Location was good, check in was friendly and smooth. Unfortunately, following the other two receptionists were not so friendly; rather hands off!
Inside of the hotel and our room was outdated, small bathroom with a tiny shower. Didn't have any balconies nor iron and ironing board. We didn't like misadvertisement! Also, washer and dryer are not free of charge!
Everything is written in French, so we didn't know that we were supposed to take-out the trash. All of the photos were shown on Hotels.com wasn't the same yet, similar of what we were given. Bed was comfortable, we stayed 3 days.

Not what we expected

We booked a superior studio that did not resemble the photographs on the website at all. Tried to check in at 3pm, room was not available until 4.30pm , after being told it would be 5 minutes. Had to leave luggage in an unsecured, unsupervised room, no luggage labled and other guests luggage too. Our Room was tiny, outside area dirty and messy, neighbouring rooms outside area covered in cigarette ends, doggy poo bags, cans etc. These were separated by wooden palets. In rooms, you could not control your own aircon, and it was seldom on. At 30 degrees +, this made it very uncomfortable, especially during the night. You were told not to turn fridge any cooler, it was on minimum. you had to recyle your own rubbish and put general rubbish in basement carpark. Large Laundry cages and recycling bins were directly outside our room for our entire 3 night stay. Bed and toilet clean but bathroom sink very slow to drain. This is not in the petit france area, as stated, though a reasonable walk to get there. So many notices about dos and donts, we felt we were back at school. This certainly did not live up to website description/photographs, and certainly not what we expected after our various hotel/appartment stays throughout europe this trip

Nothing fancy, but checked all our boxes.

Room was clean other than balcony dirty and dusty, but there was construction going on nearby. Bathroom sink was a bit stooped up. Notified desk in am. It was fixed and clean when we came back in pm. So good response follow through. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Shout out to Jean, Willy, and Lauryn,I think. Breakfast set up was good, but since we are gf, didn’t buy it. Disappointed we had to pay for a coffee in the common area. Kitchenette in room a big plus for us. Bed was comfortable and high enough off the floor. Being close to tram and bus to get anywhere in town as well as close to train station, is a major benefit of this location. Good value for the price.

The hotel boasts an exceptional location. The gentlemen on the lobby were exceptionally friendly and readily available to assist us with any inquiries we may have had. Despite the ongoing remodeling efforts, we remained thoroughly satisfied with our stay. Overall, the hotel offers a remarkable value for money.
On a separate note, my daughter inadvertently left her Apple Watch behind. We contacted the hotel, and they promptly retrieved the watch for our collection.

We recently stayed at this hotel, which was more of an apartment-style accommodation (as advertised). Overall, it was an okay experience, but there were some drawbacks.

The main downside was the lack of room service throughout our stay, which made it feel less convenient than a typical hotel. Additionally, the beds were not particularly comfortable, which impacted our overall comfort.

On the positive side, the location was excellent—very walkable to major attractions, which saved us time and hassle. We arrived with a car, and while parking was manageable, being in a busy area made it slightly challenging at times.

If you're looking for a central location and are okay with a no-frills experience, this could work, but it's not the place if you're expecting hotel-like services or luxurious comfort.

The parking was convenient, though not free, and needs to be booked with the hotel. I did not receive a response to my email, so had to telephone, I had to try a few times before being answered. I did not recive a written confirmation the parking was booked, but all was fine when we arrived. Very well located, just a few short minutes walk from petite france. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and well appointed. My daughter enjoyed the fuseball table in the lobby.

Good, comfortable hotel in an excellent location, very close to Strasbourg's main train station and to the main touristic, historic area. Rooms are spacious and clean, they are equipped with kitchenette, microwave, kettle and coffee maker, besides TV and Air Conditioning (keep that in mind for stays during Summer). Friendly, attentive and helpful staff, they provided their assistance whenever it was needed with a professional attitude.

The staff were friendly and were happy for us to leave our luggage with them as we arrived very early on the day we checked in. The hotel was also quite close to the station which was convenient. They left my room window open with no screen so a lot of flies entered. Also they left the back door of the building open which allowed more flies inside and is also not safe for potential intruders. The walls had cracked paint and the room smelled bad. A twinkle experience.

Good hotel with everything that you need. Very useful kitchenette which comes with pots and pans, cutlery, chopping boards and everything you need. Great location in close proximity to Petite France and the rest of the town centre. Also within a short walk of the train station and a tram stop which takes you to Place d’Island. We found staff were polite and always on hand to help with queries.

Good for what it is. The location was 10-minutes away from Petite France and the cafes area. It provided variety of services. Studios we booked didn’t not have room cleaning service, showers are TINY, and kitchenettes are small you barely can cook. We liked the balcony area every room had, and we appreciated the ground floor rooms more.

It is a decent environment and clean simple room. Near train station , shopping and old town yet it is away from the crowds. Friendly staff . However it is not a typical hotel as it is an apartment , therefore has to have right expectations. It will be ideal for people who like to cook simple meal the bigger room does come with a very small kitchen that are well equipped. Most important it has a parking garage within the building and it serve those who drive.

We were really happy with Aparthotel Adagio. It is outside the old city but walking distance to everything. Secure underground parking for 11€ night. Beds were super comfortable. The mini kitchenette was actually very well equipped - great for families. Bring coffee pods that fit in a Nespresso coffee machine.

Really enjoyed our stay here, the local area is up and coming, safe and interesting and has lots of nice shops and eateries. Wonderful market up the rd and good supermarket behind building. Metro at front door, so convenient! The apartment is spacious for Paris, is clean, comfortable and you feel like a local. Only negatives were the noise on Friday nights from bars below and no washing working machine, although it advertised one. We loved our stay and would highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. We have everything we need and more. The staff (romain) was very nice and kind, he showed us where to go. He was very accomodating and helpful. Thr facilities were clean breakfast is bountiful and all fresh everyday, i will definetly recommend this to my friends and family!

This was my third stay at the Adagio!

On all my visits to the Adagio - last Christmas, last summer and this October - I've been welcomed with a lovely smile from the reception staff. They are always happy to help you with any questions or advice etc. The rooms I've always had there have all I need to be able to cook for myself , relax in after a busy day. Good internet connection for working etc . As usual I've had a peaceful room which is always clean and tidy. Bathroom meets my needs with a walk in shower and plenty of towels etc. I will return to stay again as I have family and friends who live in Strasbourg and because I love the City and all it has to offer a visitor to Alsace!

Good place to stay !

Enjoyed my 2 week holiday very much over Christmas and the New Year. Was a bonus as the Adagio was easy to get to from the main train station and also very close to a tram station. Has an Artisan baker's ( wonderful selection of breads ) and mini convenience store near by so easy for me to stock up for my self catering. An added bonus to be so close to the Museum of Modern Art ( lots to see ) and a short walk to Petit France and on to the City centre. Was easy to visit the Christmas markets from the hotel which were doted about the City. Everyone was friendly at the hotel and very welcoming.

Modern clean apart-hotel in lovely Strasbourg

Had a fabulous long w/e in the hidden (hidden to us before last w/e that is) gem of the city of Strasbourg (and we went to equally beautiful Colmar, by train).
This was a great studio apartment at a great price, 10 mins walk from Petite France (the old part of Strasbourg). One small niggle: only one pillow was provided each, I need two to sleep well. Great value, clean & comfy. First class receptionists on every shift.

Great hotel if travelling with famliy and bikes.

We stayed here as an overnight stop while travelling with our kids and had 2 adult bikes on the roofrack, so the aparthotel layout and secure parking were key.
The hotel was perfect for our needs and we wish we could have stayed for longer.
The room. With two children (6 and 4) we didn't want them to sleep in a separate hotel room from us or for my wife and I to have to sleep in separate rooms, so a hotel was out of the question and the aparthotel was perfect. The kids were able to go to bed at their usual time in the main bedroom while we slept on the sofabed. Both beds were comfortable and we all slept well. The room was clean, tidy, well equipped and surprisingly large. With all of the features of a normal hotel room the added mini kitchen and small dining table made breakfast much easier. Plus we even had a small balcony!
One of the key factors with the hotel was the private carpark, so following booking I called and was able to reserve a space, payable on arrival. The carpark exceeded our expectations. It is spacious, secure and the gate is tall enough that we were able to drive in without needing to take the bikes off the roofrack (nearly 3 meters).
Local area. There is a boulangerie and Carrefour City nearby. The Petit France area of the city is a short walk away and we were able to find a beautiful riverside restaurant for dinner.
Overall we were very impressed and will book here again on our next trip to Germany.

Good hotel in a quiet location close to everything

Whole experience was brilliant. There was a small confusion on booking in which was handled brilliantly by the receptionist and sorted extremely quickly. The room was ground floor which was good for my husband who has trouble walking. The kitchenette was small but everything that was needed. The pans etc were the best quality I have known in a hotel situation. Location was great - just a couple of minutes walk from the Museum of Modern Art and a superb boulangerie. Tram stop 5 minutes walk, Central Station 10 minutes walk max. Access to the courtyard was an unexpected bonus and much used as weather was really good. Our whole stay was really relaxed. Bed so comfy!

We bought high speed internet (only 80 kb/s), sadly, it was not much quicker than the internet which is complimentary (62 kb/s) at the hotel. So, don´t recommend to anybody who is serious about getting some \"high speed\" internet. It is a pity if you need to work. When we asked someone at reception, the answer was \"I don´t know\" and then nobody came to help or to solve our issue. Generally, hotel is Ok. You can park your car, not so far from Petite France.

perfect place for vacation!

The room was perfect. The size was quite spacious, the view was nice, the parking was convenient, the staff all spoke English and were very helpful, and there's even a kitchen with dishes and bowels in the room! Everything was just perfect. The hotel is within walking distance to Petit France, and there is a Carrefour just around the corner. Perfect location. Definitely would stay again if I visit Strasbourg.

Excellent location literally five minute walk to old part of city. Staff very helpful, only down side was no wifi in rooms only in lobby. We managed a parking spot out front of hotel but parking is difficult and none at the hotel. As our stay was over a weekend it was ok only paid for parking Saturday afternoon as Sunday is free and paid parking not start till 9am Monday.

Nice Way to Tour Strasbourg

Had a fantastic time in studio for two days. Very easy walk to RR station and all the tourism sites including petite France and cathedral area, and associated shopping and souvenir shops. Very friendly staff. Have to use WiFi in common area, but no big problem. Because this was studio with refrigerator and cooking facility, we could make our own breakfast and some light meals. We will remember this chain of hotels.

Good value for the price

We stayed here for two nights and got a good deal. It's about a twenty minute walk to city centre, so not bad. My only complaint is that the wifi is only available in the lobby. Would be nice to have it in the rooms.

Terrible service--rude, incompetent

Last year when we stayed there (a group of 14) we had a great experience with good service, helpful assistance, and comfortable facilities. But this year the front desk staff was rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful in sorting out the room situation and responding to our minor requests. Later we overheard them loudly complaining to other guests about us and making fun of us in a very unprofessional manner. Obviously we did not feel welcome and won't return again next year. What a difference it makes to have good people at the front desk!

Nice staff

Helpfull staff when we need them. Good working wi-fi, Only minus we had at this place was the terrible service under breakfast. Day one it was only egg-problem, next morning everything was a mess. And it's nok a very basic breakfast.

Ideal for a one night stay

We booked this hotel as it was close to the station and walking distance to the city centre. We were late arriving due to a delayed flight but managed to find the hotel easily by foot from the station, and then the guy on the desk was happy to provide a map and directions to where we could get a late dinner. The room was clean and comfortable. Although we didn't use the kitchen area, it did make for a more spacious room. The bathroom was very clean and modern, although it's a shame they didn't install a cubicle for the shower rather than just providing a rather ineffective curtain. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, choosing to venture into the old town instead for coffee and croissant, but from what we saw it was reasonable and plentiful. Staff on the front desk in the morning were helpful in providing a hairdryer and then keeping our luggage for the day while we walked round the city before leaving in the afternoon to pick up our hire car. Great value for the money.
