Rooms disappointment after first impressions

We stayed for 2 nights as a family, in 2 rooms.
The entrance level, comprising of the hotel reception, restaurant and bar were modern and immaculate but our floor, floor 4, the rooms were a complete contrast to this. There were many big black stains on the carpet in both rooms. The bathrooms were not clean in both rooms.

Good service but disappointing room

The check in was nice and quick. The room that we got was outdated, and had a real \"closed\" smell in it. Additionaly, the walls and ceiling was full of hanging dust and corps of dead insects... We complained and received immediately a different room, also dated but a lot cleaner but with that same smell. We didn't want to open the window fearing of insects and mosquitoes.
Breakfast is nice, easy parking and good service.

We got a room with a broken sink. After reporting this to the staff, we were offered another room. Apparently they were aware about the broken sink in our first room... We got a voucher for 2 non-alcoholic drinks in the 'bar'.

Visited 2 nights for business rooms comfortable and clean but a bit out dated. There was an issue with the hot water pump on the second morning which meant no hot water although I understand this was fixed within 30 minutes of being reported but too late for me. Hotel is 10-15 minutes walk from Nunspreet Train station and town center . There is a good choice of restaurants in the town although note that many did not take credit/debit cards so cash is needed. Breakfast was as expected for this standard of hotel. Overall the hotel is good value.

Quick overnight stay on a business trip, but I wish I could have stayed longer, and it would have been nice to have my wife with me. The setting is very nice, and they have a pool and sauna which I wish I had time to use!

Staff was great. It's a very luxurious hotel which we found along the route of our bike path. The wifi requires an upgrade to do anything of value and for such an expensive hotel, this feels like a cheap tactic.

Not very modern - but perfectly reasonable as a business hotel.
Staff are very nice and accommodating.
Rooms are a bit on the tight side.
WiFi free but a bit slow.

A gem of a place

Wonderful location in a beautiful part of the Netherlands. Great for a get-away with walks in the beautiful forest a stones-throw away. Nice sauna, and heated swimming pool. The hotel is a short walk away from the town which has a variety of shops and boutiques. Also there is a railway station not far away and the hotel offers a pick up/drop off service on weekdays to the Railway station. You might want to avoid around New Year if you want peace and quiet as some of the locals set off firecrackers and loud fireworks at various times on the 31st December and 1st January in the adjacent woods, which makes the environment sound like it is in a shooting alley. Seriously this hotel is a gem - great staff,great food, and a very pleasant place for a break.

“Fletcher Hotel Nunspeet – slapen? Vergeet het maar.”

Bed, voor mij, zo hard als beton, eindelijk om middernacht in slaap…

om 02:00 wakker van een discussie op de gang. Deur open: politie en hotelmedewerker met excuses. Weer terug naar bed? Slapen?, vergeet het, niet veel later weer gebons: buurman gearresteerd, gefouilleerd, spullen ingepakt. Gratis live Flikken Nunspeet tot drie uur maar slapen, onmogelijk.

Het hotel zelf ademt vergane glorie: douchekop uit de jaren ’80, loslatend behang, versleten vloerbedekking, lakens met gaten en mysterieuze vlekken. Meer escape room dan hotelkamer.
Maar eerlijk is eerlijk: personeel was vriendelijk, zeker bij het restaurant, beleefd en behulpzaam behalve bij het uitchecken, daar geen simpele “hoe was uw nacht?”, alleen een vrolijk “fijne dag nog”.

Conclusie: netjes personeel, maar een nacht die ik liever vergeten was en ik ga ervan uit dat de politie niet élke nacht binnen valt.

Vriendelijk personeel, fijne service. Van binnen wel echt gedateerd en toe aan onderhoud, wel netjes schoon. Helaas stonk de badkamer wel nogal naar riool/oud zweet maar was in schone staat, ik vermoed dat het hotel hier geen weet van kon hebben. De bedden waren erg hard en voor mij onprettig.

De kamers, badkamer (barsten in het glazuur) en de algemene ruimtes mogen echt een update. Erg verouderd. Hetzelfde geldt voor het zwembad. De sauna is klein (en je moet anderhalf uur van tevoren bij de receptie aangeven dat ze ‘m voor je aanzetten). Personeel is supervriendelijk. Bed kraakt erg. En kamer 318 heeft uitzicht op het gebouw dat er vlak tegenover staat…

schönes ,ordentliches Hotel. Frontdesk sehr freundich und hilfsbereit.
Zimmer in gutem zustand , Badezimmer sauber. Pool sauber, schön warm. In der Dusche gab ein Shampo und Duschmittel.
Bedienung langsam Essen nicht so gut, wurde reklamiert und kam besser zurück.

Het is een oud gebouw. De gangen lijken wel op een cellencomplex. De deuren naar de gangen en kamers zijn niet met 1 hand te openen. Zo zwaar!
Er was s'avonds veel lawaai. Met luidsprekers.
De koelkast sloeg elk uur aan met behoorlijk veel lawaai. Jammer dus allemaal voor zoveel geld.

Een groot hotel in een prachtige omgeving. Vlakbij het centrum. Medewerkers zijn heel vriendelijk en servicegericht. De onderburen staken de ene sigaret na de andere op, waardoor het rook onze kamer binnenkwam. Probleem werd direct opgelost door een vriendelijke medewerker. Ze gingen af en toe een sigaret roken.
Het ontbijt was rijkelijk en erg lekker. Het zwembad was rustig en had heerlijk warm water.
De kamers zouden geluidsdicht zijn. Echter hoorden wij de telefoon van de buren naast ons en boven ons, en de tv van de overburen. Verder was het bed heel hard. De spiralen staken er bijna uit. Dit bij vertrek aangegeven. Achteraf hadden we een topmatras kunnen vragen. Jammer dat dit niet preventief wordt gebruikt.

Positief: de locatie en het heerlijke, verse, goed verzorgde ontbijtbuffet en de fijne regendouche. Maar verder is het geen 4 sterren waardig... Kamer gedateerd en vies (vlekken op tapijt, spinnewebben jn de kamer), onverzorgd (behang eraf, zichtbaar geplamuurde plekken op de wand, de doucheruimte was zo vies door langdurig gebruik (vieze voegen etc) dat ik er alleen op slippers heb gedoucht. Er lag trouwens ook een paracetamol op de grond in de kamer bij aankomst (gevaarlijk met kleine kinderen!). Geen mogelijkheid tot ventileren 's avonds want geen ramen met horren maar schuifdeuren. Je hebt een zitje buiten maar daar lag nog allemaal as op de grond van rokers en je zit recht tegenover en naast je (rokende!) buren dus geen privacy en je krijgt sigarettenrook in je kamer als de deur opengeschoven is. Verder werkten de TV en minibarkoelkast niet, dat is gerepareerd na melding bij de receptie maar daarna was de koelkast zó lawaaiig dat ik de stekker eruit wilde halen. Toen ik de draad even bewoog stopte het geluid al dus konden we slapen. Je hoort de buren naast en boven je, ook het doorspoelen van de toiletten.

bon accueil, chambre spacieuse et literie confortable , calme et proximité forêt. piscine agréable. personnel souriant dommage aucuns ne parle français à part un serveur du restaurant qui connait quelques mots. compréhension sans soucis en anglais. réservation restaurant obligatoire le soir et de très bon plats tarif correct. une seule chaine télé en français. la salle de bain sombre et ancienne et moquette chambre tachée. petit déjeuner excellent et varié que je conseille de réserver et payer au préalable sur expédia. à 15kms de walibi holland une bonne situation à un prix raisonnable. un bon séjour et une nuitée très appréciée de ma famille.

Een heel vriendelijk ontvangst,mooi en schoon hotel.
Echt hele fijne bedden goed matras en een heerlijk dekbed.
Kamer was super schoon, ontbijt goed van 8 tot 12 ook netjes geregeld alles werd netjes bijgevuld.
Personeel ook overal even vriendelijk zowel bij de receptie, als in het grand cafe , als in de ontbijtzaal.

Teleurgesteld, we gingen op de reviews af om hier eens een verblijf te boeken. We hadden kamernummer 126. Een muffe geur, vieze vloerbedekkingen en de kluis deed het niet. Vriendelijk personeel die in verlegenheid wordt gebracht door het achtergebleven onderhoud. Mooie omgeving maakt veel goed. Wij raden dit hotel niet aan.

De ligging van het hotel is mooi met voldoende parkeergelegenheid, wel miste ik zaken die belangrijk zijn voor fietsers (afsluitbaar fietshok met laadpunten). De kamers waren wel gedateerd, de foto's zijn dus niet zo betrouwbaar, we misten ook contactdozen bij het bed voor de telefoons. De badkamer m.b.t. douche in het bad is zeker aan een update toe. Gelukkig was het wel schoon. Het matras was ook aan vervanging toe, voldoende regelmatig de veren in mijn rug prikken. Ook was het restaurant in de avond gesloten, dit vond ik ook een groot gemis, tevens vindt ik de check-in tijd erg aan de late kant (17:00 uur). Ontbijt was prima verzorgd!

Geen airco op de kamer,is toch niet meer van deze tijd. En een ongezellig terras,wat stoelen en tafels neergezet en dat was het. Het ontbijt was veel te druk, te weinig plaatsen om te zitten. Voor de rest wel vriendelijk personeel.

Het was een heel mooi hotel met een prima service van alle medewerkers. Geweldig ontbijt! Ook de naleving van de maatregelen ivm Corona verliepen prima.

Hotel is located in a nice area in the woods and 10 min walk to center. Breakfast buffet was good. Bathroom clean. Beds a bit hard. Staff friendly.

Vriendelijke bediening.
Bedden leggen erg hard.
Een topper vragen voor dat je gaat slapen.
Stopcontact aan één kant van het bed.
Fietsenstalling bij drukke te klein.
