The worst service ever in a 5 star hotel
The worst service ever in a 5 star hotel. I booked a superior room for 2 adults in which the description says 1 child stays free and when we went there they said for security reasons you cannot stay in this room and you must go to a junior suite and we need to pay 300 euros more per night. After the manager came and said i will give you a deluxe room and you will pay 150 euro per day. Oh my God, I only stay in 5 star hotels booking for 2 adults and 1 child stays free (3 years old) because the child co-sleeps with us so we don't need extra bed, and i have never face this problem. The manager sent us some fruits for welcome and we thank him but that's it. In this hotel there is no service even if i forget what happened with the room. Nobody speak with you. I didn't feel the service of a 5 star hotel. So if you want to pay for top hotel in Paris you better prefer serious companies.

The pool area is beautiful. Pool water was kept perfectly warm all day and new towels were provided. Unfortunately, it can get crowded. The hotel is beautiful. We would definitely visit this hotel again.

The Bristol is always elegant and comfortable
I have been going to the Bristol since I was 19 years old. I remember saving money for the room at the time. They put me in a little room that was like an artist studio and I loved it. As the years have gone by, I have graduated to suites which are lovely and roomy. My kids love the pool.
There was a renovation a few years back I love the decor, the lavender and greens in the rooms are soothing.
Although the new wing which we stayed in recently has balconies and views, I prefer the old side of the hotel that has views on the courtyard.
The service is always impeccable and the location perfect for everything.
There is ample bar with the original portrait of Marie Antoinette and let's not forget their new mascot; the white persian cat.

The staff is mostly incredibly kind. The location is perfect. It’s a great hotel for a special occasion, we got a small upgrade and beautiful daily surprises. The hotel itself is very dark, no wow effect upon entry. While we were there, they had water damage that came through the ceiling on the famous corridor + the gym was unusable. The breakfast at Epicure was divine, however, before our departure, we had lunch at the lobby. I had a bad feeling about my club sandwich. I assumed that the chicken was undercooked but was assured that it was not. I made my husband taste it too. During our travel home we both got sick with food poisoning that lasted a week. This was obviously a very awful ending to an otherwise beautiful trip and should never happen at an establishment of this caliber.
