Location is amazing, others were not on the same level

We had an amazing stay! Everything was clean, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, breakfast was delicious, and the pool was perfect for relaxing. A fantastic experience from start to finish. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and the views were amazing. We had a suite with a private pool (two bedrooms + pull out couch, two bathrooms) very roomy and comfortable! We would highly recommend.

Wonderful stay. Beautiful resort away from
the busy tourist area. Restaurant food was excellent. Amazing staff and service. Free parking. Recommend renting a car as taxis are not too available. About a 20-25 min drive to Fira. If you are looking for a place to stay that is quiet, romantic, with fantastic views of the Caldera, this is the place to stay.

Amazing, hands down staying here was the highlight of the trip. The view is breathtaking. Staff is very accommodating, front office staff had our room ready before check in time and even offered us breakfast.
Phil
Lovely, clean rooms, fantastic views and very tranquil. Superb location for a quiet and romantic break for a couple.

Really good breakfast every morning, pool was nice and clean just really cold, room was clean and hotel was overall clean, staff was super nice and friendly and helpful
Highly recommend! And the views!!! The views are insane, I also loved that it was more quiet, I couldn’t even imagine staying in Fira or Oia with all the busyness, so it was nice driving there to site see and shop and have dinner (which was like 23 min away) and then later go back to our hotel
If you’re looking for some peace and quiet and a relaxing stay definitely recommend staying here

Welcoming, and relaxing place.

What a beautiful property this is! We had a junior suite, garden view room, but we had a beautiful view of the water from our patio. The patio featured two lounge chairs with a table and bench, as well as drying rack for wet towels and swim wear.
The staff is friendly and helpful. They provided efficient Concierge service to book our tours and excursions.
We appreciated the free and substantial breakfast each morning, and the menu for other meals provided variety.
This property is very quiet and peaceful. It is about 20 minutes from the airport and easy to get to other parts of the island, like Oia if you seek more action. The tours picked us up at the hote, which made getting around ready. There's also other restaurants right down the hill from the hotel if you want a different dining experience.
I LOVE this property and plan to make it my home hotel when next visiting Greece.

The view was beautiful.
Breakfast wasnt the best, room was very plain and small, a bit dusty i was sneezing for 2 days straight. Outside was the best part. Restaurant also wasnt that good. And this hotel is very far from everything. Kinda overpriced. Dont think i’ll stay here again

Staff was amazing! Angelo, Foz and our cleaning lady was extremely helpful and kind. This property was great. Only negative is it was away from the major attractions. I would still recommend! The accommodations and staff make it worthwhile!
Coby
This is the best property I stay in a long time. This property is a must stay.

We wanted peaceful and relaxing and thats exactly what we got. Staff were amazing in reception for excursions, hire cars and recommendations. Cleaning staff and restaurant staff also amazing. Couldn't have asked for anything more. A very memorable holiday and will definitely book again next year. A holiday dream in our opinion. They know what they are doing and doing it perfectly. Couldn't recommend them enough. Five stars 🌟
PARESH M
The view of Santorini is extremely beautiful. One can only experience this by staying there. I highly recommend this property .
Vivian
Everything was great
Tamas
Breathtaking view
William
First and foremost, great staff that also helped us book and secure our transportation from Santorini to Mykonos via ferry (SEAJETS) with our rental vehicle. Loved being a bit secluded and private at this property that has some of the most magnificent views and pool. Highly recommend, especially if you are like me and want to have your own transportation. Everything is easy to get to on the island, but you aren’t going anywhere fast.
BIlly
It is a very nice hotel with amazing views.
brandy
Staff is so helpful and kind, beautiful hotel, definitely recommend.
Sinead
The only positive about this hotel is the rooms. The views are spectacular and they are clean. However I would strongly recommend that does not sway you to book here
The quality of food and drinks are terrible. Few examples - no coffee in the bar/restaurant for 2 days because they ran out of coffee beans (why not pop to a shop?!?)
The atmosphere in the bar restaurant is shocking - no effort to create ambience and the worst music
Reception is dated
Food is another level of awful. Had a rock hard pizza that was clearly slow cooked but caked in raw flour.
Breakfast was an all time low. Hot selection was freezing cold whether you go early or late
Music was loud euro trash
I would like to give a few tips - put a few candles on the tables in the bar at night
Set up breakfast tables
Serve food hot
Encourage your team to be proud of what they are doing so service is done without what seemed to be embarrassment for the what they were giving so rarely a smile
NEVER book a car or trip or any service through hotel they charge triple
The hotel is clearly trying to make money at the expense of quality - 1 pillow per person in the rooms so clearly saving on laundry.
No cover over the duvet
Very basic breakfast ingredients
What an absolute shame. DO NOT STAY HERE. I wish someone had warned me

Angelo and staff were amazing! Our SeaJet ferry was cancelled last minute due to the weather and he took care of us! We ended up at the beach with complimentary beach sunbeds until our flight we just booked!! Our view and the hotel was splendid and we had a wonderful time! Consider staying at the Maison Des Lys when you visit Santorini.
Erica
My stay was lovely. The room I stayed in could use a fresh coat of paint. The hotel area is breathtaking. Staff was very polite and helpful. The mountain view is beautiful. The sunrise was absolutely heavely to watch each morning. There's a nice little restaurant 1 minute away. The food was great. Overall, there were no issues. I'd stay there again in the future.
Nanette
The hotel has amazing views, a well-maintained property, friendly staff, and an excellent free breakfast with a nice variety. The only downside was that I didn’t receive the exact room I booked the view was different. When I called the front desk, the lady explained it was the same room type but that I could speak to the manager in the morning if another room was available. Since I was already unpacked, I chose to stay, but no one followed up to check if I was comfortable. Despite this, I had a wonderful stay overall and would recommend the hotel to others visiting Santorini.
zeina
Love it! Love the view! Comparable to oia if not better

This hotel is everything you could ask for is quiet, beautiful rooms with great views. great service
Nikolay Valentinov
Amazing view and friendly staff.

AMAZING PLACE TO STAY....I HAD A ROOM WITH A PRIVATE POOL AND IT WAS AMAZING! THE BREAKFAST IS GOOD AND THE FOOD AT THE RESTAURANT IS EXTREMELY TASTY!
Tarab
the hotel location was breathtaking with the most gorgeous view of the island. Food was ok, staff was friendly but far away from any night life or action. if you're looking for a quiet place away from the tourist locations.
Kate
The property is very nice. Great views

The staff, the food, the view is amazing.. will definitely stay here again when i go back to santorini..

Amazing views. Luxurious and beautiful. Quiet and away from the hustle and bustle.

Property is clean and comfortable. We love the infinity pool and gorgeous view. The place is very quiet and away from the crowd.
Julia
The resort was VERY clean, everyone that worked there was helpful and friendly, the views were awesome and parking on site was super easy.

Maison Des Lys was an incredible resort! They were so accomodating and friendly! The facilities were top notch and the views were gorgeous. Everything we ate there was terrific! It is located in a quieter area, which we loved. So relaxing! I cannot say enough kind words about their staff! This trip was perfection!
Larry
Very nice property, if you want a relaxing stay this is the place beautiful views
Alfred
The property was amazing. Our villa had an amazing view of the caldera. Very friendly staff.
Joseph
The staff is amazing - so friendly and attentive! Quiet location on Santorini but not difficult to get to Fira by vehicle. Gorgeous property with amazing views! Walk to Aeolos Tavern for delicious dinner and sunsets! Another dining option - slightly longer walk or short drive - is The Good Heart.
Efia
Good time, beautiful views
Friendly staff and helpful
Giselle
View from hotel was very nice, free breakfast buffet with good options and dining available as well.

Our stay at Maison Des Lys was an exceptional experience. We booked a room with a stunning caldera view, which was truly breathtaking. The rooms come with a pool, perfect for relaxing in the warm weather. Breakfast is included, and the food, along with the service, is excellent.
Gurkirat
Wouldn't recommend for anyone that wishes to go out and enjoy the area. It's too far away, rooms are decent at best. Even the best rooms are mid. This was the worst place I stayed on my month long vacation in Greece and italy.
Muhammad
We had an incredible time at Maison De Lys in Santorini! The views were breathtaking, the service was top-notch, and the rooms were amazing. It was our first time in Santorini, and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially the receptionist. They answered all our questions, booked us into a variety of activities, and even helped us rent a car for our stay.
We highly recommend this hotel. It’s located in the quieter part of Akrotiri, away from the bustling towns of Oia and Fira. But don’t let that fool you - the views are still stunning, especially from Maison De Lys.
Thanks again for making our stay so special. We’ll definitely be recommending Maison De Lys to our friends and family.

My recent stay at Maison Des Lys was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect. They were attentive, warm, and incredibly accommodating, truly making us feel at home.
One of the highlights of our stay was their graciousness in offering us a late check-out, which allowed us to enjoy our final morning in the stunning surroundings without any rush. It’s little touches like this that make a place stand out.
The property itself is breathtaking—immaculately maintained with gorgeous views and serene spaces to unwind. Every detail, from the luxurious rooms to the beautifully designed common areas, exudes comfort and elegance.
I highly recommend Maison Des Lys for anyone looking for a top-tier experience with outstanding service. We can’t wait to return!

Hotel is too far away from Centre. You spend too much money in taxis. But it has a beautiful view if you’re looking for the view.
Roberto
Amazing customer service, great food with wonderful view of the capital and ocean. First time in Santorini, it won’t be the last and will absolutely stay at this hotel again.
Linda
Beautiful location, very nice staff.
Samson
It was a great experience. I definitely would recommend it.
Andrew
An outstanding hotel located on the edge of the caldera with stunning views. Excellent, friendly and helpful staff. As others have mentioned, you do need to hire a car but the isolated location is one of the strengths of the hotel - it is quiet and away from the over tourism of Fira and Oia.
Jean
The check in and warm welcome was fabulous. The rooms are well maintained and spotless, as is the whole property. The views from almost anywhere on the property are spectacular.
All the staff are pleasant and super efficient.
Breakfast buffet was plentiful with lots to choose from. The dinner was also great.
We should have stayed longer. Next time.

Great view of caldera. Somewhat isolated if you don't rent a vehicle, but good included breakfast and a couple of restaurants within easy/safe walk.

Beautiful hotel with amazing views!!

Great place!

Excellent accommodation and location. We had a superb room and private pool overlooking the Caldera that was cleaned and all towels and bedding exchanged daily. Very helpful staff, particularly Angelo the property manager and Fanis in the bar/restaurant. As with many properties on the Island a hire car is useful to get around the island
Diogenes
Average. Good price

The staff at the restaurant and bar were amazing. The management was not helpful at all! Since day one I requested the shower to be looked at because it did not have a door so everytime I showered all the water came out. Angelo, the manager said that there was nothing he can do put to put towels on the floor. Due to it being very slippery I fell twice. The TV didn’t work, management finally changed it after 3 days. Telephones never worked so I had to walk to the reception twice. They need new management. The rest of the staff was outstanding. it’s a beautiful place just need better skilled management staff.
Jeffrey
The room, location and view were amazing! The staff were very accommodating and friendly.
Shankar
Excellent hotel with nice view and very calm and quiet and friendly atmosphere
Mike
We loved it here! Away from the noise and crowds in Fira and Oia and still near great restaurants. The staff were friendly and I thought the breakfast was great. If I ever make it to Santorini again, this will be my go to place. Loved it!
Ed
Angelo and Angel and the rest of the staff was very friendly and willing to help when needed. Had a great time.
DeAnn
My wife and I spent 8 nights and the entire place was amazing! The desk staff, general staff and especially the bar & restaurant staff were amazing. Away from the bustle of the cruise ships but easy to get anywhere on the island! It’s rare that my wife and I travel the same place twice, but Maison DesLys will likely be an exception to that! Thank you for an amazing time!!!
Brianna
Beautiful villas!! The staff was so incredibly kind and accommodating. We enjoyed the bar and restaurant. Highly highly recommend!!
Nicole
This property was beautiful, nestled into the cliffs in Akrithi facing the Caldera. This is the quieter end of the island. Grounds and pool were well maintained. Our private pool was cleaned at least once while we were there. Bed made and fresh towels ( no wash clothes, take your own) provided daily. Breakfast buffet offered a variety of fresh fruit and some traditional Greek foods, enough that you did not have to eat the same foods every day. They have a bar/ restaurant onsite with a fairly decent menu. There was a small but consistent staff. Interactions with everyone were very pleasant. The hosts/receptionist, Angelo (day) and Angie (evening shift) were great. Concierge extraordinaire! The only negative is that the jacuzzi leaked when my daughter used it. And oops! We forgot to report it. If you're looking for a quiet spot, this is it. However, the island is small enough that you can drive from one end to the other in about and hour or so. I would recommend Maison Des Lys as a good place to stay when ever you visit Santorini.
Whitney
We had a great stay. The menu selections at the hotel were limited, and my daughter ordered seafood at the hotel restaurant that gave her food poisoning and she was in bed for 2.5 days of our 5-day stay, so that was a bummer. There are restaurants nearby that you can walk to, but if you want to go to the tourist towns, you will need a taxi/Uber. Overall it was very nice.
Michael
The staff was incredibly attendant to any of our needs. The breakfast is alright, but that is such a minor complaint compared to how amazing the hotel and staff are. We booked a junior deluxe suite and the view was striking, particularly with the sunrise. There are two delicious restaurants within walking distance
Brian
The staff were great. But the room was not as clean. The floor was really dirty, and room smelled like sewage at times. The room itself did not match the picture of the room that was originally booked. The view was partially blocked by a wall, which from the pictures was not the room we booked or promised. We were often awoken, by a loud banging from what it appeared to be the roof of our room. And the wife worked half of the time. For the price that was paid, the stay was not worth it and I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Eric
The staff at the hotel were wonderful! Angelo at the front desk loaned me his personal guitar for the week which was awesome. The restaurant and bar have limited menu items, but all the food was great and the staff was excellent! The hotel is a little isolated, but they can easily get you transportation and you avoid the chaos of Oia and Fira. It's a place to go to relax and take in the amazing views!
Farah
Great upgraded rooms with private pool in addition to main pool. Excellent view and sunset. Acessable by car very safe area

A great place to rest and admire the beauty of Santoriny away from the crowded areas.
annabel
This is a beautiful place. It’s far removed from the major tourist centres. We were in the new section and it was stunning. The view from our place was amazing. The staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. They were genuinely friendly and kind. The private pool is basically a coolish plunge pool. The breakfast has good variety although we were there for 3 nights and it might become a little monotonous if we had been there longer. We walked a couple of times down to the village to catch the bus and it’s not a pleasant walk. No sidewalks and cars speeding past. It’s best to have a car. Taxis are very expensive. The food was good. The menu isn’t extensive but what they have was great. The fried feta in filo with honey was fantastic and the prawns were delicious. Small but good wine list. The outdoor dining area is lovely with such an amazing view. The only thing I didn’t really like was the indoor dining area. It’s just okay. We always ate outside but if it’s very windy - which happens here- you have to move indoors. But other than that our stay was perfect.
Maria
Relaxing authentic stay
Loved our stay, needed to relax and that is what we did. Staff were kind and attentive without bothering us. Views are stunning, quiet away from tourist rush . Pool was clean, our teenagers loved it. Restaurants and beaches close by. We were worried about the overtourism but absolutely no sign of it in this area.
Will be back - feel completely revitalised.
Will be back - feel completely revitalised.

The only problem we had was the shower didnt stop the watwr inside, but ran all over the floor. The pool could have been warmer
Stephan
Loved this property. Away from the tourist traps of Santorini but that comes with Uber rides or buses unless you rent a four wheeler.
elis
If you like quiet place This is hotel for you. Les people on this side of island then in Oia or Fira. Food is good. Staff very friendly. Only complaint i have showering with salt water Because island doesn’t have fresh water.

Picture perfect vacation spot
In one word, incredible. From our initial correspondence with the hotel staff, their willingness to accommodate changes in our schedule and organize transportation was impeccable. The hotel and room with private pool was amazing. So relaxing. The breakfast
buffet was a nice plus and accompanying view was breathtaking.

It was a beautiful property with the most amazing views. The service at the hotel was excellent and the hotel room was clean with towels provided daily for the room and pool. The breakfast was ok, I wish there had been different options each day, but apart from that a perfect stay.

Overall very good for family with kids staying. Very nice hotel. Nice staff ! Best view! Not crowded, quiet area. Easy to found the location and got parking space within the hotel.
Some toilet facilities might need update and sadly our room private pool s light not work if not would be perfect.
Breakfast included. Everyday would be the same choice though. Beware more likely around 10am might not refill much.

The management appears to lack in basic humane values.
The day before we were to fly to Santorini, we suffered an unexpected medical emergency, leading to immediate hospitalization (lasting multiple days and precluding travel during the planned period). Aware of their cancellation policy, we requested the hotel management via Expedia to please allow postponement of the dates of visit. We received a brief, rude response from the assistant manager declining the request without any acknowledgement of the circumstances.
The first requirement of hospitality is to recognize the humanity of the guest. This hotel management fails this basic test. There are policies, and there are values. No matter how beautiful the surroundings, it cannot be safe to be in the hands of management who seem unable to bring basic human empathy to the table given the evidence.
