Had a lovely stay at Acroterra Rosa and hope to come back some day. The rooms are very nicely appointed and the facilities in general are great, but the real standout is the staff. Service here is fantastic and I must complement the cocktail selection, too! Also appreciated the gym. The location in Akrotiri is a good option if you want a Santorini holiday away from the crowds, with some nice restaurants a short walk away from the hotel.

Mainly went here to stay near the Akrotiri archeological site. The room blew me away. Got there early and my room wasn't ready. Got a bit of an upgrade. OMG. 5 star room. Food at the resort was spectacular. 5 minute walk to main town of Akrotiri. 15 to archeological site, but 30 back uphill. Amazing resort and view. Want to go back to this place.

Just the perfect hotel and stay! So completely relaxed from the moment we arrived to the minute we left! Our sea view room had the most incredible views of Santorini. Breakfast was incredibly good, with every option. Restaurants are about 2 mins away so perfectly located. Rooms are very spacious with good amenities. The staff are amazing and are incredibly good at what they do. Don’t be too surprised if they come over to you and have a chat! We thought that was a great touch and a nice gesture. A special mention to Kostas who looked after us every breakfast, made us smile and kept the coffee coming. On our first day, the very efficient restaurant manager had Greek coffee made for us and this continued every day. It was very much appreciated. For the rest of the stay, our rooms were spotlessly cleaned. On the first day, we received a bottle of wine and thereafter, little sweet gifts later in the afternoon. It ranks in our top 3 hotels and we will definitely be back next year, but with a longer stay.

First time in Santorini and this hotel was excellent, quiet and away from noise of tourists area. You can take local bus to Firi or taxi to nearby winery to see sunset. Nictarious was excellent at front desk and even helped us book the reservations for winery’s supper, catamaran sunset supper etc. The staff was excellent and eager to serve. This hotel was immaculate and free breakfast was great!

We loved the property! It is sitting at the edge of a cliff overlooking the caldeira, with breathtaking views over Fira and Oya. When we stayed, it was not very crowded so we could enjoy the swimming pool (a bit cool but very enjoyable). The restaurant food quality is very good, especially the fish, and I would recommend it.

This place is fantastic! We stayed for 10days at the start of July and it was perfect! The setting is absolutely stunning. The view from the pool and restaurant area is spectacular. We had a room with a hot tub and a Caledara view and I’d recommend that push the boat out and go for it!! The room had everything we needed and was maintained well by staff the towels were the softest we had come across in a 5 star hotel. Including the pool ones and there was no shortage! Breakfast was a relaxed experience with amazing attentive staff who couldn’t do enough for you. The location of the hotel in the village of Akrotiri is good and plenty of excellent restaurants within a short walk. The hotel staff arranged transportation for us and quad hire making sure we had no hassle. Exactly what you want!! The hotel is at the opposite side of the island to the main areas of Oia and Fira and for us this was a bonus. We visited both areas and appreciated all they offered but with so many cruise ship tourists there is was great to be able to go back to our more peaceful area. Transport are und the island is so easy from the hotel that you don’t really need to be staying in the very busy tourist areas of Oia and Fira. Would highly recommend this hotel for it’s peaceful, luxurious feel, absolutely stunning views(honestly breathtaking) and friendly attentive staff!

Truly the best hotel in Santorini! Fantastic location away from all the chaos and heavy people traffic of Oia, but still within a 15-20 min drive away to do some day shopping/sight seeing in that area. Tons of smaller markets, delicious restaurants, bars and even a pharmacy which we had to use to get flu medicine all within a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
Stayed for four days in the honeymoon suite. The private balcony pool is incredible with amazing views overlooking the entire bay (but all of the views from the other rooms our friends booked were equally amazing).
Had breakfast at the hotel every morning (buffet style) and the food was delicious! Plus they make ready to order pancakes and custom omelettes that were all included in our hotel rate.
We had dinner there two of the nights (14 of us total). The food never ceased to amaze us and I can honestly say 100% of everything everyone ordered (yes, we all tried each other's foods) was so damn good! It always tasted fresh, perfectly cooked and fantastic seasoning and sauces to accommodate each plate.
Now onto the staff...from the moment we checked in, we felt like VIPs. They easily made the experience a 10 out of 10! Jimmy (evening bartender) was truly amazing and Nick and the rest of the staff were so accommodating to everything we needed (including a custom and delicious birthday cake 24 hrs in advance).
I can't recommend this place enough and will absolutely stay here EVERY time we visit Santorini!

We really enjoyed the service and the food. It does not get much better. The property was beautiful and the view stunning.
My only other comment was my husband and I had massages from their spa. My husband had a great massage but unfortunately I had one of the worst massages I have ever had.
The other comment is that we are Expedia members and the hotel does not communicate with Expedia so if you have any Expedia perks you must ask for them which is a little uncomfortable.

Beautiful hotel located on the south side of the caldera. Amazing views of the volcano from your room, restaurant and pool. Chef was amazing. The staff couldn't have been nicer from the manager to the waiting staff and front desk workers. Away from the congestion of the larger cities, but a short cab ride to get to the shops and restaurants of Oia and Thira. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The Acroterra Rosa is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. It located on the island away from the busy crowded areas where the cruise ships drop off. The rooms are very clean and the staff does everything to make you visit perfect.
They have a restaurant and bar that has a spectacular view across the pool and over the ocean. They have a great chef prepared breakfast that was included and we had lunch and dinner there on different occasions (dependingon the adventureof the day) . I think the location is important because it is hard to relax in the busy city areas.... they are fun to visit and shop, eat etc... but I prefer a quiet as a home base for relaxation. You will need transportation to visit all the other places on the island but, it is very easy as the hotel will arrange car rental drop off and any transportation you need such as to and from the airport. We rented a small car but, ATVs and scooters are available. I would recommend a small car because the streets are tight and free parking will be crowded. We were always able to find parking but, it is a busy place. I would recommend the free parking and a small walk into the city. There are multiple locations you will need to see on the island... Oia, Fira, beaches etc... I am happy we found this gem by accident and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a higher level experience. The place is beautiful, the view is outstanding, the location is perfect and the service we received was world class.

This hotel is clean, quiet, and beautiful, situated in the perfect location for a caldera view. The rooms have so many nice features, including the balcony with a private hot tub. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Sotiris, the Maitre, crafts amazing cocktails unique to your preferences. Sipping my tropical mocktail while taking in the sun and view made my vacation perfection. If my husband and I return to Santorini, we will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, quiet and private hotel in Akrotiri. They have a beautiful view of the caldera and the volcano. You can see the sunrise. The sunset lies on the side of the hotel, so you don't get to see it, but it still has beautiful views. The cleanliness and hospitality of the staff was 10/10. They also provide you with all the information you need to enjoy your time to the max in Santorini.

The only disappointing thing I found was the bar staff couldn’t make a drinkable cocktail, they were awful. They tried, they changed them and were very apologetic but just couldn’t get any of them right.

From the reception when we arrived until the day we left, impeccable service. They assisted with dinner reservations, taxi service and anything we needed in the room. Breakfast was cooked to order with a ton of items to choose from. Our terrace overlooked the caldera! I highly recommend this property.

A few point for us meant that this could not be a 5 star review.
The rooms are an excellent size, however our balcony was not really usable as it was impossible to open both shutters without actually removing some of the furniture inside first, so if left open it would bang in the wind and if opened you then had to battle the furniture to be able to close at night.
The view from the dinning room is great, and the staff were fantastic. The pool was more or less unusable as it the water was so cold, and unfortunately the pool is next to a road which could get busy at certain points of the day.
The spa facilities were available and massages were good. However the fact that they charge 20euros for 15 minutes - when the pool is just sat around unused the majority of the time seems outrageous.

This is a very nice property. The staff was so nice and courteous. We would definitely recommend this place to others. Book directly on the property’s website to get a complimentary transfer to/from the airport. Also chose a package with breakfast. It allows you to taste a little bit of this and that without incurring extra costs. I will say if there are a lot of people on the island at one time, you could experience a power outage in your room. Unfortunately that happened to us four times during our stay, but fixed almost immediately. At most we were without power for five minutes. The staff was very attentive.

This is an amazing hotel, beautiful views from the cliffs and really clean rooms and everything. Great breakfast as well! The set up is lovely.. our room had its own pool and veranda. Cleaning is definitely top notch. We left our veranda opened to town and the breeze was alit so sand from the sand blew in. The next day, the cleaner made sure the entire room was swept and probably mopped. There was no trace of sand in the immaculately white decor. The breakfast is great, freshly squeezed guava and peach juices . We wanted our omelette made to specs.. you may need to describe thoroughly and slowly what you want though due to language barrier.. the staff are very polite and willing to help. The public transportation bus stop to Fira is minutes away .. beware it’s a long wait on weekends . But during the week, it’s nice . 2 euros one way .

Nice beautiful property with nice views and rooms in a quiet area. You might want to find somewhere else if you are into crowd or party scene. Also, I would recommend a car if you are here since you will have to drive pretty much anywhere you go, even the bus goes by the property, I personally don’t find it too convenient.
