Very disappointed the hot tub has been shut down. I purposely booked the hotel due to the hot tub, as I have stayed at the hotel previously and didn’t know it was no longer active. I also wish they had coffee and water in the lobby. I did not have time to go for breakfast prior to leaving for the day (as restaurant was not open yet)…it would have been nice to have an option in lobby besides the 2 keurig pods in our room.

It was overall a decent stay. The room was clean and they staff was helpful with our questions. The pool does not seem well maintained. We went the first night and a step on the ladder was completely broken off and there was a bandaid in the water. On top of that there was a group of men that had came in and were drinking and making some inappropriate comments. We tried again the next night and there was a big clump of hair floating in the water. I would not recommend if you are going for the pool, otherwise it was overall not to bad for the price.

This isn't the Hilton, but you know that when you book. If you're only here to sleep and shower, as we were - it's perfect. The rooms are a little outdated, but that doesn't bother me. It's clean and that is what matters. Great price for a quick stay.

I liked the cleanliness and the fact that the bedroom and lounge room were separate.
We did have a problem with the wifi but quickly fix by staff.
The place could use a good window cleaning, I couldn’t even open the curtains as they were so dirty.
Otherwise we did enjoy our stay.

Although the price was a little better than other hotels in Sudbury, it was reflected in the property. When you only have the web pictures to go by everything looks good, however experiencing a stay opens your eyes. The beds were okay but very noisy, the bathroom sink did not drain, exhaust fan was full of dirt, room door hardware totally destroyed, the elevator was much to be desired, parking lot needs a lot of work, many smokers outside the main entrance. At least the front desk girl was pleasant.

Booked an “upgraded” room only to be told that the only difference between upgrade and standard is a king bed. Expedia room pictures are deceiving.

Watch out for potholes in the parking lot, they’re big enough to ruin your day. Somebody must have hulked out on the door to the stairwell, because the pushbar was hanging sideways off the door. My room smelled like a mix of subtle BO and cleaning products, so I knew it had been recently cleaned. Shortly after arriving there was a domestic dispute in the hallway, but it resolved itself pretty quickly. There also seems to be a black cat living in the laundry area of the hotel.

I travel a fair bit so I had realistic expectations for this stay, I’m really just disappointed in myself for deluding myself into thinking this time might be different.

The booking included 3 adults. The pull out sofa was available. The front desk passed the guest a bag to make the bed herself. I was surprised that the bed was not already prepared.
The bathroom sink was plugged; difficult to brush teeth, etc.
The dining room offered delicious supper and brunch menus. Scrumptious desserts!

We stayed in the Queen Suite. Doored room to double bed- One improvement could be a curtain on the doors to the bedroom to offer more privacy/light blocking. Otherwise great stay. Hot tub not functional, but pool good. No free breakfast, but attached to a Perkins. Clean and quiet and good location.

Staff were very friendly. That’s about the only positive. The grime and mold in the washroom was disgusting. My kids slept on the world’s most uncomfortable pull-out (which we were not provided bedding for). And yes, no pull-out is comfortable, however these are young children that weigh next to nothing and have slept on multiple pull out couches and never complained. The pool was so cloudy that my kids couldn’t find their sinkey toys. And there wasn’t enough toiletries provided for a family of 4. If you’re looking for a hotel that makes you feel grimy and want to rush home for a shower.. this is your place.

The carpet smelled like “dirty feet “. The carpet was ripped by the door, there were multiple stains on the carpet, the swimming pool was not swim able. (Very cloudy and I couldn’t see the bottom) I won’t be back !!

I would never stay here again.. in fact I will sleep in my truck before I stay at this travel logdge. All night people were drinkning an partying on the main floor. The bath tub actually had blood in it. The girl that checked me in was extremely rude and dismissive. If I can give you a recommendation on getting a hotel if there is no others to book drive out of town and check into a small motel between sudbury and northbay. I forget the name but it was about 20 mins outside of town and even know the room was dated it was clean quiet and the man was very nice that checked us in. NEVER NEVER NEVER again will I stay at this particular travel lodge and probably not any other travel lodge again.

They tried to forcibly enter my room after I fell asleep in a completely dry bathroom, that being the only thing that would ease my nausea. They cited water in the vents but there were no vents on the floor in the bathroom.

Don't turn on the air conditioning or else these clowns will send someone to break in to your room, should another customer complain about being cold.

Price was good and staff was great. I requested a crib. It was not a crib, but a small playpen. The first one was broken and they quickly replaced it, but the second one was dirty. Thankfully I had my own travel playpen in the car. There is a big difference between a crib and a playpen and this should be clarified to the consumer. Anything for a baby should be cleaned after use. There was stains on the towels and the facility wasn't the cleanest. The staf did try to accommodate and make us comfortable though.

Upon check-in, the room was not quite up to standard with cleanliness, but the issues were rectified right away. They even offered us another room, which wasn't necessary. Any issue that came up was addressed immediately in a kind and respectful manner. We love this hotel because it is close to Science North, the pool is open late (10 p.m.), there is a restaurant onsite, the staff are always amazing and you can't beat the price.

10% off breakfast is nothing, there should still be a continental breakfast offering at that price. At least have coffee available in the lobby. My room had no whitener for the coffee so I didn’t bother to brew one.
I blame myself for not reading the details of the hotel more fully before I booked. I will be choosing a different hotel from the app in the future.

We stay at this hotel often and have stayed in many different rooms. We were in room 257 this time. Overall very clean. I didn’t like the bed-too soft. The last time we stayed in a similar room it had carpet, this room had laminate flooring and I know that the laminate flooring is cleaner overall but it lacked a certain comfort. When we stayed in room 356 it had carpet and felt a lot more comfortable and felt “warmer”. The shower heads could use an upgrade as well.
But overall I like this hotel. The pool is decent and more kid friendly than most because even the deep end isn’t super deep. The staff here are wonderful- always so kind and they smile when they see you and so helpful. For the price I think this is a great hotel!

Hotel is close to where we needed to be and the food at the restaurant (Perkins) is also excellent. We were there during a \"boil water advisory\" and were not informed by the hotel! Had we not found out from our waitress at Perkins, we would have been drinking and using the water oblivious to this! When we asked for water at the desk, we were given one bottle of water for 2 of us and were told we could buy more. This was just enough to brush our teeth, and have a bit to drink. That was OK as our coffee machine didn't work and there were no more available. We were offered a coffee in the morning.

Shower head was too low and I’m average height. I booked the room to have an early check in. The First Lady I dealt with saying there wasn’t any note or request made. After finding my itinerary, I shower her the request made two months prior. She the said “oh the system just updated and I see it now but your room won’t be available until at least 2pm.” This was only one hour prior to regular check in and I was at the hotel shortly after 11 with the request for being able to check in at 11. After working many night shifts this was very discouraging as the reservation and request was made two months prior.

The hotel was just ok. It was definitely not as clean as it should be. The rooms were good for the most part, but the pool area was absolutely disgusting. We went Saturday morning as soon as it opened and it was filthy. The pool was cloudy, there was wet paper towel or chunks of paper all over the floor. There were big gobs of slimy hair on the floor drains on the pool deck and the area had clearly not been cleaned in a while. The bathrooms off of the pool area were also very dirty. The elevator was dirty as well as the fridge off the lobby containing items for guests to buy was quite gross.
We had a room with a pull out couch and when we pulled it out there were food crumbs and sand on the mattress (which did not have a mattress protector or cover) When asked if someone could clean it, we were told there was no housekeeping at that time of day, and we were only offered a different room when we restated that we could not sleep on that bed.
The employees seemed nice but they were definitely understaffed. There was only one person on the front desk at all times, and there was often a lineup of people waiting and the phone ringing, unanswered.

Generally the interior and exterior of property is not cleaned. Parking lot had lots of waste and empty beer bottles. Elevator had food on the walls for the 2 days we were there, never cleaned. Pool is not heated, hot tub is permanently out of order. Pool water is cloudy and dirty, did not go in because of this.
Room is very dated and needs Reno. Beds are horrible, way too soft. The bed frame was broken and several wheels missing, looked under the bed to find it's held up with small chunks of scrap wood. Bathroom and shower sinks take forever to drain. The room overall is not very clean.

We ended up asking for a refund and going elsewhere. We booked a room here because it was close to the hospital, which is really the only positive for the hotel. It does have what seemed to be a decent restaurant attached as well.

The first room we went to had a broken window that was not possible to close and since it was going below zero that night it made the room unusable.

We asked for another room and were moved but the second room was horribly dirty with massive visible red stains on the carpet. Large stains on all of the furniture and stains on the bedding. We just asked for a refund after that.

The property is dated. The carpets are from the 80's and look worn. The rooms are clean but shows its age. The bed was clean and comfortable. There were no plugins for charging your electronics with usb plugs. The lobby has a snack machine that has food to purchase like salads and wraps. People always in a rush like me appreciate that ammenidity. The staff from front desk to cleaners are pleasant, mannerely and extremely accommodating. The staff I would give stars.

Would like to see the whole hallway, carpets wrapped up and replaced with Moore cleaner vinyl flooring. The hotel could use a little renovations in certain areas but overall the stay was great.

The lobby is ok upon arrival. But our room had a terrible feeling to it. It smelled like it had been smoked in for years. And there was splatter marks on the curtains that looked like blood or sauce. Just an over all bad experience. Our bedding had weird marks on it too. You get what you pay for. This was a hotel our team chose so wouldn’t have been our first choice if it was up to us.

Upon a late night arrival we were greeted by an impatient man to check us in. He huffed and puffed with any questions that we asked and seemed like we were inconveniencing him. He seemed to get better as we conversation went on but still wasn’t the best way to start a stay. Then as we get room key and room number and start heading to our room we hear yelling in the lobby to find two young drugged out individuals and the police also there. Through the night these two drugged out guests were allowed to stay and I could hear them talking loud through the halls all at night..by night it was midnight. Needless to say it didn’t feel as safe as I’d like and didn’t feel us staying there was even appreciated or cared about. Linens had some dirt in them also, we layed on our own bedding we brought. We got in so late from travel I didn’t have the time to go change hotels or even different room at that.

Our room was an updated room....meaning no carpet but vinyl wood. Bathroom had two very small bars of soap, shampoo, no cream rinse. Bed was comfortable, towels clean and pillows adequate. The door to the halls need rubber stripping as lots of light from the hallway leaks in the room at night. Price was amazing and from the looks of the parking lot, very full at night. It is on a busy street across from the hospital. A good value.
