There is no air conditioning at the property, in fact any setting in the room only produces heat! The staff did not tell me this, so I spent the first 15 minutes heating a room when it was already 25°C. I had to have my window open. This lead to many, many insect bites, which is not surprising given the location. The staff need to warn guests about this before they arrive so they can bring feet. I could not sleep during the night.

I arrived to check in and the hotel was shut. Staff arrived after a phone call within 10 minutes though. Room was adequate for my needs. Toilet flush was broken. Nice area and close to buses and trains. Bilbao is possible in just over an hour by public transport

The staff was well above excellent. I am planning on staying there when I return to visit in the fall of 2025. This time with my family in tow. If you want a quiet hotel near all the coastal towns and Gernika, I highly recomeend it.

Hotel Ibaigune is een goed hotel voor 1 nacht als je op doorreis bent, niet om meerdere dagen te verblijven. het ligt aan een drukke 80km weg. (die niet op de foto staat, maar heel duidelijk hoorbaar is) Het restaurant sluit om 19 uur, behalve op zaterdag als het verhuurd wordt voor feesten en partijen tot diep in de nacht.

La première chambre était mal nettoyée. Il y avait beaucoup de poussière sous les lit et nous avons trouvé des chaussettes sales dans le tiroir d'une des table de nuit. Le robinet de la douche ne fonctionnait pas bien, la douche a d'ailleurs lâché le lendemain matin. La réceptionniste nous a déménagé dans une nouvelle chambre.
Le petit déjeuner est composé de produits de basse qualité. Le beurre était périmé depuis plusieurs jours. Le jambon de volaille était présenté sur un simple plateau de plastique, sans réfrigération ni protection contre la poussière et les mouches.
Notre sentiment était de résider dans un établissement sans moyen, laissant le personnel démuni face au clients. Les propriétaires doivent sérieusement relever le niveau et renforcer le staff.

Llegamos a las 13,45h y no había nadie en recepción, había un cartel en la puerta que indicaba el horario hasta las 14,30h y un tlf al que llamar, y lo hice, el recepcionista (muy amable), me indicó que cogiera la llave del armario, sírvase usted mismo.
En ese momento estaban las limpiadoras haciendo las habitaciones, y una de ella a voces estaba soltando improperios según hablaba por tlf.
A la entrada del hotel, nos llamó la atención un cenicero lleno a rebosar de colillas (esto como carta de presentación).
La habitación en sí no estaba mal, no funcionaba el aire acondicionado. El cuarto de baño muy muy antiguo, nos duchamos con chanclas, más por lo viejo de la bañera, que porque estuviera sucia, aunque daba esa sensación.
Es una pena, porque el hotel está en enclave muy bonito, aunque necesita de una reforma urgente.
No lo recomendaría a nadie, y tampoco volvería.

La suciedad, los techos llenos de telarañas, y los hongos en el baño hicieron la estancia muy incómoda, y eso que solo estuvimos el tiempo de dormir.
La insonorización es muy débil, se oye hasta la vibración y tono de los mensajes del móvil de la habitación de al lado.
Además la señalización del hotel es muy pobre, me pasé la entrada incluso yendo despacio.
Como pros decir que la cama es bastante cómoda, las vistas muy buenas, cuenta con bastante parking gratis y el personal es muy amable.

Toda la noche sin dormir por lo incómodo del colchón, se clavaban todos los muelles, además de un frío terrible.
El sistema de calefacción es bomba de calor desde sistema de conducto de aire, ni aún teniéndolo lo más fuerte la habitación se calentaba, ademas de que hacia un ruido terrible. Había un calefactor eléctrico que calentaba pero no caldeaba una habitación tan grande. Ese sistema solo era útil para el baño.
La limpieza…pues bueno… había polvo por todas partes, no quise mirar mucho para no seguir escandalizándome.
Lo único bueno: el desayuno, pero solo faltaba que no estuviera bien por 6€ por persona…

Bastante pobre, agregan un cargo por mascotas que no aparece al reservar el hotel, me pareció un abuso.. el de recepción me indicó en la pagina (no al contratar, sino información general aparecía: Haciendo scroll, seis páginas para abajo (esta claro que no lo ponen claramente, al principio, no al calcular costes para que no lo descarten por precio). Por el precio total que finalmente pagué: 70 € habría elegido otro establecimiento.

Sucio, desastroso, no se corresponde con un hotel
Al llegar nos atendio la señora de la limpieza. Al llegar a la habitación el suelo estaba sucio, la ventana rota y no se podia cerrar, la alfombrilla del baño sucia y moho en las cortinas. Bajamos a quejarnos y no habia nadie, ni llamando al timbre, asi que nos echamos la siesta y bajamos más tarde. Tampoco habia nadie en recepción, decidimos llamar a los telefonos y salio la chica de recepción con el bocado en la boca a las 17h y diciendo que no era su hora pero que nos atendía.
