Esta es nuestra segunda estancia en NH Huelva y, una vez más, todo ha sido excelente. El personal es siempre amable, atento y profesional. Quiero destacar especialmente a Diego, quien realmente va más allá para que la experiencia sea perfecta. Su trato, disposición y dedicación marcan la diferencia. Sin duda, volveremos.
Como único punto a mejorar, la experiencia en el desayuno se vio afectada por la actitud de la encargada de sala el 10 de enero.
No lo mencioné previamente, pero en nuestra estancia anterior, el 6 de enero, ella literalmente apagó las luces a las 10:00 a. m., justo cuando finalizaba el desayuno, lo cual resultó bastante incómodo.
En esta ocasión, había una conferencia en el hotel y a muchas personas ella les indicó que el desayuno terminaba a las 10:00 a. m. Sin embargo, hubo falta de coherencia: a algunos huéspedes se les negaba la entrada, pero si alguien protestaba, entonces “no pasaba nada” y sí se les permitía entrar incluso justo a las 10:00. Yo no voy a rebajarme a ese tipo de situación, pero no me gustó esa forma inconsistente de manejarlo. Que el desayuno termine a las 10:00 no significa que también se deba presionar a los huéspedes para terminar de comer inmediatamente.
También fue desagradable que, al pedir huevos revueltos con tomate, me interrumpiera con el comentario de que “ya había huevos revueltos en el buffet”. Aclaré que los quería con tomate, pero la respuesta no fue la más adecuada.
No bajaré la calificación del hotel, pero sí lo señalo.

Excelente hotel con una ubicación inmejorable en pleno centro de Huelva, ideal para moverse a pie y disfrutar de la ciudad sin complicaciones. Las habitaciones son cómodas, limpias y tranquilas, perfectas tanto para viajes de trabajo como de ocio.
Lo mejor, sin duda, es el personal: atentos, amables y siempre dispuestos a ayudar, marcan la diferencia y hacen que la estancia sea aún mejor.
Un hotel muy recomendable por su localización y por la calidad humana de sus empleados.

What was great: Clean, spacious rooms, great breakfast options, great service all around.
What was not so great: It was 78-80 degrees in Huelva (in March) for the days we stayed there. The room was an oven and there was no A/C. When we contacted the reception, they told us that the A/C is only turned on in the summer months. Our only option was to open the window (to a balcony) which is nice, but on the warmer days, there were also mosquitos, as windows in this hotel don't have screens. For a 4-star hotel, I'd expect an option of A/C and Heat all year-round.

Good value hotel close to city centre

I stayed 1 night in this hotel. Its located very close to the railway station, and as Huelva city is not that big, it’s convenient to see all the attractions. The hotel is a bit dated from the outside, but it seems to have been upgraded inside and the room was very modern, with a great shower and a very comfy bed. I would recommend this hotel and also Huelva which is a lovely city.

Super location, so near train station and easy walk to main plaza and pedestrian shopping street. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room very spacious and excellently renovated. Every room should have a coffee machine, not just premium rooms.

Good, but small details are overlooked

Overall this was a nice hotel. Great location and nice terrace and bar (when there are staff available to order drinks that is). However this 4 star hotel misses the mark on minor details, for example:

- The air conditioning in the room was weak
- I was unable to access my own terrace because the door was jammed
- Half the power sockets in the room didn't work
- The power sockets in the bar and restaurant didn't work
- I had to get a replacement key for my room twice a day as they consistently stopped working
- The gym was underwhelming; the dumbell rack was only half stocked and the air conditioning didn't work

Having said that, the location and the nice bar and terrace made for a nice stay

Good location but a bit worse for wear

The location is excellent but the hotel itself has seen better days. The furniture in our room had a cigarette burn, the ceiling near the bathroom was beginning to sink in due to water damage, and we could feel springs through the mattress.

Serviceable for a short stay but by no means luxurious.

Very good!

Good hotel, in excellent location. The rooms were large, comfortable and with all required amenities whilst being clean. The balcony lacks any furniture to sit outside to enjoy and the TV services are limited with no smart or international options for guests. I would have no hesitation staying at the hotel again. Very good stay.

Really NH?!

The room was very large, clean, with a comfortable bed. The rooms balcony door would hardly open to use it. Drilling in the nearby walls started, unannounced, at 9am! We were promised english tv channels. Led to believe their technician was showing up. But it was just a lie. Had they been straight with us we would not have renewed 2 extra days! The reception crew were not adequately skilled. The entrance to the reception desk is odd, to say the least. This place doesn't reflect well for the NH brand: I will hesitate to book them in the future.

To Return or Not, that is the question!

I always like staying in this well located hotel and come back as often as I can, Unfortunately due to age and walking difficulties as the hotel does not cater for dissabled customers.There are no special rooms equipped to help with bathing and the ramp at the entrance has become impossible for me to manage as it is too steep.I have been a guest here for over 30 years and it was one of my late husbands favourite hotels. Maybe this year a little updating would not come ammis especially the bathroom taps which need replacining on old tired washbasins.
I am sorry to be critical but also sad that wthout a bit of TLC one of my favourite haunts will be out of bounds for me. I travel with a family memner who also love the Luz Huelva.

A great hotel without hesitation!

We enjoyed this hotel in every sense. Since we arrived towards the evening, the receptionist was extremely friendly and professional, and gave us a higher floor room with actually nice views over the city. He took our requests at no hesitation (sent prior when we did the booking anyway, but many hotels do not even bother to read the special requests section). The room was fantastic, although a bit dated, the bed was super comfortable, spacious, very clean and tidy, and extremely quiet at night. The breakfast had a huge choice of everything. We were actually stunned on how well presented everything was, not cluttered, and so easy to visualise, it was perfect!. Recommended to anyone.

Un desastre muy caro

Para ser un hotel de 4 estrellas con un precio de más de 200€ por noche, el estado de conservación de la habitación es lamentable, no sé si es el término adecuado, porque llevan conservándola más de tres decadas... Suelo de madera viejo, abombado en varios sitios, jambas de madera podridas, ventanas de los años 80 que no aíslan ni térmicamente, ni tampoco acústicamente, suciedad en las paredes del baño, ascensores viejos, balcones con un embaldosado viejísimo, la cama de matrimonio muy pequeña, las cortinas viejas y sucias, en fin un desastre muy caro... Pajares y Esteso grabaron los bingueros en este hotel... Sólo se salva el desayuno y la atención de los empleados.

Todo muy bien, excepto por la incomodidad a la hora de dejar el coche para subir el equipaje, que hay que dar toda la vuelta al edificio para coger la rampa, y el escaso espacio para vehículos que hay en el parking de pago del hotel, que nos obligó a utilizar una plaza muy estrecha.

Difícil aparcar en el exterior. Hotel emblemático de Huelva. Habitación amplia y cómoda, colchón muy bueno. El aire acondicionado no se puede regular. Dejan agua y un vale para un par de bebidas en el bar, de cortesía. Personal agradable y que te hace sentir bien. Para el próximo año tendrán una piscina en la terraza.

Not up to normal NH standards!

This hotel needs review by the franchise NH. The AC system was broken - no one bothered to notify. They use Covid as an excuse to not place notices for telephone dialing numbers (they could easily place stickers or laminated sheets). The staff shouted at me across the hall to put on a face mask (as if I was committing a crime!) and with complete disrespect. The receptionists made excuses for the broken AC system, instead of just apologizing. Finally the WIFI was terrible - barely 1-2mbps up and down..impossible to work or sync anything. On a positive side, the desk and bed were good. Finally check in was extremely slow - even though we filled out ahead of time and the receptionist made my daughters sign papers (11 and 14) which is not even legally binding in any place in the world! Completely clueless. Sorry NH - I'm usually a big fan, but this Huelva property needs an internal review.

Cómodo para hacer turismo

El hotel está muy cerca de la estación de Renfe y de todos los servicios de la ciudad. Muy cómodo. La limpieza de la habitación es un poco escasa. Tienes que insistir para que cambien las toallas y en cuatro días no han cambiado las sábanas. Teniendo en cuenta que estamos en verano, con el calor que hace y que es un hotel de 4 estrellas, esperaba cabio diario o en días alternos de la ropa de cama. Simplemente estiran las sábanas. El baño lo repasan con un trapito que deja la marca de por dónde ha pasado lo que da la impresión de que no lo han limpiado realmente. El wifi gratuito no permite conexión a internet de modo que no sé para qué lo ofrecen. El nuevo inmobiliario ha suprimido los maleteros en las habitaciones, de modo que o pides una silla o te dejas la espalda buscando tu ropa en la maleta. El diseño no está reñido con la comodidad y la funcionalidad, tal vez con este comentario se den por aludidos los diseñadores de interiores.

Et godt sted å bo i Huelva, kort vei, gangavstand, til sentrum. Gode senger, det eneste som trakk ned var at aircondition på rommet ikke virket, og det var for mye støy fra gaten til å ha vinduet oppe. Det ble en litt varm natt. Frokosten var veldig god.

El establecimiento estaba en obras, y la habitación que nos dieron estaba justo al lado de otras en reforma, donde te despertabas por los martillazos desde muy temprano. Muy difícil descansar o trabajar desde la habitación. Positivo, tuvieron el detalle de intentar compensarnos las molestias no cobrandonos el parking.

Tres estrellas muy normalito.

Desde mi punto de vista no es un cuatro estrellas. Sólo ver el baño, con la griferia, loza sanitaria, amenities, bañera, para mi un tres estrellas normalito. La atención del personal me pareció buena. El hotel necesita una renovación integral.
