This was a great choice for our Naxos island stay.
Good price. Friendly staff. Nice pool. It is directly across from a beach but it was a wind/kite surf kind of beach. The lovely sandy beaches were just a short walk from the hotel. Fantastic location, close to the port and restaurants but far enough away to be restful. City bus costs 2.30E and takes about 5 minutes to get you to the Port with all its action
Very nice breakfast included. Our room was simple and well decorated. The only thing I’d ask for next time is a couple of luggage racks.

The hotel was at the southern end of the main strip of hotels, restaurants and shopping. Very quiet area with a great view of the port traffic and cruise ships. The up and down to get to the hotel was more than expected but staff was there to carry bags up and down once we checked in.

Our experience at this hotel was not the best. For one, there was no coffee machine which is standard at every hotel. In addition to this, the toilet flush wasn’t working efficiently, and the bathroom door had a hole in it and did not lock. The shower also did not drain properly. There was also a random beeping noise in the middle of the night. Along with all of these problems it was mediocre service. There was minimal staff at the hotel, and there were several instances where we couldn’t find any staff around the hotel. The breakfast was good with a wide range of options, and the chef worked hard to accommodate to our customized needs since we are vegetarian. In the breakfast area was a stray cat roaming around trying to grab food from our breakfast table, and nobody controlled it.

The Resort was wonderful! We are a family of five and each of us slept comfortably each night. The location is perfect, right across from the beach. The pool and pool bar were great, the breakfast buffet was delicious. Will definitely come back here to stay again.

We had an excellent stay in a 2 bedroom unit. The best thing about this hotel is the staff! They were so helpful and amazing! We were given a welcome drink on arrival and one of the staff (can't remember the name) sat with us to orient us to the island, best places to eat and how to get around! The breakfast was great with hot and cold options and excellent cappuccino! The pool was nice and very clean. I think the rooms were dated and could be cleaned more thoroughly. Despite being a beach/pool hotel, there was limited space for hanging swimwear and towels.

Pros:
- People - ALL the staff were very helpful and friendly! This started with our transfer from the ferry port, all the way until our departure!
- Breakfast was comprehensive and tasty
- Pool was clean and refreshing
- The hotel staff provided towels for the pool and to take off-site to the beach

Cons:
- Although the location is central (right across from St George beach) and walking distance to town, you have to walk along busy road to get to town.
- I think the rooms could be slightly more luxurious and have better upkeep. The shower head was broken throughout our stay.
- I felt the cleaning in the rooms could be better. We always wore flip-flops in the room as we didn't trust the floor. Our balcony had huge spider webs and multiple large, dead beetles that weren't cleaned regularly.

The Princess of Naxos was a delightful \"over-the-top\" surprise. We were upgraded to a superior room, which had a great zero-entry shower, large enough for two. There are many hidden aspects until you are there -- the pool is at the front of the property, but aqua transparent panels provide a \"sea-like\" addition while providing some sound containment. The water pump/filtration and a small waterfall provide a quiet water noise when sitting nearby, very soothing. The staff responded with speed and responsiveness. One particular standout on the staff is Melina, who is warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful. The local owner is engaged with the day-to-day operation and that is good.
The hotel is not in Naxos town, but is nearby. My wife and I walk a lot and a nice restaurant and super market were within an 800 meter walking distance. The beach is 200 meters directly across the road, but the winds on Naxos are a fact of life. If you want wind-surfing, many beaches are available. If you want quiet and gentle swimming, your search will require more time.
Any visitor to Naxos should take a bus tour of the island on their first full day -- Melina can help arrange it.

Amazing location, owner, staff, nice room!

We had a very good stay. The room.is spacious modern and clean, we had an ocean view which is amazing. When we booked the hotel on line,.It says no breakfast, when George the accountant opened the door for us, saying \"what do you want for breakfast? We will make it for you, don't worry about it. Oh, it is late now, go to your room and pay tomorrow.\" Next day we met Stella, she made us all kinds for breakfast, so friendly. They just made my trip more special.

Excellent in every way

Fantastic, well maintained, clean, tidy hotel with great rooms, a good swimming pool, a great breakfast and amazing staff in a peaceful location with easy access to the beach and the town.

A big bonus was car hire available on site at great rates with spotlessly clean well maintained cars.

Above all, the team work incredibly hard to make sure everything is special and memorable.

Among the best and we will be back.

Lovely hotel, well situated and friendly staff!

Lovely hotel situated just off of St George’s beach. The staff were very friendly, polite and always helpful. There’s the option to rent a car from the hotel however we opted for a scooter instead which was booked in town. Our room was spacious with a large balcony overlooking the gardens, a huge shower and a good king size bed. We didn’t eat or drink at the property but they do offer those services. It’s a short 10-15 minute walk into Naxos town, perfect for burning off a couple of calories after a meal in town. Overall we really loved Princess of Naxos and would definitely stay again in the future.

Nice hotel, but a little far from centre of Naxos. Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff were great and front desk girls were exceptional. They would go out of their way to help. Meet and greet was outstanding. The only let down was the breakfast, It needs updating and more of a selection. I recommend that breakfast be served in a room rather than outside where it is hot and flies and bees get to the food. Overall a nice hotel

Every time we stepped back into the hotel, her welcoming smile was there for another chat and review on the day. If it wasn’t for Eleni, I guarantee our experience wouldn’t have been the same. Great big rooms, clean and easy to get around.

Great hotel and staff. Really nice pool and could walk to beach across the street. Huge room with separate space to work. Only compliant was there could have been conditioner in the room, not just shampoo. We would for sure stay here again. They even had cars and ATV's you could rent on site and set up transfers for you.

We are not picky and we've been everywhere however there were way too many things we just didn't like here. In no particular order:
- located by the busy road
- lots of flies, everywhere, bar, room , etc
- very average rooms, modern clean bathrooms though
- breakfast wasn't included, I am glad it wasn't, I wouldn't want to eat there
- old towels
- very slow wifi, spotty signal

Overall this place has potential but it is overdue for a renovation.

A wonderful hotel

It’s a lovely hotel with just as lovely staff. Everyone is so helpful and courteous. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. I had a lovely view overlooking the pool area and the beach across the street. The hotel is located outside of town, however, it is within walking distance. The hotel also rents out cars that are on their property. The pool area is clean and comfortable. They offer a kids pool next to the adult pool. The bar offers a variety of drinks and snacks. Honestly, this hotel was just what I was looking for to relax while island hopping. My only complaint is that the bed was slightly hard but I have found that to be a common thing with European beds.

Great choice!

Comfortable hotel across from Saint George beach and within walking distance to the town.
Staff showed us areas of interest within easy access.
We rented a car and had a wonderful time touring the island, although, some of the switchbacks were intimidating, glad it was off season and very little traffic.
Do not take any roads that are indicated as dirt! They are basically goat trails.
The breakfast is a great start to the day, with a lot of variety.
Each unit has a sitting area by the front door, great place to sit and relax with a drink, also had individual balcony's.
A Must Try is restaurant Antamoma *excellent slow cooked lamb , lovely presentation. Wonderful salad with figs, pear, hazelnuts, cheese and greens.

We had a wonderful stay at Princess of Naxos. The location was ideal, away from the bustle but just a very quick ride into town. The staff was super helpful in providing a suggested itinerary for the island, and also for local dining. Car rental is available on site which was extremely convenient and a seamless process, as well as offering a competitive rate. I would most definitely choose this hotel again for a future stay on Naxos.

The best hotel stay during my entire trip in Greec

Staying at Princess Naxos is like staying at a friend's place. They are so accommodating, helpful and nice. The hotel is lovely and very comfortable. Be sure to ask for an ocean view room it has a great sunset view. The prize of this hotel is the staff particularly the manager! Next time I'm in Naxos this is definitely my place!

Absolutely Wonderful!

Very clean, spacious, updated, within walking distance of the beach and town, friendly and accommodating staff. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The owner was great! He upgraded our room, drove us into town(free of charge) one night for dinner because we were exhausted from hiking Mount Zeus, and also dropped us off at the port after checking out. We will stay there again and recommend to everyone!

we were welcomed nicely, given advice on where to tour and what to see. We were also able to rent a car with the hotel so that saved us a lot of hassle! My fiance and I went in late september and the weather was absolutely perfect. We were recommended some nice restaurants in naxos town and were very pleased:) Definitely recommend this hotel!

Perfect hotel perfect location - in love!!!

Would definitely recommend and would stay here again if we return to Naxos (which we plan too!). Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Perfect location a short walk to the town of Naxos and a shuttle is provided to and from the airport and the ferries. On our first day we had a lovely warm welcome from George which included a welcome drink and snacks, and a orientation to the local area and the wider island. Never in our extensive travel have we had such a warm and friendly welcome to a hotel. The only slight downside is that the one morning we had breakfast at the hotel (which was a lovely combination of western food and local food) we asked for coffee made from the espresso machine but the staff member that morning said we could only have the coffee from the instant coffee machine (which wasn't very nice). We were happy to pay extra for coffee from the espresso machine.

Could not fault anything during our stay here. Picked up by hotel staff from the port. Bags taken to our rooms. Welcome drink drink by the pool (which is a good size and has a bar), where staff gave us information and advice about what to do during our stay. Rooms were clean, comfy and stylish. Staff were incredible. Litarrly across the road from the beach. Amd also a bus stop if you want to check out other beaches (which are amazing). You can buy bus tickets from the hotel.

Lovely hotel beautiful views. across the road to st georges beach. only a 10 mins walk into town but a lovely walk along the beach. Bus stop outside hotel into town 1.80€ bus ran till 12.taxi about 6€. Hotel rooms were lovely. We were picked up from port and at reception were told everything we needed to know about the beautiful island of naxos.

We stayed in a room which looked as though it had recently been done up: clean, stylishly minimalist and with a shower to die for (important on Naxos in July!). The staff were friendly and accommodating to requests. The hotel is 3 minutes from the beach. The only small drawback is that a slightly noisy road goes past the swimming pool but we didn't find it to be an issue. We would definitely stay there again.

Pleasant hotel near beach and near-ish to town.

Princess of Naxos is located a bit of a walk from the beach and town, a bit longer than we had thought. it is also located right on the road. But the hotel itself is quite nice: new, clean and stylish rooms (if ours was somewhat unfinished) and a lovely pool and outdoor eating area. The staff is accomodating and ever-present.

A little piece of Naxos paradise

Great hotel with great service. The owner George picked us up from the boat and brought us back to the hotel which was only a 5 minute drive. The facilities and amenities were great and the hotel was a 10 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of Naxos town and at George beach. Would definitely come back again.

Unbeatable service!

The Princess of Naxos was the perfect place for our family stay at Naxos. We stayed in a 2bedroom apartment for our family of 5 and it was clean, spacious and had all the mod cons required for a great stay. From the moment we arrived, the service offered by Vagellis and his staff was exceptional. Nothing was too hard and he was very knowledgable about the local area as well as the rest of the island. We would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Nice but not what we expected

Staff were nice and location close to walk into town and close to drive to beaches but hotel not what we expected. Website made us think the hotel was new and modern but when we got there it was the opposite. Bathrooms old and bed very hard. Pool was on the side of the main road which made it impossible to relax while listening to cars drive past. Overall we had a nice stay as we were never at the hotel and Naxos is gorgeous, but next time would pay better money and stay somewhere much nicer.

Great service: we got picked up from the ferry terminal without even booking the pickup! The main person there gave us 1 + hour orientation and helped us with hike and dinner planning, dropped us back to ferry after the stay. Internet worked well. Pricing was right.

Lovely hotel for a beach vacation

We stayed here for 2 nights and really loved it. The rooms are really nice, and George, who owns the hotel, is really nice and helpful. The hotel is about a 3 minute walk to St George beach and about a 15 minute walk to town. Pros: beautiful room and bathroom, nice pool and pool bar area, really nice and helpful staff.
Cons: you have to walk along a semi-busy road with no sidewalk to get to the hotel and the area is poorly lit at night.

Also, it's a bit hard to get to from the port (unless you know where you're going) but fortunately the hotel offers free transfer to and from the port- just contact them when you know which boat you'll be taking and they'll come pick you up!

They made our holiday to all to our expectations

The hotel is well situated to the best beach in our view, with town just 10 minutes walk, Taverner's for good eating just few minutes away & a super market close to. The hotel is very well run their aim is always to please even when it is raining giving us a lift to our restaurant. I would certenley recommend this hotel to couples & families as the beaches are child safe that the water is shallow in most places. I would rate this hotel as 4 star the only suggestion that we would make that they provide electric kettle plus tea & coffee with cups. But saying that we took our own kettle, tea & coffee & they did provide cups & saucers on request. The hotel is kept immaculate clean including the swimming pool & surrounding areas including the gardens. regards Tom Irwin
