We stayed at the White Bench Resort during the UK Easter school holidays (April 11th to 18th, 2025) as a family of three. Before booking in February, I had done extensive research online on hotels around Hurghada, focusing on location, facilities, and reviews. I'm glad I chose the White Bench Resort.

There are plenty of pools to choose from: four heated kids' pools, one very large heated pool (subdivided into several small ones for easy access), one very large unheated pool and a couple of small ones. The beachfront is well-organised, with plenty of seating available. However, to secure a good spot, you'll need to head down to the beach early in the morning.

The room was a good size and included all the amenities we needed. It was very clean throughout our stay.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable—definitely worth recommending.

As for the food, it was well-balanced. There are three main restaurants and one à la carte option. You can pretty much eat all day—from 5:00 AM to midnight.

Overall, I would recommend this resort for families.

The hotel is okay, good for families with young kids.. but it’s not very entertaining for older and teenagers kids.
I liked the cleanliness, it is high level which was a good thing. Also the the big areas of heated pools were nice and enjoyable.
The food has huge variety but it’s not yummy, majority of dishes are not pleasant to eat (either over cooked or with strong spices), and sweet options are below average.. food overall is not yummy.
Service is ok, but I felt staff are not happy, and give you the feeling that no tips no good service.. and that is not good at all, as it’s not fair in every place I go in the hotel I should be ready to tip everyone.
Animation team is on the boring side, we did not feel them that much and the nightly show was very boring except one night was above average.
Maintainance of entertaining games is not good: table tennis is in bad condition, with broken rackets.. tennis court cannot be used to play tennis, as the net around the court is useless, any ball goes out of the court as if nothing surrounding it.
Overall the hotel is okay, but I would consider other places in Hurghada next time.

Just had 5 days vacation there lovely place very friendly staff many options for dining I targeted the oriental restaurant which was amazing there is also Italian Asian restaurant all open Beaufet and ala carte
Pools are beautiful and clean always life guards avalobke there is aqua park also active animation team with shows after dinner and exercises in the pool
Very family and kid friendly
For sure will come again

Everything is perfect. What an amazing resort. It deserves 10/10. Staff are very friendly and professional. Super clean and well organized. I am waiting to have an accomodation there again. All facilities are available. Great location. Food is very delicious. Many restaurants and bars are available. Beach is super clean. Many very clean pools are available everywhere.

My family and I absolutely loved this resort. It was an amazing experience and the perfect place for vacation. On arrival we were greeted by Islam who was super helpful and available to us the entire trip. He was able to accommodate us on all our requests. There was always so much to do at this resort. The pools and beach were beautiful. The resort also offers many fun activities during the day and at night. My personal favorite was the night time pool party on our last night of our vacation. The hotels spa was super relaxing and was exactly what I needed for this vacation. We created many relationships with hotel staff and even with the vendors from across the streets. Overall I highly recommend this resort, it is truly a hidden gem!

Perfect place for families and especially kids.
Day is full of activities which is amazing.
Beach is a bit rocky not pure sandy.
The food is terrible and tasteless.
Animation team can do better in terms of interactions with the guests.
Parking places inside the hotel is limited, so the staff sometimes choose or pick who gets to park inside which is disappointing.

Albatross Beach hotel is a very large hotel that caters for all ages.
Likes:
The service was exceptional in all areas of the hotel. Staff were friendly and efficient.
Rooms: very modern, clean and well equipped
Pools, some of which were heated
Lovely beach
Slight grumbles: It was very difficult to get a table for a party of 6 sitting outside at the buffet restaurants. There was a lack of atmosphere in the restaurants. The variety of food was limited.

This is a very large hotel so I am glad we did not visit when it was at it's busiest (during the school holidays).
We were a party of six, covering 3 generations and the hotel catered well for us all.

Overall the property is new, the hotel started operating 2 months ago , the staff is more than amazing and very friendly . the food was not the best during the whole stay.. if you can manage to get BB room and eat from any other restaurant that will be a perfect decision.. rooms were very clean , the pool and the beach are perfect . yet the pools don't yet have heaters which makes it very cold for kids

Bon hotel dans l'ensemble.
Le grand plus de cette établissement estcla nourriture les restaurants dont top tres bon ret varie tout les jours. Le snacks est ttes appréciable l'après-midi.
L'animation pour les enfants on a vu mieux dans les autres hotel.
Les piscines enfant sont chauffée.
Les personnes qui bosses autour de la piscines moin cool et il n'y a pas assez de bed pour la piscines. Tout le monde saute dessu le matin c'est horrible.

O melhor lugar de Hurghada pra ficar!

Nossa estadia foi maravilhosa, do início ao fim, e senti a mesma coisa dos outros hóspedes, quarto, lazer, alimentação, conforto, praia, enfim, fora o custo benefício, ficamos 6 noites e o pior da viagem foi ter que ir embora.

All was very good. They changed our room as we like. The resort is very nice and very clean. The only things i didn't like it is the snack bar ( a lot of birds eatind there) and the buffet. Only breakfast was good for me. My second time at that resort.

Siamo stati ospiti della struttura per 10 giorno a novembre 2024, prima dell'arrivo eravamo intimoriti per il cibo invece devo dire che se si è predisposti ad una cucina internazionale come noi il cibo risulta ottimo; cucina asiatica, egiziana, marocchina, italiana, americana, di tutto. Stanze grandi e letti comodi, buffet aperti dalle 5.30 del mattino a mezzanotte, una piscina riscaldata e una no, il tutto a 5 minuti dall'aeroporto.
Ahmed del ristorante WoW é una persona fantastica!
Non vediamo l'ora di tornare!

C'est magnifique, propre, moderne. Personnel au top et serviable. Repas hyper bon. Animations quotidiennes. Tarif correct.
Suggestion : diminuer le volume des animations car c'est vraiment fort.
Tout le monde parle Allemand et Anglais.

Tout était parfait !
S'il y a un point à amèliorer c'est les buffets.
Trés ordinaire pour un 5 étoiles. La présentation et la variete est tres ordinaire. On dirait plus une cafeteria d'école au lieu d'un buffet.
Une seule personne le matin pour faire les oeufs c'est decourageant d'attendre.
Le snack proche de la plage est vraiment TROP ordinaire et il y a plein d'oiseaux qui touchent la nourriture. Un grand filet devrait être mis ou bien il faut fermer cet endroit. J'ai mangé la une fois car j'ai ete degoutee.
Tout le reste est A1.

We had a geat holiday! The hotel and grounds we're very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The all inclusive restaurants and bars we're great and the pools and beach close by with lots of space! The service was also great!
The only problem was one of our beds: the matress and pillows hurt our backs. But the staff reacted quickly and tried everything to remedy the situation.
We can highly recommend a stay at the hotel! We very much enjoyed ourselfs.

Wir hatten das White Beach gebucht , haben aber leider gebucht Leistung nicht erhalten. Wir würden uns Blu Spa umgebucht ohne zu fragen ! Dabei hatten wir uns bewusst fürs White beach entschieden da das Blu Spa uns nicht zugesagt hat da dort alles so kahl und unfreundlich wirkte. Es war ein Urlaub in dem man sich nicht wohl fühlte! Und Expedia hat uns nur einen Gutschein für 2 Personen gegeben !!! Drum gekümmert hat sich keiner!

Wij zijn 10 dagen op dit resort geweest. Prachtig resort direct aan het strand. Alles is goed georganiseerd. Fijn en gezellig animatieteam. Ook het eten in de avond is uitstekend. Wordt klaar gemaakt waar je bij staat. De pizza buiten in de avond op het terras is werkelijk perfect en wordt bereid door een hele vriendelijke meneer.
Wat wij minder prettig vonden waren de opdringerige verkopers van excursies. Maar na 2 dagen kregen we bij de handdoeken ook een 'do not disturb' vlaggetje. Ideaal!
Excursie snorkelen/duiken is perfect georganiseerd! Aanrader. Evenals de safaritocht naar een bedoeïenendorp en buggy/quad rijden. Top!
Kamers worden ontzettend goed schoongemaakt. Badkamer was wel wat verouderd.

Familien(club)hotel mit riesiger Poollandschaft und Auswahl ohne Ende beim Essen. Für Familien mit Kindern zu empfehlen. Aber zu einem „richtigen“ 5 Sterne Hotel fehlt aus meiner Sicht noch einiges beim Service. Engagiertes Personal ist gut, aber manchmal musste man aufpassen, dass einem nicht die Teller noch beim Essen weggezogen werden. Beim Espresso muss man sagen small sonst erhält man eine Kaffeetasse, wo man definitiv nicht weiß ob es Kaffee oder Espresso ist. Der Cappuccino kommt meines Erachtens meistens aus dem Automaten. Wer richtig guten Service wie im 5 Sterne Hotel haben möchte sollte das kostenlose Angebot des WOW Restaurant nutzen.
