Overall, hotel is quite dated, the bathrooms were refurbished and actually really nice! Unfortunately our room was filled with Asian bugs (ladybugs) which wasn’t nice! Unfortunately they charge you for everything, including coffee downstairs, they charge you to reserve a spot to use facilities and also charge for water as well! For the price we paid during December it was quite expensive

Nice, cheap hotel. Staff was helpful and polite. Breakfast was quite tasty. Cleanliness off the hotel was alright. There are 2 pools in the hotel. One pool is free, but only fo adults, 2nd one is in the spa so you have to pay for it. Lot's of parking space, there is also trams not far from the hotel that will get you to the city centre. Overall not bad stay.

The perfect spot to Break a road trip and Relax

TBH i don’t know where to begin. This is the 2nd time in as many years that we’ve stayed here.
The location of the hotel is really nice. It fit my requirements perfectly. It is situated about 15 minute drive from the amazing city of Strasbourg. If you like to drive through Europe and want a nice place to break the road trip and just chill for 2 days or even 3 between your drive from Paris for example to Switzerland or Italy, look no further.Moreover, the staff here are really professional and extremely nice which made our stay even better. Finally i would like to thank Mr. Patrick and his team for making our stay amazing.

Great hotel but disappointing on several fronts

7Hotel&Spa is a great hotel that has many amenities. Sadly (contrary to how it appears on the Hotels.com page, several are only available if we pay extra). That is the case for the jacuzzi, the Hamam, and the pool inside the hotel). There is a pool available along with an exercise room in a building 200 m away. However, since the pool is only available when classes are not taking place, it does not leave much time for its use for simple hotel clients like us.
I made a reservation that included breakfast (with Screenshot of the room I reserved with breakfast with the price I paid) but, somehow, it did not show on the Hotels.com reservation. I stood my ground and the attendant finally accepted that I do not pay a second time for breakfast. I loved the hotel but did not have a great experience.

Very friendly and helpful staff, they gave us information to find our way into Strasbourg by tram, which was about a 10 minute walk from hotel. It’s a little remote so walking back late at night made my partner feel a little uncomfortable, but having said that we didn’t encounter any problems. We found the hotel room a little chilly in the evening, and TV channels in English were very limited. We watched Netflix from our phone instead with free Wi-Fi. There was a jacuzzi bath in our room but this didn’t work so just used it as a normal bath. Hotel doesn’t advertise as a jacuzzi so can’t really complain about that. The hotel itself was very clean. One thing to note, when using the tram we couldn’t read the ticket info so was unsure what one to buy, we got the most expensive to be safe. You have to zap it on a machine each time you get on and off the tram so it can track where you go, we didn’t know this so the ticket we bought on the Saturday we could use on the Sunday, as it starts from when you 1st zap it, so that was a bonus. There wasn’t anyone checking tickets on the trains. Note to self, learn a little more French before our next trip. Overall it was a fabulous stay. Strasbourg market was beautiful, although very busy so difficult to get to the stalls. We went to Colmar on the Sunday, this had a more laid back vibe with music (which Strasbourg lacked) and it was just as pretty. We struggled to find places to sit and eat in Strasbourg as it was busy but in Colmar we did.

Service at front desk was excellent. Room was acceptable although lacked any little amenities, no fridge, no tea/coffee. The pillows on the bed were awful. Bathroom was clean and spacious. Swimming pool not open in the mornings at all which meant we could not use it at all.

This is a great property that is nicely located to trams going right into Strasburg. Our only disappointment was not having a refrigerator or wine opener in our Junior Suite. I would let the wine opener slide at most places but Alsace is wine country and its almost a sin. We loved the pool and the fact they welcome pets for 15€ per night.

We had no heat in the room the whole stay. The blower was blowing out cold air all night we had to sleep in clothes. My family and I will not be coming back. Limited parking due to the police taking up a quarter of the parking spots. The restaurant needs a new chef. Food with no seasoning.

Very friendly receptionist and comfortable rooms. Two restaurants are attached to it and they serve very nice food. Dinner on Sunday evening was not possible but they are very comfortable with orders from the outside. Did not have time to test the Spa areas.
Location is a bit away from evrything but a tram can be reached by foot in a few minutes.

Very outdated. The images do not to this place justice in that everything just looks old and tatty. The walls are not covered in paper, but instead a strange fabric wrap that is springy... why!!!???!!! Overall it was somewhere to sleep, but I was really upset that I chose this place. Its in the middle of nowhere, dirty, old and tatty.

Booked luxury family room for 4, was advertised as 1 double bed and 1 couch bed. When we got to the room there was just a double bed. Went down to reception and they said they had run out of rooms with extra bed. They then arranged for a small bed to be brought up to us. We proceeded to get that ready and noticed some of the wooden spring panels underneath were broken and some were missing. There were no sheets either for it. Not sure if this is the hotels fault or hotels.com but ultimately the hotel should be upfront if they haven't got available what has been booked and provide alternative or reduce cost of booking. Although service at reception was very pleasant, more thought and initiative could have gone into assisting with the extra bed and providing sheets etc instead of us having to keep going down to ask for each thing. Room was clean and had all basics that was required.

Pathetic experience

In the first room that we got, the room is not at all what the photos look like. The bathroom doesn't have a bath tub or a separate bathing area. The water clogged up and flowed outside the door making the carpet wet. The toilet flush didn't work.

When we told the hotel staff about it, one of them was very rude and refused to change our room starting that they are overbooked. We said we won't live here and asked for a refund. They gave us a new room then. I wonder how they had availability in that case.

I may have been out of luck but my room smelt like mold, it was not very modern and breakfast was not enjoyable at all, very smalm variety, hard bread, low quality. Avoid this hotel

We checked in on Friday. This hotel is on the campus of an university. Around 10 pm, a big dance party started with hundreds student crowd. While we were resting in our hotel room, rock bands sound and vibration bothered us very much. I went down to the front dest and complained. The staff was unsympathetic but gave us another room on the 4th floor. We carried our luggages from the 1st floor to the 4th floor around 10:30pm. Still the sound and vibration bothered us. I called the front desk and found out the party was supposed to end at 3 am! I couldn't believe that I checked in a holiday inn. I felt like being in dorm room or fraternity house. Don't consider booking this hotel. One more grunt. I was supposed to stay two nights here with non-refundable booking. But according to the staff, there was supposed to be another crazy party on Saturday. I wrote to an e-mail to GB hotel.com stating that I can't stay in this hotel any more because of this non-sense party in the basement of hotel and asked for the cancellation of Saturday night booking. Three days passed and I have not received any response yet from GB hotel.com. Thanks, hotels.com. You are very helpful for your customer's problem.

Combined Business and Leisure trip

On the plus side, the hotel staff was very friendly, helpful, courteous, and willing to please. The food in the dining room was very good and the breakfast was sumptuous. On the negative side, the hotel was very noisy. Our room faced the entrance way. Below, in the lobby, was a continuous TV feed of a fashion show with an obnoxious back beat that could be heard way into the wee hours of the night, disturbing our rest. The shower was just a handle and a drain in the floor with no surround so water went everywhere, necessitating many extra towels. This hotel is rather far from the tram station. I use a walker and it was a struggle to walk that far. There were no closeby restaurants. And not that it matters, but the hotel decor is hideous. The theme is 1950s-60s Hollywood and it is truly ugly.

We booked a junior sweet, which was advertised as having two king beds. One of the beds was a double-sized pull out sofa. Reception told us there are no rooms with two king beds. Séjour mitigé , dans la chambre la Clim fait bcp de bruit pendant la nuit , il n’y a pas de miroir dans la chambre, ce qui est normalement un équipement de base. Mais le point plus problématique, ce sont vraiment les tasses à café du petit déjeuner , elles sont vraiment sales, ce n’est pas acceptable en matière d’hygiène je n’étais pas la seule à l’avoir remarqué d’autres clients aussi … l’hôtel doit vraiment améliorer ses points négatifs. la literie était bien. La Piscine était impeccable les enfants ont aimé .
