The room was very clean and beds were extremely comfortable. I liked the location of this hotel as it was right in the middle of everything in town. I REALLY didn't care for the shower as it wasn't friendly to bodies of all sizes. While the breakfast was adequate, I felt like there could have been a few more choices of things to eat. The staff was friendly and helpful when needed.

This was a quick overnight stay. We were at the hotel for 6 hours. The lady at the front desk was pleasant and very helpful. There was a language barrier but she was patient and worked to answer our questions about the area. The beds were nice and the property was clean. I would stay again for sure.

We visited twice, 24-26 March and 4-5 April. Room was good, but had to get glasses for drinking. There were black plastic cups whose cleanliness was questionable. Breakfast was very good. They have deli fare for lunch bites. On 26 March, there was NO ENGLISH SPEAKING PERSON available in the entire hotel so we could not communicate effectively!!! I wanted to store a bag, but no help from front desk lady. Hotels who book foreign tourists need multilingual staff available at all times. We would not return.

A bit overpriced, but everything in Ushuaia is expensive. Breakfast was meager—not much higher than youth hostel quality. My biggest complaint was that the heat is difficult to regulate because the heating is from a traditional radiator. If you’re familiar with radiators you can throttle it down (or ask Reception for help, as they advise). My friends who stayed in other rooms had the same problem. All of us were opening the window to cool the room down. This was February—summer—so who knows whether I would have felt the same way in July.

Well checked in at 8:30pm already late to have to pay 100 percent of the cost of a room and have to check out at 10am. And to have our room not ready is a huge mistake. Also two separate reservations was made accidentally on hotels.com for two nights. It was suppose to be one reservation. Not sure if you can correct this overnight on your side. I paid $5 plus dollar for security and this was suppose to be for my two days of reservation. Anyways now I’m sitting in the lobby waiting for my room to be cleaned. Room is hot. Way too small for two adults and one child. Bathroom isn’t the Cleanest. Can’t turn in shower without touching walls.
Room wasn’t ready so had to leave hotel to get dinner. Loud motorcycles constantly driving by. Can’t open windows for cooler air due to room being hot as that will just make more outside noise come in. This room was super cheap in the middle of plenty of shops and restaurants. But even for a very cheap $60 I’d rather have spent more to have a comfortable stay. There is a nice looking food area downstairs. Hotel did not provide any remedy for not having our room ready.

Best place to stay in Ushuaia

Prime location on Ushuaia’s main street, San Martin, with all the shops, restaurants, and people. Far better than the street along the waterfront where it’s more industrial with shops less attractive and further apart.

Peruse the internet, eat, drink, or just watch the street scene from the glass-fronted lounge or MarcoPolo coffee shop which is actually part of the hotel and where breakfast is served. A microwave is available.

Lovely staff, every one of them. If you don’t see what you need at the breakfast spread, just ask.

The rooms are smallish but use space extremely well. Everything you need is there, including fridge and kettle, and plenty of wall shelving to store unneeded items to maximize floor space. I pushed my bed right up against the radiant heater, so cozy and a great way to dry any hand washing. Bathrooms have bidets and hair dryers.

Free luggage storage downstairs if you arrive early or need a place to leave luggage after checkout. The hotel offers a formal storage service, Stasher.com, for your Antarctica cruise.

Localização excelente, na rua principal de Ushuaia. Fiquei em um quarto com janela voltada para o porto, bem silencioso e tranquilo.
As roupas de cama e toalhas eram novas e limpas. A limpeza do quarto foi boa durante a estadia.
Só senti falta de uma cadeira e uma mesa de apoio.
O café da manhã é básico, mas saboroso.

Guaranteed 2pm check in. Arrived at 11:30am and explained we had to leave at 2:15pm for a tour and asked for an early check in. I know it’s not guaranteed which is fine but he responded no problem we will definitely get you in early. Threw him a nice tip. After eating we sat in the lobby why this dude played on his phone and occasionally stared at us until finally at 2:10pm I walked up and asked about our room. He said they just finished it but I need to go check it. Finally got the check in code at 2:20pm and by the time we dropped everything we barely made our tour and got garbage seats. Decent hotel but front desk staff was not friendly guessing because I’m American. Oh well I wouldn’t stay there again.

A lovely stay at this hotel in the middle of town. I will definitely be booking this for my next trip. Staff very helpful. I was able to store my luggage following an early morning arrival, a few hours later I received a text saying my room was ready (before check in time). Great service all around So nice having a coffee shop restaurant on site. Nice breakfast too.

Very good breakfast included with the room. Having a restaurant in the hotel was convenient as well. They let us store our luggage with them so we could explore the city before and after our cruise which was very helpful. Beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

The property was very nice and held our luggage and help get our laundry quickly. The staff is really super.

There are no elevators and we were down several small flights of stairs to get to our room. The rooms and all the furniture throughout the hotels are very updated. The sofas in the lobby are visibly lumpy. The breakfast which is included is mostly day-old pastries and cookies.

Arrived early in the morning after disembarking from Antarctica Expedition ship and was offered cold glass of water and early check-in! Cap Polonio location is excellent for enjoying Ushuaia activities. Room was great, overlooking lively Av. San Martin.

The conditions of the hotel is terrible. And you can hear everything happends around your room. During night time they swith on something which Sounds as Huge washing or laungry mashine, its sound not the one helps you to relax and sleep.
Staff try to be pleasant but when they say you must change the room becouse they provide you not that one they have to, it makes you nervous. We had tight scedule and there was no time to change with pucking and unpucking our luggage.

We found the reception staff very helpful as well as those working in the Eatery. We greatly appreciated the convenience of being able to use the downstairs lounge throughout the day whilst we so uncertain of our travel plans due to the airline strike. Also appreciated the fact that someone on staff had an understanding of English.

This is a very average hotel whose main plus point is its location in the centre of the Main Street in Ushuaia (also a negative, due to the noise volume outside). Reception staff not overly helpful, but not rude, breakfast average, room quite basic, although clean and as my room overlooked the Main Street, the fact that the actual window was such rubbish quality (you could see through gaps to the outside), the regular loud noise was more than just a minor inconvenience. Ushuaia seems to suffer from a plague of ‘boy racers’ all through the night, with loud exhausts and huge music systems, so gaps in the window meant that these, plus endless groups of loud drunks shouting and bawling, lent to very little sleep.

We booked a twin room, but had to pay for an EXTRA ROOM, more than 300 dollars for our 2 kids, one is 8 and one is 5. The room is terribly small and can't even add an extra bed. I bet we would certainly leave the hotel if the existing book is refundable. I checked the hotel details on the website, yet there did be the description of \"all age of customer would be treated as adults\", after my arrival at the front desk and found that's not only a oral regulation but a fact, for the room is terribly small, even without kids, two adults would be hard to move in the room, especially the bathroom, even my 5 years daughter complaint it was too small!!! Comparing with the price, I'd say, just disgusting!!!

Excelente custo-benefício. Entrega o que se propõe a entregar. No coração de Ushuaia, no centro de tudo. Quarto limpo e confortável, café da manhã justo, levando-se em consideração o preço da diária. Único senão é o tamanho do quarto. Viajei eu, minha esposa e minha filha, o quarto é apertado. Talvez se tivesse pego o quarto quádruplo para nós três a experiência seria melhor.

A localização é perfeita. Tudo muito limpo e aconchegante. Eu me hospedaria lá outra vez sem dúvidas, mas gostaria de deixar algumas observações. O pior ponto para mim é o café da manhã. Muito fraco pelo que cobram da hospedagem e prioriza mais doces do que salgado. Não existe a opção de com ou sem. Se no futuro existir, eu pegaria sem café (porque a hospedagem realmente é MUITO boa), e tomaria café em outro lugar ou até mesmo as opções pagas da cafeteria do hotel. Duas observações que para nós não foram um problema, mas para outros pode pegar: 1. Banheiro bem apertado 2. O barulho da rua com a janela aberta. A janela anti ruído é perfeita, zero incômodo, mas se vc estiver no verão lá e precisar abrir pra circular um ar ouvirá o barulho.
