Location is extremely convenient for sightseeing. We came during the busy Christmas season and the bar was sold out of almost everything so not many options to choose from. The room was small but that is typical for Europe. Power in the room was a bit of an issue charging our devices. The hotel staff was really nice and always friendly!

Ideal location next to the cathedral. It's in the pedestrian zone, so it was recommended to park in the Austerlitz parking garage at €22/day. Staff was helpful and friendly. We didn't take breakfast there (€17/person), there are other places to get petit dejeuner nearby. I don't think the hotel would be very accessible for wheelchairs, and of course the cobblestones throughout town would be a challenge. For us, we loved Straßburg and Hotel Rohan!

We loved our stay at the Hotel Rohan in Strasbourg. It was centrally located and easy to walk to sites. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. We had a wonderful room overlooking the courtyard. Staff at check in was very pleasant. We stayed in superior double room which a very nice modern room with a mini fridge, coffee, tea and a bottle that we could refill throughput our stay. There were lots of options for breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage, cold meats, cheese, bread, fruit, yogurt…). All staff were pleasant and helpful.

A chic and central hotel

I really liked this hotel. It was right in the middle of the old town, next to the cathedral. Stepping into reception was lovely, as it was so tranquil after the busy street outside. The interiors are very chic. Our room was comfortable and a decent size. We faced onto the square behind the hotel and it was very quiet. The only noise was the church bells in the morning, but with the windows closed you couldn't hear them. Our only issue was that the air conditioner could only run for 80 minutes at a time. We managed to change the setting which was a big help. I would have liked the air conditioning to have been a bit more powerful as the room was quite warm, but it had been very warm outside and I don't like heat so this might not have bothered others.

I really liked this hotel. The elevator was out of service for a bit today and a sign would have been nice. Stairs are very hard for me. Was delighted with the lovely scrambled eggs on Monday but tues and Wed they were awful. Little things. Tv switches on Every Single Time you put your key in the electric slot. Even when you’ve turned it off. Shower was very hard to figure out. Had to have someone come to my room to show me. It’s awkwardly designed. Repair work involving power tools above my room my second day. No warning. For hours and hours. They offered to move me to another room but did not want to repack. They should have moved me away from it when I checked in. It was a planned repair. Front desk people very nice.

I am so pleased that we selected this hotel. The location is fantastic for both the Cathedral and the rest of hybrid old town. The room we had (404) was really large with a great bathroom. We had a king sized bed. There was a massive dog bed as well as bowls for food and water. The breakfast is extremely good and filling. The staff are very polite and helpful. I would stay at this hotel again the next time I return to Strasbourg.

The staff was wonderful and the location was perfect!!! Exterior of hotel was so lovely… the rooms were clean but look worn down and could use a revamp. They just don’t match the vibe of the exterior or Strasbourg in general. Didn’t eat the breakfast as there were so many restaurants within a five minute radius.
Overall I would recommend staying here for it’s proximity to the cathedral alone!!!

What a great place

Hotel Rohas is great. Friendly and helpful staff - even to an English only speaker. Hotel is super cute with an old-style vibe and yet kept up and modern as well. Elevator worked well and the public areas were nice. Room was super cool and bathroom was great. Very nicely done breakfast. And to cap it all of, the location is magnifique. Just 1/4 block around corner from the Notre Dame de Strasbourg Cathedral in the heart of the old town. You can walk to nearest tram in about 7 minutes. I would defniitely stay here again.

Lovely stay, close to everything you need

We were immediately greeted upon entry. The desk clerk was lovely, very helpful with directions around the city. She explained the hotel’s amenities. The room was comfy. The hotel itself smelled wonderful and I ended up purchasing one of their signature room sprays. It is absolutely worth your while to purchase the breakfast-it was fresh and very delicious with a ton of options. We only stayed one night and would absolutely stay again. It was very close to the Notre Dame and tourism office where many tours originate in the mornings.

Nice, but in a super crowded area

We went to Strasbourg at the height of the Christmas Market season. The Hotel Rohan could not have been more in the center of it.

This proved to be both convenient and frustrating. Convenient because you walk out the door to a wonderful winter wonderland of food, gift and drink stalls. Frustrating because it’s sooooo busy, sometimes you have a literal struggle walking down the narrow street to the hotel.

As far as the hotel itself, if you’re used to the size of a big city European hotel, you’ll be pleasantly surprised about the size of the rooms. They’re clean and shockingly quiet for a busy location. The check in desk doubles as the bar, so sometimes services in the lobby is slow.

Overall, I’d definitely stay here again.

The staff at the reception was excellent! Extremely helpful! However, the toilet is filthy! I was rather shocked! The toilet bowl was black. Things were floating! My son even refused to use it. The sink is stained yellow. Found a hair in the shower! I did informed the reception. Yet, the cleanliness of the bathroom did not improve. As if the Housekeeping has never heard of bleach! The cupboards smelled like wet dogs! I am very sorry about the complaint. For a fantastic hotel with such excellent staff who was always willing to assist in any query I had, I feel quite horrid to write negatively. The location couldn't be better. The breakfast was fabulous! They really need to housekeeping in order! Will I come back tj the hotel again. I am not sure.

The worst hotel experience

We just arrive to the hotel and they told us that there is a problem in our room ( only our room )
A very bed smell like sewers
All night ny child has Shortness of breath and cough because of this smell
The gave ua a remboursement of 100 euro and some gifts but this wasnt acceptable honestly
