All was good plenty of parking don't know if its safe as its very open just luck i suppose. Not impressed with the breakfast not much choice any food that was supposed to be hot was cold no microwave, the bacon was not cooked along with the tomatoes (they were the only hot food offered)

Basic clean hotel. Had accessible room for wheelchair user but not very good. Very tight access into bathroom. Disappointed with breakfast offerings. Hotel was pretty full and by 9am lots of breakfast items not replaced. Also ice machine out of order ( was the same two weeks earlier). Not very good in the hot weather.

This is our 2nd stay at this hotel, and we loved it as much as the 1st time. We stay overnight on our way home from southern spain, and it is just off the motorway, so not out of our way. Theres plenty of parking, and as i use a mobility scooter now, theres disabled parking and ramps to help to get yourself inside. The reception area is large, and this time we were met by Jane who was very efficient, and politeful and helpful. We were given the same room as before, which is a great help as it is the first room from the dining area. The rooms are large, clean, modern and most of all, comfortable! Breakfast is buffet style, although you can order a hot breakdast if you wish, but with the very large choice we didnt. Theres fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals, toasts, breads, and an array of different jams, and also fresh cheeses and cold meats. Hot drinks are also available here too. Im usually not a buffet fan, but i love breakfast here, as everything is so fresh, in fact, i can not say anything against it!

Checked in and was given a room with two twin beds. We booked a room with a double bed. I called down and was told by the front desk agent that she would fix it. Less than a few minutes later we went downstairs and she said there were no more double rooms...? I asked how that could be and she said she was all sold out. My boyfriend stepped in to help and then miraculously they found a double bed room to put us in. The lady at the counter was a liar.

Avoid if you can.

One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. No AC in room when required, got given a noisy fan instead. Their spring was like a UK summer so to hot in the room.
Windows that only part open even though room temperature was to hot and air was needed.
Once window was opened partially you have the noise from the kids running around outside as well as the smokers talking and the smell of smoke from outside the reception entrance. Get a room at the back.
Room lighting atrocious.
Fixtures are cheap and either falling apart or not fitted properly.
Room Door looked like it had been kicked in.
Originally booked 2 nights but cancelled 2nd night, so glad I did.
Parking great.
Staff are great and try to help as best they can but still no AC.
I won’t be returning.

We stay at the Holiday Inn Express because it's in a very good location for our journey to southern Spain. The hotel is well run, clean and the staff are very helpful. The town of Vitoria is a short journey away about 5 mins where there is lots on offer. There is also plenty of parking outside the hotel. Overal good value for money

Vitoria Napoleonic reenactment weekend.

Hotel was easy to find and very well presented. Great to find a kettle and tea making facilities in room, just a little sparing with the milk though. Hotel reception was understaffed and took a long time to check in. Excellent restaurant and bar across the car park.

The hotel is ok but not great. The rooms are not as described on hotels.com as they don't have 32\" TVs only very small probably 20\"ones. ( not great when we wanted to watch the England game ) . Also they don't have tea/coffee makers. We argued with reception and they eventually found us a kettle. The excuse was removed for Covid ! There is no 'pillow menu ' either and the beds aren't that comfortable. Check in is slow with passport details needed and forms to sign. However the staff are friendly enough. Location is good, near the motorway but the only nearby restaurant is poor. Looks very modern but poor cold food. Buffet continental breakfast was nice in the hotel. Not sure we would stay again

Nothing more than I expected from Hoilday Inn

The hotel is ideal for anyone travelling south to Portugal as it is ideally placed just off the main motorway in the industrial estate area of Vitoria.

Nothing glamourous. Free parking. 24 reception which helps when you don’t know what time you’re going to get there.

Hotel room was basic. Bathroom door was falling off. Bath tap diffuser did fall out.

As we had arrived at 3am, I wasn’t going to bother to complain.

Breakfast was adequate. Flies thought so too.

I’ve stayed here a few times when on my travels and I would say this time was the worst experience.

Waiting to hear back from some clothes we had left behind. Our fault obviously. But no response after 36 hours.

Stayed here on our way to the ferry in Santander. It's a very comfortable hotel, with excellent staff, a good breakfast, and free parking outside the hotel. There is a good bar/cafe/ restaurant opposite the hotel. However this is the only alternative close to the hotel, and if you want to go into Vitoria Gasteiz your either have to drive or get a taxi, €15 each way. There is a bus but it takes 40 minutes as it picks up at all the stops. I would definitely stay there again if I am just travelling through, as it is quiet and convenient, and easy to access there main roads in and out.

Very pleasant stay.

Stopped here on our way down to Spain. Easy to find, with good, free parking in what seemed to be a safe area in front of the hotel. The hotel was very comfortable, very good wifi, comfortable quiet room, tea and coffee provided in the room. Breakfast was \"continental\", and more than adequate. Very helpful staff. The location was out of town, approximately five minutes drive by car. Across from the hotel is a popular bar and restaurant, providing good reasonably priced food. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and next time and take a taxi to see more of the town and surrounding area.

We travelled from uk to porto. So decided to stay at this place. It is ok for a one nighter. Bathroom were good. Modern.
Breakfast was awful. Everything was cold. So on our return back we going to skip the breakfast.
It is a busy hotel, guest in and out.
I wouldn't recommend it. You better of staying at san sebastian enjoying the view the beach and then onwaRd travel.

We spent the night here enroute from Madrid to Paris. Our room was small but comfortable. The rooms were very clean. There is a restaurant across the parking lot and we had a very nice dinner. The restaurant is more convenient than trying to find a restaurant in Vittorio because finding a parking place is impossible. The hotel parking is free as is the wonderful breakfast buffet. This is a real value when travelling with a family and the town is worth checking out. The ice machine was also a plus, especially for keeping things chilled in our travel cooler.

This is an excellent hotel for an overnight stop. Easily accessible on major routes and in excellent condition. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the only criticism is the lack of eating facilities for an evening meal.
We stay here regularly and will continue to do so.

I was travelling with two teen age kids and stayed a relatively long time in this hotel (9 nights). The room was OK for us, a little bit of more storage space would have been nice. The bath room was spacious, clean and nice to use. The wending machine down stairs compensated the lack of in room fridge offering a very good selection of beverages and snacks with reasonable price. The breakfast included was modest but served well it's purpose. The personnel at the hotel was very kind and helpful. For us it was a very nice stay.

Hotel is a clean, comfortable and convenient overnight stop between Spain and France. Easily found, just off the motorway. The surroundings are not wonderful, it is on an industrial estate out of town, but there is a nice cafe-bar opposite and plenty of parking. Staff are polite and helpful. Breakfast is average, but included in price. Overall, a very satisfactory stopover.

I needed a convenient stop off driving between England and the South of Spain and geographically Vittoria was suitable. The hotel was easy to find, modern and a good price. Hotel facilities were restricted presumably because it was out of season but all that was required was in the immediate vicinity. Good place.

pre-booked 1 night and asked to stay 2. Hotel was VERY quiet but wanted to charge much more money for the second nights stay! As there was no beds to change etc etc this seemed unreasonable. We bartered and got the price reduced a bit. We stayed a second night but almost didn't bother.
Wi-fi was an extra charge and the whole hotel appeared to run on a tight budget e.g 2 milks, 2 tea bags, 2 coffees in the room.

We had a very restful overnight stay followed by a really good breakfast before heading for the ferry in Bilbao. Excellent value for money. The hotel was almost brand new on the edge of an industrial estate that is being developed & on a Sunday night was very quiet. Masses of parking at the hotel.
