Just a one night stay. Hotel is quite dated. It is according to what i expected for what i paid with the only caveat being the very poor lighting in the room. Those ancient TL light bulbs really don’t provide much illumination.

We stayed for one night on a visit to Arnhem. The hotel is convenient for Arnhem and the National Park the Hoge Veluwe. Our rooms were in need of some refurbishment. Work was already on its way on some of the rooms.

The hotel is conveniently located off a main road with ample free parking. Ideal for visiting the Open Air Museum and Zoo. Restaurant meals are good and breakfast buffet offers a wide selection. We upgraded to a “comfort” room and thought it was well worth the extra cost.

Inconvenient location
The hotel is located in a very inconvenient location if you do not have a car. I got around by bus and by walking, but the buses run infrequently - every 1/2 hour - and the roads are not great for walking because they are all busy roads with lots of traffic. Buses to to the various sights - Kroller Muller, Open Air Museum, etc. all leave from the central train station, so you have to go back to the train station each time you want to make a connection to a different location. Also, because it is located in the middle of nowhere, the only option is to eat at the hotel restaurant. There are no restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
The photos of the hotel are quite misleading. The actual condition is not as great as depicted in the photos and my room was much more outdated as well.

The Postillion Hotel was an ok hotel. I had difficulty sleeping as the walls are VERY thin and the doors slam when let go. I would recommend staying here if you needed a cheap place to stay for one night. Definitely not if you're planning on staying for multiple nights or for leisure. I do have to say though, the food was very good. I felt like they may have been a little understaffed for dinner as it took about 20 minutes to even get a menu. A thing to note is this hotel is pretty far from the actual center of Arnhem, this did not bother me at all, but it may bother another traveler that is looking to experience Arnhem. If you don' have a car, getting to a place to eat outside of the hotel may prove to be a challenge. The front desk staff was very friendly. I would say that is the best part about this hotel. They have a good staff to greet you upon arrival.

right on the bus route which makes it convenient and less expensive then a taxi. The staff are very friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable, and good bar and restaurant facilities.

given great service by staff and the hotel has a nice bar area and restaurant where we had
excellent Dutch style buffet breakfasts and the occasional dinner as well. The hotel and the
restaurant are reasonably priced by Dutch standards.
The room was large and airy and comfortable and clean. Do not expect facilities like a pool or entertainment for children as the hotel caters for business people largely. However, our age group being the over 50's will find it most suitable and comfortable with free parking on site and free Wi-Fi, a lovely outdoor terrace where we enjoyed some breakfasts and dinners when the weather was nice. Easy access to local attractions and on occasion we left the car at the hotel and walked the short distance to the local bus stop where we caught the bus into Arnhem central, only 15 minutes drive away, to enjoy the shops and markets.
The staff were very helpful and as we stayed 10 nights, they got to know us a little and we enjoyed a personal service from many of them.
We recommend the hotel highly and will probably try one of the other Postillion hotels in the chain, of which I believe, there are 5 in Holland. Great holiday at a great price.

Its a good hotel overall. The room was simple with no safe or mini-bar or kettle etc but it was clean, ample size and a nice bathroom. TV with BBC was a home comfort too.

The location (we had a rental car) was very handy, right off a highway and a main road into Arnhem. Yet the room (as with most or all rooms) was at the back of the hotel, in the woods - very quiet. We ate all breakfasts there, of course, and the selection and quality was excellent. Of course, we really enjoyed the cappuccino maker. But we also ate dinner on the patio there; the staff are very friendly and the food we had was absolutely delicious. If you are American, you will be used to thinking of hotel restaurant food as a last resort. At Postillion, this was NOT the case. Highly recommended.

This hotel was well placed to visit both Arnhem and Oosterbeek, the staff where fantastic, extremely helpful and polite. The restaurant food was great and inexpensive. In short this is a great hotel well worth using for s short.

I stayed with my grandson of 4 in a double room. The room was clean and well equiped.. Wireless internet was good and free, which was very welcome as I had to do some work too.
There was not enough space at the desk in the room to sit both of us, but as my grandson is still small it wasn't a big thing to have him on my lap while using Skype to call his parents.
It was a pity that the bathroom turned into a small pool when we took a shower, it meant that the whole floor turned into a slippery surface, which we set to rights by spreading towels on the floor.
Personell was very friedly. Breakfast was ample with a great variety. A very good place to stay as a family. Value for money!

I like this very nice hotel 5min bus drive away from the centre of Arnhem. Very clean and nice hotel. You need 5 minutes bus drive from centre using 91 or 231 bus. The breakfast was very classy but 14,50 EUR extra. There was also 0,55 EUR city tax extra.

Fantastic hotel - worth staying at. Rooms brilliant, free toiletries. Quiet location so guaranteed good night's sleep. Even had fresh fruit in bowls around the corridors for customers to take. Breakfast really good. Staff always helpful and very professional.

Wir waren mit zwei Hunden dort. Deswegen waren unsere Ansprüche anders als bei einer normalen Städtereise. Direkt hinter dem Hotel gibt es ein großes Naturschutzgelände. Dort müssen Hunde selbstredend angeleint werden, aber es war so ruhig und friedlich dort, dass wir es sehr genießen konnten. Da wir die Hunde vorher angemeldet hatten, haben wir ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss bekommen, damit die Hunde keine Treppen oder Fahrstühle bewältigen müssen. In der Umgebung selbst gibt es keine Geschäfte, Imbissstuben oder Ähnliches. Aber wir haben uns Fahrräder geliehen ( normal 10€ E-bike 15€/ Tag) damit sind wir in ca. 15/20 Minuten in Arnhem gewesen.
Die Räder sind nur mit einem Speichenschloss versehen, was uns für die Innenstadt zu unsicher war. Der Tipp der MA an der Rezeption, dass es in Arnhem 2 kostenlose bewachte Fahrradstationen gibt war hier für uns Gold wert !

War insgesamt in Ordnung. Kleine Einbußen bei der Sauberkeit in der Dusche und den versprochenen Fön auf dem Zimmer musste man an der Rezeption abholen. Sonst hat aber alles gepasst!

Het was voor de eerste keer sinds de versoepelingen vanwege corona dat we konden reizen en hadden een weekend geboekt (van vrijdagavond tot zondagmorgen). Het was ook voor mij de eerste date met haar op een kamer. Ik keek er dus enorm naar uit. Helaas was de kamer een tegenvaller. De kamer is zoals op de foto te zien is enorm klein voor als je met 2 personen bent. Ook was er geen airco op de kamer en kon er geen raam open om te kunnen verluchten. In slaap geraken met die temperaturen was gewoon onmogelijk. Ik ben opgestaan met enorme hoofdpijn van in die warmte te vertoeven en ook te weinig slaap te hebben gehad. Het verblijf zat er dan ook op voor mij. Initieel wou het hotel geen enkele vorm van terugbetaling doen vanwege de annuleringsvoorwaarden maar na mailcontact heeft men hier op terug gekomen en was het 2de ontbijt toch terugbetaald.
Dit hotel is vermoedelijk wel in koudere periodes een aanrader maar zeker niet in de zomer.

They did bot respecto the price of My reservation witch appears in their advertising...it is aceptable to pay additional taxes and to pay them but the price of the room was higher than the price of My reservation....i showed My reservation via email that the same hotel send me but still the reception did not accept ir...given the weather and the time ,i did not leave the hotel...thanks

Heel goede ontvangst. Hadden het nadeel dat er net een groep Duitse jongeren aanwezig waren die het met een hotelcode niet eens waren. Lawaai maken in de gangen en op de kamer tot 4u 's morgens vind ik niet leuk. Tot dat er daar iets tegen ondernomen wordt blijft hotelbezoek in het algemeen voor mij een marteling.

Het hotel is prima gelegen dichtbij de A12. Je wordt vriendelijk geholpen. Echter het hotel ademt jaren 70 van de entree tot aan het behang in de kamers en heeft vernieuwing nodig. Schilderwerk is niet bijgewerkt, het tapijt in de gang is vaal. De kamer is schoon en voorzien van wat je van mag verwachten. Maar ook hier geldt dat een opknap beurt nodig is. Daarentegen is de prijs van de kamer relatief laag en is dit een prima kamer voor 1 nacht.

Helaas heb ik drie nachten slecht geslapen in dit, 'enigszins' gedateerd ingericht hotel. Mijn kamer (408) bevond zich aan achterzijde alwaar, zelfs met het raam dicht, airco's/installaties mijn nachtrust danig wisten te verstoren. We waren hier vanwege een feest in de buurt. Qua ligging is het prima als uitvalsbasis, maar het ligt dicht bij de snelweg en je hoort continu het geraas van auto's. Het hotel blijkt enorm gedateerd en fors verouderd qua inrichting en aankleding. Oude vloerbedekking, oude badkamers qua kleuren en comfort. Matig en weinig gevarieerd ontbijt (eieren waren veel te hard gekookt, weinig zelf gemaakte producten, weinig vers fruit). De bedden op zich waren prima, maar qua comfort verder is er niets op de kamer.
Qua prijs en kwaliteit is dit niet in balans en € 14,50 voor een ontbijt is echt veel en veel te duur. Dit is amper € 7,50 waard. Een grondige aanpak is niet geheel overbodig. Personeel is overigens zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
