The Hotel does not have a Bar or Lounge as described on Hotels.com Website. This was one of the requirements we had when booking a Hotel in Strasbourg. There is only limited on site parking available at $30 per night, we parked in a public Parking GHouse close by. No complimentary water was supplied, no bathrobes, no washcloths, only one large and one small towel per person, the shower door was leaking at the bottom. The staff was very friendly, located in a quiet location but very close to the Christmas Market.

We had booked 2 superior rooms, on check-in one of the rooms was less than 15 feet from the main entrance and lobby, it had only one window so high that it could not be opened, and A/C was off for the season even though outside temps were warm.

Lovely hotel in a lovely city.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel du Dragon, the reception staff who greeted us were very helpful, knowledgeable & friendly. The hotel is on a side road a short walk into the centre of town so great location. Our room was spacious, clean & comfortable, also quiet. The bed was very comfy & we were glad of the air con due to us visiting while there was a heatwave. No parking available at the hotel but room around the corner in the multi storey car park. We really enjoyed staying here in Strasbourg & would return. Thank you to the staff at Hotel du Dragon.

I had looked forward to staying at this property, especially given the photos of the room type I selected, as it appeared to be a loft-like space in a venerable and architecturally interesting building. Furthermore, there was an indication that parking was available. INSTEAD - the room assigned was in a separate building that required access through a bike storage alley through another building to a new building in the midst of a parking lot that I was informed was already full and that I would need to park 7-10 minutes away in a municipal garage. While the location was fine and I felt the staff were engaging and helpful, I would not recommend staying here as it was a let down in terms of what I saw in the pictures and the kind of experience I felt I had paid for and reserved a full year ahead of time. Finally, I had to use the restroom at 3:00am to find it after flushing the water kept running and so at 3:15 I was dressing to go to the front desk to get help as I could not see any way to stop the water flow.

The family suite is spacious, with a view of lovely courtyard. It is a short walk away from Petite France, the major tourist attraction. We arrived the same hours the Olympic Torch reached the town. Traffic was restricted, but the hotel messaged us about it a week ago as soon as they were aware of the event. The front desk lady was also very caring, helping us settled after navigating the Olympic traffic control.

The hotel property is nice, rooms are well-lit, perhaps a little cramped by American standards but certainly adequate. Breakfast was excellent. HOWEVER, what really sets this property apart is the SERVICE! Wow, wow, WOW! Front desk personnel went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, not only in the hotel, but in the city. They called my favorite restaurant to see if we could be seated for dinner that week (they were booked solid for 3 weeks!), and when they could not get through on the telephone, they WALKED to the restaurant and talked with them, successfully securing a table for us for the next night. Unbelievable! I would definitely return.

Lovely Hotel with Great Breakfast

This is a very nice hotel, conveniently located near the Christmas market. Our room was large and the bed was comfortable. We just a few minor things that we wished were different. Parking is a total nightmare during the Christmas market (not the hotel's fault), so we ended up driving around in circles for 90+ minutes until finding an open spot at a parking garage. The hotel only has a few spots available and they were spoken for when we made the request about a month before our stay. Definitely make your request early if you can because the nearest garage is an easy 7-minute walk.

Outside of that, I would've preferred something other than an all-in-one shampoo and body wash option (it was hard on my hair). And there was no curtain on the bathroom window. It's a small window, so we were able to just put something in front of it. Minor things, of course, that wouldn't stop me from staying here again. I would just come prepared with my own shampoo/conditioner next time.

Afterwards, we discovered a charge on our credit card for our stay which shouldn’t have appeared since we paid when booking the hotel. Bookkeeping staff responded to my email and removed the charge. Expedia was no help in clearing this matter up.

Great location and the staff were the best out of everywhere we went on our trip which says allot since we went to strausboug, Innsbruck, Lucerne, Zurich, Renwegg, Verona, and Grindlewald. The onlyonly drawback was how tiny the room was. They did a great job with the mirror making the room look 10x larger than it was. The location was great and within walking distance to a great xmas market. The area is very safe to walk day or night.

Stylish and Modern in the heart of Strasbourg

This hotel combines contemporary design with original architectural features - wood timbers - to create a comfortable and esthetically pleasing environment. The service was professional and accommodating. We were greeted warmly at reception and the check in process was smooth. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable with plenty of space to put our luggage. The bathroom was also clean and well-designed. Air conditioning was a welcome amenity as we arrived during an extreme heat wave. WiFi was good, although for some reason we were not able to connect on the second day of our visit, and it seemed some other guests were having issues as well. The breakfast was not included in our room rate, but we had it the second day of our stay and it was excellent, with a choice of seating inside or out in the cute patio terrace in front of the hotel reception. The location was just on the other side of the canal that separates the old town from the new, but it was only a short walk to the cathedral and also to Petite France. Overall, our stay was very pleasant and we would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again if ever visiting Strasbourg in the future.

This hotel is charming and very centrally located. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is just right across the river and less than 5 minutes walk to the Cathedral and similar time to Little France. Our room was clean, comfortable and bright. We got the room at the very top with exposed beams and plenty of windows. Could see the Cathedral from one of our windows. Would definitely stay here again if and when we come back to Strasbourg.

Hotel Du Dragon was perfect for a getaway. The room was beautiful and the breakfast the next morning was excellent. The hotel is situated only minutes from the center allowing you to have the privacy you need to relax and quick access to the city when you want to be out. The staff was very friendly and offered a variety of suggestions of what to do while in the area. We would definitely stay here again during our next visit to the city.

Just an overnight stay both ways on the way to more distant place. This Hotel is very friendly and convenient although the rooms seem smaller now they have been refurbished and there was no chair to sit on in the room, but heh the bed was great and the bathroom good. We love the convience of the hotel for the old city centre.

Excellent Hotel Close to Old Town, was there for the Christmas Markets. Close enough to enjoy the atmosphere but quiet enough to be away from the noise.

Staff were all very helpful and polite. Extremely good English spoken.

Rooms were spotlessly clean and well heated. Bed was huge but the mattress was very hard - woke up aching in the morning:(

Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice cooked and uncooked - very tasty.

Stay was good, but in the process of being refurbished. So a bit... you know
New rooms are smart and clean but the water in the sink is too strong a flow and goes everywhere
The hotel has changed hands/management and the staff are no longer allowed to park our car nearby on the street or make sure that all parking fees are kept upto date in our absence (all to do with insurance apparently) but the removal of this is particularly urksome

They locked me out and fell asleep

I returned back after a business dinner relatively late. I was locked out of the hotel and the person at the front desk had fallen asleep. Multiple calls went unanswered. I did not know if anyone was even in there. After almost 3 hours outside the locked gate in the middle of the night, I called one more time, and the groggy front desk attendant answered and let me in. I will never stay here again.

Had a family room which had 2 bedrooms- very clean modern and comfortable. The location of this hotel perfect- in between the cathedral area one way, or Petite France area the other. Only negative- parking in nearest garage cost Eu20 for 24 hours, and breakfast also not free.

Perfect location for visiting Petit France, the Notre Dame, and exploring the shopping streets. We liked that it was on the other side of the river because it was a little quieter for our baby.

Hotel staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good, but not worth 12 euro/person, in my opinion. Shower was too strong for size of tub and water got all over the floor. Toilet wasn't great at flushing. Room was very nice. Overall we would go back, but would find breakfast elsewhere.

Lovely room, was upgraded on arrival and the room setup was great, nice sheets and general fixtures etc. Much nicer than most similar star rating hotels. Very clean. Great staff, really helpful. Fairly basic breakfast but perfectly ok. Really the only downside was the lack of air conditioning. I opened the windows but the noise was a slight problem. If it wasn't the middle of summer wouldn't have been an issue.

The hotel was very adequate and the staff were extremely helpful with dinner recommendations and directions around town. They also took care of feeding the parking meter during our stay. Great location -easy walk to the action. But the wifi was horrendous- did not work in room and was spotty even in the lobby. Do not stay here if you rely on wifi access.

A short taxi ride from the train station. We arrived very early and were able to store our luggage while we explored the city. Staff was very helpful with directions to a laundry facility as well as providing champagne glasses for our own bottle purchased on a champagne tour in Reims. Lovely courtyard to sit and plan your day in. 10 minute walk along the river to get to the cathedral in one direction, 10 minute walk in the other to Petite France. The hotel also has a lift which was a nice surprise since we were staying on the top floor.

We loved our stay at Hotel du Dragon, for both the location (quiet but walking distance to La Petite France and the Cathedral) and the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. We had wonderful views from our windows, yet it was peaceful and quiet. We had a cozy upper level room with spacious bathroom; it was super clean and comfortable.
