We had a wonderful stay at Heritage Village for my birthday. Every single staff member was excellent- friendly, courteous and helpful. I can't remember all of their names but do remember Ganesh and Abigail on reception along with Naira and Balakrishna at Chutney. We spoke to the lovely female head chef at Chutney to thank her for the wonderful breakfast buffets - again her name eludes me but she was so sweet and does an excellent job. The food at both breakfast and the restaurants was out of this world and the service was impeccable throughout. Staff were so sweet in helping with any request. The rooms could be upgraded, that's my only criticism. Otherwise we were very happy, especially with the beautiful towel art for my birthday from the housekeeping team. We'll be back! Thank you to all staff for making our stay amazing

Apart from the nice lobby, sushi restaurant massages and clean pool... don't bother.
The rooms are old, power cut off and on , breakfast is lacking and not fresh, hot water will burn you and the overall condition of the hotel is lacking. Better choices exist.

Very pleasant resort. Mainly British guests. Not as many small children as I had feared. The beach, à short walk away, was wonderful. Some pleasant waves. Ideal temperature. Very nice beach shack (not affiliated) with lounge chairs and good food and drink. Good restaurants in the resort and excellent breakfast.

Incredible hotel! Staff were amazing and I would particularly note how amazing the two onsite restaurants are! The only area which could be slightly improved are the buffet breakfasts as the western options weren’t the best in terms of how they were cooked (the eggs for example). This wasn’t enough to move it down from 5 stars however given almost everything else was perfect! I would also mention the cocktails which were amazing!

Property is in a beautiful area and has a beautiful pool area and three very good restaurants. I did have issues with the cleaning service in the room and a foul smell that gets worse in the afternoon. This is a 4 star property and they need to give attention to the sewage issues- instead of just putting diffuser as a temporary fix. Staff were all attentive and service was outstanding.

This property and staff way exceed my expectations. I recommend this facility unreservedly to anyone. I took my mom for her 84th birthday. It is safe, the staff are personable courteous and respectful. This is a very family friendly place and the guests too (during the time i was there Mar 23 to Apr 2) were well behaved folks. I wouldn’t consider myself a world traveller, but have travelled some, and stayed in many upscale hotels for work. Not sure if this facility ranks among the luxury hotels, but I would have to say for price the standards and quality are impeccable. The facility is full of amazing landscaping, blooming flowers. A 5 minute walk to the beach which is super clean and quiet.

I hate to write a bad review publicly and tried to take my issues up with management multiple times, but I was ignored both in person and over multiple email threads, so here we are. Staying here was a disaster from the moment we checked in. It took the front desk over an hour to find our reservation and upon checking in to our room, we found the beds and floor covered with dirt and dust. My friend killed 3 bugs in the first hour we were there. The hot water in our room didn't work so we were stuck taking cold showers, at a place that charged us over $200 a night. We ate at the hotel restaurant which had flies around the buffet food and looked very unhygienic. Then we were served lattes with expired milk (it looked like chunky yogurt). Not sure what sort of hotel can claim to be 5 stars with this many issues.

The hotel is truly in the middle of nowhere so you can't walk to stores, an ATM, etc and they have an arrangement with the local cab drivers where the cabs have to pay the hotel a hefty kickback of what they earn (um....how is this legal?) so it will cost you a minimum of 3500 rupees to leave the property. The cab drivers explained this to us and I felt bad - someone needs to call out management on this terrible arrangement.

I tried to take this up with the manager, Ganesh, who assured me we could have a refund if we left. However, he has ignored my emails and not given us a refund for the 3 nights we didn't stay there. Please, please, don't waste your time here.

It is very well laid out and family friendly. The staff around the property are incredibly attentive to the needs and requests of guests. The place is quiet but easily accessible. The pool is great with the cordoned off shallow pool especially attractive for little kids and the sanity of their parents. The staff at the check in, while helpful, could be slightly more efficient. All in all, we would visit the resort again. It was a lovely stay.

This was me and my wife's first trip to Goa and we couldn't have asked for anything better. We stayed 6 nights and the entire experience from check-in to check-out was excellent.
We had the garden facing Club room which was a great decision. The balcony opens out to a lovely quiet lawn with deck chairs and coffee tables. Highly recommend it. The food was outstanding and there are plenty of options. The restaurant staff is polite, courteous and very accommodating. The pools, one for adults and a smaller kiddie pool are very clean and well stocked with floats for non-swimmers and kids. They also have a nice activity room that we thoroughly enjoyed - especially carrom and table tennis. The beach is just a couple of minutes walk from the resort. Lovely relaxing massages are a must at the Ayura Health Centre which you have to pay for, but is very cheap compared to home. I apologize i do not have the names but would like to thank the very friendly and professional therapists there.
Another positive - only 20 minutes from the airport :)

We had an excellent holiday, value for money.
Starting from airport transfer, check in and all amenities in the resort is well taken care of.
Be practical and honest. We were always within the property and never had any issue with food which is cooked fresh and safe.
Managers try their best to acommodate all our requests.
I heard they are going to celebrate silver jubilee soon, still its looking fresh and colorful
Small issues, but they manage and resolve soon.

this is not a five-star hotel, but it is very good and reasonably priced...located near a very good beach. Food was fairly mediocre. Omlets at breakfast were good. We were happy we hadn't bought a full food plan since we enjoyed different restaurants in the evenings. We were also happy we did not get a pool view room. They have evening music programs that would have been annoying for us.

All inclusive isn’t all inclusive.

This is my second trip back to this hotel because it was so lovely, last year with a friend and this year with my family. Both times I selected the all inclusive package. Unfortunately, the hotel has redefined the meaning of “all inclusive.”
The hotels.com app gives several meal options, the highest option being the all inclusive. Last year, all inclusive meant: free airport transportation, free WiFi, free drinks (alcohol and regular beverages), all meals, and snacks - the true meaning of “all inclusive.”
This year all inclusive has been stripped and reduced to: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Also in the app, it states that you will be receiving the all inclusive, but after the payment was made, the confirmation number came with the words “full board” rather than “all inclusive.” I am not a fan of the bait and switch/false advertising. If the hotel wants to save money by not offering free alcohol, fine, but how much is it really costing them to let people have a freaking Pepsi with their meal on an “all inclusive” package?
The free WiFi was so slow I could hardly send a txt message and ended up having to pay for WiFi anyway.
This experience was very off putting. Don’t call something all inclusive when it clearly is not, you stingy cheap buggers. When I click on and pay for all inclusive, it should be all inclusive.
After saying that, the property is beautiful, activities throughout the day, live music in the evenings, courteous staff, great food, and a beautiful beach.

Slightly older property needing a little touch of TLC, but very acceptable nevertheless. Breakfast was somewhat \"standard\" but still acceptable. The pool was good, wifi a little slow but also acceptable. The location was the best thing about it, a short stroll (400 yards) to a beach of surpassing beauty. And very few people on it. This alone was worth the trip.

Beautiful maintained Portuguese style villas, freshly painted, beautiful landscaping surrounding the property.
Very comfortable and beautifully updated rooms, only downside was ac unit was extremely loud.
This resort doesn’t have its own private beach access, and requires a short walk down a quiet quaint dead end road that leads to the beach. Hardly anyone was on the beach and it was just lovely. Great waves, great sand, and great water temp. There is a small food shack that has umbrellas and sun loungers, just buy something and you can stay there all day.
The resort occupants were mostly retired age, and seemed to hail from Great Britain, Russia, and Germany. They were all very nice and mostly sat at the pool all day.
Evenings always had some type of entertainment show which was nice.
The surrounding area is quaint and quiet, not much to do outside the resort...although I was on the beach all day every day ha!
Only about 20 minutes from the airport as well, so that was handy.
Our flight out wasn’t until 5, so we asked them for a late check out, and they let us keep the room until we left for the airport. The staff was so kind and accommodating.
Over all, this was a great stay and I would definitely come back with my family.

Hotel is a little dated. But staff were very nice, and the gardens of the hotel are lovely. Food wasn't very exciting, and glasses weren't clean. The taxis outside the hotel are extortionate in comparison, the hotel should be doing something about this. Normal taxi drivers weren't allowed to pick us up from the hotel, we had to use the service provided outside the hotel. Entertainment is very dated, not for a young couple.

We only stayed for one night before an early morning flight. Pool was lovely but there was a gala night that went on late and our balcony was right onto the night therefore not much chance of an early night. We had asked for a taxi to be ordered in the morning but they hadn’t ordered it so we were 10 minutes later than planned and the reception staff didn’t seem too bothered. Rooms had a slight damp smell and a general feeling of a thin layer of dirt but nothing to be too bothered by. Overall a nice hotel for more than one night.

Relax in Comfort in Goa

This is an excellent all-inclusive option for people looking to stay close to the beach in Goa. The service is first rate, from the front desk staff to the waiters and bar tenders. Salome at the front desk even helped us celebrate our anniversary by having cake and wine delivered to our room! Food in general is plentiful and there are always plenty of vegetarian options at the buffet as well as tasty snacks poolside twice a day. The bar service (both in the main hotel and poolside) includes soft drinks, beer, fruit juices, liquor, and wine.

The room was spacious and clean, and the AC and fan keep it nice and cool despite the heat and humidity. The bathroom was also clean and spacious and, with the energy saving boiler, you will get a nice hot shower with plenty of water pressure.

The hotel pool is nice and the beach is a very short walk (about 400 meters away). We always felt safe on the walk (though there are some stray dogs on the beach and in the road). When we left our stuff on a chaise lounge by the pool all day, we always felt comfortable that it would be there when we got back from lunch or the beach. The hotel also has a game room with free ping pong and the rooms have good satellite cable.

The hotel offered free pick up and drop off from the airport and to the train station that went very smoothly and was coordinated easily by the English-speakiing staff.

All in all, we could not have been happier with our stay here and highly recommend this property.

Friendly hotel close to a quiet beach and approx 30 mins from airport . We opted for the grand club package all inclusive. Unfortunately there we some initial hitches with the bed arrangements with our room I advise emailing ahead as none of our requests had gotten through to the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and ours as do most , overlooked the pool . It’s a relatively small hotel with an friendly atmosphere where many people come back year after year and meet up with other holiday makers. The basic all inclusive is all standard spirits , beer and local wine and all meals and snacks throughout the day and a visit or two to the al a Carey restaurant depending on how long you stay .All inc ends at 11pm . If you opt for grand club there are extras including , free massage for 2 persons , free transfers to airport ,premium spirits and larger wine varieties. The staff do their utmost to help and the reception staff and all waiting staff are very friendly and cheerful. The beach near by has water sports and some boat trips which are very good and can be booked through the hotel (not included). There is also kayaking close by and about an hour away to a very good market.

Had a great time. Everything was bang on. Lovely big room and so well looked after by the staff. If we asked for anything they went out of their way to sort it for us. They really enhanced our first experience of India too. Very keen to share their knowledge of the place.
If I'm being really really fussy the only things I could complain about was a slightly repetitive selection in the buffet and no hot water in the shower.

Really disappointed all the way from Canada and it's not what you see in pictures. Very old and tired property. The rating is about 1 star, all food is spicy, rooms smell, no power outlets to charge phones, beds are for 5 year olds small and really old mattresses. They had to change sheets blood on it. We had 2 rooms same issues in both. The AC TOO NOICY can't sleep, the sprayed a chemical to God the old room smell can't breath too strong. This toilet so high Ian 5:11 \" can't sit on it comfortably, for hot water need to press button and wait 15 minutes, only I can go on. I am not picky I travel all over the world and his hotel was completly misrepresent.

Not the same star rating as hotel rating

I did not think that this hotel was a five star hotel as the staff kept saying. I did not agree with their rating and I would only give it 3.5 star rating. We had to turn on the hot water gizzer 15 minutes prior to showering and unfortunately we had some ant issues in the bathroom basin, which they ratified for a day but the ants came back next day.

Last minute decision as we had missed out flight. Close to airport. You need to buy the all inclusive tariff as that is the only way the hotel wants to work it. Full of families with screaming kids that pig out at the buffet.

Very Nice place to stay in South Goa

Nice Place to stay in South Goa.
We did not know this was an All-inclusive resort. When we got to the resort, we found out. But over all was a very nice place. Beach is also very nice, clean, not at all crowded. Food was nice too.
Just one complain, if you want to go out via Taxi, they charge like 3-4 times the price. They need to have a meter system or some gov. regulated rates!!! This was the only disappointing thing.

Friendly hotel

Smallish hotel with very good service. Loved the yoga class every morning.Activities were fun.Buffet could have had more choices. It was slightly inconvenient to have to switch water heater on for 15 minutes prior to having a shower.

A great hotel close to beach

We visited the Heritage from the 22nd of October for 17 days and from moment one with the warm, kind and efficient welcome by Anne we felt right at home. The place is great for a quite retreat from worldly worries and cares. The staff are excellent and could not do enough to make you feel right at home. The food was great and the chef was attentive in case there was nothing on the menu that suited our palate. The staff in the dining room were friendly and Peter was an ever present to look after our needs. The whole of the animation team are to be commended because that got this couch potato to participate and enjoy the activities. Over all I would highly recommend this hotel and I look forward to visiting again in the not too distant future.

That's the second time I stayed in this hotel as me and my partner liked it very much the last time. If you are an Indian food lover you are going to eat a lot of it and you will enjoy it. Hotel staff is always very helpfull and friendly, they will always do their best to please you. Hotel is on the more relaxing south side of goa with breathtaking beach just 2 minutes away. Pool area is good enough too with bar and all amenities. The only problem is very poor standard of the rooms which really need some update, shaky sockets , old ac unit, constantly breaking toilet flush.

great place to relax and be with your loved ones

Overall, we had a lovely vacation at Heritage. Was not too kicked about it when i booked, but once we stayed there..leaving the place made me sad. Felt like home with the over-friendly staff- the people at the reception, the bar, the pool, the restaurant. The walk on the serene and quiet Arrosim beach was memorable. pool side activities, the bar near the pool. The dinner time events; karoake, DJ and solo singing was entertaining
I recommend this resort to all those who wish to have a peaceful and relaxing holiday, restrict yourself to the resort as there is lots happening around in it, parents with kids, to groups of friends.
Rooms are very well equipped.
Amazing resort.

Lovely Stay in Goa at Heritage Villa!

Our family recently went to Goa. We had a lovely stay at Heritage Villa. The rooms were nice and roomy. The pool was great! It is 400 meters from a beautiful beach! The staff was very kind and accommodating! The food was delicious at every meal! We enjoyed our stay here at Heritage Villa and would return here. We would recommend to our friends and others. It is a family friendly hotel as well.

Package Holiday Hotel - OK For A Cheapie

I chose this hotel because of it's location, price and all inclusive basis as a weekend break in a business trip. Around 80% of the guests are on Thompson package holidays, 18% from Russia on similar package holidays and around 2% were independent travellers like myself. I took their top room which included bottled water - other guests have to fill up their own flasks from water coolers in the corridors. Inclusive buffet restaurant was OK but not great - carton juices for breakfast instead of fresh. Mango Terrace serves good food but is not in the inclusive package. Forrest Restaurant was virtually deserted as it was not included in the all inclusive packages. A lot of the booze is also not included in the all inclusive. Internet is not in the all inclusive either. For an all inclusive, I was amazed at how much was not included! It took them a good half an hour to work out how to take payment with an Amex card on checkout. Staff are generally nice and friendly with the odd grump and the rooms and property are clean. The best thing about this hotel is the relatively isolated location on a great beach which I loved. Tried the pool once but the package holidayers had bagged all the sun beds before dawn... I wouldn't stay here again but it is obviously very popular with folk who enjoy package holidays - if this is your thing, I'm sure you'll love it.

Nice Friendly Hotel Near the Beach

A very comfortable hotel in a convenient location to many places around Goa. It is a very short walk from a great beach. The food is very good and the service is excellent. A fine place to have a value for money family holiday. I will definitely stay again.

Good hotel, a tad overpriced

Good hotel with decent food, drinks and amenities.
Service was good, but staff was not courteous on some instances. Most of the staff do not seem to believe in the \"service with a smile\" adage. Better grooming and training of staff is a must if this hotel has to climb up the ratings. The room (Superior with a pool view) was good but the bathroom was too small and dark.

Good resort for all inclusive package.

The most basic rooms(superior rooms) are awefull and not worthy of even a 3* facility but they upgraded it the next day after I complained. The design room was great with pool view. Their service is really good.

Had a fantastic time with my wife and my 1 yr old daughter at this peaceful and quiet resort at South Goa. The best part about the resort is the hotel staff who is extremely helpful and accommodating. Second comes the resort itself which isn't right on the beach but a short 5 min walk from the resort. But when you reach the beach it looks a private beach as you wouldn't find too many people around. This resort is a steal if you want to just relax and not roam around in Goa. It has a good spacious pool plenty of room for sun bathing and good night entertainment. The only mishap that happened which was right in the beginning when they didn't send a car for pickup and gave the room half an hour late in-spite of us already being late due to late flight arrival but they tried making it up by upgrading us to a suite room which worked in a way as the room was indeed good. In terms of food quality its excellent although the spread could be better.
All in all a wonderful experience and would want to go back to the resort for the next Goa visit.

Must say that the management at Heritage Village is absolutely fantastic. As this trip was booked to celebrate our 15th Wedding Anniversary, we were given room upgrade along with cake & lovely bouquet of flowers. One of us had stomach upset, staff provided us with medication and also fruits were sent to our room. This is what I call taking initiative & exceeding expectations. Will definitely go there again.

Great Way to Relax with no Worries

Its a real ALL INCLUSIVE deal. BF, Lunch, & Dinner was really good. Staff is well trained & courteous. Unlimited Snacks all thru day with drinks & ice cream was icing on top of cake. Great ambience. Worth every penny. The only negative: the swimming pool was always crowded with foreigners playing volleyball. So a peaceful swim after a visit to the beach was missed badly.

People interested in Water sports would have to walk on the beach under the hot sun for a good 10-15 minutes. It may be a good idea to hire bicycles!
