i really like the fact the localisation was close to my event However the room looks very old and the staffs were rude as i am going to run with the breakfast money .
they humiliated me asking to pay i was not able to eat properly .
I never seen that usually after you finish your stay you can pay the sold at the reception .
I am disappointed i never eat in their restaurant again .

Great Hotel I recommend

We had a very nice stay at the Mercure Hotel in Offenburg. The beds were very comfortable, but the rooms were just a little bit small. Overall, we had a great stay.

Expensive and not very helpful management

We took over many rooms in this hotel and everyone was disappointed in the service offered. this was not the fault of the staff who did their best but management for being intransient. some of the problems included
our event finished late and we were promised a bar service until 2am. This had to be battled for every night
Not enough staff on duty to cater for our needs
People being told that 10 people were too much for a meal a la carte so had to have buffet
being informed on the 1st day that cleaning took 5 days to return
No laundry bags in the room as they had run out
toilet in room did not flush properly and took then 3 visits to sort out
Fridge in room only just working
airconditioning sub standard although it was a very hot week
cockroaches in at least 2 of the rooms that we took

the location is superb and offenburg council wish us to return , however unless the hotel improves considerably on price, attitude and services, this will influence our decision.

please , let us be clear. The bar staff on duty and reception did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable, it was management changing what they had promised and not solving problems that was the problem.

the hotel is a standard congress hotel worth 3 stars not 4

Not like other Mercure Hotels

This hotel has a 3* general feeling, more like Ibis and not Mercure. I am a big fan of Mercure but this hotel was disappointing.
It is dirty and outdated, I hat a bad smell in the room and reception staff refused to change the room.
No proper heating, I was literally freezing during the night.
No mini bar, lack of everything you would be used to in a 4* hotel.

Very good hotel for brief overnight stay.

Very good standard Mercure hotel. Great food in the restaurant. You need a diploma to understand how to work the coffee machine but persevere as the end result is very good.

Quite standard hotel, good place to rest for the night. Little bit out of the way of the town centre and a bit of a walk from the train station. However Offenburg isn't very big so it's easy enough to find. One of few Germany hotels that offer milk with coffee. Nice enough for a short break, nothing special.

Great hotel but location is in an industrial area.

We had a weekend break here. Everything was great exept the location. No views of the black forest only of factories and roads. However, it was only ten minutes walk from
Offenburg center and there is cycle hire outside the hotel.
The city is really nice and there are a lot of typical German towns and villages nearby. We visited the Rhine and Europa World which wet not so far away. Overall a beautiful place and i would visit again but would stay in Offenburg next time.

Our family stayed here only one night, but it was excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool was located on the top floor and had a nice view of the Black Forest. The room amenities were great too. Maybe it's just me, but I have never stayed in a hotel where they provided free coffee, juice, bottled water, Coke, lots of snacks and beer too! That was really nice. We wish every hotel would do this. All in all, we really enjoyed this hotel. Very comfortable and quiet too.

Nice hotel walking distance from historical center

We had a lovely time in Offenburg the week before Easter. The hotel staff were friendly and spoke English. Our room was comfortable and clean. We were able to walk to a small grocery store easily, and a bike rental kiosk is nearby along with pretty bike trails along the canal. It took about 15-20 minutes to walk to the pedestrian shopping and historical area, and about 30 min to walk to the train station. There were pedestrian walkways everywhere we went.

Hotel is approx 30 years old and looks a bit dated, but is very clean and functional - had coffee machine in the room and was also able to request a kettle. Very nice swimming pool with nice views. Sauna, steam room etc etc. Very good value for the money, and Offenburg town is also nice for a quick visit

Very ince and very convient hotel, right off the autobahn between Basel and Frankfurt. This is a modern hotel right in the middle of the Black Forest area. Offenburg is a good starting place for looking at castles,vinyards,and just a neet to stay

We arrived following good instructions and were greeted with very pleasant staff. Our room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was comfortable and the meal was wonderful. Breakfast was also magnificent with so much choice and very well presented. We swam in the pool on the 5th floor with a view so lovely. All in all a very enjoyable stay for the one night.

We come for the IDS in Offenburg - and we love to stay at the hotel since it is close to the exhibition center - it is easy to find a parking space - the hotel is dog friendly - we have big comfortable rooms - and the surrounding is perfect for dogs

Die Toilette war nicht richtig sauber.
Das Zimmer (516) war sehr hellhörig und direkt gegenüber vom Aufzug, wo viele Leute sich bis spät in die Nacht unterhalten haben, zusätzlich steht ein brummender Snack-Automat direkt vor der Tür.

Und was absolut gar nicht geht ist der muffige Gestank im ganzen Zimmer, welcher vermutlich im Teppich drin steckt und vermutlich früher in diesem Zimmer geraucht wurde!

Séjour en famille. Hotel un peu vieillissant (ascenseurs en panne quand nous y étions...), mais bien tenu et propre. Très belle piscine au sommet de l'hotel, bien chaude, mais se renseigner sur les horaires d'accès qui varient beaucoup.

Ondanks 2 gereserveerde kamers was er maar 1 doorgekomen. Dit oplossen duurde erg lang en was blijkbaar ontzettend lastig voor het personeel. Toen de kamer eindelijk gevonden was hing er een penetrante rioollucht.

L’accueil par le personnel était agréable et le petit-déjeuner bon. Les espaces communs sont bien entretenus, mais la chambre pourrait bénéficier d'une rénovation et d’un meilleur nettoyage : moquette usée et tachée, rideaux avec des trous, et la pompe de gel douche était vide à notre arrivée. Pour un hôtel Mercure, un peu plus d’attention à la propreté et à la modernité de la chambre sont attendues.

Perfekt für den Tag mit 35 Grad ein Zimmer mit Klimaanlage gehabt zu haben, leider musste wir sie in der Nacht ausmachen da sie zu laut war.
Service an der Rezeption nett, im Restaurant hervorragend.

Zur Umgebung kann ich nichts Produktives sagen, das Hotel steht neben dem Messegelände gibt bestimmt schönere Gegenden in Offenburg...

Unser Hotelzimmer war unerwartet geräumig und auch der Balkon hatte viel Platz. Auch die 2 vorhandenen Waschräume fanden wir positiv. Der Pool und die Sauna waren ebenfalls sauber und gut. Das zugebuchte Frühstück war von der Auswahl her auch gut, aber das Personal kam mit dem Auffüllen des Belages, des Rühreis, der Pflege der Kaffeemaschinen nicht hinterher. Das kann noch verbessert werden. In Summe kann das Hotel aber empfohlen werden. Auch der Parkplatz gegenüber des Hotels konnte von uns kostenlos genutzt werden ( Messeparkplatz)

Comfy and clean stay over hotel with a very decent restaurant as well. Convenient location for a day trip to Europapark or Strasbourg, but Offenburg itself is a cute little black forest town as well with plenty of shopping, dining and other facilities. I enjoyed the stay and will definitely consider it again when in the region.

Der er tale om et gammelt nedslidt hotel hvor rengøringen bestemt ikke prioriteres. Der sad gammel støv på spejlet dørkarme og borde. Receptionen blev betjent af nogenlunde venligst men uerfarne mennesker. I restauranten var personalet ganske uprofessionelt og nærmest uhøfligt
Det eneste positivt der er at sige om dette hotel er at det ligger tæt på messehallerne
