I had a fabulous stay at this hotel! The location, the front desk reception staff, my room, the spa, breakfast - all excellent!! I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to stay again in the future!! BtW - very pet friendly. My dogs loved it too!

Wonderful stay at this amazing hotel! Perfect location and beautiful beach. Room was super clean and very spacious. Right opposite the private beach, but you still have to pay to use sunloungers and no concession for staying at the hotel. I paid between €25 for half day fourth row to €60 for first and second row. The hotel is dated but comfortable. A/C worked great till the cleaner opened the window and I couldn’t work out why it had stopped. Bed was very comfy. Staff - some were very helpful, others couldn’t have cared less. Overall a ok stay simply because I could walk over to b

Katia at the front desk was great! My minimal use of Italian was fine because she spoke excellent English to explain check-in and the hotel's services. The room was well appointed and balcony overlooking the beach perfect! Hotel seemed to cater to older folks and repeat guests which was fine because we wanted a quiet spot and this was the place. Great location and walking distance to everything in Alassio. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, lunch at the beach restaurant quick, relaxing and delicious, and all the hotel and restaurant staff were very nice and accommodating. Noticed other guest reviews complaining about having to pay for beach chairs & umbrellas - knowing that is how it works in Italy that didn't bother us. Its an optional service. We had only intended on staying one night but luckily Katia found us accommodations for the second night, despite hotel being sold out on line. I highly recommend this property for a great stay in Alassio!

Wonderful time here for two nights in January.I have stayed here several times and it never disappoints Check in was very good fast friendly .We had a lovely sea view room which was really comfortable,the bed was comfortable and bathroom well equipped.The whole Hotel is clean and well appointed.Staff are very professional and helpful Breakfast was very good ,a good choice of hot and cold food and lovely fresh fruit and breads. I highly recommend this hotel. In great area and because of time of year parking free and easily found , not the case in summer!

Great stay. Excellent location and very helpful staff. I was disappointed that the beach closed early and opened late in the morning as that meant we had very little time on the lovely private beach. Local public beach is very close so not a major problem. We shall definitely return. Lovely sea view. No major issues at all.

A very personal hotel with great service and atmosphere, located by the beach and close to the bars and restaurants. The staff was very service minded. The breakfast was outstanding! We were lucky to get an upgrade with view over the sea and the mountains. Our best recommendations for a visit in Alassio.

Lovely room pity about the rest.

Check in was good. We were given an upgrade do we had a lovely room. Breakfast was ok but nothing great. We were charged €20 for our 2 small dogs at check out.
We were told this was for a cleaning fee. Highway robbery!!! We left the room spotless.
Also this information was not on hotels.com on my booking page. Not impressed at all. Spoilt our weekend.

Nice hotel esp. location, outside breakfast gazebo was great.For a 4 star hotel in Italy, food was below par, except for pastry .We found the room for 2 people quite small and our window was looking at scaffolding. TV tiny .Lobby decoration not same as add.

Good value right at the beach.

Alassio turned out to be a gem on the Italian Riviera and this hotel was right at the beach. The room was clean and adequate. THE WiFi worked well. The hotel staff was friendly and fluent in English . Breakfast was very good. Parking was available for 20 Euros per night. I would recommend this hotel and Alassio to anyone travelling along the Italian Riviera.

Had to complain at 1,2 +5 in the morning about the lightshade and wardrobe doors shaking because of heavy stomping from room above. Reception couldnt change my room and assured me the people were leaving next day. Next 3 days exactly the same.

My friend and I really enjoyed our week in Alassio, it's a great place to go for sun, sea, sand, pizza and wine! Our hotel room was big enough for two people, with a really nice big double bed (which we discovered at the end of our trip was two single beds pushed together, but we hadn't noticed!) Nice bathroom as well but really bad hair dryer - not good if you have long, thick hair like my friend and I! No swimming pool, massages are really expensive (at least 50 euros), and 20 euros a day to use the beach, down to 12.50 euros if you want to go after 2pm (I've stayed in a different hotel in Alassio before where it was 10 euros after 2pm). Lovely to have no English people there either!

Lovely Hotel located beachside. Excellent breakfast.
The only negative aspect of our stay was the charge the Hotel made for the use of the beach facilities. They charged €44 per day for the use of an umbrella, 2 sun beds and towels which we felt was a complete rip off. As the Hotel doesn't have a pool we felt they took the opportunity to overcharge for above.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Alassio's Fawlty Towers

Arrived first day, could not find air conditioning. Called reception, will send someone. 3 days later no sign of anyone. Lucky we found the air conditioning hidden behind a pile of furniture in the corner,
4* hotel with private beach. Forgot to mention that the beach costs an extra €35 per day to use!
Car park costs €20 per day extra
Last day, woke at 7 to get early start to airport. No hot water for showers! No staff till 8:00am!
9:10 ask for car to be delivered back. 9:30 not back yet and were are now late for airport! 9:35 car delivered back damaged so have to wait for the manager (Basil Fawlty personified!) . No apology, but one day car park free! now we are really late and have to rush to airport to get our flight. As a result, no time to refuel hire car so penalised another €56 by car hire for refueling!
All in all, avoid this claimed 4*, it would struggle to make 2* in the UK! A complete shambles.

The only good side is the restaurant with very helpful and friendly waiting staff

It is a nice hotel but the main problem was I paid extra for a sea view room but didn't get a sea view. The room was forward facing but only on the 1st floor, you could barely see the sea at all because of the trees in front of the hotel!

Nowhere to sit and read except * in the bedroom where the chair was a bit uncomfortable being not designed for that * or in the bar which is not suitable for reading *or in the garden which is good in daylight but not in the evening.
Otherwise a nice hotel and very helpful staff.

L'hôtel et très bien, situé à 10 minutes à pied de la zone piétonne
Il est positionné sur la promenade directement sur la mer. Vous devez juste sortir de l'hôtel pour vous retrouver en quelques secondes au bord de la mer
L'accueil est agréable et le personnel est là pour faciliter votre arrivée et votre séjour

La chambre que nous avions choisie était au 5eme étage, ce qui permet de ne pas avoir les arbres devant la vue mer
La vue est impressionnante
La chambre est spacieuse, la literie excellente, et le linge de maison, très agréable
Dans la salle de bains, tous les produits dont vous avez besoin sont à votre disposition

Le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffets est très complet, est délicieux

Le menu proposé au dîner est très varié, et les plats sont excellents
Il y a également un bar pour relaxer
À cette période, la plage privée n'est pas ouverte
Je recommande vivement cet hôtel pour un séjour au bord de la mer à Alassio

Das Hotel hat seine besten Zeiten definitiv hinter sich. Aber das war mir aufgrund gewisser Bewertungen und auch aufgrund des Preises schon klar. Die „richtigen“ Gran Hotels sind viel teurer, geben aber massiv mehr her (hatte diese aber nur von aussen gesehen). Also halt wie immer „you get what you pay for“. In meinem Zimmer (es kam wohl vom Badezimmer) war echt ein fürchterlicher Geruch. Das Personal ist aber sehr freundlich.

Hotel affacciato su una delle migliori spiagge di Alassio con bagno privato con ottimo servizio di ristorazione sulla spiaggia. Struttura ben tenuta, camere non grandi ma confortevoli, sopratutto il letto, ed abbastanza silenziose.ottima colazione e personale attento e gentile oltre che molto disponibile. Sicuramente è un ottimo soggiorno comodo e piacevole quindi sicuramente consigliato.

Gut gelegenes Hotel, nur über die Strasse zum Strand. Zimmer gut, viele nur Meersicht, kein Balkon. Frühstückbuffet klein. Frische Früchte, nur Scheibenkäse, keine Pecorino, Camenbert oder so. Pressschinken nicht fein geschnitten wie für Italien gewohnt. Nur einfache Kuchen. Schade, für ein 4 Sterne Hotel ist besseres zu erwarten. Preis, Leistungsverhältnis zu teuer.

Nice old 4 star hotel with quite central location. Practically on the beach - and with spa.
As for most of the hotels in central Alassio, parking might be a challenge in the high season. ÷ on comfort since airco is date driven - not temperature. Good breakfast.

Pool was closed when asked about it upon arrival. Probably due to lower season but no info regarding it. After some discussion they agreed we could use the jacuzzi in the spa for one hour.

Sofa bed was a disaster, too small for two ppl and crooked/broken.
Would need a general renovation or touch up.

Used valet service, no problems.

Have to highlight the fantastic breakfast and amazing view from the room balcony.

Très jolie chambre cependant le canapé lit est vraiment à revoir, le matelas est minuscule et l’épaisseur du matelas convient uniquement à un enfant vraiment petit. Je trouve ça un peu limite pour un 4 étoiles.
Idem pour la piscine qui est payant 10€ par personne.
A part cela très bon petit déjeuner et super emplacement.

Die Lage des Hotel direkt am Strand ist toll.
Das Frühstück an der Promenade war auch super.

Die Kosten für die Liegen ond den Sonnenenschirm sind aber zu hoch.
Ausserdem kommen noch Parkplatzkosten dazu.

Härligt hotell med charm och mycket fin och vänlig service precis vid stranden i underbara Alassio! Lite gammaldags inredning, sköna sängar, rent och fint. Lite synd att det var så dyrt att boka solstolar, trodde kanske att det skulle ingå i priset. Men det är högsäsong så det kanske är svårt att undvika! Rekommenderar detta fina hotell!

Le problème d’avoir une chambre supérieure avec le vue sur mer comme prévu dans la réservation.
J’ai demandé le changement pour être en phase avec la réservation.
Mes affaires il fallait de transférer entre deux chambre, mission presque impossible. Ça a pris deux ou plus. C’était donc compliqué de s’installer.
Tout est payant en plus, la place de parking, la piscine d’une 1,30. L’accès à la plage, les animaux. Pourtant, il s’agit d’un hôtel de 4 étoiles, 253 euros/nuit.

Séjour gaché chambres vue sur chantier et tracteur

Très mauvais accueil et mauvaise gestion de la réception à l’arrivée et au départ : réservations faites il y a plusieurs semaines de 3 chambres dont 2 supérieures avec balcon vue sur mer et 1 classique vue partielle sur mer. A notre arrivée , malheureusement en même temps qu’un gros groupe de course de cyclistes professionnels, nous avons été déclassés par rapport aux réservations initiales: 2 chambres avec vue sur un chantier avec grues,tracteurs et bruits des travaux, pour des personnes âgées de 80ans!!! Nous n’avons pas été avertis à l’avance de ces nuisances par l’hôtel, auquel cas nous n’aurions jamais réservé dans cet hôtel .Cela fait 8 ans que nous venons régulièrement et que nous faisons les mêmes réservations, et nous avons été très déçus cette fois ci. Face à nos réclamations, on nous a proposé la même chose un étage plus haut, en disant qu’il y aurait moins de bruit et que le chantier démarrait tard.Même cafouillage au check out:on nous a demandé pourquoi nous étions passés par un site de voyage au lieu de les contacter directement, que les appellations des chambres avaient changées et n’avaient pas été mises à jour sur le site…À chaque fois les réceptionnistes nous refilaient à un nouvel interlocuteur. Aucun geste commercial pour ces désagréments.Très décevant, c’est la 1ere fois que je laisse un avis aussi négatif, à part la gentillesse du service au petit déjeuner, tout notre séjour de 48h a été gâché.

Très bon séjour, un accueil agréable, personnel souriant, chambre confortable, très propre, spacieuse, silencieuse. Vue mer avec balcon, c’était super. Salle de bain spacieuse, grande douche. On a même profité du spa .

grosses , gemütliches Zimmer und Bad. Eher ringhörig. Wasserhahn am Lavabo hat ständig Wasser verloren. Frühstück sehr gut. Strand und Restaurant/ Dusche einzigartig schön. Meer sehr sauber und Stühle weit auseinander- top!

Séjour entre amis hôtel adapté à notre week-end, en face de la plage et proche des boutiques. Grand chambre avec matelas et oreillers trop fermes pour nous. Gentillesse de tous les personnels. Pdj a volonté servi par des serveurs adorables. Buffet Qualité des produits moyenne. Rapport qualité/prix parfait

Très bel hotel, confortable

Très bel hôtel, bien placé et grand confort des chambres.
nous l'avions choisi pour son spa, sa salle de sport et sa piscine.
malheureusement : SPA 50 € par personne, et peu de disponibilité, piscine fermée et salle de sport non accessible, c'est dommage.
petit déjeuner copieux et de grande qualité.

L'hotel gode di una straordinaria posizione e di una bellissima spiaggia privata (da prenotare e pagare a parte) con servizio bar e ristorazione. Camera spaziosa ed accogliente, ho dovuto impostare la climatizzazione al minimo perché rumorosa. Nella media la colazione con meravigliosa vista mare e con piacevole musica dal vivo. Ristorante con piatti buoni, con impronta più casalinga che da hotel a 4 stelle, e con un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Personale gentile e cortese. Nel complesso è stato un soggiorno piacevole.

Es ist zu informieren, ob es sich um ein Zimmer mit Meer- oder Bergsicht handelt. Bei diesem Preis gehört mindestens ein Wasserkochen, besser eine Kaffeemaschine aufs Zimmer!!!
