This hotel is right by the beach, although we stayed at an Amex building across the road. Rooms seem to have been updated with modern tiles. Breakfast was ample with fast service for a la carte items. I especially liked the staff, their attentiveness and engagement with the guests. Location was excellent with several nice restaurants within walking distance.
For a medium budget hotel, I would recommend it.

It’s a small, cute resort right on the beach. We stayed across the street in one of the guest rooms but it was still quiet and quaint. Our first night for dinner the service was slow, but afar from that the staff was friendly and personable as our stay continued. The receptionist was very efficient with providing us with any services we requested.

A great stay

Location was great. Hotel was overbooked so we had 1 night in a room that was not the sea view we had paid for. Service recovery was exemplary. We had a suite for the remaining 2 nights and dinner for 3 nights! Service was great... a shoutout to Mr Pai the manager who attended to our every need!!

Best Beach/Hotel Combination in Seychelles

There are NO ocean front rooms at this hotel. There are no rooms that match the photos of this property. Were told that due to vegetation growth, rooms have only a partial ocean view. Very disappointing, but room was very comfortable, attractively furnished, with a lovely balcony facing the ocean that we could not see. Overall, hotel is very attractive, and is in an enviable position on the Côte D'Or. Right on the sand of an amazing beach: long and wide, with white sand the texture of flour, islands off the coast, and a great place to chill for the entire day. Hotel offers chaises, umbrellas, beach towels. Staff goes out of their way to be helpful. Breakfast is included: fresh fruit, eggs cooked to order, and all other breakfast items. Can have dinner in romantic garden/beach setting. We spent 10 days in Seychelles, and this was my favorite beach/hotel combination. We plan to return and stay here.

good hotel

A good hotel. When we stayed it felt a bit \"tired\", but as soon as we checked out the whole hotel was under renovation - change of furniture in all the rooms etc. Great location right on the beach, has its' own nice restaurant that serves great food, close to small supermarkets, different restaurants (even when inside other hotels), dive shop, only 15 min away from the jetty. All together we enjoyed our stay.

Very smelly room with old furniture not looked after. Staff always unhappy and careless. Waiting for table service at the breakfast take ages. Food bad quality and limited choice. The only nice people were the reception staff and cleaner. Not recommend although the location is very good.

Everything is wrong in this 2 star hotel

I was in standard room. Room is in complex across the street from hotel. Room was big but smelled like mold . Without any insect nets . At First night some 10cm flying cockroach flew inside room and lived with us 6 days behind furniture. Some lizards visit us inside too. Furniture is old, bathroom older, you have to get use to loud sound from some engine in roof. Some watter pressure engine. Main complex is creole original but everything should be remodeled 5 years ago.
Breakfast is local \"continental\" on table without freezer or Ice below. Everything is on 28 degrees air from 8.30 covered only against flies. If you will come later tables are not complete with napkins, cutlery. Birds are walking on tables . Personal is smiley but slow . Our state hygiene would close place like this. But you are in Seycheless. Even egs are placed and sold out of frig in grocery in 30 degrees . Beach is beatifull but without regular sand. It is some powder which make in water mud. Sea Water is shallow for 100 metres but muddy and so warm that you can stay there whole day. There is fresh cold watter shower on three. Perfect. Beach is not so much for snorkeling but you can find raja on sand on left side of beach across itally restaurant. Generaly look out to dark spots not to put foot on her. If you really want to see fishes you have to swimm to left side of island across from beach.

Decent Place, Good location Needs better breakfast

So we stayed a total of 3 nights at the hotel. It was decent however the service could be much better. The waitresses are not very proactive and you have to prompt them to clear the table and ask for tea or coffee. The breakfast was rather mediocre. Not much choice and the fruit selection is not the best. Wasn't very fresh on one of the days. The wifi only works in the reception area. The room is rather small and doesn't have much space to store your bags & such. However it is clean and comfortable. The bathroom is nice and the room has a fantastic view of the ocean.

Attractive well designed hotel right on the beach.

First time in the Seychelles, this hotel lived well up to expectations. We had a lovely view from our room balcony over the Indian Ocean (well the foliage had grown up a bit too much for a perfect view actually, but it did not detract from the peace and quiet. The adjacent room's balcony also overlooked ours, but did not prove a problem). No pool, but the beach was literally on the doorstep.

The Cote d'Or village was also a delight, with plenty of facilities (Cash Plus exchange, ATM (only into rupees), mini markets in which the beer and water was much cheaper, and of course restaurants). On the final couple of days we hired a car (E50 per day) and explored the whole island, but concluded we had landed in the right place. Buses are very cheap but vary in reliability.

Trips across to La Curieuse island, where the giant tortoises are located and where an excellent barbecue is provided for lunch and with snorkeling in the afternoon, all for E65, is well worth doing, but beware the beach-boys' tricks. In addition you have to pay SCR 200 for the landing tax, and if there are two of you you are likely to hand over a SCR500 note. Instantly there is a change of subject in the conversation and the SCR100 change does not materialise. They will acknowledge the debt if challenged, but are adept at making up excuses for not having it on them. Get the boy's name early when relations are good, and then later take a photo of him and threaten to go to the police. It works wonders!

The hotel was good but there were terrible sand flies on the beach next to hotel. It is needs disinfection. Be carefully. We had serious problem with bites.

Best hotel in Praslin

We visited Village De Pucher for a week of our honeymoon trip. It was great choise - room with ocean view. It was on the first floor with terrasa on front of the beach. Near the hotel where are shops and restaurant - best location. Hotel staff are very helpfull and friendly! Also we were at Mahe and La Digue - we liked Praslin and Village Du Pucher the most.

Very nice small hotel with friendly staff.

We visit this hotel for a week of our honeymoon trip. This hotel was perfect choise - the best of Praslin. We had room with ocean view on the first floor with beautiful terrasa. Sometimes we were alone on the beach. Near the hotel where are shops, restaurants and souvenirs.

We stayed for six nights with the half-board option and would happily stay here again.

The hotel is just on the beach, with easy walking access to everything there is to see and do in Anse Volbert. The hotel staff were very friendly and helped us out with everything from booking a car, to recommendations, to organizing our transport to the ferry.

The rooms were clean and large, with lots of space for everything we needed.

Breakfast was good, with a variety of fruit and other food, and the kitchen would make various egg dishes. Every dinner consisted of a four-course menu, where you could also choose between two different main courses and appetizers. On New Year's Eve they had a particularly tasty buffet, too.

The hotel also has a shaded outdoors area with sun beds, where you can lounge on the beach. The hotel's property is lined with palms and greenery, which means the beachfront part of the hotel feels fairly private.

We hope to be back again another time!

Sehr gute Lage. Barfuß-Restaurant direkt am Strand. Sehr freundliches Personal.
Wir hatten keine Halbpension und haben a la Carte im Hotel gegessen. Wir mussten leider sehr lange auf das Essen warten. Das Essen war sehr gut. Auch gute Lage an einem schönen Strand. Drum herum gibt es genügend Einkehrmöglichkeiten und eine tolle Bar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Charles sorgt für Sicherheit und hat uns als Ansprechpartner immer weiterhelfen können.

A magnificent place

This hotel has an absolutely wonderful location - right on the beach at Cote D'or on Praslin. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the beach is simply magnificent. In addition, Anse Lazio, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world is located just a few kilometers to the west and a few kilometers to the south you have a very nice natural park with the impressive palms Coco De Mer, which are endemic to the Seychelles. Moreover day tours to the nearby islands Curieuse with giant tortoises and La Digue with spectacular stone formations are easily organized at the hotel. The hotel has a very nice outdoor restaurant where nice dishes are served. There are plenty of other restaurants within walking distance.
We had a wonderful stay and can only give Village du Pecheur our best recommendations.

Ett anrikt hotell som förfaller. Trasiga parasoll, eftersatt underhåll och känslan är att det kunde varit så mkt bättre och att ägaren lämnat skeppet och satsar på annat. Servicen är dock utmärkt och läget utomordentligt. Du kan faktiskt äta middag på stranden. Frukost så där, mat så där. Tänk på att om du bokar standardrum hamnar du i en annan byggnad. Inte så dåligt, men bra att veta. Hoppas hotellet kan få ny ägare och blomstra upp till de nivåer du kan ana att det hade på 1960-talet.

La camera standard da noi scelta, già dalle prime ore si allaga di acqua proveniente dal soffitto del bagno.Provano a minimizzare poi quando si rendono conto che era allagata ci dicono di essere a conoscenza del problema e decidono di darci un upgrade nella suite. Peccato che quest’ultima era infestata di termiti, scolopendra morta, gechi che lasciavano escrementi sul muro e cosa peggiore anche il letto infestato di animali. Essendo accaduto tutto ciò di sera ho dovuto personalmente rifare il letto con un telo di fortuna che ho richiesto al guardiano anche un po’ scocciato! Le scuse dell’albergo si sono concluse con una bottiglia di “champagne “ (chiamarlo tale è inappropriato) e dicendo che ci avevano comunque dato un upgrade! Vecchio, sporco, obsoleto lasciate perdere!

L’hôtel est tres bien situé avec un bel espace commun de restauration et de plage à la décoration soignée. Les chambres ont les équipements nécessaires néanmoins le fait d’avoir des chambres dans un bâtiment de l’aute côté de la rue enlève tout le charme de l’hôtel Car nous avons l’impression de dormir chez les voisins et d’avoir juste le droit de venir petit déjeuner. Nous ne pouvons pas profiter du cadre pour lequel on avait choisi cet hôtel.

Hôtel à l'emplacement exceptionnel sur la plage de Côte d'Or, au milieu du bourg. La vue est sublime ! Attention: vous pouvez être logés dans l'annexe de l'autre côté de la route. Chambre très propre, grande salle de bains et balcon aménagé avec table et 2 fauteuils. Personnel agréable, professionnel et efficace. Check in et check out très rapides. Dîners et déjeuners pieds dans le sable avec une nourriture satisfaisante. Un bémol: le petit dejeuner. A part les fruits frais et la possibilité d'avoir une omelette, très peu de choix et qualité très moyenne. Dommage mais cela ne gâche en rien le plaisir du séjour!

In die Jahre gekommenes Hotel in super Lage

Die super Lage wird allerdings durch die etwas schmuddelige und düstere Einrichtung im muffeligen Zimmer übertroffen. Leider sind die Angestellten bis auf die Herren sehr unfreundlich und sehr langsam. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr spartanisch und bietet keinerlei Abwechslung in 14 Tagen.

Mysigt hotell direkt på stranden

Mycket läckert hotell. Fint rum med terrass ut mot havet. Restaurangen är öppen, högt i tak och med utsikt mot havet. Du kan sitta med fötterna i sanden och äta. Fantastiskt fin. Maten var jättegod. Vi var mycket nöjda med vår vistelse där. Det enda som inte var helt perfekt var att det luktade konstigt i garderoben i ett utrymme vid hallen. Vi hängde inte in något där utan höll dörren stängd. Det var fint med solstolar och parasoller på stranden utanför rummet. Jag rekommenderar gärna detta hotell.

Nettes Hotel in bester Lage an der Côte d'Or.

Wir waren 5 Nächte hier (inkl. Frühstück). Die Zimmer sind groß und geräumig, das Frühstück sehr gut. Das Personal im Restaurant ist manchmal etwas langsam. Das Highlight ist der Strand, welcher direkt an die Anlage grenzt.

Negativ zu bewerten ist allerdings, dass auf alle Preise im Restaurant noch ca 25% Aufschlag kommen (VAT und Service Charge). Die französische Rezeptionistin am Abend ist leider ausgesprochen inkompetent und konnte wirklich keine unserer Fragen beantworten. Bspw. Auf die Frage wann Fähren nach La Digue verkehren, kam die Aussage das die immer wieder fahren aber sie leider keinen Abfahrtplan hat. Ihre Kollegin zeigte dann auf den Timetable direkt auf ihrem Schreibtisch. Mehr als peinlich! Sie war auch nicht in der Lage eine Restaurantreservierung per Telefon durchführen. unfassbar! Internet ist nur in der Lobby und teilweise im Restaurant verfügbar, Geschwindigkeit mangelhaft.

Perfect location just at the beach and a great place for swimming and taking a boat to the Curieuse Island. Nice rooms and hotel, and in a good standard. Nice place with the most beautiful view and sunrise over the sea. Nice welcome by Melissa at the reception with welcome drinks and introduction to the hotel and the area, nice breakfast and nice dinner just at the beach in the moonlight. Very nice and helpful staff all over except in the reception which was controlled by Angie (non-african receptionist) if you don’t speaks France she is the worst version on an unpleasant and rude person you can imagine, she was very impolite when we asked her to make an taxi reservation to the airport next morning, we asked her when we need to leave to catch our flight, and she told us it was up to us and she just pulled on her shoulder and asked us several times “when do you want it”, finally she ordered the taxi but 30 min later than we asked her to do. Later the evening, and after the dinner, we would like to pay for our entire stay, to be ready for our early departure next morning, but Angie told us in a very rude way and in French that it was impossible and too late and that we have had the whole day to do that, when I talked to her she just turned around on her heels showing me her back and shook her head. Except Angie, which need to be replaced immediately if the management don’t want to spoil this nice place, we loved our stay and would like to go’ back to this wonderful place.

Frukost-det som stod framme kändes sunkigt och svettigt.
Jättebra läge, med bra allmänna ytor. Fler restauranger att välja på i området om man jämför med andra områden i Praislin. Bra strand och det ingick handdukar och solstolar.
Professionellt mottagande vid ankomst.
För högt pris för vad man fick - ej prisvärt. Helhetsintrycket hade varit bättre om man inte hade betalat så mycket då ett högt pris sätter en högre förväntning. På sätt och vis avslappnande att vara utan wi-fi på rummet, men samtidigt väldigt omodernt och jobbigt att behöva gå ner till hotellets allmänna utrymmen.

Albergo sul mare decisamente carino

L'albergo si trova sulla spiaggia della cot d'or con ombrelloni e lettini a disposizione della clientela.
E' possibile mangiare con i piedi nella sabbia, molto originale ed apprezzabile. L'arredamento delle camere un po' chic ma simpatico. letto a baldacchino e mobilia in stile. I confort ci sono tutti dalla TV un po datata, ma non siamo qui per la televisione, frigo bar, aria condizionata.
La wifi solo nella reception/sala da pranzo.
La spiaggia, bellissima e lunghissima, per passeggiate memorabili, da qui i ragazzi partono per le escursioni sulle isole vicine.
La clientela un po' attempata, ma cordiale e festosa.
Una piacevole alternativa alle guest houses

Belle emplacement, service a revoir

Nous sommes restés 5 jours dans cet hotel sympa situé à la bordure d'une très belle plage. Restaurant assez agréable avec service possible sur la plage. Le petit déjeuné est convenable mais sans plus. Hotel bien positionné avec un centre de plongé super à 10 mètres de là et different petit restaurants très agréable à proximité. Seul point négatif est le service qui manque de professionnalisme et d'amabilité. Dommage!

La struttura è molto bella e in una posizione meravigliosa, con la spiaggia a pochi passi. il personale non è cordiale, ma quasi infastidito dalla presenza degli ospiti, la colazione molto limitata e la pulizia lascia a desiderare. La hall chiude troppo presto la sera, in pratica alle 22.00 al massimo ti fanno chiaramente capire che devi andare a dormire.

Sehr schönes Hotel am Strand der Cote d'Or

Wir waren positiv überrascht, die Zimmer waren sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, hatten ein riesiges Bad und einen sehr schönen Balkon. Die Lobby und Restaurant machen den selben Eindruck und lassen richtig Urlaubsstimmung aufkommen. Man sieht von überall das Meer, mit ein paar Bäumen davor, auch vom Balkon. Andererseits sieht man vom Strand aus nicht direkt das Hotel. Der Strand ist generell nicht so zugebaut, es liegen ein paar Fischer und Tourenboote vor dem Hotel. Nichtsdestotrotz kann man gut Baden. Restaurants und Supermärkte gibt es in Minutenlaufweite. Curieuse ist mit den Tourenbooten praktisch vor der Haustür. Frühstück war sehr gut für unsere Gewohnheiten. Abendessen war uns etwas zu teuer, weshalb wir immer woanders aßen.
Fazit: Ein sehr schönes kleines Hotel zum entspannen und runterkommen. Ganz klare Empfehlung!

Accueil et emplacement parfaits - Hôtel vieillot

On est resté deux nuits dans cet hôtel dans une chambre standard, donc elle ne donne pas sur la plage. L'accueil et l'emplacement de l’hôtel sont géniales. Plusieurs restaurants et supérettes à coté. La plage est juste magnifique et énorme!
Le personnel est très aimable. Le check out est à 10h, on est resté jusqu'à 16h. Le petit déj n'est pas très varié mais vraiment bon.
La chambre est propre mais vraiment à rafraichir! les meubles sont très vieux, ça sent un peu l'humidité. Pas de rideaux dans la salle de bain. heureusement le matelas était confortable. Je m'attendais à mieux pour 200 euros la nuit

Passage agréable au village du pêcheur, bien localisé sur l'île de praslin. Personnel très sympathique. Rapport qualité / prix pas génial (près de 200 euros la nuit pour les chambres les moins chères, dans un hôtel qui n'a pas de piscine et dont la climatisation dans la chambre est bruyante.

Buon albergo in ottima posizione sul mare

Camera spaziosissima e pulita, bastava attraversare la strada per essere sul mare (a disposizione sdraie e teli mare).
Buono anche il servizio ristorante (con tavoli praticamente sulla spiaggia). La colazione forse potrebbe essere migliorata, ma tutto sommato c'era sempre sia salato che dolce.
Lo consiglio vivamente!

Un hôtel de rêve sur la magnifique plage Côte d'Or

Nous avions réservé 4 nuits dans les chambres Ocean View. Elles sont tout simplement extraordinaires : elles donnent sur le petit jardin bordant la plage, quelques paillottes et des lits bain de soleil nous attendent. Les serviettes de plage sont fournies et changées tous les jours. Le petit déjeuner est savoureux et la demi-pension le soir avec entrée, soupe, plat, dessert est copieuse, variée et aux saveurs locales. Le restaurant est pieds dans le sable, très sympa. Le personnel est extrêmement accueillant et souriant, à votre disposition pour réserver une voiture si besoin. Le seul \"mais\" a été notre début de séjour où nous avons été relogé pensant 2 nuits au Berjaia suite à un problème d'entretien dans des chambres. Mais cet hôtel voisin est beurk beurk beurk (autant les chambres que le petit déj). En compensation la demi pension nous a été offerte pendant tous notre séjour avec accès complet à tout l'hôtel.

Hôtel idéal

Petit hôtel de charme qui se compose en 2parties: une partie des chambres donne sur la plage tandis que lautre est situé de l'autre côté de la rue. Style tres surchargé mais les chambres restent agreables! Sur la plage il y a des transats et serviettes de plage prêtées par l'hôtel gratuitement! L'hôtel est situé dans la rue plus commerçante c'est le seul endroit où vous pourrez trouver a vous restaurer dans d'autres etablissements meme si l'offre à praslin est réduit! La situation de l'hôtel permet aussi de prendre facilement le bus de ville pour se rendre aux lieux touristiques de l'île et daller facilement sur les autres îles alentours. A recommander

Ubicazione strategica, struttura curata

Il villaggio é raccolto e curato. Le camere hanno un arredamento d'epoca, sono pulite e si affacciano sulla spiaggia (unico neo: scarichi di doccia e lavabi un po' lenti, nella nostra camera).
Il personale é molto gentile, grande valore aggiunto é il Sig. Armphy, che parla italiano ed é molto disponibile ed attento nel fornire tutti i consigli per un piacevole soggiorno a Praslin.
Il ristorante é buono e con una bella atmosfera, prezzo equo rispetto agli altri dell'isola.
Il villaggio si affaccia su una bella spiaggia che resiste bene all'escursuone delle maree e la posizione é centrale per visitare Anse Lazio ed Anse Georgette (le più belle), rimanendo vicini al paesino commerciale.
Lo consiglio vivamente.

Charmant und Authentisch

Ein sehr authentisches, charmantes Hotel, in den 60er gebaut und sehr gut unterhalten. Das Frühstück ist sehr mikrig mit billiger Auswahl - man sollte also keine zu grossen Erwartungen haben. Die Klimaanlage in den Zimmern ist leider zu schwach, weshalb man diese dann immer auf vollgas laufen lässt. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand mit genug Platz für ein paar Liegen auch bei Flut - das können nicht alle Hotels an dieser Beach bieten! Leider wird man an diesem Beach alle 10 Minuten angesprochen ob man einen Ausflug buchen möchte oder eine Kokosnuss haben möchte.

C’est sans aucun doute le meilleur hôtel de côte d’or!
directement sur la plage.
pour les bateaux, voir avec Qantin sur la plage et négocier à 50%...
Il n’y a plus de \"sea view\", sauf pour la suite présidentielle. ...
N’hésitez pas à dîner ailleur.

Personale professionale e disponibile. Hotel pulito e curato direttamente su una delle più belle spiagge di Praslin. Mobili un po vintage. Prezzo ristorante \"a la carte\" alto rispetto rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Nettes Hotel direkt am Strand

Es war ein sehr nettes Hotel direkt an der Côte d'or. Unserer Meinung nach am schönsten Strandabschnitt. Sonnenliegen unter Palmen waren ausreichend verfügbar und in ordentlichen Zustand.
Die Angestellten waren sehr nett und haben uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Man fühlte sich familiär aufgenommen.
Wir hatten nur Frühstück gebucht. Es gibt sehr viele verschiedene Restaurant in der Straße bei denen man sehr gut Mittags und Abends essen konnte. Ansonsten drei Supermärkte und Souvenirshops.

Hotel très sympa. Le Manager sait prendre soin de ses hôtes.

Fantastisk hotell

Hotellet ble valgt etter anbefalinger på Tripadvisor og Hotels.com
Svært fornøyd med hotelloppholdet. Service var ekstraordinært bra i alle ledd. Eksempel: Sjekket ut innen fristen kl 10:00. Flyet gikk ikke før midnatt. Hotellet tilbyr muligheter til lagring av bagasje (selvfølgelig), men også at vi kunne komme tilbake på ettermiddag/kveld for å skifte, ta en dusj osv. Fikk også gratis låne strandhåndklær for tiden etter vi sjekket ut. Hotellet var behjelpelig med bestilling av leiebil, dagsutflukter, anbefalinger på restauranter m.m. Alltid tilstede, hyggelige og imøtekommende.
Rommet var stort og rent. Personlig synes jeg madrassen i senga var for hard, men ellers ingen ting å utsette i forhold til komfort. Flott uteterasse ved rommet med gode utemøbler met puter m.m.
Wifi gratis, men kun i hovedbygget/resepsjon, ikke på rommet. Wifi tilgjengelig på stranda ved hotellet. Gratis badehånklær, solstoler.
God beliggenhet rett på stranda. Nærbutikk i området.

Trevligt lite enklare hotell

Tyvärr mycket sjögräs på stranden just när vi var där. Nära mycket bra restauranger. Boka utflykter via hotellet annars finns det risk att bli blåst. Mycket rar personal!
