For a four star hotel it left a lot to be desired. Staff on the whole uninterested. Carpet on the third floor appeared to have several disgusting stains. The bar and reception only manned by one member of staff which lead to obtaining a drink or service from the bar rather difficult. To cap it all after a meal in the restaurant I woke up violently sick with food poisoning! Nothing to recommend.

Was expecting significantly better from a 4 star hotel. There were huge cobwebs in the corners of the rooms, the shelves in the wardrobe were covered in dust, the shower head was mouldy and the inside of the mini-fridge was also moudly. We asked for a different room, which was slightly better but still had similar cleanliness issues.
One night we arrived back to the hotel around 4 am and found the main gates closed and nobody answering the door bell. We tried to call the reception's phone number which seemed to be off service as well. Eventually someone came by who also tried to enter and was willing to climb over the fence to alert someone at the reception to open the gates. When we entered the reception nobody was around to explain the situation.

Cavaillon Stay

Out of town, with no transport needed to book taxis to Cavaillon. Also Pool was not operational, and no English TV.
Restaurant staff's English was limited, as was the menu, We stayed for 4 nights,but my French is also Limited so awkward at times, drinks expensive.
Maybe a Shuttle bus into Cavaillon a couple of times a day could be considered,

Dieses Hotel ist eher ein 1-2 Sterne Hotel.
Schmutzige Teppiche in den Gängen. Alte Ausstattung. Wasser im Bad floss nicht ab. Das Bett sehr weich und unbequem. Laute Klimaanlage mit Geräuschen die Nachts einen nicht schlafen lassen.

La nuit est agréable quand on peut accéder à sa chambre. En effet nous avons attendu plus de 20 min avant de réussir à nous faire ouvrir le portail en rentrant de notre soirée. D’autre part à notre arrivée on nous a renseigné sur les chambres d’amis en nous donnant les mauvais numéros de chambre. Le personnel à la réception manque sans doute de formation ou de motivation ?

Payer ce prix là pour ça … grosse déception. La prestation aurait été très bien pour un ibis rouge mais pour un mercure c’est décevant !
Chambre petite, portes de chambre qui ferment mal et par conséquent font un bruit fou, toilettes pas séparées de la salle de bains, la chambre chauffée a 25 degrés à notre arrivée…
Le pire ? La literie POURRIE !
Matelas tellement usé qu’on roule la nuit, et deux matelas de 90 collés sans avoir un drap housse de 180, ça fait que les deux matelas se séparent et donc qu’il faut se lever la nuit pour les recoller…
Bref très mauvaise nuit, personne pour nous demander comment s’est passée la nuit.
Heureusement le petit déjeuner est sympa avec du choix.

standing Mercure mais problème de télé

L'hôtel est en périphérie de Cavaillon, idéal comme pied à terre pour faire les attractions de la région ( Gordes , Roussillon, baux de Provence etc..)
La chambre est confortable mais la première nuit a été difficile car on ne sait pas trop pourquoi , la télé s'allumait toute seule dans la nuit presque toutes les 45 minutes, la direction n' a pas trouvé la solution , et pour dormir tranquille les nuits suivantes , on a dû disjoncté l'électricité !
Sinon le lobby est très agréable et le petit déjeuner est bon .
Nous avons eu l'occasion de diner 2 fois au restaurant : il est gastronomique et excellent et le cadre est plaisant que ce soit en intérieur ou en extérieur. Quant à la piscine , des travaux de rénovation sont nécessaires car la plage périphérique est abimée . Au total , un bon hôtel mais le jugement a été altéré par le problème de télé.

Quelle honte... Cet hôtel est vieillissant et dans un état d'hygiène déplorable... A notre arrivée l'air dans les couloirs était irrespirable chargé de relents d'égouts et de fosse septique... Nous avons du demander un changement de chambre... Pour nous retrouver avec les mêmes odeurs... Savamment masquées par une bombe aérosol désodorisante... Et une chasse d'eau en panne...
