Easy check in. We felt the motel was very basic, lacking any extras or expected facilities. No hand towels, no toiletries and to finish it off the breakfast was shocking. Nothing to eat at all, unless you like very limited or one choice of coloured cereal, coffee which was awful and muffins in a wrapper.

There was no ice machine, cable didnt work. I asked for non-smoking was placed in smoking. The hot water was luke warm after 20 min of running. The a/c was on its last leg. The breakfast offered was powdered donuts and honey buns. No fresh fruit or non sugar options

This hotel was horrible from start to finish. The area did not feel safe, and the room itself was unacceptable. The walls were dirty, the shower had holes covered with duct tape, and the cloth shower curtain was filthy. The toilet seat was broken, and our room even had flies in it. To make things worse, the guests next to us were complaining about roaches.

We arrived around 3 a.m., and if it hadn’t been so late, we would have gone somewhere else. We didn’t even bring our belongings inside out of fear of bugs getting into our bags.

Absolutely disgusting conditions. DO NOT book here!

When we pulled up, we honestly thought it was abandoned. Looked very run down. Front office was extremely small. Breakfast area was apart of that and it looked terrible. Room was clean somewhat. No towel rack (holes where it was supposed to be), toilet ran the entire time, shower almost burned my skin off, paint chipped on the walls, mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, finger prints all over the thing above the curtains. The ac was off when we arrived and it had a sign to then it off after each use.

Experience was ruined when I stood in the shower for 10 mins waiting for the water to get hot...it never did. Never even got warm.
So if you're looking for a comfortable cheap room, but no shower, this is your place.

Staff tried to up charge the prepaid room. So, I asked to see the room before checking in. Building is falling apart, I did not check in after seeing the room. I have never seen anything this disgusting. Bugs were everywhere in the room. I canceled my stay within 5 minutes I had to go to another hotel for the night. This hotel should be condemned by the health department. I want my money back. This place doesn’t look like anything you could imagine. I give this place a negative 999 on scale from 1 to 10.

This property is very quiet and safe. The rooms have undergone remodels and they are very comfortable. Excellent television and channel choices. I slept well here. It is conveniently located off of the interstate. I'm definitely staying here next time I'm around.

Great overnight stay!

My overnight stay was great. The atmosphere was nice and quiet.The entire property was monitored by camera surveillance.The room was very neat and clean. The front desk staff was courteous and friendly. Ease of access to the interstate for traveling. Two convenience stores were within walking distance. Overall, a great experience!!

Room was awesome. The management was rude and very unprofessional. We were told by the attendant to park in a certain location the afternoon before we left. The general manager said that there was a lot of complaints that we park in the location that was told be the attendants. Management was very unpleasant and this situation but we only did what we were told to do. The hotel room was clean, shower was great and the bed was very comfortable. I would have given all excellent rating if the general manager would have been nice and understanding. Management was very poor to a paying customer. I would appreciate an email back with an apology for their mistake but I’m sure this rude manager will not take the time to email me back b

Clean and comfortable. Fluffy towels. Parking lot well lit and staff were pleasant. No coffee pot in the room and breakfast was very disappointing. Muffin and honey bun, out of a box kind. Yogurt, Sunny D, no real juice. Milk was in a gallon jug. Two cereals and no fruit. Diabetics nightmare. Bingo hall across the road. Numbers called out, into the middle of the night, over a PA system and could be heard in our
room. Guest a couple of doors down played music all night. We got to enjoy Chris Stapleton at 4:30 am.LOL

They have bright lighting right outside the windows and the curtains don't block them emitting light in the room.
The breakfast was a joke. Coffee taste like water. There was only one yogurt and pack of muffins. A jar of SunnyD and not even enough milk for a bowl of cereal.

I travel by motorcycle, and stay at a lot of places along the path. This is a typical motorcycle Hotel. The inside room was clean although the outside looked a little bit run down. But that is the way it goes when you're taking motorcycle trips off the beaten path. There are two gas stations adjacent and that is really the only place to eat. At least it was a good shower a good bed and Air conditioning.

Was an affordable option for a night’s sleep. We stopped and the room was clean but definitely not updated. Our non smoking room had a burn hole in a comforter and there were lots of weird noises coming through the walls and from the a/c unit. Overall we aren’t upset at the price for the quality of room. After we left we received a phone call accusing us of stealing towels when there was only one towel in the room when we got there. The man on the phone repeated the accusation twice before hanging up on me. I wouldn’t stay again due to the poor customer service.

I originally chose this inn because of my dog. I needed a place that accepted pets and because of his quirks a room that led from outside straight into a room. The staff there are wonderful and if there is an issue they take care of it immediately. It’s a no frill inn but that’s all I need for a good night sleep. I have been traveling between Kentucky and Louisiana a lot in the last couple of years and I stay here with or without my dog because of the location and the wonderful staff.

I came to Alabama go a basketball tournament and other hotels were expensive or sold out. This site was described as out of the city but close to events. 45 mins away on a dark road and the site was off the road. It really was a truck stop motel. The stay made you feel uncomfortable and unclean. It was a motel for truckers. The bed was dressed a the pictures described but not a place for women and children alone. The tube needed to be replaced.

It looked lovely, HOWEVER, I am elderly and a hot bath is very important to me. I had a room with a tub however there were no drain plugs in either the tub or the sink. I couldn’t even contain water to wash my face. All they said was “sorry “.

If you are needing a place to stay when Tuscaloosa has an event and their hotel prices are nuts, this is a good budget option. The room was clean and as pictured. The staff is very friendly and nice. The breakfast is fairly non existent. There aren’t many restaurants near by. But if you need a basic inexpensive room, you could do far worse.

We didn’t even stay. We decided to drive 3 hrs home rather than stay here. The property is not well kept. The ac in the room wasn’t on so it was hot. There was dead bugs in the windowsill and a whole live spider. It says free breakfast that the only place to eat it from what I could tell is with the front desk attendant. It seems great for a local drug dealer to run his business or if one is involved with human trafficking

Not as nice as we had hoped, but clean.

The first room they put us in was a smoking room, because the online booking said that was the only room available. There was a noise in the bathroom, something to do with the plumbing, and they were unable to repair it, so they moved us into a better room (which apparently was available). I will say that the lighting outside the windows was so bright you could read a newspaper inside the room at night. The breakfast left a little to be desired as well. There was a toaster and fresh bread, but no butter. Froot Loops and Corn Flakes were the only cereal options, but they did have packaged pastries and muffins. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and overall, it was a good stay.

Nice for a night or two!

I was a bit skeptical but I have to say it was a nice stay. The room was clean, renovated, and had a fridge and a microwave. I did not eat the free breakfast to safe time, but it looked basic.
The toilet should have been replaced during the renovation, it was old & very low (maybe too low for older folks) but it was clean!
As far as I could tell there wasn’t much around it except for a gas station.

The check-in was smooth. The room & linens was pretty much clean. There was a cold mini fridge plus a microwave in room & the water was hot unless you had the sink on too. What i didnt like was there were a couple of roaches we saw BUT the nice man in office at 2 am was happy to move us, no problem. However this disrupted our sleep & come checkout, the boy up front wasnt very understanding & became rude with me & my spouse. I explained my situation but was forced into making the decision of paying for an extra night without any discount. It was just very inconvenient all around.

Do not get a smoking room unless you do not mind the smoke smell. The smoke smell was awful, we put air fresheners in the air conditioner vents and got spray for the room and constantly sprayed, but it was horrible. I didnt realize Travelocity had booked us in a smoking room. Manager offered to move us to a non-smoking for the first night, but 2nd night of our stay they were all booked so we would be back in a smoking. It's not their fault, but it was worse experience and this is our 3rd time staying there.

First thing I never leave reviews EVER!!!! But I feel that I really should for my stay here. My boyfriend and I came to Alabama for a football game and we couldn’t find a hotel everything was either sold out or was extremely expensive. I came across this hotel online and I was afraid to book because of the fact it looked like it was in the middle of no where and it seemed to be an older hotel but I booked hoping for the best!!!! I called the hotel when we arrived in Tuscaloosa to inform them that we would be coming after the game and wanted to know if they would hold our room and they did. We got to the hotel after midnight. The front desk staff was extremely pleasant and very welcoming. Our room was very clean with everything working properly. Overall our stay was pleasant with no issues. You can tell the hotel has been updated and you get what you pay for. I would definitely stay here again. The pictures of the outside kind of throw you off because it’s not painted those bright colors.
