The staff's attention to details was amazing! Before we arrived we got detailed instructions on how to get to the hotel and where to park a car. We didn't drive there but had planned too, the parking is a bit further away but the staff will help you if needed. We also got recommendations of place to eat and what to go see with a map of the city. The staff were very attentive. The hotel is in a great location near the bazar and walking distance to fish lake and the museum. The hotel is very quiet and peaceful.

I booked this online not knowing anything about the area and just by the reviews mostly
We got there at dusk. Not knowing anything about the area arriving was a little iffy.
This place was awesome!!! The staff, the room, the grounds, the area. The staff was awesome even though we didn’t speak their language and they didn’t speak ours. Thank goodness for ITranslate. So kind and helpful
We are going to hopefully return and will stay with them again

Mr Bariş was very welcoming and well organized. I appreciated him texting me all the relevant information ahead of time (wifi password, local restaurants, breakfast time and checkout time etc.)
We managed to organize our entire visit to the local sites with our driver, Hassan who was excellent!
We were in good hands with his safe driving, meeting our requests for additional stops willingly and ensuring we wouldnt be taken advantage of by local merchants.
He made our viaits to Gobleki tepe, Karahan tepe, Halfeti and Harran memorable - my only wish was to have had more time to spend at the Sanliurfa museum. Make sure you give yourself enough time - it is truly worth it.
Would recommend this hotel and driver without hesitation.
Long live Hassan Hassan!!

We chose this hotel upon recommendation from our tour guide and we were very pleasantly impressed. The many interior courtyards give you a cozy and intimate feeling. The room we had was beautiful, perfectly clean, spacious and the stone walls are stunning. It's located in the old part of the city, so you walk thru a maze of narrow alleys when going in or out. It really adds to the charm of this place. Very HIGHLY recommend the Kalihura Butik Hotel if you stay in Sanliurfa.

Our stay at Kaliruha was wonderful. The hotel was designed well in converting old stone homes into a charming hotel. The accomodations were comfortable and the room was nice and clean. The AC was more than sufficient to keep the room comfortable despite the high heat outside. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The outside courtyards were great for sitting and chatting in the evening.

The hotel offers a car park which you can reqch your room in 3 min. Closeby many historical places in a nice walking distance. Definetely the first option to stay in Şanlıurfa

Such a nice hotel with weak management skills. I believe they have good intentions but for better communication they need to be educated. With my private car I spent 45 minutes to reach to the hotel while my google map and waze were showing 5 minutes. All the streets are very narrow and the navigation kept trying me to use the narrow streets. And the hotel blames me that I don’t have a local number which I don’t have to have it. They supposed to call me from my overseas number and explain the procedure which is parking somewhere else and walking to hotel that were 200 metres away NOT ACCEPTABLE!!! I know it’s an issue but they have to mention when we were booking !!!

We had a great stay at Kaliruha. The room was beautiful and comfortable, and the traditional building almost felt like a tourist attraction by itself. As it is tucked away, it was very quiet, but also right near all of the old town attractions. The breakfast was great, and the manager was really welcoming and helpful.

Superb choice for the historic centre

Look no further if you want to stay in the historic centre. Modern hotels can be in soulless locations miles from the main sights. And old town hotels can be damp and unwelcoming in winter.
The Kaliruha is therefore a special find. The rooms are stunning but they are also warm and inviting. The wonderful bazaar and other main sights are well within walking distance. And above all the welcome is warm and the support excellent. Highly recommended.
For a cheap and fun arrival, take the airport bus to the last stop, buy a bus ticket from the security booth at the bus station to the south (50m). Look over the main road and you will see a 63 bus waiting to take you to within 200m of the hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay here.Directions off hotel right to the parking area where excellent.Check in was smooth and we were soon in our room. This was lovely, comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. Breakfast was very good,and plenty of it. All the staff were pleasant and Baris is a very nice fella and nothing was to much trouble for him.

I would give 5 stars to Barıs however the bathroom in the room was smelling terrible. We couldn’t take a shower.

The owner should take care of the bathroom smell immediately. I have seen one more comment about the issue and I would like to highlight it here that the smell was disgusting. Rest was okay.

Amazing stay in Old Town

Amazing stay. Barish was excellent in making us feel like family. With a little Turkish, a little English and Google translate, we were able to converse as friends. Always supportive and helpful with an offer of chai, the staff is wonderful! Barish was even able to set us up with a driver for Gobeklitepe and helped several days. Our room was beautiful and clean. We loved staying in the old town to walk around to the bazaar and Abraham holy site. So many good things to say. We will return. Tessikir ederim.

Peaceful oasis in the old city near best bazaar.

Wonderful oasis in the old city, the breakfast is beyond great, the courtyards are so peaceful to eat, read and relax in after a hectic visit to the local bazaars were some the best deals in Turkey cam be had on many local tradecrafts. The owner sent a video for getting to the parking area as this location can be driven to directly but is within a 2-3 minute walk of a large parking area.

I normally never leave a review however, the Kaliruha hotel and the area that it was located was quite remarkable.
The hotel is located in the old city of Ṣanlı Urfa, after the Taxi dropped us off from the airport we walked approximately 600' (200m) through the old city's narrow and historical streets. The hotel is beautifully designed, reflecting the historical side with it's architecture and it's courtyards. The comfortable and modern rooms provide an excellent way to relax after a long day at Göbekli Tepe.
I highly recommend this hotel as it is walking distance to most of the historical areas and dining options. It is clean, professionally managed and the amazing breakfast that they offer in their courtyards is delicious.
The staff was very friendly and professional & Special Thanks to Ilyas and Mazi at the reception.
PS: We also recommend Cevahir for dining options. Best kebab I ever had in my life.

We arrived in the dark and the rain, didn't realise there was a 200m walk down cobblestone alleyways with our suitcases. Luckily our taxi driver spoke to the hotel and they came to meet us or I'm not sure we would have found the place! The room was very small, staff spoke very little English, we had to ask for a change of towels on the 3rd day and for our rubbish to be emptied, The power went off twice for half an hour when showering, the hot water took 10ins to actually get hot but was then good, the toilet seat wouldn't stay up, on the 2nd day of mentioning it to reception I was handed a piece of double sided tape which worked for nearly 2 days before falling off. The breakfasts were amazing, even though finding the room they were in was a bit of guess work. The staff were really helpful at fixing my suitcase wheel that had fallen off (before getting to the cobblestones). We were expecting 5 star based on reviews, it was definitely only a nice 3

There were electric shortage for at least 10-15 minutes every night while our stay and the A/C didn't work during the power outage making the room very cold. There wasn't any hangers for coat or pants etc. so you have to keep everything in your luggage making it difficult to store them. Other than these Urfa has so many historical places and museums etc. making the place a must-see place.

Die Anlage sah aus wie 1001 Nacht. Ich hatte auch drei Jacken im Zimmer vergessen, die wurden mir zugeschickt, worüber ich Mega dankbar war. Der Service war nett, freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wir haben den Fahrer vom Hotel gebucht für einige Ortschaften, er ist vorsichtig gefahren, er war informativ und war sehr höflich und nett.

Bellissimo hotel nella zona vecchia della città, 2 minuti a piedi dal bazar e 20 dai musei. Le stanze sono attorno a 2 bei cortili interni. C’è parcheggio convenzionato vicino. La stanza era ampia con soffitto a volta, letto comodo, AC funzionante. Buona colazione a buffet. Il sig Basir proprietario è gentilissimo e ti spiega come muoverti. Solo il bagno è migliorabile, la pendenza della doccia non è giusta e il bagno è un po’ piccolo.

Otel 3 ayrı konaktan oluşuyor. Konaklama yan yana 2 konakta yapılıyor. Her iki binada eski binalar. Etkiliyeci, huzur dolu bir atmosferi var. Odamız büyük, konforlu ve temizdi.
Dış alanlarda düzenliydi. Yeterli oturma alanı vardı.
Ancak kahvaltı bölümü olarak kullanılan 3. Konağa geçiş sırasında Kullanılan ara sokak için biraz özen gösterilse iyi olacak diye düşünüyorum.

Öncelikle çalışanların ilgisi ve alakası mükemmel. Odalar çok güzel. Duş kısmında sıcak soğuk problemi bizi biraz fazla uğraştırdı. Su bir anda soğuyor bir anda kaynıyordu. Kahvaltısı çok güzel. Fakat kötü yanı Suriye’de geziyor gibiydim otele giderken. Konum olarak vasattı. Otoparka arabayı bırakıp otele yürürken eşimle beraber gerildik. Sanırım mahalle olarak kötü bir yerdeydi.

Şanlıurfa bir günlük ziyaretimiz için Kaliruha Hoteli tercih ettik. Tüm deneyimi eklemeden çıkarmadan anlatacağım. Birinci dakikadan itibaren Barış Bey daha otele varmadan, otelin konumu, otoparkın konumu ve fotoğrafları, şehirde görülebilecek yerler, yakınlardaki yeme içme noktaları, kahvaltı saati, eğlence, Wifi şifresine kadar tümü önemli bilgileri paylaştı. Otele girmeden bu kadar hazırlıklı bir otelcilik örneğiyle karşılaşmadım. Kendisine de teşekkür ettim. Otele geldiğimizde de otelin tarihçesinden özenle bahsetti. İç içe geçmiş konaklardan oluşan en yenisi 100 yılı aşmış yapılar, avlu ortamı ve oda donanımı oldukça başarılı. Yazılanların eksiği yok, fazlası var, odada ihtiyaç her şey düşünülmüş. Kahvaltıda geleneksel ve yöresel çok iyi harmanlanmış, oldukça yeterli ve doyurucudur. Ayrıca Şanlıurfa için sıra gecesi önemli bir kültürel öğe. Otelden yapılan yönlendirmeyle gittiğimiz mekanda keyifli bir akşam geçirdik. Otel müşterisi olarak geldiğinizi belirttiğimizde de çok güzel ağırladılar. Tekrar yolumuz düşerse kesinlikle kalmak isteyeceğimiz yerdir. Otele konum olarak otantik sokakların sonunda ulaşılıyor. Bir gece ailecek konakladık.Konaklama gününden önce barış beyin,otopark ve otelle ilgili yaptığı bilgilendirme için ayrıca teşekkür ederiz. Odamız avluya açılıyordu.Hoş bir şekilde restore edilmiş avlusunda sürekli çay imkanın olması,güleryüzlü personel,temiz oda,doyurucu kahvaltı tekrar urfada konaklayacak olsam yine tercihim bu otel olurdu.

Great location, staff and hotel

We had an awesome stay. Baris was really helpful and provided us with all the infos we needed and even organized a driver for us to go to all the sites in the region.
The rooms were clean and the AC worked perfectly. The hotel is really nice and well maintained and the location is really convenient.

Beklediğimizden çok daha iyiydi. Merkeze oldukça yakın balıklıgöle 4 dakika yürüyüş mesafesinde kalıyor. Odalar otantik ve eski urfa havasına sahip. Barış bey ve Muhammed bey bize oldukça yardımcı oldular. Tekrar gidersem konaklamayı düşünebilirim. Odalar temizdi ve avlusu akşam oturmaları için harikaydı.

Şehrin merkezinde otantik bir otel

Urfa seyahatini planlarken açıkçası şehrin ruhunu anlatan bir otel olmasını planlamıştım. Kaliruha tam da bu bağlamda hedeflediğim bir otel oldu. Gelirken yollarında kaybolduğum şehrin merkezinde, ama bir o kadar da daracık tek kişilik taş yolları ile Edessa yı hissetiğimiz bir oteldi. Odalar son derece otantik yüzyıllık zeytin ağaçlarının altındaydı. Personel özellikle Barış bey kibar ve yardımsever. Açıkçası Benim için önemli olan ortam ve tanıştığım kişilerdi yoksa kahvaltıda ne yediğim değil. dolayısı ile beklentilerimi karşılayan güzel bir iki gün geçirdim. Teşekkürler

A Traditional Experience

We stayed at such a traditional Urfa hotel with a historical soul. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The small gardens with fig, olive, grape and pomegranate trees makes you feel peaceful. The staff was really welcoming and caring. We totally recommend it for your Urfa stay.

Kısa süreli konaklamalarda ilk tercihim

Otelin konumu çok iyi aracımızı anlaşmalı olduğu otoparka bıraktık çarşıya,balıklıgöle ve akşam sıra gecesine yürüyerek gittik hepsi yürüme mesafesindeydi.Otel eski bir han ve odaları otantik dizayn edilmiş.Odamızda hava temizleme cihazı vardı sanırım bundan dolayı odanın içerisi basık ve nemli olmuyordu.Kahvaltı idare eder.Genel olarak beğendim Şanlıurfaya bir sonraki seyahatimde tekrar tercih edeceğim.Otel yetkilisi Barış bey de yeterince ilgiliydi rezervasyonunuzdan bir gün önce iletişime geçip otoparkın konumunu hatta fotoğrafları paylaştı.Şanlıurfaya ilk defa geldim ve gezecek yerler hakkında Barış bey çok yardımcı oldu.Zaten otelin konumu her yere çok yakın.Genelde otelde yabancı turistler vardı.

O hotel é antigo mas bem conservado. Fica num via só para pedestres a uns 200m da rua. Nos deram o quarto terreo em frente a recepção e do lado da porta de entrada, barulho devido a chegada e saidas e sem privacidade a nao ser com cortinas fechadas, o que deixava o quarto escuro. Cama confortável. Café da manhã fraco. Só sucos artificiais e chá. Sem leite ou café e opçoes frias. Paes chgaram quando já estavamos saindo.

Bir gece iki günlük tatilimizde eski bir konak olan bu oteli tercih ettik. Konum olarak şehir merkezinde olduğundan birçok yere yürüyerek gidebildik. Otelin otoparkı yok ancak yakındaki bir otoparkla anlaşmalılar ve oraya ücretsiz olarak park edebiliyorsunuz. Sabah kahvaltımız da çok çeşitli ve lezzetliydi. Çok güzel bir avluda ağaçların altında ettik kahvaltımızı. Güleryüzlü arkadaşlar tarafından yönetiliyor. Herkese tavsiye ederiz

Şehrin kalbi

Şehrin merkezinde gerçekten çok güzel bir otel. Tarihi sokakların arasında her yere yürüme mesafesi ve otopark kullanımıyla bize gerçekten büyük kolaylık sağladı. Bir sonraki Urfa tatilimde yine burada konaklayacağımdan şüphem yok.
