I appreciated the guards at the facility. They ensured my safety. If you don't speak French, the staff is honestly not very kind. Thankfully, I had a friend that spoke French and was able to communicate for me.

Was grateful they checked me in on arrival at 6am, when I was dead tired but ready to go out leaving the luggage. But the room had too many problems (no telephone was OK, but persistent drilling noise was not), another guy changed rooms for me at midday, a far better one. Hot water at warmest part of day only. Rooms with sea view means mostly facing north, sunlight poor, and even in windowed balcony laundry wouldn't dry easily. Breakfast was poor, undrinkable coffee (unforgivable in Algeria), with not the best croissant, choco-less pain au chocolat, and another dry pastry, too sweet artificial juice x2, and a staff guy seated unpleasantly staring towards me not even greeting back to my salaam aleikum and bon jour. It's no shock but demoralising after desert, and before departure from the counrtry. The surroundings are crowded with family holiday makers, with huge amount of rubbish everywhere, even in the sea water you swim in the rubbish bin of plastics. There are a few good souls in the hotel, which kept my morale.

Grand Hotel Adghir is a decent hotel on a nice location in Lido, Borj El Kiffan, Algiers. It is around 15 minutes driving from Bab Ezzouar business area and around 30 minutes driving from city centre. The neighborhood is typical for Algiers, with many shops, restaurants and cafeterias. There is long nice promenade by the seashore just behind the hotel. Hotel is well maintained and has a private parking.

It is overpriced. They have no made to order breakfast. It is just bread and juice or coffee. Not even fruits. Very poor breakfast and I asked they said the ad is not true!!!! Wifi kept going in and out. But, the workers are very nice and they have stores and shopes all around.

The service is GREAT! They try very hard to help you out in any way they can. But, the ad that is posted is a LIE! You get NO COOK TO ORDER BREAKFAST. They have a small breakfast with 3 kinds of bread and that is it. I even asked and they told me the ad was not right.

I had problems getting someone to pick me up from the hotel. I even called hotels. com to help and they were not able to get them on the phone. I had to take a taxi.

Please, note the wifi was very poor!!! Not sure if it was because it was raining. But, even after it stopped it was slow and did not always work.

its really close to the beach.

i liked it alright, the neighborhood is sort of by itself, but the staff are really fun & laid back, but everything functions well. if your flight on Air Algeria is canceled, this is where the airline will put you up.

Not attention & services

According to the Hotel website, there is internet in the room. but actually there isn't.

The first day they told me you can use internet in the main hall next to the reception & tomorrow we will repair it in the floor , one week passed but their tomorrow not come .

I tried to use internet in the reception floor & yes I succeed twice in one week.

I was in Business trip & internet is necessary for me. I have to be in daily contact with my office.

I used the staircase two times to go to the 3rd floor because elevator wasn't working.

During the breakfast, One day there were no napkins on the table & when i asked the staff, He answered, it finished. Even didn't say sorry.

Simply, the services is not good & the staff don't give the necessary atention to their guest

Waited at the airport for 2 hours until someone decided to pick me up (despite making a shuttle reservation on their website), then waited again at 5am for the driver to take me to the airport to catch my 7am flight. The rooms are very humid and not well kept at all - simply amenities such as water in the room were not provided. The lobby smells like french fries. Also - no wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby (and it's very spotty), unlike what was advertised on the hotel's website.

Aviod this hotel, I definitely do not recommend it, only the price is acceptably. The hotel smells fusty, decline, dirt and cobweb are everywhere. The rooms did not see a vacuum cleaner for months, the breakfast consists from coffee with bad taste and some mummified pastries, the dinner is expensive and flavourless. An internet connection exists, but it is so slow, that even emails cannot be downloaded, about webpages not even to mention ...

El servicio mala atención en la recepción, decían que era una norma alojar el hotel documentado con pasaporte.
Nefasto. Haré otro viaje en 10 días y ya tengo claro donde no volver más.

Les personnes fument par tout dans l'hotel, les équipements communs commes dans les chanbres sont trés anciens. le Petit déj est trés modeste. Mais ce qui est bien c'est l'eau: on vous sert des bouteilles d'eau à gogo :)

Plomberie complètement morte et obsolète. Pompes de re levage d'eau qui couines pendant toute la nuit.
Hygiène douteuse surtout sur la vaisselle.

OUR MONEY WAS STOLEN IN THIS DIRTY HOTEL

keep away from this hotel. the condition was worse beyond our imagination.
The breakfast saloon table linens didn't washed for a week. I am sure cause my coffee dirt remained all our stay duration. And the worst of all is our 150 USD money in our wallet was stolen from our room. We are sure that femme de ménage stole it. We asked for police but because the security cameras weren't working(!) we couldn't prove it. Finally pay a little more for another hotel, stay safe and keep calm during your Algeria visit.

Otel ve odalar gerçekten çok bakımsızdı. Konu olarak bu kadar güzel,denize \"0\" konumda bir otele yazık etmişler. Türkiye de bu otel için yıldız vermezler. Benim bir otelde en çok dikkat ettiğim odanın banyosudur,yatağın temizliğidir.
Banyo bir felaketti. Yatak şiltesi bir felaket,yastık bir felaket. Tek güzel hatırlayacağım anı,güze deniz manzarası olacak. Aslında ona da yazık etmişler. Balkonda masa sandalye var ancak sandalyeye oturunca önünde balkonun duvarını görüyorsun . Yani oturarak manzaraya karşı keyif yapman mümkün değil.

Daha yazacak çok şey var ancak bu kadar herhalde yeter. Otelin zaten hiç olmayan diğer hizmetlerinden bahsetmeye gerek yok herhalde. Bir otel hazırladığı broşürde \"asansörü olmasını\" resimli olarak \"hotel facilities\" kısmında gösteriyorsa artık siz düşünün gerisini !!!

Para 3 estrellas mejor una hotel normal

No habia internet en las Habitaciones y en el Lobby donde supuestamente habia internet tampoco pude usarlo, se los intente hacer ver bajando al lobby con mis equipos pero me dijieron que no sabian nada de ello asi que no podian hacer nada . Casi me cai al salir de la bañera por primera vez debido al tipo de construccion por tender las tuberia de desague sobre el suelo(un constructor/Ing). me entenderia. Las habitaciones con mucho espacio mejor que en un Ibis, el desayuno nada especial habia zumo, cafe/te, croisant y aqua parecia una merienda. lejos del tramvia y autobus para ir a la ciudad. Nada de informacion acerca de la ciudad para formentar el turismo, y los otros clientes nacionales dejando basura por donde sea en los pasillos dejando mucho que desear pero supongo que lo hacen a menudo especialmente despues de comer en el pasillo y dejat las bolsas de la comida o cascaras de naranja sobe las mesas en los pasillos

hotel démodée,

trop cher pour ce qu'on a reçu.
Le petit déjeuner est trés simple.
Nous avons réserve 2 chambres, et tous les deux était démode. Les prises d'électricitée ne sont pas fixé dans la murs.
Wifi seulement à la reception.
J'étais bloque pour 10 minutes dans l'élévateur avec mes 2 enfants. L' alarme ne marche pas ni la lumière. Une experiance affreux et sans excuses du personnel.

Je trouve que cet hotel est pas mal dans au niveau de service et de tranquillité,,, j’ai pris une chambre en face de la plage et c’était vraiment chouette de se lever le matin sur les rayons du soleil ,,,, +1

De plus cet hôtel n'est pas loin de l’Aéroport ,, 10 min max :)

je le recommande pour un séjour de 2 à 3 jours :)

A proscrire pour un voyage d'affaires

Déception totale dès l'entrée dans la réception de l’hôtel.
Pour la restauration il faudrait attendre que le restaurant ouvre au grès de l'humeur du personnel. Pas de choix sauf un pseudo menu imposé.

Belle situation en bord de mer

Ne pas se fier aux apparences. La façade est belle, et le petit déjeuner est correct,mais c'est tout. Hygiène plus que doutable, propreté nulle, nuisance sonore MAXIMUM dans l'hotel.
Cependant ne pas oublier dans quel pays nous sommes et de ce fait pour l’Algérie cela reste un hôtel haut de gamme!!!
