The first night we arrived they a/c was off and the temperature on the room was close to 30 degrees (Centigrades) so we could not sleep at all; the next day after I spoke for a while to the people on the reception we were able to solve but it was a terrible first night

Very good stop-over spot

My wife and I stayed at AC Hotel Huelva by Marriott for one night on the way into Andalucia from the Algarve. Huelva itself is an industrial town, though the industry is on the coast and the hotel is fortunately on the north side. It's near a main road junction (thus easy to find, and also well insulated from any noise) although be prepared for the one-way street past the hotel. On-street parking was free and easy, and the hotel also had its own underground parking. Our room was very comfortable; it looked out towards an apartment block, but the blackout curtains worked well. Breakfast, in a first-floor room overlooking the local boating pond and parkland, was fine. The hotel does not do lunches or dinners, but the receptionist steered us towards a local restaurant that was an easy five minutes walk away and was excellent: very busy but clearly loved by the locals too.

The hotel staff were very helpful at check-in and check-out. By mistake I left my camera in the room when checking out. We phoned later that day; they phoned back after 30 minutes to say it had not (yet) been found, but phoned again quite a bit later to say it had been found; we were able to collect it on the way past a few days later. All in all, it's a very good place to break a long journey, or if you wanted to visit the Donana National Park further along the coast road.

We chose this hotel because it was close to the University Campus. The hotel reception staff were really pleasant and very helpful. It is about 30 minutes walk to the centre of Huelva but just 10 minutes walk to the nearby Holea shopping centre where there was a variety of restaurants which reasonable in price.

Overnight stay. Well outside of City Center - not very convenient if you are planning multiple trips into town. In residential area. No services to speak of in immediate area. English speaking staff very helpful. Paid off street parking available. Multi item breakfast.

we booked a non smoking room (and got it confirmed), but got a very smelly smoking room.
there was no other room available. frontdesk tried to get us in an other hotel, but this was a severe downgrade. We were very tired from our travel, and did not want to drive on anymore. Finally the manager released a \"in maintanance\" room, smoke free. Bathroom wasn't cleaned. Accepted it as we saw no other choice that moment. We expected some gesture or discount at check out, but weren't offered any. Finally after our complaint we got the parking fee of Eur 11.- waived.

It was perfectly located for where I needed to be

At reception I found the hotel basic, but adequate. The complimentary coffee was welcome. On arriving back in the evening, the male receptionist was extremely helpful regarding my room service. I ordered from the room and requested a half bottle of wine, which he said he would try and organise for me. He did so, and delivered with a lovely tray, clean glass and bottle opener, all ready. Good attention to detail and the food was good. I would definitely book again. Very friendly staff in all areas

AC Hotel Review

I stayed in the AC Hotel for a week with work and found it very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the resturant served very nice food. A bit limited on selection, but still made for very good eating. Rooms were clean, well maintained and and very comfortable. Overall very happy and would stay there again.

Es la tercera vez que voy al hotel y hasta entonces no había encontrado problemas salvo en mi última estancia.
Al llegar a la habitación me encuentro 2 avispas gigantes revoloteando por la cama, más 6 mosquitos los cuales consigo quitar de en medio. Una vez ya con los picores en el cuerpo me dispongo a buscar posibles bichos para no tener problemas durante la noche, con la mala suerte de encontrarme en las cortinas como una especie de nido de barro donde en su interior podría caber 1-2 avispas.
Una vez ya me quedo tranquilo y me dispongo a dormir me despierto 3 veces por la noche con picaduras de mosquitos… los cuales consigo alcanzar.
Observando el techo me encuentro zapatillazos de anteriores huéspedes, así que supongo que será un problema común, pero la verdad que la experiencia ha sido mala.
Servicio y atención del personal ha sido muy bueno.
No sé si volveré, supongo que le daré otra oportunidad al hotel, pero espero no tener más problemas de bichos.

Es un Hotel AC, creo que eso describe la habitación, todo esta muy controlado, muy medido, y muy confortable (excepto en el caso del AC La Línea); la pena es que está al final de Huelva, por lo que para cualquier cosa que vayas a hacer en la ciudad, necesitas un transporte.
Por otra parte, hay sitios muy buenos para comer a tan solo un paseito; a destacar, porque no suele ser así, el bar del parque que queda entre ambos sentidos de la avenida de entrada a Huelva, a unos 10 minutos paseando desde la puerta del hotel Desgraciadamente no recuerdo el nombre

nous avons surtout eu un problème le soir lorsque nous avons pris la voiture au parking. après de longs coups de téléphone, je suis allée à la réception mais il n'y avait personne. Finalement nous sommes allés dans la cuisine (il n'y avait personne au bar non plus) le réceptionniste et le barman étaient assis là, ce qui n'est pas normal pour un hôtel de ce type.

Buen hotel mal parking

Muy buen hotel una lastima lo limitado del parking, solo tiene 16 cocheras. Llegué y no pude tener cochera. Eso debería estar aclarado en la descripción del hotel. En la calle se puede aparcar, pero si quieres seguridad no tienes.

Quarto grande e muito confortável.pequeno almoço agradável mas nada de extraordinário para o custo de 20€ por pessoa. Preço razoável parque na garagem 11€ noite ( estacionamento nas redondezas possível/ bairro habitacional ). Limpeza deficiente do quarto( não havia gel de banho no dia da chegada e wc ( chão ) não estava limpo como desejável…

Good, that could be great!

Stayed there for a week. Hotel is very clean and service is good. However, the breakfast could be better. There's no warm options, so breakfast is basically sandwiches, yoghurt and fruit. Rooms are ok, but quite a bit of noice leaks in from the hallway/neighbours. Door to toilet is also just a glass door, so not very private if that is a concern. Staying alone it's not an issue though. About a 25min walk into city center, but taxis are cheap so not really a problem. Overall a good hotel, but not sure I'd rate it 4 star, which seems to be the official rating.
