Great location but property getting run down

I have stayed at this property before when it was called Fraser Suites. It seems like the quality has gone down. The room that I was in was not in very good condition and it was freezing cold. The breakfast was just okay - not as good as it used to be. I spoke to someone at the front desk. They brought me a heater for the room but I was still cold all night. I was disappointed in the whole experience. Probably won't stay there again.

I recently stayed at the Ascott and while the people there were friendly and the shower was nicer, Fraser Place is superior in all other aspects. Friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast is a mix of Western and Chinese, the furniture, including the bed is very comfortable, which is incredibly important, as someone accustomed to softer beds than one can normally find in China.

Clean and comfortable nice size apartments, outside of the buildings need a lick of paint, situated ideally to walk around Shekou, Staff very helpful and overall was good value for the money, would stay again
(Taxi tip ) show the driver the card for the hotel as many of them do not speak English

Property running down. Mildew and mold smell permeating rooms and hallways. Had to change from modern room with good view to old fashioned one over parking lot to get away from the bad smell. Hard beds. Slow internet.

the property is a little tired, and breakfast was very crowded although the food quality was good with a good assortment of dishes. Our apartment was larger than expected with great views of the shekou area. Well equipped.

Great place to stay if you would rather feel like you are in an apartment vs. a hotel. The place is an Expat serviced apartment complex, so many foreigners and families here (if you don't like kids you should look for another place). They have a great outdoor pool and nice gym. Great breakfast as well.

They were renovating the outside of the building. I would wake up in the morning with workers talking outside my window. I couldn’t use my patio because they were painting all week. Lobby and hallways smell bad.

Great place to stay in Shenzhen

For the business traveller that is fed up with staying in yet another hotel. Try the Fraser Place - it provides a far more home from home experience. Comfortable, clean and in a quiet area of Shenzhen but convenient. Highly recommended.

good for families with lots of kids.

Old looking furniture and in need of Tody up. However, it's clean with large spacious rooms and convenient for Seaworld which has many bars and restaurants. apartment facilities are very good. Pity there is construction going on right below some of the apartments as don't stop work until midnight and even then some of the trucks continue working.

Great Shekou Location

Great Location. Walking distance to the Sea World Centre area. 5 min taxi ride to the Ferry Terminal. The subway construction was not as bad and loud as I was warned it would be, which is a good thing. The only negative is that they closed the pool for the 'cold' season. For most Westerners, Shenzhen in November is still very warm. It would have been nice to have been able to use the pool. The complimentary breakfast each morning was very plentiful.

Nice place that is showing its age.

Fraser is in a great location. Close to the action without the noise. Hotel staff was very helpful.
While closed during the \"winter\", the pool is beautiful. My complaint is in the condition of the room. Nicks and dings everywhere. Its just showing its age. Also, visible footprints on the floor and mold on the shower head. I'd stay again, but will also look elsewhere.

Close to Seaworld and the Shekou tourist areas.

Very enjoyable stay. Prompt roomservice, delicious menu and a supremely comfortable bed. Waking distance to all restaurants and bars of the Seaworld area and only 10 mins walk from the SZ Metro.
Would absolutely stay here again!!

Shekou Stay

We had a great stay and experience at CM+. Staff were very courteous and helpful. The room configuration we booked was no longer offered (posting error at Hotel.com website) but the staff immediately upgraded us to a bigger unit with our stipulated configuration. The unit was like newly renovated. Location wise, it is just a short walk from the mtr lines 2 and 12. I highly recommend CM+.
