The staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel was generally clean and everything was in working order. The location was very good for visiting the old town area and accessing transit. The downside was simply the comfort and layout of the room. Prices were high visiting during the Christmas Markets, which made this hotel a good option, but I would likely seek other options on a return visit. With some investment in comfort and modernization, this hotel would be very nice.

In the center of everything- walkable to the station, the Notre Dame, Petit France waterfront. Plenty of food options. Property has underground parking. Friendly staff, let us checkin early and park our rental car for a couple of hours when checking out. The rooms are a little on the smaller side but enough for our family of four adults.

This property was all you expect from a citadines and more. They had a comfort room where guests can refresh towels or sheets in between services. The apartment was well equipped with cutlery and plates etc and all matching sets, more than you would need. Very thoughtful. The street is right in the middle of the island and a quick stroll to everything. Would definitely stay again.

It’s been my first time in a Citadines property and I can confidently say it’s been a great choice: great and reasonably spacious apartment in a very central area. i would have loved to try the Brasserie at the street level if it wasn’t I had a restaurant booking already. Glad I could take my Labrador with me. Spaces are arranged in a way I didn’t disturb other guests on the early morning walk. Lovely breakfast room with outside area too. I’d say very good value for money for central Strasbourg.

The hotel is very well located, close to the train station and at a very walkable distance from pretty much everywhere in the city center. It is also less than a block away from a tram hub where you can grab a tram and go anywhere.

The staff was super kind and helpful, especially the receptionist who checked us in, who went out of her way to assist us over and over again.

The hotel itself is a bit old, but the rooms are comfortable, have good amenities, are well equipped with a kitchen and everything you need to cook and eat, and are very clean.

Breakfast is very good.

And one of its best features is that it has a self service laundry where you can wash and dry for 9 euro in total in a little over an hour.

I had great experiences with this chain in the past, and this was no exception. Would definitely go back.

Great little aparthotel in an excellent location near transit and all the main sites in Strasbourg. Staff were friendly and helpful, and everything seemed to be no more than a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Plenty of amenities including kitchenette in the room and WeWash laundry on the main floor.

We love our stay at Citadines! Very centrally located, few steps from the metro and just a very short walk to the plaza, cathedral and shopping areas. We were there for the christmas market and we enjoyed how close we were. Our room was beautifully prepared for our stay, very nice and clean with a lovely note to welcome us. I however was not a fan of how thin the doors were. Every time someone shut their door you would hear it so loudly.
I sleep with ear plugs in and still woke up do to the loudness of people in the hallway and the slamming of their hotel doors.

This can be a little difficult to find, but we'll worth the effort. The apartment had everything we needed and the small kitchenette was great with a good size fridge, microwave and hob. The location was excellent no more than a 10 minute walk from petite France and the cathedral. Plenty of underground parking spaces available as parking in Strasbourg is stressful. My only issue was that there was no air conditioning and as the night time temperature didn't drop below 26°c we were greatful for the large fan that was provided.

Kitchen has all necessary items except for a coffee maker even though there are demitasse cups in the cabinet, there is no way to prepare espresso if you did not bring your own maker. There is free coffee in the lobby but I would prefer to make my own in my room and not have to travel downstairs to the lobby before I shower and get ready for the day. There is a tea kettle, but this doesn't help coffee drinkers. Aside from the absence of a coffee maker everything was good.

Strasbourg is beautiful, the hotel staff were very helpful, parking on site was available, perfect location. We drove there and the only thing was getting access to the hotel you needed a code for a street bollard which would have been helpful provided in advance. Lovely hotel for the budget.

The Apartment block is in a great location for shops, restaurants, trams and more.
We had the 2 bed apartment and it is so spacious containing everything you need.
One down side of this room is that the Wifi would not work and despite repeated efforts by staff and their Service maintainer, it did not work the whole of our stay (4 nights). Just as an FYI, the Wifi worked in the reception area, so we know it was not our devices.
On a personal level, I was a little disappointed as I had planned to do some work whilst there and had to bear the inconvenience of taking laptop to reception every time I needed to connect.

This is a wonderful property. Very comfortable and centrally located, just down the street from the tram station at Kleber Place. Liked being able to make my own breakfast, keep water and other drinks cold and fix a snack in the evening. With the electric cooktop and broiling microwave, you can prepare a pretty good meal. Monoprix and Kuchan only a few blocks away for supplies. Front desk is manned 24/7, except for Christmas Eve. On site laundry is very convenient, albeit a little expensive. Spacious living room and bedroom. Modern bathroom with tub/shower combo. Lots of closet space, iron and ironing board provided. Would definitely stay here again when in Strasbourg.

I am happy to recommend this property which has a wonderful location, lovely rooms and concierge staff who are courteous, helpful and very kind to tourists with poor French language skills. I would particularly recommend it to Australians because the rooms have a kitchenette. Even if you don't intend to cook (and I never do), it is good to be able to make coffee in the morning or a snack at night and many hotels in France do not provide kettles. tea and coffee, much less a bar fridge.

Very convenient to main train station and easy to find. About a 10 minute walk to Church square, many restaurants in area, close to Petite France, felt safe. Daily housekeeping costs extra, but we didn’t need it, just asked for new towels at desk. Very comfortable bedding. Would stay again.

The stay was comfortable, everything was exactly as we expected. Rooms were exactly as pictured. Parking was tricky, as the roads are not updated on maps and with many 1 way streets we couldn’t find our way. Location otherwise is perfect, 10 mins walking distance to the best attractions, shopping and restaurants.

The hotel is very central and has everything you need around it. Staff is nice too! The only recommendation I have for the hotel is, don't use 2 single beds together thinking you would make a double bed. Please invest in buying proper double beds.

Central location and good value for money.

Great location - close to the main square and a central tram interchange. Also only 6 or 7 mins walk to two supermarkets and the cathedral. The basic kitchen facilities were fine for a few days. The beds were OK (if a bit on the firm side for my liking). Having stayed the previous few days at a Citadines in Paris, we felt that this particular property was slightly inferior in terms of facilities. There is no air conditioning in the rooms which got quite hot at night (we stayed in August). We left the windows open but this meant that we were disturbed during the night with noise from the street below and also early in the morning ( bin collections etc.). Although a fan was provided, this did not really cool the room down. Also, small details like there being no shower gel provided, no hooks on the bathroom door, no wash hand basin or extractor in the separate toilet etc. However, overall I would still consider staying here again due to the central location and value for money.

The reception was fine. Very nice team. Unfortunately, 100 degree days and only small fans to assist. Apartment was unusable due to temp during the days. After 11pm it was bearable. Also, would only recommend parking if you have a compact. Very challenging to park and exit the vehicle in anything else. Would recommend apartment in cooler months....

Extremely rude staff, Charged me twice!

This is my first bad review of a hotel!

Issue 1: We booked this hotel mainly for it's parking. The day we got there, the road to the hotel was closed and we had to park somewhere else. I understand this happens and it's not their fault. They said they would give us a discounted rate for parking at this garage and the card they gave never worked. We ended up paying full price! 44 euros!

Issue 2:
I prepaid for this hotel. But when we got to the hotel, the lady told us they don't have a payment and charged me again! I called hotels.com and asked them to sort it out. They called the hotel and apparently the lady \"missed\" our payment made before. If I hadn't checked with hotels.com I could have just ended up paying twice. SO BEWARE!

Issue 3: The lady said she needs her manager to refund my payment. Never once apologized for her mistake. That night I went to check my status of refund and some rude guy at the reception kept insisting I shouldn't make a big deal out of it! Of course its a big deal for me. IT'S MY MONEY! I understand mistake happens but it doesn't hurt to be apologetic! The manager who ended up refunding the money was the worst! Not once did I hear the word sorry!

Issue 4: This place does not have AC. If you are an American like me traveling in the middle of summer skip this place! And it's also not very clean.

The property is ideally located, in the center near the shops but still accessible by car with many parking facilities. The property is recently renovated and in impeccable state. The rooms are well equipped in a functional fashion. Staff is efficient and helpful. Many nice restaurants within walking distance... Coffee and tea is free until 10pm and umbrellas at the door.

It was an amazing stay. The hotel is centrally located. Steps away from great restaurants and shops. Near the tram. Able to park my car and walk everywhere. The room was large and very clean. Modern. Great staff. Wonderful breakfast.

Good start, good stay, terrible finale

The room size was rather small. The kitchenette was very well-equipped. The toilet was separated from the bathroom which allowed for convenience in usage. The parking garage was easily accessible but not easy for exit. We informed the front desk staff that we were leaving with our car and reminded them to open the garage door. However we were left waiting on a very steep slope for a long time. We flashed our headlights and honked a few times to alert the front desk staff while waiting. A French lady in her car was also waiting behind us. It was annoying and stressful. Finally we called the front desk to alert them and they eventually let us out. The stay was pretty good, but the finale was terrible.

Location is good. Stone throw away from Klebèr square and walking distance to petite France.

I have a high expectation on Citadines as I have had a nice stay in Ascott-brand apartment in Chong Qing. So I was kind of disappointed to open the door to a Budget looking room. The beds were hard and they are rollaway type. Nevertheless it is not a bad place to stay.

I am more disappointed with the lady serving me during my checkout. Perhaps she is the only unfriendly person I met in the beautiful Strasbourg. No eye contact, no smile. she wore a displeasure look. This is not an acceptable service in a hotel.

The location was excellent but the room had some issues, the shower (I understood the design of the shower) had a problem with the water, it can reach outside the bathroom very easily. The breakfast was very simple and boring for the price but if you don’t want to bother yourself looking for a place for breakfast is fine. And I found cleaning didn’t was very good when we got there. It was very good location and very reasonable prices so at the is fine
