The people in the cafe made noise until the midnight and it was not possible to sleep. I paid the place to get a sleep not to have shower or use the toilet but to have decent sleep. There were a group of young people drinking and shouting and making unbearable noice.
I certainly will not stay here again and honestly would not recommend to anyone who is sensitive towards high noise levels.

Breakfast could use improvement—it’s mostly carbs with few healthy options. Adding protein-rich foods like eggs and fresh fruit would make it far more nutritious.
Additionally, unlike other hostels I’ve stayed in, there’s no kitchen. The social room is ridiculously small for a hostel of this size, and the hallway carpet is worn out and could use a refresh.

Everything! For the price of 200 euros per night it was shocking! ($ 340 CDN ). It is unacceptable. No amenities 1 towel. 3rd floor it was like a subway until 4:30am. Never will I recommend this place or return.

The stay was okay overall. The hostel itself isn’t directly responsible, but it was a bit noisy at night, which affected the sleep quality. The staff at the breakfast area could have been more welcoming , their attitude felt a bit indifferent and not very hospitable.

Facilities-wise, the men’s toilet area could use some attention. One of the shower rooms was out of operation, and another one had a broken lock, which made things uncomfortable. A little more maintenance would go a long way.

Not a terrible experience, but with some improvements in service and facilities, it could have been much better.

Hostel lost important medication they were storing for me. Couldn't locate it for over 6 hours after I left to catch a train. Want me to pay for them to mail it to me.

You have caused the problem, expecting me to pay to fix it is absurd.

Hostel is now unresponsive. No accountability. Pathetic customer service.

Noisy hostel, not comfortable for solo travellers.

Would not stay here again, the location was great but that’s the only positive. The hostel doesn’t have lockers unless you pay for them and these are located downstairs not in the rooms. The bottom bunk is basically on the floor and the bar downstairs has extremely loud music playing until late. The music literally vibrates the bed so even with noise cancelling earphones in I was still kept awake all night. The staff were not very polite or helpful. I got up to go to the toilet in the morning and there were two men in the women’s toilets showering, shouting and laughing with each other which made me extremely uncomfortable. I did not feel safe as a solo female traveller and would not recommend to others either.

A hidden gem in the middle of the pricey city

it was definitely a nice affordable centrally located place for a short stay walking distance to the Cathedral and all things in the center. Typical hostel experience with great vibe and cleanliness. Younger crowd with a nice bar in the lobby with shows/events on occasion. Definitely will return here for the price and location and festive atmosphere. loved it. thank you for your great customer service.

Hostel was in a good location, walkable to all the sights in Strasbourg. Staff at reception could have been more welcoming and when we check in, only one person was working and seemed overwhelmed which impacted our first impressions. I was doubting my booking as the first evening they had a DJ blasting music in the restaurant and realised it probably wasn't suitable for a family stay with two young children. Room was large with no kettle or hairdryer. The stay included towels but no daily service which left bins and beds un made. The top bunk bed didn't have lights workings and the TV is only chrome cast. There was a sewage smell from the bathroom which we had to keep flushing the toilet to get rid of the smell. The breakfast was croissants, pain a chocolate, orange juice, filtered coffee, teas, cheese ..a small selection which wasn't refilled fast enough when times got busy. Would I stay here again .. only if I was on a budget.

No kitchen. No microwave for travellers. They run a restaurant instead. Breakfast is very simple. There were no locker cabinets or drawers in the room. There was a common locker room.(need to pay) Water pressure was weak in the shower.

Loved my female 4-bed room. There were convenient lockers in room, a great shower. Windows that opened for fresh air, and the beds did not squeak! Room was thoroughly cleaned each day, and a nice little breakfast was included. The staff were lovely and helpful. I stayed 3 nites, and would stay again. A good spot for solo female travellers.

The worst hostel experience. No dustbin in the room. No floor mat in the bath. Dirty sticky hairdryer. And add to all this no daily upkeep or or even providing with toilet paper, even though the property lists housekeeping as a service. So basically even the hey don't care about their rooms/property. Loud metal music performance which went on until 11 pm. Asked the staff for help with the cleaning and providing a bin but to no avail for all the three days. Finally I fetched the cleaning lady in the floor and asked for help. Falsely advertised double bed which is two single beds with a gap in the middle. Uncomfortable to sleep. When brought to the attention of the front desk manager his quip was \"do you want me to bring a bed for you now?\"

This property was in a decent location and that was about the only pro. It was so hot because there’s no air conditioning, even at night everyone in my room was sweating. There’s no lockers for your things. The staff was rude. There was so much loud noise outside until about 3am. The sink was clogged. There was no trash can in the room. To get an hour later checkout time was 15€. The carpet in the hallways was gross. There was nowhere to keep your own food.

Good Stay

This was the first time staying at a hostel and overall the experience was good. Check-in was easy, front desk receptionists were pleasant and accommodating. I shared a room with five other women-the beds were somewhat comfortable, sheets/pillows were very nice and the bed curtain provided privacy. The free breakfast consisted of bread, coffee, juices and fruit.

There is absolutely no early check-in so I essentially sat in their lounge for several hours as I did not want to leave my luggage in a room where there was no security. The lounge has nightly parties which go on until all hours of the night and get extremely noisy so if you are staying on the first floor which is over the lounge, bring good ear plugs if you want to get a decent night's sleep. The showers and bathrooms appeared clean but upon further inspection, you can see the mildew/dirt on the sides of the tiles.

As stated earlier, overall it was a good place to stay inexpensively in Strasbough; although personally I would pay the extra $20-30 more a night to stay at a 3-star hotel.

I lost my favorite special lock. cuz the bed stuffs was fluffy, couldn't check it perfectly. cuz of my train. first day, under the bunk bed, one couple stayed together. so i was a bit shocked. also there was a lot of men. room was stink. and noisy.

But second day, few of them left, and new comer was women, so there wasn't stink. quite and nice. if i have to stay in Strasbourg, i will defo visit here again.

Staff was really nice. The building and bar of the hostel were really cool. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Beds were comfy, showers were great. They don’t really have lockers in the room (just a small locking cabinet near your bed). Bathrooms were frequently missing toilet paper and hand soap. Hair dryers would have been nice especially since the Christmas markets are a big draw. (Realizing I had wet hair and no way to dry it before heading outside to the markets in cold & flu season not to mention with covid worries making getting a cold or flu even more annoying… hair dryers for guests might be a worthwhile investment.)

Les salles de bain étaient affreusement sales. J’ai eu une chambre au premier étage, en haut du bar, et la musique était extrêmement forte, jusqu’à en faire vibrer les meubles de la chambre. Embêtant pour dormir.

The bathrooms were terribly dirty. I had a room on the first floor, above the bar, and the music was extremely loud—so loud that it made the furniture in the room vibrate. Annoying for sleeping.

Tout est tres correct. Propreté. ambiance générale. Sympathie a l'accueil. Petit dejeuner jai pas voulu car je ne prends qu un Ricoré et 2 biscottes. Le gros gros problème matelas trop dur. Impossible de m'endormir. J ai mis 1h pour m'endormir malgré ma grande fatigue. Et j avoue que les sanitaires en commun jai détesté. Pour le prix et le peu de confort et d'intimité offerts ca reste trop cher. 37e aurait ete plus juste que 52e. Sinon biensur cest toujours mieux que rien car sans vous je ne serais jamais venue de Paris pour visiter cette magnifique ville. Peut-être a l'année prochaine et merci pour tout.

Ich hatte ein wirklich guten Aufenthalt! Die Zimmer und Sanitäranlagen waren extrem sauber und wurden täglich geputzt. In den 6er Zimmern war auch genügend Platz und sie verfügten über ein Waschbecken mit Spiegel, Spindts und einem Platz zum Aufhängen von den Jacken. Die Ausstattung in den Schlafkabinen/ Betten war auch mega - es gab 1 Steckdose und 2 zusätzliche USB Steckmöglichkeiten und es war richtig gemütlich. Die einzigen Kritikpunkte wären die wirklich laute und brummende Musik am Abend und dass man keine Möglichkeit hatte, größeres Gepäck sicher zu verstauen. Es gab nur 4 Spindts für 6 Betten die jedoch eine sehr kleine Größe hatten. Ansonsten war das Personal auch nett und hilfsbereit!
Die Lage war zudem ebenfalls perfekt und die Innenstadt war in 10 min zu Fuß zu erreichen. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!
