Hotel stay was average. Breakfast was a little above average - decent selection with a few hot items like vegetables. Beverage/coffee/tea area was continually very congested. Though. Pros of staying here: great location, parking easy, quiet. 1 star taken off because of breakfast, staff was neutral in terms of friendliness and approachability, and room comfort (average).

Clean and well cared for, 10 minute walk to the historic central areas… if you are looking for late night ways it won’t be a big dinner, most places fill up at 8, and it’s just sandwiches (tostadas) in northern Spain. Easy to get your 10.000 steps per day.

It was a bit hard to find. We used the directions included by the hotel, but their signage is so small that we drove around the block 3 times, then only found a small sign and revolving door, but still unsure where to park, unload etc.
Eventually we figured it out, and the place is winderful. The staff very freindly and helpful.
Now that we know where to park etc, it is excellent !

My favourite hotel in Vitoria-Gasteiz. Location good for a short walk into the old town, but easily accessible from the highway. Comfortable rooms, underground parking, reasonable price. Shame the Wellington bar is closed at the moment.

Unfortunately the rooms are outdated and since they're exterior, the sound proofing is pretty poor. Pretty loud traffic for a Saturday made the experience pretty suboptimal.

The only option offered by the hotel was to pay extra for a quieter room.

Paid to upgrade to junior suite (usually stay in Club room). Arrived very late after long motorway delays in France. Bed / mattress was so hard and uncomfortable. Had it not been so late and had we not been so tired I’d have insisted on changing rooms. On reflection, should have. Awful night sleep. Bed was very old and mattress equally so. Awful condition. Enjoyed breakfast (good service there), but reception / manager totally disinterested when told of the mattress problem. She sadly showed complete disdain when checking out, only interested in charging extra for the car parking. Stayed here three times now. Two good stays. This latest one ruined by a poor night sleep due to old bed and mattress (in the supposedly best rooms available).

Common areas are nice, very smart. Room was big. Biggest issue was I did not feel welcome as an English speaking male tourist. 2 pleasant staff members others not so much. Breakfast was Ok. Tea/coffee cups in room are plastic and thimble sized. No conditioner or body lotion in bathroom. TV remote visibly dirty but the rest looked clean. Housekeeping coughing alot in the morning. Avoid the coffee shop/bar, it's for the elderly locals who get good service.

Decent location but noisy

The location is right on the outside of Old Town. It was within walking distance to most things.

The male hotel staff at the front desk were very friendly. The female staff were rude. There was one staff member that literally stopped talking to me and started working on other things. I asked if we were done with our transaction because she simply let me stand there.

The room smelled like cigarette smoke, but it was supposedly a non smoking room. I have allergies so we had to keep the door open.

This hotel also only has TWO seasons (one for the heat and one for the AC). I tend to run warm and wanted AC to sleep, but in the fall they turn off the AC. So, we slept with the door open, but it was so noisy it was difficult to sleep.

The wifi was terrible and slow. They also limit your devices, that you hook up to the internet, to 2. That was a first for me.

The breakfast was really good and had a wide selection.

The hotel was in a good location. The room was good. Coffee machine no tea. Silly cups . Tiny.. no glasses just paper cup in the bathroom.
Breakfast was excellent. Good choices at buffet.
Evening meal was poor. Very limited menu and poor food quality. The steak was 50% grisle and fat. Very tough.. My pork rib was tiny and very tough and full of tiny bones.

We stayed here for the Ironman race. The hotel is in a good location for the city centre. The reception staff are excellent and very helpful. Rooms are clean and bathroom is good but very small. Our air conditioning was ineffective and the road too noisy to have the windows open. Amenities are very basic - cheap shower gel, tiny plastic cups for coffee etc. Breakfast is very disappointing for a 4* hotel - the cheapest of everything - bread, yoghurts etc, large unappetising dishes of hot food, machine coffee.

A fabulous building. Our room was of a good size with a decent bathroom. Check the garden on the first floor. At the time of our visit the piano bar was closed but there is an adjoining cafe, bar restaurant which was available. The hotel is ideally situated for a short walk through Florida Park to the old quarter of Vitoria. Overall, faultless.

We've had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Nice lobby and nicely decorated rooms. The beds are comfortable. The airco is not very cold and could use an upgrade for the hottest days. Having said that putting it very low was sufficient to have a comfortable night

The service was great. We needed to extended our stay two different times and Igñaki was a great help soon so. They also helped us to locate a Covid testing site for our flight back to the USA. The bathroom was VERY clean. And the windows in the room were so nice to open up on a nice day.

Not really a 4 star hotel . I travel alot and stay in hotels 3 times per month. The general service was mediocre, no beverage service in the room. Normally 4 and 5 star offer some kind of inroom beverage service. Restaurant was closed during my new year stay however they did offer a new year eves in room cold meal. The restaurant was open the next day with a very poorr menu selection. Bed Linens were of a good quality but bathroom towels and toiletries were poor. Overall i would rate this as a 2 or at a push a 3 star hotel.

A good hotel I have stayed in before.Close to all city amenities and ideal for the jazz festival. The hotel had two residencies playing late night jazz which provided a pleasant atmosphere. I saw a lot of music at various locations throughout the city so the hotel was an excellent base. Drinks were extra pricedl late at night when the performance's were on which could have proved annoying if you weren't staying there with music in mind. However fortunately for me I was there for this.

Still no coffee making facilities in the room, however a pleasant stay and I will return.

Poor receptionist gave a very bad first impression but to be fair this is an excellent hotel. Handy enough for the old town - less than 10 mins stroll - which is well worth a visit. Accommodation was fine, spacious room with all the expected facilities. Didn't eat here as there is an enormous choice of tapas bars in the old town.

easy to find, central location with safe underground parking facility. Ideally situated for stopover between Barcelona and Bilbao ferry terminal. hotel very comfortable ( with requested restricted mobility facilities available) .Only disappointment was restaurant was closed the night of our stay, however barman in Piano Bar recommended an excellent restaurant within easy walking distance- this proved to be an excellent choice. Would certainly recommend another visit but for a longer stay as from reading/ and what we saw on our drive, area has a lot to offer.

Ideal location in a lovely city.

The hotel is in an ideal position, just on the edge of the city centre within easy walking distance. On arrival and the check-in I was greeted by pleasant staff who remained pleasant throughout my stay without being intrusive. The room on the fourth floor was pleasant and clean. I had to pay extra for coffee making facilities which seem to be the norm in Spain and whilst adequate and necessary it did seem a lot to pay. There were a few minor imperfections in the room which need attention such as slightly peeling wallpaper and chipped skirting board but this is something I am sure the management are aware of and did not distract from my stay. Away from these negatives the hotel was very good for the price and all expectations were met in terms of important areas such as comfort and cleanliness. The hotel is very welcoming and has a pleasant reception and bar area and the gentleman behind the bar on all the nights I was there was very professional. I cannot comment on the restaurant as I stayed room only as I choose personally to explore other options. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone. I loved the city and will be returning and I will stay at this hotel.

Unfortunately the bathroom in room 429 had very mouldy tiles, especially under the bath taps.The carpet needed cleaning. There was a frieze on the wall that you could see from the lift which was tearing and there were also silk plants which were very dusty. No one asked us how our stay was. Breakfast was very good.Having stayed in Pamplona, Hondarribia and San Sebastián the tapas bars were very spread out and they did not have the variety or atmosphere.

The parking was spacious and safe. The staff were excellent. The rooms were of a good size and the bathroom was well fitted. It was a little too warm in the room and the pillows were uncomfortable. Both were far too hard.
Whilst it is obvious we were in Spain, in the Hotel the menu in the restaurant was very limited in choice and very Spanish, rather than catering for a more mixed clientele. Though the sirloin steak was very tender and delicious.
Already planning to stay again next year. Great value for money.
