Lets preface my review with this is a budget option. Not everyone can handle these type. Small, older motel. You park in tight spots in front of your room. Looked like some \" long stayers\" there as well. Convenient location to get to 89. A nice grocery store walking distance. Dark room lighting and a large bathroom with dark concrete sealer as the floor covering. There was a small sink and nowhere to put your toiletries or luggage. I recommended it needs a small inexpensive table at least. Driveway pretty rough as well.

The room we reserved was their only three bed bedroom and it was not too bad. If I had complaints…it was just a few things. 1 - the third bed was in another room off the room with the two beds. It had a connecting door to another room. That door was not soundproofed in anyway shape or form! We heard almost everything the neighbors said. Cough, laugh, talk, and yell at their cat! Yes! A cat! Yelling to tell it to come here! Umm ya cats are not like dogs! Stop yelling at them to come to you! 🙄 We stayed two nights and the first night the neighbors kept me awake until almost 2am. The second night… the new neighbors were not so bad but they did not stop talking until 1am. The second night ones were not so bad. 2 - the parking lot is needing some serious TLC. 3 - needed more TP lol. We should have made sure they put some more in for us but we made it ok.😂 I do have to give the cleaning lady a huge thumbs up! She was awesome! She made sure we had fresh towels and plenty of them for the 4 of us. She was super helpful and friendly. Most of the issues I had were with the connecting door. Other than that it was not a bad stay. It had a not to bad eating place just a few steps away.. the Havana Cabana was not too bad. Would I stay again? Probably. The prices were great and within budget. Maybe next time I would leave the kids home and just take one room with two beds. But it was nice to have three so my kids each had a bed and we had one in the same room but with a bit of privacy.

This stay was horrible. I paid for 2 nights (and the additional $20/night pet fee). We left at 4 am the first night because it was so bad.

We didn't get to the room until around 10 pm. We both badly needed showers from the day's activities and a good night's sleep. The water was lukewarm at best. The faucet was unattached and barely hanging on. When I pushed down the plunger to stop the shower, it fell into about 6 pieces. My husband tried to put it back together so that he could shower, but didn't have the tools.

They put us in another room which was worse than the first. The carpets were so dirty and it smelled like dirty socks. Two sets of unmatched curtains partially covered the window, but not enough for privacy.

But the worst feature of all was the bed. You literally couldn't move so much as an inch without it creaking loudly, and the entire bed shook every time. It was literally making me feel like motion sickness. We never got a minute's sleep, so we packed up and left.

I have NEVER left a review like this. All I ask for is cleanliness, safety and a good mattress. This place needs some care and it's not getting any.

I’ve stayed at this motel several times while visiting my grandbaby. I’ve always loved it, it’s always been very easy to access and the front desk man has always been very easy to speak with. Unfortunately, this time I stayed more than one night. My husband and I stayed there for four days with almost 0 hot water. I spoke with the man at the desk and he told me to just “ turn the knob a little bit” as opposed to sending somebody to the room as I requested. It did not work, we did not have anything more than lukewarm water. On our second to last day, the toilet broke. Instead of sending someone to fix that they gave us instructions on how to pull the chain from the plug inside the toilet tank to flush the toilet. I was super disappointed. Unfortunately, we will have to be finding another place when I go down to see my grandbaby twice a month.

This place is a little sketchy. The pictures definitely look better than the condition of the property actually is but it was clean! If you just need a place to close your eyes for a few hours the sheets are clean and the bed and pillows are comfortable but this won’t be a repeat stay for us.

These people are the nicest and most helpful in all of Kanab. I arrived late, no problem and this time I needed more time before checking out, no problem he says. I also brought my dog with me this time and Yes, they are a pet friendly hitel. Parking is easy, shopping for a ewthings was easy to walk to. The rooms were clean and sparkling and the cleaning lady Shannon had no problem giving me extra towels. I simple love this place. The beds are so comfortable too, Thank you so mch for everything!

The room was spotless and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful. I enjoy the beauty of Kanab and this hotel makes you feel at home. There is parking in front of your room, and no stairs. They have a laundry room and you can BBQ too!

Everyone is so nice and helpful with anything you ask. The rooms smell and look so good. The housekeeper is kind and goes out of her way to make my stay nice. They are a pet friendly hotel and have easy parking.
The hotel has a old country style and the staff make you feel at home and comfortable.

I got to meet Shannon and Karen. Also the Boss that works in the office. They are the most pleasant you could ever meet. If you needed anything they are right there to help accommodate you. The next time I go to kanab I'm staying at redrockcountry inn. I really enjoyed my 3 days I spent there. It was a lot of fun and they have reasonable prices.

The staff is very friendly and their cleaning lady was very kind and helpful. There are so many outdoor activities like the Coral Pink Sand Dunes! It was affordable, the rooms are clean and rustic looking, beds are comfortable and you get to park your car right in front of your door. My dogs were happy too ☺️

I always stay here when I travel through Kanab twice a year. It’s dog friendly and the owner is extremely nice. I feel safe here too. It is nothing fancy, but my room was big and the bathroom was extremely big. My only complaint were the curtains were torn, and it was hard to keep prying eyes out. Bed was comfortable and I love having a refrigerator, freezer and microwave.

The staff are awesome, very friendly and helpful. The beds and bathroom were clean. The carpet and front door look like they haven’t been cleaned in years. The air conditioner and refrigerator make a ridiculous amount of noise. The location to Zion National Park is really nice. There is a grocery store right next to the hotel that stays open past 9, very convenient. If you want a working TV be prepared to be disappointed, but the front desk said if it was a problem they would come and fix it. We didn’t need it.

It’s not the nice western style atmosphere you’d expect by looking at the pictures. This was Sturgis weekend so, it seemed bikers had the priority. The parking spot at the lobby door, designated for incoming guests, was packed with motorcycles that customers had to maze through to get to the lobby doors. They had warning signs for smoking and pets, $250.00 per violation yet, the whole damn building, including inside the rooms, reeked of smoke.

The pool, yes open, was absolutely disgusting. My kids and I after a long day of being in the car, were excited to utilize, the steps were covered in scum, and the shallow pool you couldn’t even see anywhere near the bottom. As for our room, the floor was so filthy we refused to not wear shoes. The bathroom which was weirdly divided between the room -shower and toilet in one area- and sink in a far place. The toilet was within an arms reach of my pillow. There was one clean towel that we could use for anything. Thankfully we only stayed a night and didn’t need anything else. There was a filthy wash cloth hanging in the closet. Clearly used, and hung to dry with staining. Pillows were thinner than the blankets. Everytime we walked outside the other guests were bombarding the classified as family friendly place with cigarette smoke to the point we could barely stand to leave the room. The man running the desk was rude, and refused my military identification as an adequate ID and argued it. I was also questioned severely about my service animal. Cheap, but not worth that disgusting atmosphere and behavior of this place.

First off the room wasn’t the room that I booked. The curtains had holes in them. The carpet had black spots all over it. The sink didn’t have enough room for anything. Room had just been painted and masking tape still covered door lock. TV and phone did not work and manager could not fix. Ice machine broken and cooler containing ice was empty. Had to ask that it be refilled. Paid the extra $20 for dog fee but parking lot was so full of sand burrs she could only take a few steps before I had to remove the burrs from her feet.

This is a dilapidated motel with no staff, supplies or service. Not enough hot water, pool not only out of service, but surrounded with trash. Ice machine out of service and full of dirt. Unsightly stains on carpet and drapes. Big, cement cigarette ashtray right outside my room filled with butts. My room and the pillows smelled like an ashtray. I had an asthma attack. Not a good choice

Very happy with our short stay

Our long driving day had us arriving around 1 in the morning. After speaking to the front desk on the phone, we were able to expedite our check-in to get into our room quickly.

Overall, the room was comfortable. You could tell that the hotel was per-friendly, but it didn’t smell or stink like animals unless you got on the ground (I lost my glasses at one point and checked under the bed, which had been destroyed by a cat from a previous tenant).

A motel of contradictions. Beds were clean and very comfortable. Clean towels provided, yet no hot water. Room cleanliness itself was poor. Dirty carpets and remnants of this and that under beds and behind furniture makes you wonder. OVERALL this hotel is poorly maintained. Leaking roof with buckets and towels upon check-in. No ice. No coffowners are not re-investing anything back.

The check in was easy, the bedding was nice and fresh, but the room itself needed a good cleaning. The curtains and rod were falling off the wall, and the Direct TV remote control wasn't paired to the TV so we could not watch anything. We had planned on staying an additional night, but it wasn't worth the price, even the value price we paid.

Room was not restocked with glasses or TP, had 1 facecloth(there were 2 of us) and 1 hand towel. . I got the TP but didn't realize about the rest till later and too tired to go back so lived without. The curtains did not close properly to keep the outdoor lights out of the room for sleeping.
I wrote on my request that we wanted a table and he did see that we had a table and 1 chair. Worked well for us-one sat on the bed. We have dinner in our room.
Reasonably priced. Though I was to have a choice of payment, my credit had already been put through when I was checking in. He did void the payment so I could pay cash but since it is advertised as payment being collected upon arrival, I think he should wait till check in esp. since I wrote as a request that I wanted to pay cash.

Cool spot, nice folks running the place. Had to skip out a night early but the place was adequate. Nice thing is its only 30 mins from the east entrance of Zion and I rolled through the park with 0 traffic. West entrance did not look fun. Will say the place could use some updates and for pet rooms, why not just remove the carpet completely if you are not going to clean it. For the price and staff she's 4 stars, but if you are looking for something fancy this is not your spot. It's a great motel for what it is, just manage your expectations.

We had the most uncomfortable stay in this room. There were 3 beds. The two in the living room looked like they were full/double. The queen bed was in a room on the side. The door to the queen bedroom didn't close easily. The bathroom door was a pocket door that squeaked something awful. The ceiling was falling apart. There is no breakfast included at this hotel. We wouldn't likely stay here again.

The inn is old and needs remodelling and restructuring. Old carpet. Low quality linens (blankets and pillows), curtains, and hand soap. The water was cold. No breakfast included (despite listed on the property), no good TV channels.
The staff were helpful. The lady who did the checkin for us, changed immediately our room TV that was broken with a new one.

We liked the fact that they have put in low flush shower and toilet and double paned windows. The control in the shower was not working properly and neither was the heater but we believe the heater will be fixed shortly. The worst thing was how long it took to get hot water. So much water wasted and though water has always been precious,these days we know that we are running out of water worldwide.
