Nice hotel, the attached pub has good food. Pool was nice. Rooms were basic, but OK for the price. Check-in was a bit painful, even though I had already paid I needed a physical credit card to check in.

The bar closed at 10 the ceiling was falling apart in the room we were booked two adults and two children and only had 2 towels in the room no breakfast but the restaurant that opens at 7 seemed to be ok and prices were reasonable

I called at least 4 times to get a room rate for 10 rooms. The frontdesk said she would check with the manager and call back. Four times she never did so you lost the bookings. These bookings were attached to a venue in Sudbury that used to reccomend your hotel. They no longer do. The room was filthy with head oil stains on the headboard and the carpet smelled like dirty feet. The bed blanket was all freyed a nd looked like it was a king cut in half. The room chair had a huge stain on it as did the rug. We had asked for a room close to the elevater as my sister is disabled and she sent us to the last room at the end of the hall. We had to be .moved.when leaving the hotel there was a small lip on the walkway which is not up to code and my sister fell and broke her ankle. Needless to say we were not thrilled with your accommodation. We will decide if any further action will be taken from our lawyer s.

Ok hotel. No hair dryer in the room. Called front desk and they don’t have any either. Very frustrating when you already have wet hair. The remote would not turn on the tv either. The bathtub looked dirty and could’ve used a good scrub.

Overall good property.. the rooms shower had leak on roof.. and we picked this hotel because of the restaurant when checking in no one told us it was closed ever after talking to the front desk about going to the restaurant... it was disappointing.

Staff were friendly, but the rest of the experience fell short. The pool area was in rough shape, and the room barely had the basics.. one example: just two pillows and minimal bedding, with no extras available from front desk. Everything felt cheap and poorly maintained. The toilet paper holder was crooked, the tub caulking looked badly done, and the TV was extremely small….

Tell the guests that it takes 30 minutes to warm up the sauna before we read the sign beside the sauna. Warm up the pool and surrounding air temperature.
Restaurant was nice, good food.
There was a loud tv beside my room so i was moved no problem.

Rooms are getting a little run down. Price was right but not sure we would stay here again. Place seemed empty but we still had someone right beside us who had their TV blaring all night. Tried to call the front desk only to realize we had no phone in the room to call from. Very odd.

Our first night was not great. There was an issue with the heating unit which kept us awake. We notified the front desk the next morning and they were very helpful. As we were going out for the day, they moved us to a new, upgrade room.
The hotel staff were courteous and friendly.
The restaurant is on site, the food is good and pricing is reasonable. Overall - we'd stay again :)

lack of upkeep on the room. after the first day when we came back from an outing and the room wasn't made up, we requested new towels and fresh coffee for the next day and none were provided. the room did not get remade until the day before we were set to leave and we were at this location for 4 nights

The bed was clean and comfortable. The hotel pool was at about 60-65 degrees - like a cold plunge pool temperature. You could not swim in it. The sauna took more than an hour to “heat” up but you could not expect to get a sweat on in it. The top bench is so narrow that is is hard to be comfortable on it. The restaurant within the hotel was closed for the entire weekend - we had not been notified prior to our stay that there would be no food available on site. And we were not informed that the pool was basically unusable either. When we brought our concerns to the hotel desk they just said they would let management know. We really feel that a discount should have been offered - we booked that hotel for the pool/sauna and on-site restaurant.

Best gym if any hotel we stayed at and it’s open 24/7. Saved paying to go to a local gym. They had lots of equipment and was well maintained. Also have a sauna and pool. Very reasonably priced. We will stay there from now on when in town.

The bedding in the room had seen better days. There were holes in the duvet and the sheets were very thin. The heating was very noisy so I had to turn it off. There was no easy and safe entrance to the hotel with icy conditions outside.
The staff was most pleasant.

We stayed here because the pictures looked good. Unfortunately when we got into our room there was a hair clip on lamp shade and hair on toilet seat. Then my husband and 3 year old daughter went swimming and had no idea you had to take your room towels, so they froze on way back to room. Also there were no clean towels available and we were told that W could call down in morning. So we did and only received towels about 30 minutes before we had to check out. For the place, it was extremely disappointing.

Our stay was pleasant. The beds were really comfortable. Our room was great. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the fact that the pool was chilly.. The shallow end was still to deep for our daughter who is just learning to swim. The sauna wasnt hot at all. i don't think it was on. I was looking forward to enjoying it.

I booked a Standard Room with King Size bed - when I got to my room (216) I was instantly blown away by how dingy and out dated the room was and then I noticed it was a Queen Size bed.
I went down to the front desk and informed the person working the front desk and they then argued with me saying it was a King Size bed.
I had a friend staying at the hotel and they were on the 5th floor, they booked the same thing as me Standard - King Size bed - I went to their room to confirm that their bed was a king and mine was in fact a queen.

After doing this I went to the front desk and told the person working that it was in fact a queen size bed and there was no arguing this.
They then “texted” their boss and made me wait a good 20 minutes standing at the front desk until they decided to call their boss.
They went to a back room and returned minutes later claiming that the entire hotel was booked and they had no King Size rooms available. They then told me that on “their behalf” that they could offer me a 15% discount - I stated I wasn’t happy with that but apparently that was a “take it or leave it” offer, I had no choice.

After this, I returned back to my room to find that the latch for the door lock was completely missing from the door and there was no way for me to lock the top of my door.
The bedding was torn and ripped as if something had chewed it.
The bathtub was dirty and I could go on and on…

Overall I’m disgusted in the service and the cleanliness.

Room was overall clean, but the hall way stunk. There was no hot water. After calling the front desk they said they did a reset on the hot water and to wait 5 minutes and try again. After waiting over an hour and it just to say warmed up so i could shower down quickly. Just wanted a nice shower after driving all day.

No hot water in the showers. The sink was clogged. Asked for extra sheets and they didn’t have any. Wouldn't restock the coffee or creamer and we were there for 3 nights. Mold in the showers. Every floor smelled like weed. Also right next to tent city and lots of homeless wandering around the parking lot

The stay was OK but there was one big problem. The heater fan made so much noise that I couldn't sleep. Their maintenance person tried for almost an hour I would say to repair the unit but to no avail. He did agree that it was far too noisy. The unit should be replaced with a new one. As a result I requested a discount of at least $50 for my stay, and thinking higher. Hotel staff said I need to email Expedia, and get that approved by you so please respond to me via email. The after sales customer policy is anooying! I booked through expedia and made a cancellation a day before the travel date due to recent unfortunate massive snow storm in northern Ontario that led to closure of highways leading to the hotel location. Despite the valid (force majeur) request through expedia, the hotel manager did not approved the refund request. I will never do business with the hotel again.

Ok Stay for the price.

Well lit parking lot. Staff was good Heater in room did not work properly wouldn’t stay on mentioned it to front desk and she gave us a couple of warmer blankets which definitely helped. Hotel could use updating window cleaning and the bathroom in the room that I had definitely needs it. Had to be careful with the over the toilet cabinet so you didn’t hit your head. Overall for the price and location you get what you pay for. Will I stay at this hotel probably not.

Staff and property were fantastic, unfortunately our issue we faced was with the homeless community that had a tent city built within 100ft of the parking. Most homeless encampments are associated with a lot of theft due to the nature of what they do/don’t have access to. You have the addicts and homeless walking through the parking lot constantly. A fence and lift gate with someone doing “security” would be a great job creation.

There are many reviews about safety but this is not accurate. The place is safe. Parking is safe. They let me park my bike near the entrance. The lady at the reception was very kind and accommodating.

It is downtown. Nothing out of the ordinary.
