Really well priced, spacious room - we got the family room for three adults and there are two bunk beds located in a separate room with a pocket door for privacy (and a window). There aren’t any extras like a kettle, a safe or even facial tissues but still good value for the price. Less than a five minute walk from the train station, and an easy walk into old town. The reception isn’t 24 hours fyi.

What a quaint but different hotel
Only a short walk from the central train station.
Welcome was warm and friendly,did not judge me on my poor attempt to speak french.
Had a single room on the fourth floor. Pleased I took the time to walk up the stairs as the winding staircase had a different look at every turn.
Room was clean and tidy.
Single bed and small shower room.All that was required for a nights stay.
Free WiFi with a good signal(room 405).
Very close to all sights within Strasbourg ideal spot for visiting the Christmas Markets.

If you are looking for a hostel feel, this is the place for you. Staff were nice, but we did not appreciate the political attire worn by one individual. We thinks it’s very inappropriate for a hotel with guests from all around the world. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were throw pillows. Not actual sleeping pillows. There was no a/c and no shampoo or conditioner. The bed sheets did not even fit the whole bed. The hotel is more interested in art aspect of hotel than convenience and comfort. There was more than enough room for a chest of drawers and storage. The patisserie across the street has deliveries start at 5am. I

This is the place for any traveler coming from the train to store their luggage for the day. It is free for those staying at the hotel. The hotel is a step above a nice hostel. The bathrooms are very large but still have very little space to put your stuff and no privacy as the shower is clear glass with the toilet right next to it. Other rooms may be different, but they are all less than ideal. The room for 4 was large but no privacy as all the beds are together. The construction noise was an issue for our room but not for all. It is a 2-year project so ask for a quiet room if you don’t get up early or you want to afternoon nap. There is an elevator. I would not recommend their coffee or their breakfast in common area. But they do have a microwave and kitchenware if needed. There are many delicious bakeries and coffee shops within walking distance. The main train station is across the street. This location is not that close to the main square. If staying longer than one night I would choose something closer to the Notre Dame cathedral. However, this was a most economical option for 8 of us. Friendly staff.

This is not a place for someone looking for anything other than a bed and toilet for the night. I was shocked to see some of the furniture was made of raw pine 2x4’s. It felt like being in a teenager’s tree house. I thought I’d walked into a nightmare with stickers all over the walls and graffiti like “art”. Not for families or anyone over the age of 25. Not in a good area either.

Spent 3 nights here.
Team on reception are very friendly, helpful and always greet you with a smile. Our afternoon chap had a good choice of music playing.

Room was large and had a huge king size bed. Room was very clean and well maintained - not run down or worn.

Bathroom was excellent and well fitted out - also very good water pressure.

The room had big windows that opened and interesting string art on walls and ceiling. Bed was very comfortable and good pillows.

We were here in August, some days were humid - there was no air con in the room but there is a new evaporative air cooler/fan which did the job perfectly (I was a bit…what is this when we first arrived - ‘no air con?’).

Location was perfect, not in the heart of the tourist area which meant street was not crowded/noisy. Easy to walk everywhere and the location had a nice bar/restaurant across the street, plenty of boulangerie/bakery options for the morning and eating choices.

Another great point location wise, it’s less than 8min walk from the main train station to the hotel.

I just loved the creative vibe of this hotel. From the art in the lobby to the murals in our room (each room designed by a different artist, this is a unique hotel. We had a fourth floor room with views of the rooftops around us. Just lovely.
The hotel has a restaurant which we used for breakfast . Delicious.

Such a unique and artsy hotel. We enjoyed our stay here. Very convenient to the train station so it made transportation easy. And walkable to Petit France and all the shopping and dining options. Beds were a little firmer than I like and there was noise from the bar below but we still slept well.

Wonderful experience in a glorious city

This was the absolute most perfect wonderful hotel. The room was spotless, well situated with a little cove that had a bunk bed for the children that had a pocket door so we could have the kids sleep while we were doing other things like planning activities or reading. The staff was friendly. The hotel was perfectly located with a 2 minute walk to the train station and a 5 minute walk to the shops and restaurants. There were also shops restaurants and markets all around. We loved this place so much my 9 year old plans to move to move to Strasbourg and try to live at Hotel Graffalgar. Wonderful experience in a glorious city!

We really enjoyed our stay, the service was incredibly friendly and they went the extra mile for us wherever they could. The room was large, comfortable and clean. With only a few minutes walk to the city centre, it was ideal for our stay. We had drinks in the evening and breakfast the next morning, both of which were great with a good atmosphere.

Good value and convenient location close to the main train station. Rooms are modern and decorated by professional graffiti artists. The only inconvenience is the WiFi—only one device allowed and the connection ends immediately after your device goes to sleep so if you had forgotten to check the weather and you immediately turn it on to do so, you must log in again which over the course of a few days becomes a bit annoying. Staff is wonderful and helpful and they have a kitchen for guests with a fridge and microwave which helps cut down on meal expenses.

Enjoyable stay

This is a very good hotel and although I may not now be in Strasbourg again for some time, I would always be happy to stay here. The staff on the front desk are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Rooms are individually decorated and characterful . The hotel is ideally located for the railway station and a short walk into the city. The only suggestions I have for improvement are that a second pillow would be good and there were only two clothes hangers.

Super friendly staff helped me find a nice play where to sample local beers and local food. I traveled with two older teens, and they absolutely loved the place. We had a great night sleep considering we were all jet lagged, and woke up in the morning and had the hotel continental breakfast.

Love this hotel!!!

A unique place to stay. There isn't coffee service in the room, but there is a kitchenette in the common area with dishes, an electric kettle and a refrigerator available for guest use. We stayed in room 401. It is one of only four rooms that has air conditioning. The bathroom was larger than most. It only has a few hooks for hanging clothes (no closet). It was convenient to the train station and most everything else. The neighborhood is diverse. On Friday there is a local market down the street that is far less expensive than the market closer to the cathedral.

If I were to stay again I would request a room on the backside of the hotel. Very convenient to the train station. Only 15-20 minute walk to downtown Strasbourg.

Nice hotel

Hotel Graffalgar is a quirky hotel with each room decorated by a different artist. Love the decoration and the bright decor.
The staff are friendly and recommended places to go and good restaurants in Strasbourg.
However, I didn't manage to get a good sleep at Hotel Graffalgar as the noise from drunks who hung out in the neighborhood kept me up to the wee hours in the morning.
If I ever stay at Hotel Graffalgar again, I would request for a room facing the courtyard to ensure I get a good night sleep.

Funky gem near train station

Our family of four stayed for two nights in March. It's a modern hotel with a clean natural decor, to which they've added tasteful street art in the rooms, lobby and stairwells, giving it a young hip feel. Our room was spacious, with a double bed in the main room and a bunkbed in a smaller adjoining room. Nice big bathroom with modern shower. No storage to speak of though - our bags sat on the ground. Wifi was a bit spotty - you had to sit in the hallway for best reception. One block to train station, and only 15 minutes to stroll to the cathedral in the centre of the old town. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Staff very helpful and friendly - they even stored 7 bags between our checkout and our train departure. (Also, Hotels.com only allowed for us to book as a three-person group, even though the rooms are all either double or quad. I emailed the hotel afterwards to say we were going to be four - they said no problem, but indicated they would have a small surcharge for the 4th person, which is standard.) Pleasant looking snackbar, though we didn't eat there. Would definitely recommend.

Enjoyable stay at Hotel Graffalgar

The hotel is just a few minutes from the central train station and the city center. Good price for its location. It is very well decorated and painted. Each room was designed by a different artist. There is an old Super Mario machine in the lobby. The room is very spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable. There was a fire alarm the morning when we checked out, but neither guests or the staffs seemed to worry about it and no one dashed out of the building. It was strange. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Graffalgar a lot and would definitely recommend it.

Everyone that worked there was very helpful and kind. Our room had 4 beds though there were only three of us so we each had our own bed. The hotel is a short walk from the Petite France area and parking qas at a garage close by. each room is covered in different styles of graffiti which makes it a unique and fun place to stay.

Hotel Graffalgar was situated right in front of the Strasbourgh train station which was very convenient for us. We stayed just one night, but if we return to Strasbourgh again, we will definitely stay again. The room had a double bed for me and my wife + another room with bunk beds for our son. Great location, great price and very clean.

Der Service in der Einstellhalle für das Fahrzeug und an der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich, locker und humorvoll. Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an wohlgefühlt. Das Zimmer war warm und sauber, das Bad gross und der Checkout schnell und unkompliziert. Das Hotel ist auch praktisch gelegen. Über die Brücke und schon war man in der Altstadt. Jedes der 38 Zimmer hat Werke eines anderen Künstlers. Wir waren in jenem von Swen Inkub.

It is too bad that i have stayed only 1 night, but i will be back for a Christmas time for sure! Only one suggestion for the blanket, it would be much more better if it is covered by a duvet.

Sehr interessant mit dem Graffiti. Wohl eher für junge Leute, doch wir waren auch so begeistert. Alles sehr sauber und zuvorkommend. Auch ein Parkplatz wurde für 15 Euro angeboten. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Petit problème d’insonorisation

Quelques difficultés durant le séjour d’une nuit.
Chambre très bruyante à cause d’un conduit d’évacuation d’air extérieur très très bruyant et un radiateur en fonte qui faisait également du bruit d’air…
Personnel agréable, compréhensif mais qui ne pouvait pas faire grand chose par rapport à ce problème. Peut être envisager de mieux insonoriser cette chambre en particulier.
Sinon, décoration moderne, style graph, avec de belles idées déco, très bien situé proche gare et centre.

La camera è molto grande però molto spoglia e poco funzionale, ha un tavolino piccolissimo e un appendiabiti molto piccolo, solo scenografico, risultato finale tocca mettere le valigie sul pavimento. Non ha un bollitore ne un frigo.

Chambre familliame 309 très decevante :

- que les fenêtres soient ouvertes ou fermées le bruit est identique car il rentre par les aérations, la rue en bas est bruyante. (Toxicos, alcoolos...)

- le site affiche de très belles chambres, pour une chambre familliale, le choix de fresques scientifiques avec des cervaux, yeux en orbites, cranes, poumons dessinés en fresque sur le mur face aux lits superposés des enfants est etonnant... eux l'ont bien vu en tout cas !

- c'est une chambre qui fait office d'espace d'attente sécurisé pour les PMR, elle est equipée d'un bloc de secours (HS d'ailleurs), même s'il y a du Scotch, vous dormez dans une chambre eclairée...

- litterie très bas de gamme (matelas) et même d'un point de vue mobilier, notamment le lit superposé.

Le tout pour 450€/nuit (le tarif marché de Noël...) rien que ça !
Je peux comprendre le tarif de l'offre et la demande, mais la chambre était loin d'etre a la hauteur.
