Service was great. Staff handled check-in issue well after we were given the wrong room.
The biggest downside was the noise. There was loud music from 8:30-11:00 PM every night, which was NOT disclosed in the hotel description. The rooms and windows are not sound proof, and the noise was very disturbing. The hotel should limit the hours of loud music or clearly state this beforehand.

Beautiful Hotel, Wonderful Staff
My partner and I stayed in the king suite, Maridin Room. It was a gorgeously appointed room and the hammam themed barhroom was delightful! The real crowning jewel was the palatial terrace. We felt like royalty being able to relax out there looking over the Mesopotamian plains. The staff were very patient and helpful with us using translation apps, as neither of us spoke much Turkish or Kurdish. While few of them spoke any english, we got along without any trouble. They were very kind! I highly recommend staying here!

The location of the hotel is great and the experience of staying in a historical building is also very nice. It is very pleasant to listen to live local music at dinner every day of the week in the unique view of Mesopotamia and Mardin Castle. It would be nice to renew the hotel furniture. Hotel is beautiful and well worth the price. Clean, safe and and delicious food at the rooftop restaurant, which provided a beautiful view. I loved that there is valet parking available despite it being such a small space to park. Valet men were very kind and professional. I really enjoyed the complimentary 24/7 chai/coffee available on site. Special shout out to Muhammad Bansi in the rooftop restaurant for always being so welcoming, kind and professional. Also, special thanks to Muhammad and Ahmed (young Syrian brothers) and to Muhammad (young Turkish man) in the cafe downstairs for being so incredibly nice, helpful and kind. These four men really made my stay memorable and special and went above and beyond. Thanks to Nejbir for calling my car rental agency twice and for being so helpful in giving recommendations. Promote them, please. The one downside of the hotel is that they advertised laundry services being available at the hotel, when this is untrue. There was no laundry or dry-cleaning service provided. The hotel should remove this \"fact\" from their hotels.com page as it is false information.

An amazing place to stay! The hotel is a historic building and the rooms are very comfortable and clean, built in a beautiful Ottoman style with a fantastic view over the ancient city of Mardin. The staff were also really friendly and helpful, helping us park our car and telling us the best places to go. Highly recommended.

Historic building, lots of character, perfect location, excellent food, friendly staff. No Wi-Fi, but didn’t miss it much as there’s lots to see and do. The restaurant has live music and events as well. Although we didn’t attend, we were impressed at how quiet our room was despite all the events happening there at the same time. We enjoyed it very much and staying there made our 20th anniversary holiday all the more special. Many thanks to the staff!

This was a 1,400 year old building that has been updated and renovated into a very, very nice hotel. It has a great view of the Mesopotamian plain from several spots, including a restaurant. We watched the sunrise come up over Mesopotamia and it was magical. We were lucky enough to sit with Levent the owner of the hotel and had a great discussion about SE Turkey

This place was wonderful and beautiful! It’s a lot bigger than what I had imagined. The staff was very friendly. Mete speaks wonderful English and was very helpful to me. The air conditioners work great which is a definite must have for Mardin this time of the year. The place is in an excellent location.

Konaklamamız mükemmele yakındı. Odalar eski binaya göre iyiydi. Odalardaki halılar kaldırılırsa daha temiz ve şık olur.

Bu otelde geçirdiğimiz zaman gerçekten harika geçti! Öncelikle, personel inanılmaz derecede misafirperver ve yardımcıydı. Otele adım attığımız andan itibaren kendimizi evimizde gibi hissettik. Odamız geniş ve oldukça rahattı, özellikle manzara muazzamdı. Sabah kahvaltısı ise taze ve lezzetliydi; çeşitli seçeneklerle güne enerjik bir başlangıç yaptık. Otelin lokasyonu da oldukça merkeziydi, gezilecek yerlere kolayca ulaşabildik. Ayrıca oteldeki spa ve yüzme havuzunun kalitesi gerçekten yüksek. Tüm bu olanaklar, tatilimizi unutulmaz kıldı. Eine wunderbare Unterkunft, wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Man bot uns sogar ein Upgrade auf ein Zimmer mit Hamam und einer riesigen Terrasse mit märchenhaftem Blick auf die mesopotamische Ebene und die Altstadt von Mardin an. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und familiär.
Man sollte unbedingt an der ‚Sıra Gecesi’, die jeden Abend im hauseigenen Restaurant Hamdani stattfindet, teilnehmen. Das Essen in dem Restaurant war ebenfalls exzellent.

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, einige Tage im Hotel Maridin in Mardin zu verbringen, und kann es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
Schon bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen. Das Personal war außerordentlich hilfsbereit – besonders Serif, der sich um unser Gepäck kümmerte und unser Auto sicher auf den hoteleigenen Parkplatz fuhr. Seine Unterstützung hat unseren Aufenthalt von Anfang an stressfrei gestaltet.
Das Hotel ist nicht nur wunderschön, sondern auch bestens ausgestattet. Ein Babybett wurde uns umgehend bereitgestellt, ohne dass wir danach fragen mussten – ein toller Service!
Ein besonderes Lob gilt auch an Frau Bahar an der Rezeption.
Sie hat uns herzlich begrüßt, war beim Check-out sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns auch bei der Reservierung eines Restaurants am Abend geholfen. Ihre Freundlichkeit und Professionalität haben unseren Aufenthalt besonders angenehm gemacht.
Insgesamt kann ich sagen, dass das Hotel Maridin in jeder Hinsicht überzeugt – vom erstklassigen Service über das schöne Ambiente bis hin zur zentralen Lage in Mardin.

I had a wonderful experience in Maridin hotel during my visit to Mardin. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived.
