Fantastic Stay at the Lennox!

Great Stay at the Lennox, in the heart of the town! Be prepared for some late night noise, loud cars and bikes especially, but can't beat the location! Everything is walking distance! Was given a great room at check-in too, amazing view!

The property is modern and clean and in a great location on the main street, however the rooms are really small and have very little storage. The rooms are also not sound proofed and we could hear our next door neighbors as well as loud people outside all through the night as it was a Saturday on our first night.
The breakfast was good and the 4th floor lounge was nice.
The staff was okay, but they didn't let us stay even an extra hour without paying.
If you decide to stay here, please take aer plugs.
The view from our room was very nice, as it was from the dining room.

Very Nice Hotel!

Unfortunately, we were unable to experience the full hotel and they had a gas problem and the rooms were going to be cold. Upon arrival, they had already made arrangments for us to go to another hotel including the transporation to the new hotel. We had Christmas dinner reservation still at the hotel as the restaurant was open and it was fantastic! Really cring staff, went out of their way and did a marvelous job! The hotel from waht we could see was very nice and comfortable and in the heart of town and walkable every where!

The hotel is clean, well managed and the drinks are cheap. However, the construction / maintenance going on between midnight to 5AM prevented a restful sleep and they should have known to schedule that during the day. Hearing drills go off in the early morning for a light sleeper was not relaxing.

The only thing was that the street San Martin never sleeps and can be noisy all hours of the night. There is no way to cool the room other than opening the balcony door which lets in the cooler air but also the noise. There were only 2 outlets in the room and 1 was behind the bed. There was no chair with a back in the room which made doing any work at the small table tiring. The staff was excellent and the breakfast was very good with scrambled eggs, cereal, and breads with ham and cheese and many other delights. The bed was firm and yet soft. I would stay here again.

This hotel is in the center of town and very convenient for walking to everything. Airport is close and taxi to airport is only about $4.00 USD. The room was clean and comfortable. My only recommendation would be more choices on the lunch meu in the restaurant but since there are so many restaurants within walking distance this really isn't an issue.

Wonderfully located in the middle of the township. The view from the breakfast floor on level 4 is spectacular. The staff are always polite and ready to assist. English is spoken by reception and a french too. I woukd stay here again.

This hotel location is excellent, right on San Martín Ave, the main street of Ushuaia where all the shops are located.

We stayed in Room 401, which is on the highest floor. The room is modern and clean, with a balcony that has great views of the mountain. The size is acceptable considering the price and location.

They offer breakfast at the BuenaVista restaurant just outside the room, with great Panaromic views.

The staff are very friendly. The manager Freddy will attend to your special request. Front desk staff Santiago was very friendly and recommended a few good restaurants for us during our stay (La Estancia for Parrilla buffet 1000 peso and Tia Elvira for live King Crab 2900 peso).

There is a supermarket on San Martín Ave called LA Anonima about 10min walk where you can buy things like water. Hard Rock Cafe is a block away with live music on Fri and Sat nights.

This is a hotel in Ushuaia that I can recommend.

This little hotel is on the main street of Ushuaia, well located in the middle of shops and restaurants, and only a short walk to the water, docks, and museums. My room was cozy and warm, with a little balcony for looking at the street below and mountains above. The best part of the hotel is by far the restaurant on the top floor, with windows on three sides providing a view of the water, mountains, sunrise, and sunset. Breakfast is included and is standard fare for Argentinian hotels. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay here! The location was fantastic - right on the main street and just a few blocks from the port (where all the tour agencies are, and where the Beagle Channel tours start from). Loved staying here because it was easy to walk to great food and we always felt safe (even late at night) because there were always people around. Only downside would be if you want to turn in early and need it to be really quiet because it was definitely still lively at 1am. The hotel staff were really friendly too. The front desk has a lot of brochures for various tours, but we were interested in something not advertised, and the staff went out of their way to look up tours, call agencies, and book something for us last-minute. Amazing! I would highly recommend this hotel and would certainly stay there again.

Rooms are terrible, Beds are the worst with absolutely no support. Think a half filled waterbed would give more support... The rooms are also badly organized, they are small which is fine but because of that you can not have unneeded furniture in them.... The Bidet makes getting in and out of the bath/shower dangerous because you have to step over it. Service was unimpressive and unresponsive. Room service menu in the room says it is from 7am - 10pm. When we called for something it was not available apart from 8pm - 10pm... They said that is all it ever was. Location is great if you want to be downtown Ushuaia but the location is all this hotel has going for it.

Ushuaia never again

Clean but at 10:30pm people started screaming in the streets. Motorcycles raced up and down the street in front of the hotel. Cars were screeching and horns were honking. It stopped about 1:30am I had to get up at 6am to go to the airport. The hotel was clean. No one spoke English. Hotel was in a good location but there was a night club right next door. Don't the locals know we supply their jobs and pay their salaries as tourists. Where was the hotel security? Where were the local police?

Close to everything

Ushuaia has one main street and this hotel is right in the middle of it, so you can walk to shops, restaurants, or down to the port in just a few minutes. I was here for one night before getting on a ship to Antarctica and it was nice to have a very clean, comfy room. Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Would have been nice if they could change money for you (I arrived on a Sunday and every ATM in town was empty) but otherwise it was a nice stay.

Beautiful, but...

It's a gorgeous hotel. The lobby and rooms are stylish and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately, the building is very poorly made. In your room, you can hear staff two floors above washing silverware, your neighbors, the elevator doors opening and closing, and the party outside that goes on all night.

I'm addition, the hotel advertises having a restaurant, but it was closed two out of the four nights I was there.

The hotel is well located downtown, the desk clerks were kind and speak good English. The problem was with the room we received, first floor near the garbage bin that was not emptied the whole time we were there. From the window all we could see was that garbage and the walls of nearby buildings. We complained, they took notice but nothing happened, all 3 nights we had that room.

The room we had was in and interior small courtyard so although quiet was dark. We had to close our curtains and put the light on as we were overlooked by people in a room opposite ours. The room was very small with just enough room to walk around the bed. This made it quite difficult as we had a lot of luggage being cold down there. So, not enough places to put cases, and unpack clothes, especially when you come in wet and cold. The room was very warm which was great having come in cold and the bath had a jacuzzi jets for a hot soak. The dining room at the top of the hotel, although small had views of the bay. The breakfast was very basic. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Not the \"Best Choice\"

The Lennox Hotel gives an impression of luxury and service. In fact, it is a disguise for poor customer service, excuses, and disappointing quality. Upon checking in, the front desk gals were unfriendly, and made no offer to assist with luggage. (which actually was a first at a hotel at the caliber they advertise). According to my Hotels.com reservation I was supposed to have a room with a balcony overlooking city or mountain views. Instead, I had a room overlooking an indoor patio. (So, make sure if you stay here to pay close attention to what you ordered and what you get). I was so tired from travel, that I just stayed in what they gave me, since my itinerary didn't allow for too much room time anyway. The room itself was small (enough for one or two) but not enough room for luggage. There was a small desk, and the chair could only pull out so far without hitting the bed. Room was dusty, and upkeep was poor. Sheets didn't look clean, and bathtub didn't either. The clincher for me was that the walls in my room were so thin. I literally could hear every sentence in the room next to me. During the day, not an issue so much, but when I was trying to sleep, a HUGE problem for me. When I took it up with the front desk gal who checked me in, she seemed overly bothered and annoyed that I even mentioned it. I would never stay there again.

Room very small. Bathroom not very functional in terms of space . I had requested twin beds and found Queen size upon arrival and my patient was running thin after two days of travel. However the staff at breakfast was great and very efficient . Wish I could say the same about concierge! I would pick different hotel next time.

Lennox hotel - beware

This was my 3rd time staying with Lennox Hotel and was selected beacuse of it convenience to everything. Staff were pleasant and cordial. The major issue for me was that the internet was virtually non-existant at the hotel and caused a lot of inconvenience not being able to communicate with the outside world to my family back home and back to my main office for business purposes. Sometimes a simple reboot of the hotels router would rectify the situation temporarily and other times the employees would not bother and simply tell us at the hotel that the internet was down in the area. Only to then when returning to our rooms we would be able to log on via wifi from a nearby hotel across the street, with very little bandwith, but it provided a temporary band-aid solution. With this being said I believe that with the cost associated for my stay there the hotel could have offered a better solution to the problems encountered by the guests. I personally will not return back dus to this issue. If you are looking for a location to stay for pleasure, you may be satisfied but if you are primarily there for business, this may not be the place for you.

For the price paid we considered it was much overpriced for what was provided.

The room was extremely disappointing in size and layout. We had asked for a rrom with a view of the Beagle Channel and there was only a very limited view available to one person at a time at an angle from the very corner of the room and that was obstructed by other buildings, etc. The main view was a nearby igh white wall although the publicity.suggested most rooms had a good view of the Beagle Channel or the Andes, which when there seemed most unlikely given the location of the hotel and the other room we were shown when we asked to consider a change of rooms. The room was not appointed to a high standard - what was supposed to be a double bed was badly jointed at the centre of two single mattresses - we appreciate that joining two mattresses is what is common but usually they fit together more seamlessly whereas here there was a definite gap or difference in levels. There were no tea or coffee making faciilities as we would expect in England.

The only evening drink we suffered in the 'restuarant' was cold cloudy red wine which one of us had to leave.

The breakfast was lacking in scope and choice and uninteresting even given it was advertised as a continental breakfast.

The lady receptionist on duty afternoons was however very pleasant and helpful with various requests.

We would definitely not use this hotel again and consider it very poor value for the money charged.

Love this place!

I spent two lovely days here in July 2009. It was a good time of the year since the town is not overrun by tourists as is during the summer, only a few ski bunnies like myself. The staff was very kind and attentive and had a lot of good suggestions for activities. The rooms are small but well decorated and cozy. Love the jacuzzi tub! I would recommend rooms that are not on the street side as it can get noisy at night. Beautiful hardwood floors. My favorite part was the \"\"reading room\"\" on the top floor with big flat screen tv and fireplace plus amazing views. Just ask the management to light the fire for you and bring a good book. It was so cozy! Highly recommend this place.

Porém no hoteis.com faltou a informação sobre a política do hotel de cobrar caução no check-in e o estorno dela após 24 horas do check-out. Essa é uma prática comum nos EUA, por isso não entendo o motivo dessa informação ter sido omitida.

Good for one night but would look elsewhere for a longer stay. Breakfast was so so but there is a good bakery across the street which opens at 09:00.

El personal del lobby es servicial pero lo básico. Ushuaia es un lugar muy pequeño y deberían preguntar un poco más sobre si necesitamos información para aprovechar bien nuestra estancia. Gracias.

Fica na avenida principal de Ushuaia.
A parte ruim é que eles pedem um cartão como crédito.. e reembolsam depois. Não gosto disso!
Café fraco mas o normal para Argentina.

Hotel simples, bem localizado, com uma recepção calorosa para os padrões argentinos. Quarto muito pequeno e com somente 1 tomada elétrica para carregar celulares, p.ex. Uma boa opção para estadia em Ushuaia.

Gostei, mas atenção

Hotel bem localizado, mas me forneceram um apartamento inferior ao que eu tinha reservado e pago. O café da manhã é bom, a vista é maravilhosa. O sistema de calefação é muito bom. Para quem quer ficar no centro é uma excelente pedida!

O hotel fica muito bem localizado, os funcionários são super atenciosos, mas há um descuido muito grande , em relação a limpeza, e falta de cuidados com detalhes. Por exemplo : espelhos dos elevadores sujos, abajures com a copa torta, rolo vazio do papel higiênico, esquecido em cima do vaso sanitário, do banheiro social.
Copos que não foram trocados no quarto,
Nada que não possa ser melhorado!

Hôtel Lennox et Resto Buenavista , Duo gagnant.

L’Hotel Lennox est très bien situé, au milieu de la rue du shopping, San Martin. Chambre et sdb spacieuses. Très bonne isolation lumineuse et sonore. Mobilier style argentin, donc un peu sombre.
Le personnel est agréable et parle anglais. Le restaurant avec vue, au 4* étage sert des petits déjeuners complets le matin, et on peut y manger très correctement à midi ou le soir. Bonne viande cuite à la convenance.
Recettes locales de fruits de mer. Les prix sont vraiment très abordables Espaces détente cosy.

acomodações de quarto razoáveis. piso frouxo fazendo barulho, colchão vencido. café da manhã deixou muito a desejar. pão velho, café frio, omelete com ovos duvidosos, medialunas velhas...iogurte sem consistência . localização boa
