Very clean and nice staff. However the rooms are heavily perfumed with a strong chemical smelling scent. Several people i talked with agreed, that and the fact that the rooms are really super super hot. Breakfast was good. No room service/food.

Stay was ok. I thought i had booked a room with a balcony but they gave us a room without a balcony. Not much vegan optjons at breakfast...the kitchen within the unit wasnt well equipped...not enough dishes to cook..stove does not work well, no paper towels or towels to wipe et...otherwise good place to stay for couple of days...

The hotel staff was super friendly. we were there for our 20th anniversary which we mentioned to the front desk attendance, Jonathan, in passing. Next thing we know, there was wine and chocolate left in the room for us to celebrate the occasion!! we also got upgraded to a king suite which was an amazing penthouse room, with gorgeous views. The Spa was also a nice touch. Over all I think the hotel is a great option in a very good location near all the attractions and restaurants.

Everything was great, is an apart hotel, you have a dining table a small fridge, cook stove, microwave, tv etc. Personnel is very helpful and kind. Breakfast is good and varied. Location is just great, walking distance to everywhere in the city, and you have seashore view from your room window!! I will be back anytime soon!!

This hotel is located very conveniently for walking to everything. The main dock and tons of shopping and restaurants are all within walking distance. Airport is just a short taxi ride away. Very nice staff and a clean and comfortable room. A nice lounge with a great view you can wait in if you have to check out long before your flight

Nice hotel. Only problem was the check-in process. I had booked this hotel the night before our arrival. Upon checking in, the hotel had no record at all of my reservation, even though I had all the necessary booking/confirmation numbers from Expedia. Not sure if this was simply a communication error between Expedia and the hotel, or other. But the hotel is very nice, and the staff we dealt with were amazing.

My room was included with breakfast. I had to leave at 6.15 am for a tour and had requested packed box. The breakfast was at 7 am. We told 3 desk clerks about this . Unfortunately did not get it.
Asked for refund later on our return. Nothing or any other service.
The front desk is very slow.

The hotel is located near the port. Since Ushuaia is a fairly small town, it is easy to walk to the restaurants and shops. The room is specious with a great view of the mountain, port and channel. The staffs are polite and helpful. The only downside is the bathroom didn’t look like cleaned properly.

Looked more like a condo than a hotel room. We had a 2 bedroom flat with living room, kitchen and balcony. Very spacious, probably 80 sq meters (900 sq feet). Place is in good condition but certainly now new, so mostly goof for the space

Interesting place. Kind of old school Euro rooms. It is at the one extreme end of town so be prepared for that. Also, a draconian 10 am check out was enforced. For most expeditions this can leave you homeless for hours.
No real complaints. The staff was nice and straightforward just mind the cautions.

Amazing stay in Ushuiai.
The hotel is great for a stay when the weather is a bit cold with snow - great indoor pool with spa.
the location is great - just a minute walk from the main street and also to the cost walk.
Room, or should i say apartment was great - big and convenient, clean with all the things you need.
Breakfast was good.
we had free safe parking for the days we rented a car and it was very convenient and safe.
Great staff service on all aspects.

This hotel had everything we needed for our stay in Ushuaia. Also they had an extremely friendly and helpful staff, helping with tips about the city. Only downside was that there are no vegetables at all in the breakfast, we brougth our own tomatoes and cucumbers :) Great stay!

Very good view of the Beagle Channel and the commercial wharf. Quiet, comfortable bedroom with a separate lounge/kitchen area.
Friendly and helpful staff. The only minus was the electronic card used as a key for room entry to the room. This failed to work and had to be repeatedly reprogrammed or replaced at reception.

The rooms were a nice size and were well appointed. All fixtures worked well. The staff person at our check in was quiet friendly and very helpful. The staff person at our check out was not as cheerful. Breakfast buffet was adequate.
In short......a fine place in a good location. Our only disappointment was that we were given room 02 which has no view whatsoever - looks out to a wall. This was a bit of a disappointment given the glorious mountain view surrounding all of Ushuaia. But......would stay here again if we coiuld get a better room.

The reception staff is amazing, they did everything for me and went out of thr way to help and make my stay amazing. All the amenities are great, perfect location as just around the cornor from main street. Would definatly recommend and if i come back again will stay for sure. Spa is fine, breakfast is good but not many choice, room cleaning very late so that our room was not made up when we came back at 2 PM for siesta, so room was´t made up 3 days. Although we stayed only one night after a cruise and early AM flight to Buenos Aires wished we could have stayed longer. Booked the Junior Suite and could not have been pleased more. Plenty of room nicely appointed and a spacious balcony. Wished we have time to enjoy their pool and hot tub. Desk attendant recommended El Viejo Marino for dinner that served an outstanding meal (we chose crab) and this restaurant was not a tourist trap. Easy city to walk and many nice spots to visit. Highly recommend the Cilene del Faro.

Would love to give this hotel a four star rating as it is clean, well equipped and the staff lovely. However, after three sleepless nights due to continual noise from the club across the road - commencing at 12 midnight and continuing until 7am - I'm unable to recommend. It's not just the loud music but also the noise from patrons standing outside the club.

The hotel ambience is great, very near to everything (except the Cerro Castor mountain, which is about 25 minutes by shuttle). Staff is very friendly, the owner herself used to go the breakfast tables every morning to offer various advices, such as the wonderful help-ski that she recommended.

Very accommodating hotel. We arrived at 9am and despite the official check in time being 2pm they allowed us to have breakfast and use their lounge as the weather was terrible. They were extremely helpful in making tour reservations for us and recommendations on dinner options. The pool and hot tub area were an added bonus. The breakfast room offers tv screen showing the weather conditions outside - it was fun to sit there and watch the sunrise. The breakfast choices were varied and catered to everyone in the group.
Only downside was that the kitchen area in the room doesn't have an oven or even a toaster oven so cooking options were limited.

Convenient Location, Good Rooms with Views\n

We selected this hotel based on it's Expedia description and mapped locations. It has a convenient and quiet location at the east end of the business district and only 1/2 block from the Beagle Channel. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. The staff was helpful and able to books several excursions for us. We were pleased to receive a room upgrade and no extra cost.

Close enough to walk to the main street and the cruise port. Sauna, gym and pool were nice. I had a suite and it was very spacious with a kitchen. I had a relaxation massage but didn't quite enjoy it as it felt like someone just rubbing lotion on me and the room I was in didn't feel secure. My brother got the deconstructive massage and really enjoyed it.

The hotel's location is its biggest attraction. Nearly all of the tour companies depart from the dock and the hotel is a 5 minute walk. The hotel is at the end of the main strip of shops and restaurants, but the town isn't that large so walking everywhere in town is easy.

We did not make use of the spa, but the we did use the gym. The equipment was older but it all worked.

The free breakfast was fine, but not remarkable.

The staff is friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a two bedroom, two bathroom suite. It appears all rooms come with a full kitchen:
- Refrigerator
- Electric stove
- Microwave
- Cups, silverware and flatware

All and all we would return to this hotel.

I stayed here for a few days prior to an Antarctic cruise. The staff was very gracious and spoke very good English. My room was on the 3rd floor and had a decent view of the port. I utilized the spa services and was surprised and the professional quality of the massage for the price - $295p ~ $50us. Breakfast was average for South America (cheeses, bread, fruit, etc.)

In comparison to other hotels in the area this was very \"middle of the road\" for the price. I was able to book early at a discounted rate. I don't think I would have been happy if I paid full price. One other thing to mention is that this hotel is at the end of the main road in town. This is nice because you avoid the traffic noise at night, but it also means that it takes a few minutes longer to get to and from the hotel whilst shopping. That was a minor hassle at the end of a long day of trekking...not necessarily a deal-breaker. Also, make sure to bring converters if you run 110v devices (mainly US). This surprised me because most South American hotels I've stayed at have the universal outlets. The front desk will lend you a few if needed, but they're usually in short supply.

If the price was right, I'd stay here again. But without discounts, there are better hotels in the area to consider.

Concierge service to help plan activities is poor...just offering some pre-arrnged trips, and not very helpful in pointing you to other potential activity providers. No one explained the property services, like spa, pool, etc.

O hotel atende bem. Boa localização. O apartamento tem uma cozinha que possibilita fazer alguma refeição no local. Além disso, o hotel dispõe de outras facilidade como sauna, piscina aquecida etc que funcionam super bem. O café da manhã é maravilhoso!
Os pontos que poderiam melhorar seriam: os travesseiros muito altos e o chão muito gelado. Uma reforma para modernizar os apartamentos tb cairia bem.

En verdad fueron muy amables, especialmente Ignacio quién no dudó en ayudarme con la maleta y otros temas. Lo peor del hotel, es el olor a humedad, y para mí no tiene buen mantenimiento.Tiene 12 años, parece que tuviera 30. La edificación es vetusta y el baño que me tocó algo básico,sin shampoo, cepillo de dientes y tampoco una botella de agua en la heladera. Venía de un tres estrellas y debo confesar que era un lujo. Lo mejor que tiene es la vista, la amplitud de las habitaciones y la gente amable. Pero el olor es agobiante, de hecho no hay ningún sector donde no se sienta. En comparación con el de 3 estrellas, es bastante caro.

Porém houve um incidente desagradável em nosso quarto, onde um homem entrou sem aviso, sem bater, e ficou no quarto por vários minutos. Minha filha estava só e ficou muito assustada. Nossas coisas íntimas estavam espalhadas, o que é constrangedor. O quarto estava até com uma cama quebrada depois do incidente. Depois de buscar entender o que houve, disseram que era uma pessoa da manutenção, e que não era para ter ido ao quarto com hóspedes. Não solicitamos nada de manutenção e não havia nada errado com o quarto. Não ouvi desculpas de ninguém, não houve maiores explicações e não ficamos mais tranquilos depois disso. Nao esperava isso num hotel desse nível.

O Cilene tem quarto, banheiro, sala e sacada, o que te dá amplitude de espaço raro nas acomodações em geral. Muito interessante.
A gerencia foi muito cordial conosco em relação ao horário de saida pq tivemos uma necessidade específica. Parabéns equipe Cilene
