i made a mistake and reserved a smoking room. When I checked in, no non-smoking rooms were available. I could not cancel without losing all my money. The room was Horrible, but that smell was my mistake. The conditions of the room were what you would expect for this price. Much in need of new carpet, painting, and updating. If you don't make a mistake reserving a smoking room, and just need a bed and bath for the night, it will do; as long as you don't set your expectations too high.

There were roaches! They made me pay in cash. I checked out early and they refused to refund me my money. It is next to a strip club so it doesn’t feel very safe. The room cleaner slammed on the door so loud I was woken up (i was working night shift). All of the staff was rude. The rooms look like they haven’t been updated in 30 years. I found hairs and dust all over. One of the staff walked into the room and even whipped there finger across some dust and said the room was clean. I have never been so disappointed with a service. They stole my money!!!!!!

Honestly the hotel was not clean staff were nice thoe but everything felt dirty and there was no yogurt or eggs only waffles, bagels and cearal which is fine but definitely unexpected I’ve never been to a hotel that doesn’t have thoes . Also the bed sheets had holes from previous smokers we did get a smoking room they didn’t clean the room before hand obviously because there was ashes and cigarett buts were still in the room behind the bed . I did check for bed bugs didn’t see any but there are black marks in the creases of the bed that kinda look like mold spots but I’m not exactly sure .

Housekeeping is doing a fair job, but Maintenance repairs are amateurishly done. Shower curtain bar, the bow-out kind, also bowed down, plastered into place. Plaster repairs generally are slapped on, with no concern for aesthetics.
One of our two rooms had a funky odor.

I wonder if management has changed at this hotel?
I asked about my friend's service dog and they told me there would be a fee. I thought this was illegal. There were also weight restrictions on the animal which is also wild.
The people next to me had a yappy dog that didn't shut up the entire weekend. My friend's service dog would not have made the first sound. I was pretty offended by this. My friend ended up not coming over the service dog issue which was upsetting because the trip was supposed to be a holiday gift for both of us as we recover from PTSD.
The wall of the jetted tub was kicked in, and for some reason the jet control was outside of the tub and across the room. There was absolutely no nonslip material for some reason, so I used all the towels on keeping the floor safe instead.
There was previously wet pink mystery crumbs stuck to the inside of the comforter. Daiquiri vomit perhaps?
The halls stunk of cigarettes and pot. There was no Continental breakfast. Just toast and bagels and an empty waffle batter dispenser at 8 am. I was disappointed because I smelled food cooking from my room. So when there wasn't any food, that I had paid for, that sucked pretty bad.
The ice machine was \"broken\".
I get it. It's a 2 star party hotel in a low traffic area. But like, we could at least wash the sheets in the $130/night room, right?
I have stayed in these hot tub rooms many times over many years. This is the first time I've ever had a complaint about the condition.

The room was dirty and poorly maintained. There was black mold on the ceiling, a shower that wouldn’t drain, and food embedded in the carpet. The room smelled musty and smoky, and both my wife and I woke up congested with respiratory irritation. Completely unacceptable cleanliness. Would not recommend.

It's a hotel I would NEVER recommend to anyone. Shower bar was about to fall off, the tub was filthy, carpet was also VERY filthy throughout the hotel, the TV barely had any channels. DON'T STAY HERE!

My fiance and I decided to visit family in Toledo. I chose the hotel for the location of his family. When we got into the room, the remote didn't work so the manager switched us to another room and we were satisfied. The food was hot and delicious. I would recommend staying at this location.

If you’re a parent, please read this review. We wanted a quick weekend getaway to Michigan and this seemed to be perfect with the proximity to the local pumpkin farms. However I quickly regretted the decision to book solely on price. The hotel room absolutely reeked of mold, smoke, and animal piss. I felt like I honestly let my kid down staying here. The bathroom was equally disgusting and was completely run down. The rooms look NOTHING like the photos whatsoever. You’re not a good area either. Spend the extra $100 and go to a nicer area trust me this is not worth it at all.

The lobby is very nice. We were on the first floor the smell was aweful. It smelled of stale cigarettes and curry. There was food crumbs all over the floor. The sheets were covered in black stains on them. The breakfast is not worth the stay. But hey if you like strip clubs their is one right across the street. My children were afraid to sleep in the bed because of how filthy it was. You could tell the last person in the room was eating noodles they were all over the floor. It gets even better someone put a penny in the toilet so my kids thought that was odd. Not a place I would ever stay again!

Not good. Pictures are very deceiving. Located in an area with industrial warehouses, sex shops, and a strip joint next door. Room was not cleaned well , it was obvious the room had been smoked in a there was a plastic bag tied over the smoke detector and the room smelled. AC unit didn't with well. Just needed a quick place to sleep and leave at 7am so it sufficed and there weren't any bugs. That's the best i can say.

OK, for the price, but barely.

I was visiting Toledo for a family funeral. When I checked, I was told there be a $50 hold placed on my debit card for incidentals. I told the clerk that was not posted on hotels.com, where I booked the room. He said it was indicated on they choice.com website. (I did not double check that.) If a property is going to charge an incidental hold, it should be listed in all online venues.

My room was fine, although there was an odd odor to it. I wondered if it had been a smoking room at one time. Everything was OK in the room, except for the lamp on the desk, which could not be plugged in as it had no cord!

A little dissapointing given the price point, but it was OK-Minus.

The bathtub was not clean and the drain was backed up. I requested housekeeping to come and clean the bathroom and maintenance to fix the drain in the tub. I was told two housekeepers called off. One had to pick up her child and there was noone available to clean the bathroom. I was given the cleaning solution, gloves, and a towel by the front desk staff.

The hotel had a higher fee for pets ($30) than that shown on Expedia ($20) and a sign in the lobby threatened over $200 in \"fines\" if someone was caught sneaking in a pet. Despite this, there was no dog-walk area, etc.

The room was dated and had a bad smell despite being a \"non-smoking\" room. The carpet had obviously not been cleaned recently, also. The AC was noisy and caused the curtains to open when it ran.

Easy check in. Got to room air conditioner did work. Called front desk they came up and got it to work. We left for dinner and came back and it was off again and by this time it was late. Called down again. He tried working in it and it quit again. He offered to move our room but the only availability was a smoking room. I have asthma but i tried staying in there anyways. By this time it was 2 am. Get to the new room and the tv didnt work and we didnt have a phone in our room to call down there. We finally gave up and said forget it and tried to get some sleep. Go down the next morning to eat n check out i told the guy at the desk about the issues and he just said ok and offered no apologies a discount or anything.

Not really sure where to start…we arrived later in the evening so, I ran in to check us in, drop our bags off and run to find dinner for my family and I. The night staff was very nice. When we finally arrived to the room, I Made a joke about it being a\"roach motel\" not knowing it would actually be a reality. When we woke up the next morning,we went down to breakfast, the man at the counter was rude about me asking for plates and cups. The waffles you get to make were delicious. But,when we got back to our room to pack up and leave, there were at least three decent sized cockroaches in the room we were sleeping in!

From the cigarette burns in the bedding to the rude staff and the creepy crawlies, I urge you, do your research. Even if it's just for a quick stay. 6.5 stars is too much for this place.

Management was very helpful when we brought issues to his attention. When we arrived there were individuals sitting in the parking lot between vehicles drinking and smoking. The room was a king size with a jetted tub. The air conditioner did not work, there was hair in the jets of the tub, and the toilet did not flush properly.

We asked for another room. The manager walked with us to the new room so we could review it together. The second room was better but still had hair in the tub. We did stay but were very cautious about where and what we did.

My stay was ok but I happened to leave my license at this hotel and asked if it was possible to mail to my address but I was asked can I come in and I explained that I do not live in Ohio and would not be able to retrieve from front desk. I was told ok as if they were going to do something or mail it to me and after 2 weeks they asked me to retrieve from front desk. Someone could have said way earlier than two weeks that they would not mail me my id, due to company procedures but I was not told that initially. I’ve made this mistake before and was sent my id but this small mistake has made my life very challenging, so I basically have to replace my id which will be more challenging due to my work schedule but had I knew it wasn’t possible to mail I could have made arrangements but I was told 3weeks after the fact that it’s not possible to mail. I wish I was informed of that sooner instead of waiting for mail that was never coming. Total inconvenience

The room was clean, bedding and towels very nice. The location was not ideal though. We booked late and did not know the area. The floor around the bathtub needed repairing. The Kleenex holder had rust spots.
No bottled water available. I was under the impression there were 2 free drinks available?
