I regret booking this place. If you can afford better, I would avoid. We booked the junior suite for more space, but didn't really want to hang out in the room. Dingy room, lumpy bed with yellowed pillowcases, harsh lighting, holes in the wall, wires dangling from the TV, and noisy - we were woken up in the middle of the night on several occasions.

We had issues with parking, and couldn’t get out of the parking lot as we were blocked in. We sat in the lobby for well over an hour, until the car beside us left, and we could then leave. This wasn’t dealt with properly.

Yes overall it was nice to be on the first floor with my dog. The sliding doors made it beautiful to get in and out to let her go to the washroom and get to my car if I needed to. It's a great pet friendly hotel. Which are hard to come by. The menu was large and easy to go pick up the food from the restaurant. You also get a discount if you order room service. Which is a bonus!

Had \"drive up room\"- our door was blocked by another car and a snowbank. The door was a sliding patio door, with a dicey cement step in front of it. Can't lock door from the outside, so you have to still walk through hotel to get to your car. Do not recommend.
The room was clean, coffee tea were available. Beds very comfy. Toilet had a loose base and was rocky! Fan in bathroom started with a loud squeal, then was quiet-not the greatest for the midnight bathroom run!

Didn't have breakfast there. Parking was crowded at dinner time because of the restaurant. But we finally found a spot out front.

The beds were NOT COMFORTABLE. Absolutely NO support whatsoever, we both slept very little and I had a medical procedure at HSN that morning. I have stayed there a few times before and have always gotten a 2 Queen bed room and the beds were always firm and comfortable. The back of the bathroom door was also chipped along the bottom, headboards were crooked, the cable tv box was held up by a stack of paper cups. Just not what I had gotten before and very noticeable, if we were staying longer I would have requested another room.

We were greeted upon our arrival. Even tho it says 3pm, we were able to go in at 2:30. Room was clean but lots of big “ink” stains on carpet and floor in bathroom was full of hair
Parking was a little tricky since the big snow storm but we managed. Breakfast is always a hit.

Stayed here before was never as bad as this pool area was very unclean cloudy and door area very dirty false eye lashes on floor garbage we made children shower after being in it but would not allow them back .
Children running up down hallway you can here it clear on top of our room and knocking on peoples door s at midnight control needed to be put in place . Will think again before I stay here another time very dissapointed

My stay was good, but one staff was not. I had a question after my stay so I called the main desk. Unfortunately the lady did not understand what I was talking about. Instead of saying, sorry I don't understand what your saying, let me transfer you to someone who can, she hung up on me. Keeping in mind I was polite and repeated my question 3 times. I get not everyone understands everyone, so no big deal, transfer me to someone who can. I called back and asked for a manager. She transfered me to a managers voicemail. I left my name, number, asked that he contact me back. It's been 3 days so far and I have not been contacted. Disappointed in the staff. It takes two seconds to pick up a phone and call a guest back.

The stay was disappointing overall. The listing on Expedia indicated that a complimentary continental breakfast was included, but this amenity was not actually provided.

Additionally, the hair dryer in our room was broken, which was inconvenient.

To make matters worse, another guest frequently parked in front of our drive-up room for most of our stay, defeating the purpose and convenience of booking a drive up room

Pool water felt thick 😞 . It was disgusting. Fire alarm went off at 1am . No explanation as to why. Cleanliness of the room was ok . But coffee stains were still on the table . Staff was excellent and very nice . There was not enough parking for all vehicles staying at the hotel

This property was run down - the cleanliness of the hotel was very sub standard - the room we were given had an unpleasant odour - perhaps it was a room spray or cheap cleaning chemicals - the shower curtain smelled when it got wet cracks in the bathroom drywall - black stains on the grout in washroom - the room had vinyl floor which one would think would be easier to clean however there was dirt and garbage under the bed - there were marks on the walls - the pillow cases were a dingy yellow grey colour mixed in with a newer white one - which made it stand out even more - there was hair stuck in the coffee maker - most likely from a cloth being wiped over it - I am not normally one to review a property but found this to be a very unkept hotel - arrived around 215 ( check in was 3 I was told I would have to wait untill 230 room not ready - understandably - however once 230 hit I was told - room was ready - when getting to room there were no cleaners to be found anywhere on floor? I think they just did this because there is a fee for early check in’s - the staff at front desk didn’t talk to me, instead talked to each other in a language I didn’t understand - the pool area was dirty and the water was a cloudy colour - the size of the pool was perfect - having both a shallow and a deep end - this hotel is located in a prime area in Sudbury close to many popular attractions - my daughter said she stayed here last year and had a upper level room that perhaps recently renovated

We chose this property for its proximity to Science North and its pool for a family trip to Sudbury. The location was great for this. The pool however was pretty basic and a little sketchy if I’m honest. The kids loved it, but the water was so cloudy you couldn’t see your waist. The pool area was a bit dirty, and in disrepair, and the water was COLD. Our room was clean and the bathroom etc in good shape, and functioned fine. Heads up though, I’m not sure there’s any soundproofing… we heard kids running in hallways, TVs, people talking etc all night long. We just turned up our white noise machines, but if you’re sensitive to noise, wouldn’t recommend. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Perkins restaurant was great- good food and excellent service.
Our stay was *fine, but I’d probably look for something different for next stay.

There was such limited on site parking available that we spent at least half an hour every night driving around trying to figure it out. And when we asked the clerk in the lobby where we were supposed to park he said “anywhere, you don’t have to worry about getting a ticket” and when we let him know there was NO parking spots he didn’t have any other suggestions for us.

The carpeting in the halls and stairs was heavily soiled and smelled horrible. When we walked into the room it smelled horrible. The fan in the bathroom sounded like a jet plane taking off and didn’t actually work, making some loud banging noises. There was water marks and stains running down the walls from all the humidity in the bathroom. There was no Kleenex or conditioner, and the two small shower towels they had were dirty. The drain didn’t work in the bathtub, so when you had a shower you were standing in water up to your ankles. The stair wells and hallways wreaked of cigarette and marijuana smoke, as did the room next to our non-smoking room. We chose a non-smoking room because our son has medical and breathing issues.

Our family staying in another room that they had booked for four people only had two small shower towels. So when they went to the lobby to ask for more towels the clerk threw some towels onto the dirty check in counter for them.. not okay!

The main problem was the kids hockey team (North Bay Trappers) who stayed there for a tournament. Kids were running up and down the hallways, slamming doors, generally being nuisances past midnight. The staff spent most of the night going to ask the parents to get their kids under control, to no avail.

You couldn't see the bottom of the pool when you went swimming and I kept getting hair clumps in my hand. The smoke detector went off in the middle of the night which made four very scary stay we just packed up and went home they gave us a full refund which was nice breakfast was great.

They dont have hot.tub the rooms have damage like one room the drawers wont stay closed air conditioner/heat was so loud you cant sleep one room you could only shower as the spout you can push to have tub not many plug out lets door you have to make sure closed as it didnt close fully beds are hard and slide on floor they dont allow cots in room fire alarm went off at 1 am because of a water leak in a room worst stay but you get what you pay for some blackets had stains as well as towels the pillows were yellowish cases not white they supply the smallest shampoo but no conditioner as well will never stay again and its a 150 dollar deposit

We asked for a refund and were told we’d have to wait until morning to speak to the manger. TV was broken, shower didn’t drain. Awful experience worst customer service. No parking.

The hotel is older and shows its age in the rooms, the room is functional but some leaks and toilet not flushing properly.
They bed is older and sinking in middle and pillows are well lets say they are pillows .

Its a cheap hotel so you get what you pay for and the rooms are clean but old smelling and feeling.
If you want a 5 star hotel room dont stay you will not be happy and leave a bad review.

If you want a cheap place to spend the night or weekend its a place to stay

The tub was horrible it took 1 hour to drain after having a shower, the staff were rude as if we were interrupting them from something that was more important/interesting then serving the customer. The noise was unbearable from the other customers. I was there for school and got very little sleep due to the noise. The cleaners wore so much cologne/perfume that it makes you nauseous.

When we checked into the Suite room - the tub was full of water and the toilet was over flowed. We were given another room but it was only a regular King room.

We were uncharged $150 because they said there was a noise complaint from the other room and we weren't even in the room - we were out for the night.

The room was dirty. Sticky rings from drinks on the night tables, dirt and what looked like a poppy petal...(from November, maybe??)....in a corner next to the fridge. The curtain was actually falling off the rod but the most disgusting thing was the old, dried, yellow pee in front of the toilet. I booked that hotel for the pool but when I saw how neglected the room was, no way would I tempt fate by using the pool. Needless to say, I will never stay there again!

Great price to sleep one night. The room was clean and ready. Free soap, champoo with some coffee. I wish there were more TV channel though. I only found one channel working. But that's not the end of the world and I rather have better price and room than selection on TV. Bed was very confortable and slept very well. The temperature from the heating/AC could be easily controlled manually. The great quality/price tilts my review to 5 stars. Thank you!

Stricter rules should be implemented to reservations involving sport teams. Having lack of supervision allowing kids running and yelling in the hallways till 11pm while others are trying to sleep or relax is unacceptable. Front desk employee disregarded the racket.

The room and hotel itself was fine, clean enough however we booked a 2 double beds room and only had 2 towels. We were 2 adults, a toddler and a newborn traveling together. The TV in the room was not working and the AC was blasting at maximum capacity when we entered the room. During the summer this would be great, but not as much during the winter.
Also we had to extend our stay for family matters and the hotel itself offered us a rate that was 45$ more expensive than online. Had to book the extra night online and do a second check-in at the reception.
