This location is undoubtedly at the heart of Mardin and offers a central and convenient setting. However, parking is a significant challenge, especially on weekends, and I would recommend visiting on weekdays if possible. The facility is in need of maintenance, particularly the bathroom, which was not in acceptable condition during my visit. Overall, while the location is excellent, the lack of proper parking and upkeep detracts from the experience.

Personnel does not speak English. Room is cold, except just under the ac. No heating in bathroom. Freezing. Internet sketchy. I lost hours of work and even to co tact the help desk I needed to restart several times, each time with another agent, due to connection, and from scratch. Noise from other rooms and guests with kids in dining room. No one is there to tell them. My friend ran away after 1 night. No housekeeping during stay, only when I insisted once. Cigarette smell from stiff towels. Phone disconnected in room. I had to run to the sleepy, non English speaking receptionist every time in the open, freezing and windy corridors and flights of stairs. No replnishment of buffet

It was terrible. Bed sheets were stained, toilets needed repaired. We requested, but they still didn't repaired. No room cleaning. They had nice pictures on their website, don't be fooled with them. Pricey. A two star hotel could be cleaner and nicer than this so called ( konak ? ) hotel.

Rooms with views may not have them
We reserved a Standard Triple room that supposedly has a \"city view.\" The city view is not from the room, it is from the terrace. We switched to a slightly smaller and cheaper Panoramic Room, which has a view. The manager said we would need to pay 25 Euros additional to switch. After a long discussion, the manager allowed us to switch. I told him he needs to correct the information about the view, because it is misleading.
Other than the above, we were happy with the room, the location, and the hotel itself. It is a charming old mansion that has been nicely transformed into a hotel. The hotel is quiet at night and the rooms are far from traffic noise.
The hotel was able to park my car on the street and I appreciated that. Parking is a nightmare in old Mardin.
The breakfast was good and the restaurant staff appears to be practicing COVID precautionary measures.

Beautiful hotel in historic city. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. As an English speaker there was a bit of a language barrier but that is ok and was expected going in. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast seemed just so so but I was coming off a stomach virus acquired in Istanbul so maybe nothing was that appetizing for me. Maybe better for couples or family, I was solo. Overall a pleasant stay.

Kahvaltı vasat denilecek kadar kötü. Tuvalet ve banyo oda içerisinde duşa kabin şeklinde. Bu fiyata çok daha iyi otellerde kalınabilir. Fiyat performans açısından kesinlikle tavsiye etmiyorum.

Merkezde ve dar bir caddede olması nedeniyle otopark oldukça sıkıntılı, ancak Nurettin Bey sayesinde rent a car yaptığımız 2 gün boyunca bunu hiç hissetmedik. Odalar gayet temiz, manzara olağanüstü. Günün her saati terasa oturup bir şeyler içerek ova manzarasını seyretmek bir ayrıcalık. Tam anlamıyla memnun kalarak otelden ayrıldık.
