooms need to be inspected more by management to ensure the cleaning staff are up to par or hire new staff that take pride in their work. Would not recommend to anyone to stay here especially at the rates being charged!

Complete crap!!!

Toilet was plugged, we were changed room, we were downgraded, we paid for 2 queen beds and down sized to 2 doubles and told they were not going to charge us. Why should they, if anything, we should have gotten a refund. I marked on our reservation no feather pillows due to severe allergies, feathered pillows, called them to inform that we needed different pillows and told that's all they had. Amenities are crap, apparently they have microwaves and blow dryers in the rooms: nope. The rooms are completely filthy and alot of damage. In our first room for 3 adults, only 2 towels, a 5ml bottle of shampoo....for 3 people...same in the second room. I would give a negative rating if i can because even a zero star would be too generous.

Disappointed.

Very disappointed with our room. It was so late when we rolled into town and checked in, otherwise I would have went elsewhere. I had booked ahead online, and wished I hadn`t.
The room smelled terrible, there was stains on the wall near the bed and in the washroom that could easily be wiped off, mold on the caulking in the bathtub and carpets are due for a major upgrade.
Do not recommend, especially with children.

Checked in just after 8pm. We had to request a different room then what we were originally given seeing the room next door had a long term tenant who has a big picnic table and BBQ in front of our room. Went to the second room that was assigned. Their are stains on the walls, the entire toilet moves and worst of all the room is infested with roaches. It was so gross we had to call around the city and pay for another room at a different property. We checked out around 1130pm once another room was secured. I would suggest never staying in this motel.

First night we were in a queen room. We then booked a 4 night stay and were told wed have to move rooms to a 2double bed room which i was ok with. However upon moving all our stuff we decided to have a coffee and went to setup the provided keurig , which when we opened the k cup compartment , we found 6 cockroaches in the keurig machine. We continued to see cockroaches after that and called to complain. She moved us over 2 rooms down the hall ( no surprise we continued to see the cockroaches repeatedly ). I mentioned rhat it was unacceptable and that i would want my electronics replaced as i had brought my gaming systems with me and informed her that cockroaches enjoy warm places and i did not want to bring their little companions back to infest my home with. She insisted that would and could never happen they obviously made home in the coffee maker. I proceeded to i form her of the nature and breeding habits of these invasive buggers but she was having none of it Informed me room change was all that could be done. I insisted the manager call me in the am when he came in to further discuss this disturbing event and to make sure i did not carry any of these hitchikeng invading army of roaches home with me
Never heard from the manager, not once in the 4 days did they ask if we wanted housekeeping or clean towels and never heard back from the manager. So my advice, the price is cheap but what comes withat that savings and was it worth it. All in all i would rate it -10.

Check in was pleasant. Went to the room and immediately was hit with a cold draft. Went to open the door that lead outside and was met with an even colder draft. The wall unit that was in the wall was letting in cold air. Went to turn the heat on, figured I’d need to let it kick in. Unpacked my car, still no signs of being warm. Called front desk and they didnt do anything. The heat register was in the bathroom where it wasn’t even making the bathroom warm. Asked them for a new room. Fully booked up so couldn’t move us. Brought us extra blankets.

We needed to purchase an electric heater for the 2nd night. It was unbearable. We’ve stayed here before and have had no issues. Will not be staying there again.
