Excellent customer service, all the staff are so friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble. Special thanks to John who was the activity coordinator and boat trip organiser such a lovely enthusiastic man. Hotel is at the end of a beautiful long beach.

Excellent Rooms and Service!

Loved this hotel! Was greeted at the front desk by the lovely receptionist and staff members. They welcomed us to paradise at the Paradise Sun Hotel. Service here was incredible!! Staff at this hotel were friendly, kind, able to make us feel welcomed and helpful. The room was spectacular, large, able to see the ocean from our front porch and very clean & tidy. Food here is definitely delicious!! Every evening for dinner is a different theme night for their buffet. Lots of delicious food. Waiters and Waitresses were lovely and gave excellent service! Receptionists were friendly, helpful and really enjoyed talking with them. There was not much of a beach while we were there. During the Spring season, the tide was a high, so there was not really a beach to walk on. Only able to walk on the beach at certain times. But the view of the ocean and other island was spectacular!! I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends. We are already planning our next trip to stay at this hotel again!

Great family getaway

Tucked away at the end of the bay, this is a slick run operation with excellent food. Activities and live music, great options for adventures in the surrounding areas - it's all you need for a special Seychelles vacation. Thank you paradise sun!

Compre to other hotels what we paid and what we got this hotel totally disappointed me. First of all, no welcome with smile on the face even though our honeymoon. Better talk to robot. No pick up service ,Dirty shower screen, no water for shower had to stand to wait with soap on whole bady, wifi often discounted, not enough beach towel, many times kayaks were not available, activity tools broken or missing part. No infomation for what kind of theme dinner. Wait for concierge for 10 min even though they know what time i check out. This hotel old but im not complain about small room, small pool or old style. Just not good enough customer service. I dont know how people pay that amount to get these service and gave them 10 out of 10??? I would not recommend this hotel. Pay more and stay the best one praslin or stay smilar level hotel on other island.

Nice hotel with very attentive staff

Great location with an amazing beach! Staff is really really nice and attentive.
The food is good, with decent amount of local dishes! We especially enjoyed the local fruit!

Only a couple of suggestions for the management:
- put the sunbed pillows away in the night so they will be dry in the morning
- have some simple printed news in the morning to go along with the breakfast. Seen this in couple of hotels in Seycheless and its a nice feature.
- as far as food, perhaps a bit more vegetarian options wouldnt hurt, and some rustic whole-grain bread, especially in the morning

3 star hotel, 5 star price.

Paradise Sun is a decent resort but as all hotels in this area, it is very expensive. The resort is next to a nice beach, and does include ½ board. Rooms are okay – not luxurious - more of an average hotel. The resort website does a great job of hiding the fact that most of the cottage style rooms are actually four-plexes. They show two rooms side by side in a bungalow style, but our room we had noisy upstairs neighbors and the rooms are not sound proofed. Most of the resort rooms are like this. We had a small deck, but the room was far away from the ocean so we mostly spent time on the provided beach chairs when it wasn’t pouring rain. The “included” activities were worthless. The snorkel tour has a 400 rupee surcharge, supposedly for park fees, and we weren’t told that we needed to pay cash upon our return from the trip – we signed up with our room numbers and thought they would just charge our room. I thought the guy was going to break my knee caps to get payment from us since we didn’t bring rupees with us. Very poor and we only got to snorkel for ½ hour. We took a private snorkel tour for 800 rupee pp for the whole day, the boat took us to two islands and we snorkeled for hours. Plus, the park fees are only 200 – so it’s a total snare that the fee was just to cover that. They should just charge 500 rupee to your room. Skip it. The free sunset cruise was so overcrowded that my poor father was smushed onto a bench meant for two or three people with four people. Miserable

The team was very nice and helpful, the beach is beautiful and the resturant were nice. The room was a bit old and not that equipped, also had some bugs. Our experience was overall good but we felt that it was overpriced for what we got.

Initial difficulty with reception quickly resolved satisfactorily by resort director Ross. Henceforth, our stay was really first rate and we would not hesitate recommending it to our friends. Location, amenities, cusine and activities were great.

Nice resort and very kind staff. I would recommend it, as it allows to get a good compromise between comfort, nice beaches and costs. My only suggestions worldwide be to add some mosquitos protections on beds (as in many other similar places around the world) and bit more variety in the dinner menues. But these are details, the overall rating si very good.

Lovely hotel on a beautiful beach

Hotel is on a fantastic beach. The staff are wonderfully unobtrusive. We had ground level bungalow that was perfect for our young family. The room was very well appointed. Not your typically carbon copy hotel room. Lots of wood...a real \"islandy\" feel. The food breakfast and dinner buffets were above average for a resort buffet. The chefs and waiters were very cheerful and helpful. Babysitter was one of the housekeeping staff who was very lovely.
You must go to Anse Lazio Beach (in the morning) which is close by and to Le Digue is you stay here.

This hotel is very well situated with many amenities and restaurants close by. Although, the food is quite good at Paradise and cheaper than the surrounding restaurants. The grounds are very well maintained and most importantly the staff could not be more accommodating specifically with our 1.5 year old. This was a pleasant surprise as our previous visit to a 5 star in Seychelles (Mahe) was somewhat ruined by the unfriendly staff.

The rooms are bungalow style side by sides or quad 2 storey complexes. Ours was the smaller room, but still very accommodating and clean.

Walking south down the very nice beach, you will notes a parallel road where you will find shops to get any additional goods and even gelato.

Excursions to the surrounding islands are easily booked by walking south down the beach and striking a deal with the local guides.

Beach Front bungalows, perfect for divers, family

We stayed at Paradise Sun Hotel for a week in early June. Room was very nice, amazing showers. We have 2 small children so the staff moved us to a ground floor room on request and were very helpful throughout our stay. I had a low expectation for the food, but it actually offered a lot of variety. Drinks are on the expensive side. Beach is great for kids as the waves are small and water shallow. If you are a diver this is a great place as the diving company is located just off the hotel property. Would definitely recommend to all my friends.

Great Experience

We stayed at Paradise Sun for a week in November of 2015. We were treated well with friendly staff. The room was nice and close to the beach. It was very quiet and the service and staff were both very good. The food was good with some nights better than others. I cannot think of anything that would need to be changed in my opinion. We would definitely stay there again. Special thanks to the Hotel General Manager and Samantha. There was also a very friendly smiling younger gentleman in the dining area at night I don't recall his name but he made us feel welcome and comfortable.

Couldn't ask for anything more!

My wife and I stayed at Paradise Sun for a week long holiday. We serve with nonprofits in Uganda, and this holiday was just what we were looking for: a peaceful, picturesque, secluded holiday! The location is just awesome. Off the main island, not commercialized, and quiet. Every morning we stepped out of our ocean view room and walked 20 meters to our lounge chair on the beach. Just ridiculously awesome. We also enjoyed the stand up paddle boarding and kayaks!

The staff is truly great. They absolutely enhanced our time there. Jimmy was particularly great -- he even took us on a hike across the island! Trevor arranged bikes for us to rent to explore the island!

The food was delicious and plentiful!

If you want to pick up supplies for your stay, a supermarket is a 5 minute walk away!

Sunset cruise was great!

We recommend Paradise Sun to any and everyone! We hope to return one day! Thanks again Paradise Sun!

Excellent hotel! Rooms are close to everywhere!

I'm much more easygoing than my husband but this hotel stole his heart! Amazing and very friendly stuff. Rooms enough big and close to the beach and restaurants. Wifi everywhere, so makes easier be in touch with families back home.
snorkelling and caiques available all te time. Excursion were all amazing and great price. Definitely an amazing island, great hotel perfect location. We loved it.

Nice hotel with a lovely beach area

We really enjoyed our stay at Paradise Sun. Our whole family dives so the easy access to the Whitetip Diving Service was fabulous. The other ocean activities such as snorkelling, wave board riding etc, are all readily available so if you love the beach and the sea this is definitely the spot.

Our only down experience was the dining experience. Its a buffet every night and the staff go to a lot of trouble to provide a great variety for everyones taste. The food is fine. However, the dining area is incredibly hot and getting a seat near the \"windows\" become ones aim at dinner time. Sadly there are only a few of these. There should be some form of ventilation inside the dining area for those less fortunate who were unable to grab a seaside seat. Fans overhead of mounted on the beams inside may help to make dinner a little more enjoyable because eventually you just give up eating in an effort to get outside into some cool air.

The air conditioner in our room leaked a substantial amount of water whilst it was running. This was picked up when we got to our room initially but was never repaired. We used the hand towel to soak up the water at night. This soaked towel was left on the floor and when we came back from the beach later in the afternoon it was really smelly in the room from the wet towel that had not been removed. So we got another towel and took care of the problem ourselves alternating the towels every evening and hanging them out to dry and air during the day.

A REAL PARADISE !

We went to Paradise Sun for 4 nights and 5 days for our honeymoon !
The 1st room which was provided was not up to the standards we were looking for, after having complained with the management the Duty Manager Ms. Wendy was kind enough to fix everything for us !
They placed us in a renovated room the 2nd day morning ! With a honeymoon decoration and a plate of fruits alongside a 30 min massage to make it up to us for the 1st night !
They made sure we are satisfied for the rest of the stay !

Paradise by name...

...and by nature. With its fantastic beach location, superb facilities and attentive staff it's a little hard to be completely objective about Praslin's premier hotel, The Paradise Sun. OK, perhaps the room could have done with a lick of paint and one or two of the bathroom fixtures have seen better days but this is nit-picking in the extreme. Worthy of particular mention is the food which was well-presented, varied and most importantly, consistently delicious! Rest assured, a great stay awaits you.

I want to stay this hotel again:) The beach was very beautiful, morning and dinner buffet were good, and I love this hotel's atmosphere!! Everyday when I got up, lots of birds ware singing, and I could hear nice sound of a wave. It was my DREAM STAY!! Hopefully, I wanted to see the beach little bit wider from my room.

Le personnel de l’hôtel est très serviable, petite mention spéciale à John qui est le « « « « rayon de soleil de l’établissement », merci à lui pour son professionnalisme et sa bonne humeur! Nous avons passé un bon séjour, l’hôtel donne un accès direct à la plage, c’est très pratique surtout lorsque l’on a des enfants. Cependant, attention lorsque vous vous vous baignez il faut mettre des chaussures puisque qu’il y a des raies rouges qui peuvent vous piquer si vous marchez dessus (elles sont cachés sous le sable). Le petit déjeuner est très bon, cependant le buffet du soir est bas de gamme, si nous avions su nous n’aurions pris la demi pension.

Nous avons passé 3 magnifiques nuits dans cet hôtel qui regroupait tout ce que nous recherchions : une chambre spacieuse, propre, un agréable balcon avec vue océan. Le personnel était très serviable. L’emplacement (spot parfait pour observer le coucher du soleil) et les parties communes de l’hôtel sont supers !
Nous nous sommes régalés au buffet.
Nous recommandons cet hôtel dans lequel nous aurions pu rester plus de nuits encore !

Camere buone, piscina modesta, ma siamo al mare. Reception fredda, ma così molti hotel di Praslin, anche più blasonati. Servizio al ristorante da dilettanti: tovaglia sporca? Sedetevi ad un altro tavolo... settimana con forte marea, spiaggia molto ritirata. Buffet molto ricco ma di qualità media. John responsabile delle attività molto simpatico. Complessivamente troppo caro per il livello

Honeymoon im Paradise

Das Hotel habe ich für unsere Hochzeitsreise ausgesucht und wurde keineswegs enttäuscht.
Der Empfang bei der Anreise war sehr herzlich, das Zimmer (1. Stock, #41) war vorbereitet und
ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Anlage selbst ist gut in Schuss, die Lage an dem wunderbaren Strand einfach traumhaft. Ich hatte Halbpension gebucht, jeden Abend gab es ein anderes Thema und wir
waren von der Qualität der Küche sehr angetan. Zu meinem Honeymoon Dinner und meinem Geburtstag hat sich die Küche nochmal selbst übertroffen. Alkoholische Getränke sind auf Praslin
allgemein nicht gerade billig, im Hotel zahlt man für 1/2 Liter Bier vom Fass rund 9 EUR, Flaschenbier ist etwas günstiger, die Flasche Wein zum Abendessen geht so bei 25 EUR los.
Wir haben einen Ausflug zum Valle de Mai gemacht (Coco der mere) und hatten dort eine sehr gute Führung, organisiert durch die im Hotel ansässige Agentur Mason, kann ich sehr empfehlen.
Eine weitere Tour zur Schildkröteninsel haben wir am Strand gebucht. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen,
bitte nur bei etablierten Veranstaltern im Hotel buchen. Die Insel Couriose ist schön, aber eben nicht \"flach\" und man braucht gutes Schuhwerk für die felsigen Wege. Die Wanderung dort stufe ich ein als \"anspruchsvoll\" für Ungeübte.Sehenswert ist die Insel schon, wir konnten Riesenschildkröten beim Liebesspiel beobachten...
Im nächsten Jahr kommen wir wieder für 10 Tage ins Paradise Sun!

El hotel hace honor a su nombre, es un paraiso!

Nuestra estancia en el hotel fue maravillosa. El hotel es espectacular, ubicado en una de las mejoras playas de la isla, Anse Volbert.
El hotel está muy limpio y bien cuidado, en un entorno maravilloso rodeado de palmeras, en la misma playa, con una zona de hamacas espléndida, las habitaciones son espaciosas y están distribuidas en bungalows que se integran perfectamente en el paisaje. El restaurante está sobre la misma playa, con unas vistas preciosas. El desayuno es muy completo e incluso la piscina está bien, aunque no muy grande.
El hotel tiene 80 habitaciones y aunque estaba completo nunca tienes esa sensación, pues encuentras mesa para desayunar o cenar sin problemas, hamacas en la playa o excursiones disponibles.
El personal del hotel es muy atento, amable y dispuesto a ayudar en todo momento. El último día debíamos dejar la habitación a las 10h y nuestro vuelo salía a las 21h por lo que nos dejaron una habitación de cortesía durante 1 hora para ducharnos.
Jimmy es la persona encargada de organizar actividades, es muy agradable y nos organizó la excursión a medida que estábamos buscando.
Joyce en recepción nos ofreció mucha información turística y nos facilitó algunas reservas. Muy eficiente.
Lo único a mejorar podría ser la wifi que funcionaba regular y la calidad del buffet de la cena, que aunque el tema variaba cada día (italiano, asiático, criollo, seafood) podría ser un poco mejor.
En resumen, nos sentimos como en el paraíso, una estancia inolvidable!

En raison de sa situation privilégiée je me suis rendu plusieurs fois dans cet hôtel durant ces 15 dernières années mais je n'y retournerai plus. J'ai trouvé le personnel pas aimable et pas impliqué. Le concept de la demi-pension avec buffet à volonté mais de mauvaise qualité nous a amené à prendre nos repas à l'extérieur à partir du troisième jour.

Buon albergo con spiaggia privata.

Camere spaziose tutte con vista mare. Colazione e cena a buffet internazionale ben variata,a volte a tema.(italiana,giapponese ecc.).Personale disponibile. Purtroppo all'inizio del mio periodo di permanenza alcune mareggiate hanno contribuito a formare molte alghe nel mare antistante l'albergo.Mare caldissimo,proprio un ...brodo caldo..
Per nuotare meglio su isola Couriose o delle Tartarughe ( davanti alla Doctor House )
In compenso gite ad Anse Lazio ed Anse Georgette ( con possibilità di recarvisi in autobus e un po' di passeggiata a 5 rupie ,30 centesimi di euro ) bellissime ! Stessa cosa per La Digue con gita poi in bici.
Consiglio di chiedere i servizi delle barche alle varie agenzie lungo la spiaggia,meno care dell' albergo.
Poco corretta l'Agenzia King Creole che non è stata chiara nella trattativa.
Posto che consiglio davvero a tutti.

Superbe hôtel, bien situé en bord de l'océan

Magnifique hôtel, la restauration y est sans reproche, tous les jours un thème différent et un chef cuisinier à la hauteur des étoiles de l'hôtel.

L'hôtel est très bien situé en bord de mer, toutes les chambres ont vues sur l'océan.
On vous prête gracieusement les palmes, le masque et il y a aussi des kayaks et des planches.
Un centre de plongée existe aussi vous avez si l'envie de faire votre baptême.

Le goûter est tous les jours offert par l'hôtel. Le Directeur est à l'écoute de ses clients.

Merci à Jimmy pour les animations et la soirée créole !

En stor besvikelse, lurad av bilderna

Vi hade bokat detta hotell för en vecka då vi tyckte det såg bra ut på bilderna och även hade fått ganska många positiva omdömen. Men vilken besvikelse! Stället är nedgånget och slitet och liknar mest en campingplats. Stranden består av pålar i flera rader eftersom vattnet slår ända upp vilket gör det omöjligt att bada. Restaurangen, med taffligt ommålade möbler som står lite snett o vint direkt i sanden, ligger nere vid vattnet och har en obehaglig lukt av ruttet trä och dy. Maten är därefter.
Rummet var fräscht men MYCKET litet. Enda ingången till rummet var genom altandörren, inga fönster i övrigt. Inga gardiner gjorde att du måste stänga jalusidörrarna när du är på rummet om du inte vill ha full insyn (och då menar vi FULL insyn). Eftersom det bara är ca en halvmeter mellan sängen och altandörren går det inte att röra sig och rummet känns som en skokartong.
Vi kände att hela vår semestervecka skulle bli förstörd om vi stannade här så vi valde att lämna hotellet efter en natt. Vi bokade i stället femstjärniga Lemuria några kilometer därifrån - för ungefär samma pengar!
Problemet med detta hotell är att bilderna är helt missvisande och man ger sig ut för att vara fyrstjärnigt. Och tar betalt som om man var det! För de pengarna kan du bo betydligt bättre på annat ställe!

Hervorragender Service, sehr freundliches Personal, wunderschöne Location, sehr schöne einstöckige Häuser, die sich dezent in die wunderschöne Umgebung einfügen.
Abends im Beachrestaurant vielfältige Auswahl am liebevoll arrangierten Buffet. Frühstück in Ordnung. Zimmerservice täglich sehr nett
gemacht:)
Es ist nie überfüllt, immer Liegen frei, täglich Strandhandtücher.
Ausflüge vor Ort gut organisiert.

In ausgezeichneter Lage befinden sich leider neben dem Hotel Bars, die die nächtliche Ruhe an Wochenenden stark beeinträchtigen. Vor 4 Uhr morgens tritt keine ruhe ein. Daraufhin wechselten wir das Zimmer nach zwei Nächten ohne schlaf. Der Service ist zwar zufriedenstellend, jedoch hatten die Angestellten bei 80 Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze wenig Motivation für ihre Arbeit. Der Anteil an einheimischen Mitarbeitern war niedrig, die typisch kreolischen Akzente des Landes fehlten. Die Fluktuationsrate beim Personal ist hoch, die Bezahlung der Mitarbeiter ist im Landesvergleich schlecht. Die Trinkgeldregelung wurde nicht transparent kommuniziert. Wir werden diese anlage nicht wieder besuchen.

Bestes Hotel von Praslin

Meiner Meinung nach das beste Hotel von Praslin. Service wie in einem 5 Sterne Hotel aber total gelassene lockere Atmosphäre. Abendessen im Beachrestaurant mit Sandboden ohne Schuhe... Was will man mehr. Abendessen in Buffetform und das leckerste der ganzen Seychellenreise! Würde beim nächsten Praslin Aufenthalt wieder dieses Hotel buchen.

Ottima posizione e bella struttura, ben radicata nel territorio.
Pulizia delle camere molto buona.
Ristorante vario e di buona qualità.
Unica pecca il servizio reception non alla altezza.
Siamo stati all'hotel per il nostro viaggio di nozze e malgrado avessimo informato la struttura sia al momento della prenotazione via mail che all'arrivo, non abbiamo ricevuto alcuna particolare attenzione. Molto strano per strutture del genere in una location famosa specialmente per i viaggi di nozze.
