The area the hotel was located was ok, close by to some stores and restaurants. The parking was not ideal as there wasn't stalls, it was a park in any spot kind of deal. There was one front desk staffer memene that was very rude and essentially ruined our stay there. We were never given the option to pay for an early check in if the rooms were ready. She never smiled and gave one word responses. She made us starve one night when the dinning room at the restaurant was full. I've never been to a hotel that denied room service or food of any kind during regular business hours. Apparently there is another Fletcher hotel nearby that had patrons come over for dinner, thus making residents of our hotel mealess. I wouldn't suggest this hotel for any persons needing an elevator or assistance up stairs. The staircase was poorly lit, narrow, and steep. Other than that, the area is beautiful.

Great location for working in Appeldoorn. They have a very good restaurant and bar. Some rooms are in the main hotel (I have stayed in those before) and they are fine but they have a converted house outside.This is not in there picture on the website.This is not in great condition and the room was very small. No desk just a bed. Generally not very clean, walls, radiator, blinds and carpets need attention. Very tired and old and needs updating. Shower doors did not close properly meaning the very small bathroom gets very wet. Booked this hotel twice in last 2 weeks, after first stay couldnt cancel second week. Sorry but will not be going back. Staff are great and restaurant food very good with great beers. I guess you get what you pay for!! Very much a budget hotel if you end up in the converted house situated within the grounds.

Wij hadden 3 kamers gereserveerd en 2 daarvan stonken heel erg naar riolering. Erg heftig! De 3 persoonskamer bleek een 2 persoonskamer te zijn met een opklap bed... wat niet geschikt is om een volwassenen op te laten slapen.

De kamer was schoon bij binnenkomst. Echter ontbrak ons bedje en gaf de doucheput een minder aangename lucht. Dit opgenoemd voordat we op uitstap gingen. Als we nadien terug waren was het netjes opgelost en rook de kamer aangenaam.
Bij het ontbijt is er er geen warme chocomelk. Dochter heeft dit gevraagd en een hele mooie beker gekregen met slagroom en smarties.
Als we ooit nog eens deze richting komen, komen we zeker terug.

Niet schoon, de badkamer was slecht schoongemaakt, afvalbakje niet geleegd, spinraggen. Ontbijt was erg simpel, oud brood en het gekookt eitje wat we kregen was koud. Bij het binnenkomen bij de receptie sta je vrijwel direct in het restaurant. Een restaurant wat er netjes uitziet, maar de verhouding prijs/kwaliteit is niet goed; te hoge prijzen, waardoor je niet de neiging hebt om nog eens in het restaurant te gaan eten. Ook het feit dat de keuken op een zaterdagavond (!!) om 9 uur sluit is absoluut niet positief te nemen, zeker in een plaats waar gelijkwaardige restaurants langer open zijn. Daarbij is personeel niet altijd ter zake kundig en vaak 'achter de schermen' aan het werk, hierdoor moet je soms erg lang wachten om iets te krijgen wat je besteld hebt maar niet werd geserveerd. Om in de avond nog even een kopje koffie te drinken rond half 10 en dan gewoon 15 minuten moet wachten totdat er iemand van het personeel z'n gezicht laat zien klopt echt niet.
