The location is great and the surroundings are beautiful. Staff is friendly and breakfast was excellent. But the hotel was quite underwhelming. Not the best beds, carpet unclean, towels had stains and holes, room not as quiet as expected, airco making noise, no fridge; it was all a bit worn down.

There are so many great aspects about the hotel; the location is very peaceful, the hotel is dog friendly, the staff are friendly, the breakfast layout is good, small things are done like jars with dog treats and sweets are set out. The one let down is the restaurant service it took one hour to serve a our mains dish (no starters), our two year old waited 20mins for soup from the childrens menu which was so hot it took 20minutes more to cool down enough for her to eat it. Outside of this it is a great place to stay.

For such a big resort, the facilities are too little. Swimming pool and sauna are too small to adjust so many guests. Just one restaurant is not enough and was already full before we checked in.

For the size of the hotel the swimming pool is really small. 4 kids and is full. Service was not very good. They have a nice terrace but they didn't put the cushions on the furniture so it was uncomfortable to sit there for long time. The people at the bar didn't know how to make coctels and took long time to bring food. They didn't advertise that they are renovating the main restaurant and everything has been moved to a conference room were nobody didn't know how to get there. Breakfast time was caos! People queuing for long time in the buffet and there was not enough food, not plates the coffee machine was in another conference room without enough cups! Very disappointed for a 4 stars hotel.

A very nice hotel and pleasant enough to have spent the night here. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Only small issues were that the bar closed a little too early in the evening of my stay and there really isn't anywhere else in the area to go for a nightcap as its quite a small town. My main issue was at breakfast due to the amount of flies buzzing around the open food. Never an appetising thing to witness.

Brief time at the hotel, but it was very clean, nice, and comfortable. Only complaint is that the tub and toilet had a separate room but the shower did not leaving little privacy.

Great hotel for a cycling holiday. Hotel provides cycles and a range of cycle routes to choose from which take you through forest, heathland and sand fields. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great restaurant which offers a range of dishes.

The first thing which is remarkable is the location of the hotel, amidst of the woods. It automatically gives a relaxed feel. The parking was to the right and initially I had no idea that one then uses the back entrance but it showed.
Welcoming was nice, registration quick. The room was large in size, really enjoyable and modern. It must have been updated a few years ago, although the bathroom is much older (thus had not bene updated). All needed was available and the bed was comfortable.
As Christmas is near, all was decorated wonderfully and the hotel has a good restaurant as well as a great bar (where one can eat as well). Breakfast was from standard to good. I would stay here again, when I need to be in the neighbourhood (though not many of business in the area and too far from the big cities).

Hadden een luxe kamer die heel ruim was met een afzonderlijke WC. Alles was kraaknet. Wat wel verassend was is dat men steeds via de GSM per dag moet aangeven of men de kamer wil opgemaakt zien of niet of enkel de handdoeken wil laten wisselen. We mankeerden wel een frigo-tje om dranken te koelen bij aanvang van fiets- en wandeltocht. Opvallend is ook dat er op de TV heel van zenders zijn Franse, Duitse, Engelse maar geen van België die toch ook een buurland is maar daar is waarschijnlijk wel een reden voor. Verder is het personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

De kamer was perfect schoon. Ik miste wel een kleine koelkast en was er geen airco. Maar als je dat van te voren weet is het heerlijk vertoeven! Ik kom er zeker terug. Ontbijt was uitgebreid en vers!

Bei Ankunft um 22 Uhr (!!) im Hotel wurden wir darüber informiert, dass sie das Hotel überbucht haben und wir in ein anderes Hotel der Gruppe gehen sollen. Die Vorgehensweise war alles andere als 4 Sterne und es gab weder eine Begründung noch eine Entschuldigung. Die beiden Damen am Empfang waren absolut NICHT professionell und sind auch auf unsere Fragen nicht eingegangen.

Der Hintereingang und der Aussenläufer zum Hintereingang waren schmutzig. Der Haupteingang ist für Gäste mit Gepäck ungeeignet wg. den vielen Treppen. Nur der Hinweis zur Notwendigkeit, den noch offenstehenden Tax vor Aushändigung des Zimmerschlüssels zu begleichen. Zu junges weibliches Personal um Gäste das Gefühl zu geben herzlich willkommen zu sein. Im Café bekam der Gast eine sehr ausgedehnte Bierkarte zu Gesicht, jedoch ohne Preisangaben. Bedienung war nicht imstande die Preise zu nennen. Nur in etwa Preise wurden genannt.

We stayed 4 nights and we were 5 adults. The staff were helpful and very kind. The swimmingpool was big and clean and after 18 pm you could sauna without booking an apointment. The swimmingpool and sauna was open till 23 pm. We ate lunch at the hotel’s restaurant, delicious and fair price.

De kamers hebben een mooie afmeting. Helaas nu al heel warm. Geen airco wel een smoezelige ventilator. Tapijt is niet schoon en heel erg verschoten. Geen horren voor de ramen. De handzeep, shampoo etc worden op de kamer niet aangevuld. Jammer want Rituals is heerlijk. Ze durven een service charge te vragen van € 7,50 per nacht. Zwembad is zo klein dat je er drie slagen in kan maken en dan absoluut maar met 2 personen. Overal in de gangen en in het restaurant blubber op de vloer, zondag maar maandag ook nog. Stoelen met etensresten in het restaurant. Jammer.
De e-bike konden we in een apart schuurtje stallen maar is klein en er staat nog afgedankt terras materiaal.
Prijs kwaliteit is zeker niet in verhouding. Voor een Bilderberg en dan dus 4**** verwacht je meer.
