Loved staying here. Clean room with mini-kitchen was a great place to stay for a week. It's right on one of the streetcar lines with easy access to everything else in the city.

Due to the ferry being delayed we were later to check in than we anticipated. This meant that we arrived after 6pm and the reception was shut. We managed to get into the reception but did not have a code to collect our key for the room. After phoning up the number provided we finally managed to get our room key but it meant a stressful start to our holiday.
The location next to a tram stop was good and it was easy to navigate into the city on public transport. Not much else around the hotel though. The room was clean and quiet and suited our needs for a 2 night stay.

Air Conditional spoilt. Water dispensal spoilt. Do note that the hotel is next to tram stops, hence it is very noisy and disturbing at night. Train ends at 12.30am and starts at 5am. I had two terrible sleepless night. Worse i have to open the room windows as the whole building air-con not working.

Great place to stay just outside Strasbourg

We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s right next to a tram station, which was perfect for getting to Strasbourg. The tram was a little noisy but not unbearable. The room had plenty of space & stayed nice & warm. We sometimes had difficulty locking the door when we left, but the door can’t be opened without the key & the building can’t be accessed without a code so we weren’t too worried about our stuff. Definitely appreciated the affordable, gated parking lot.

arrived 10pm had trouble getting into hotel as reception closed at 9pm , lucky for us another customer came along and got us into reception and into the safe where our room keys were left , if this customer hadnt have come along we would have had to spend the night in the car !

First off - the hotel is located in the worst kind of suburban \"desert\". There are no shops or restaurants other than discount grocers (Lidl) and McDonald's. Fortunately, it is right on a tram line, which is efficient, cheap, and gets you into downtown Strasbourg in minutes. Otherwise, the room is fine (there's even a distant view of the Cathedral if your room faces north), the breakfast was fine, the room was clean, the beds were fine, etc. Just don't expect to be in the middle of the action if you stay here! Note: the kitchenette was small (only 2 people could comfortably sit at the table, no oven just a hob/stovetop and microwave, the tiny freezer didn't really freeze water, no dishwasher). The laundry facilities were small (one washer and one dryer) but worked very well. Soap, towels, dish cleaning materials, and cookware were all supplied free of charge.

The hotel didn't replace towels each day even when they had all been used and left in the shower for cleaning staff. The fact the reception isn't staffed all the time means any problems in this regard will have to wait until morning. The bed sheets also hadn't been changed each day.

Nice value for money hotel near IRCADS

I came to Sxb for IRCADS surgical programme at Hospital civil. Ofcourse they have Haras hotel in the campus but it was costly. This hotel is on a direct tram line (Illkirch-Graffenden to Parc de sports) joining hospital & railway station(Gare Centrale). Its just next to Colonne station. Visitors maybe aware that Air France connection from Paris CDG to Strasbourg is thru SNCF TGV rail,so its entry and exit point to strasbourg.
Coming to Adagio hotel its modern hotel with minimal staff presence. Mini kitchnette with cooking utensils,microwave,hot stove,fridge all is available. So its a boon for people who like to cook. Beds are comfortable,attached toilets have bathtub,hot water etc. Nearby are shopping centres so anything can be bought.
only problem happened that i had a morning train to paris and tram service start around 5 AM,so for safety had to take taxi-28€ charged,time taken-20 min.
Staff are helpful but limited. Maybe its nice. Morning breakfast is available at 9€. Never needed to attend.,as had enough of my own....
Highly Recommended.

the hotel is a functional base of opperations. the tram is close, as is a large supermarket. this makes getting in and out of Strasbourg very easy and painless. the hotel itself is functionable, it is not overly comfortable. the only place to sit is on a kitchen chair and the matress on the bed is woefully thin. if you only want a room to sleep in than this is it.

Plain, a bit out of town, but great price and easy transportation out front

It was a bit far out of town, but the trolley literally stopped at the door of the hotel. We did hear the trolley into the night, but it did not bother us at all. Kitchen facilities were very basic, but had a microwave and stove top and enough plates and cutlery. There was no counter space. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly enough. For the price, we would be happy to stay there again. We have three kids, age 1, 3 and 5. They had a baby cot for our youngest, the two oldest slept on the pull out couch and we had the bedroom. Worked great!

The room was big enough for the two of us. We have enjoyed the kitchennette available in the room. The location is a bit far from the tourist attractions, however it did not much of the issue since we were driving. The room will need some upgrade. The one issue we had to wait one hour for the check out. I have arrainged to check out at 0600hrs, the day before and were told not a problem, and some one will be available, but next morning noone was there until 0700hrs.

Comfortable budget hotel

Easy to find off the nearby motorway and perfectly OK for a night or two. Tram into city centre costs 1.80eur one way and takes 15 minutes get off at Fez de Homme. No wi fi in rooms and a 2 euro charge for the car park. Hotel is a little odd but clean and quiet.

Fantastic location if you want a budget hotel room out of the centre with free parking, right next to a tram stop. There's also a huge Walmart type supermarket just one tram stop away if you need to stock up. Unfortunately the lobby and corridors have a really unpleasant smell...and my room was a bit musty although fine when aired. The wi-fi however was a complete joke and I was unable to complete any work because of it. For this reason I would not stay again. Strasbourg btw is lovely and should not be missed!

We stayed a couple of nights at this hotel, had a great experience. The staff were very helpful, our room was clean and had a handy little kitchen. The hotel was conveniently located right across from the tram station. Large shopping centre only about 15 mins walk away. Would definitely stay again.

great place to stay near Strasbourg

positives - very accessible via tram to the city center. The rooms were nice and clean - actually better than the Adagio we stayed in Paris a few weeks ago. Negatives - very strange, confusing parking system. We had to park the car on the curb, run along the front and get the code. Very inconvenient too.

The suite was very nice. Our party included 3 adults and 3 young children. The hotel even offered cribs. The smallish kitchen and table were a bit cramped, but served our needs well. The morning breakfast was nice and the staff friendly. The biggest perk was the convenience of the tram, it was literally at the front door. I would stay here again.

Once you know what to expect, this \"hotel\" (it is really a residential apartment complex with some \"day-rental\" rooms) is really a good deal.
Nice room with kitchenette, great location on main tram line into Strasbourg, great value. But no front desk staffing except during limited daytime hours, no maid service on weekend, no hotel-ish amenities. And make sure to arrive while the desk is open; we didn't (admittedly my fault for not taking seriously the \"open\" hours listed on the confirmation), and had to solve the puzzle of how to contact someone and get inside past the locked front door and deserted, lights-off foyer. We were saved by the manager of the pizza place down Rue Industrial (please patronize him!), who called the \"emergency number\" for us (no pay phones in area). Once contacted, Citea staff was very helpful, and everything worked out fine. This sort of facility would be great for week-long stays; efficient and affordable, with easy transportation options (tram to city, free parking for car used in day trips to area). Just would have been nice to have better disclosure of the nature of the facility beforehand.

LOCKED OUT OF HOTEL - COULD NOT CHECK IN AT 10PM

The hotel Citea Strasbourg Illkirch was difficult to find because it is at a corner of a light rail station where there is no parking out front, not a visible sign, and when I arrived at slightly after 10pm, the front door was locked. The hotel looked like a residential apartment building with a intercom at the locked front door. When dialed the number per the instruction, the call got disconnected. There was neither communication nor instruction from the hotel or hotels.com how I could get through the front door. The front desk behind the window appeared to be closed and nobody was there. I eventually had to yell at a hotel resident who was at the balcony to come downstairs and open the front door to let me in. The hotel guest opened a lockbox next to the front desk with his key and found me an envelop with my name on it to my room. This is an experience not to be forgotten and I will never recommend this hotel to any other visitors!

Conveniently located hotel, although not in the centre of the city, right next to tram stop Colonne (line A), with tram service from 04.15 till 00.15 hours (approximately). Nice, comfortable and clean rooms with a seperate kitchenette (including microwave). Friendly and pleasant staff.

Etat des lits du canape lit horrible,il y avait des nombreuses tâches sur le matelas, il etait tres sale, son etat est honteux, ma fille n a pas dormi dedans...
Je remercie le monsieur de la reception pour sa gentillesse et compréhension nous avons eu une seconde chambre pour que nos enfants dorment dans un lit propre..

Die Zimmer in der Unterkunft sind sehr geräumig und sauber. Leider wird nur oberflächlich geputzt, Auf den Schränken selbst bzw. In den Ecken selbst ist es nicht sauber.

Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral mit der vor der Haustür befindeten Straßenbahn. Für eine Nacht in Ordnung, für mehr leider nicht.

Endroit assez bien placé mais nécessite de réserver une place de parking car difficile d'en trouver une passé une certaine heure.
J'ai eu un problème d'accès à ma chambre (lecteur de carte magnétique HS), j'ai dû attendre plus d'une heure un soir pour entrer dans mon logement et je n'ai reçu aucun geste commercial...
Le logement en lui-même était propre, en revanche, le couloir pour y accéder sentait très fortement la friture...
Bilan mitigé pour mon passage dans cette établissement.

Die Unterkunft liegt unmittelbar an der Haltestelle einer Tramlinie, die in nur wenigen Minuten (circa 10-12 Minuten) in die Innenstadt von Straßburg fährt. Für Autos sind reichlich Parkplätze gegen eine Tagesgebühr vorhanden. Für ein verlängertes Wochenende sehr gut geeignet.

Hotellet ligger meget godt i forhold til offentlig transport, letbanen stopper lige uden for receptionen.
Ikke et hotel for parfumeallergikere, da reception/fællesareal var stærkt parfumeret på alle tider af døgnet.

Le tramway longe et s'arrête devant l'hôtel,
La circulation automobile est dense ( carrefour avec feux tricolores.
Bien que l'hôtel accueille peu de personne, il a été impossible d'avoir une place de parking en sous-sol : cela semble réservé seulement à quelques privilégiés.

Für das was geboten wird zu teuer. Internationales Haus und nähe Deutsche Grenze und denoch nur Französische TV Sender, wurde bereits kritisiert, das aber intetessiert die wohl nicht. Am Sonntag zum Frühstück keine Servietten vorhanden und das in einem Hotel wo man pro Nacht 140.00 bezahlt. Junges Personal, unerfahren, so kann man auf Kosten des Gastes sparen oder eben Geld verdienen. Positiv: Tram vor der Tür.

Cuisine petite mais fait son taf.
Lit plutôt confortable même si il grince à certains moments.
Les murs ne sont pas très épais donc on entend tout.
Vrai seul problème le bruits du climatiseur donc on n'entend pas beaucoup la télé ce qui est gênant.
Par contre 10/10 au personnel qui m'a accueilli et pour la prolongation de mon séjour.

Chambre assez ordinaire, cuisine trop petite et peu fournie en vaisselle, salle d'eau correcte sans plus, personnel d'accueil agréable, situation idéale pour visiter Strasbourg avec le tram.
Trop de codes d'accès différents.
En gros séjour correct pais pas inoubliable.

Très bon accueil, excellent petit déjeuner avec choix (bowl, pancake à faire soit même, bretzel, fruits frais). Literie de confort. Je recommande!

Très correct

Hôtel très propre et bien situé. Les appartements sont spacieux juste une remarque nous avions réservé plusieurs chambres et nous étions tous dispatche c’est dommage. Pour ne pas être dans cette situation il faut les prévenir en amont.

Accueil chaleureux par le personnel de l'après-midi (à mon arrivée) comme du matin (à mon départ).
J'ai beaucoup apprécié le message personnalisé laissé sur la table à côté d'une petite attention destinée à me souhaiter la bienvenue.
Le confort et la quiétude des lieux m'ont particulièrement plu.
Seul bémol, le bruit de la clim', la nuit, pourrait en rebuter certains, en particulier les personnes qui n'ont pas l'habitude d'avoir un peu de bruit chez eux (ou dehors) durant la nuit.
A part ça, c'est royal. Vraiment, j'ai adoré séjourné là, bien que brièvement.
