Great room, excellent location. However there are other events ongoing at the hotel, this time a Lego play event for kids that will cause a long line for the reception area. We really liked the more luxurious rooms on the 6th floor as they have more firm mattresses and a better set up as the standard rooms. We will be back, still the best place to stay in Ede.

The hotel is fine; the rooms are getting old. There is not much around it, but it is walking distance from the train station, which is very handy. If you are travelling for business and want everything on one bill it cannot be done, you need to pay separately for the restaurant. I think this hotel is good for conferences and events - not so great for 1 person travelling alone

We have been coming here for many years because the location is perfect, close to the main train station. However our stay this time was far below par. Most of the staff was not client friendly. The room was only partially cleaned, the breakfast waiter refused to make fresh scrambled eggs, the waiter in the evening restaurant didn’t really want to serve us after 20:30 (restaurant was open till 21:30). And at the end my bill for a 4 night stay contained a charge for 5 nights breakfast. I will not return.
By the way today this facility was used as a vaccination center for Covid/ Flu so attracts a lot of non-hotel guests.

This is a sort of strange property. The decor seems like it's intended for Instagram photos perhaps? A strange mishmash of styles and design choices. There were a lot of spaces that it wasn't clear what they were for. There is only one restaurant and it has no snacks, though I was able to ask for fries and green salad (and they were made promptly and delivered to my room) but they were not on the menu. I'm vegetarian and allergic to gluten and there was only one thing I could eat. Breakfast was very nice though, with the option to get omelets. Without a car or bike there are not a lot of dining options nearby though Uber Eats does deliver. The room was clean and comfortable though strangely decorated with a shower stall in the room. Internet was reliable and the staff was fluent in English and very helpful when I needed it. It is convenient to the train station with an easy walk.

Reehorst is always friendly and reliable. I only stay here for work so I can't comment on anything other than the basics of checking in, out, quality of room, etc.

The only thing I would say is that while breakfast is absolutely fine, it's expensive for what you get.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Reehorst, it’s very well situated for the station & very comfortable. No kettle but that’s normal in European hotels. I had a problem with the room cards but the front desk staff were always very helpful.

Reliable and convenient hotel

Always a reliable place to stay for work or a personal visit to the area. It's clean, comfortable, welcoming, and has a good breakfast selection. Also very convenient for the train station.

One small suggestion for the bar is to display the latest time you can order at because they stop taking orders well before the closing time listed. But you can buy a smaller selection of drinks and snacks from the \"shop\" at reception, so not a big problem.

I was a bit worried when I saw the pictures of the property online but thankfully, my worries were not founded. My room (2 single beds) was very comfortable and clean. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful in providing dining/sightseeing recommendations. Breakfast had great food. Location was convenient - very close to bus/train station. It was over a mile walk to the center of town for dinner but the walk was very pretty and we always enjoyed it.

The ReeHorst is a slightly older hotel with an outstanding staff who go out of their way to make your stay great. The breakfast buffet is extensive and generous. The lunch and dinner menu, though limited, is excellent.

On looking on the website you see beautifully decorated rooms and this is what I expected. However, I booked a standard room and the reality was very different! I was disappointed!

Not family friendly.

It was not a pleasant family stay. Just remember that there is no fridge or hot drinking water available for hotel guests. You have to pay to get water from the restaurant. As a family traveling with a young toddler we struggled to get hot water for the baby. Also our son was taking antibiotic that needs to be stored in the fridge, but there was no fridge available to us and we had to throw the medicine away as it started changing its color during the 2nd day. In overall, this is not a family friendly hotel and we will not stay here again.

Very expensive breakfast

This was the second time I've stayed and this time had to pay extra for breakfast Very nice but very, very expensive (about the same price as the cost of the hotel room).
Don't get a room at the front of the hotel as it's very noisy at night with people leaving bars by the station. Good for convenience but the costs in the hotel really add up

but annoying wifi is set up so you can only receive email and not send.
Can't understand why there is a main light switch in the bed headboard (just behind the pillow) - lights switch on every time you move

Beautiful hotel! I Would stay there again!

The hotel is beautifully decorated with such helpful staff! I loved the deluxe double room we stayed in although I did find there wasn't much room to move around. In terms of cleanliness it was good overall however, the room was a little dusty :(! Other than that I loved our stay and would recommend it to others!

I stayed at Reehorsts for business. I love its location near to train station and supermarkets. Room was big, fairly clean, hotel was fairly quiet. The room however was not cleaned properly on some days. Forgot to resupply soaps, towels, etc on some days. the receptionist is efficient but lack hospitality, especially those manning the night shift.

Cracking little find

Room was a little outdated but very spacious indeed, and kept very clean. In-room refrigerator was ultimately pointless as the internal temperature was even with the ambient temperature of the room. No tea or coffee facilities in the room, but in fairness this was not advertised and the coffee offered at the bar was very good.
Staff were very helpful and the in-house restaurant offered very good dining which I can't fault at all.

I was expecting more from this hotel based on previous guest reviews. The accommodation (room) was quite basic. The bathroom was only in average condition. My wake up call didn't come. Didn't try breakfast as was rushing to get to my meeting. Not sure I'd want to go back again.

Mooie ruime en schone familiekamer. Attent voor de kids met welkoms tasje. Personeel heel attent. Restaurant mooie inrichting, het eten was gemiddeld. Nadeel is het oude tapijt in de kamer en gangen. Ook de airco maakt veel lawaai bij het aangaan. Het zou leuk zijn voor de kids als de speeltoestellen (airhockey, flipperkast, sjoelen etc) de hele dag beschikbaar zijn, ipv na 15:00 uur.

Fantastische ruime kamer met heerlijk grote jacuzzi. Heerlijk groot bed en ruime douchecabine.

Helaas waren sommige oppervlakken niet goed schoon. Diverse tafeltjes waren erg kleverig.

De ligging van het hotel is perfect om met de auto te bereiken maar ligt te ver uit het centrum om dit te voet af te leggen.

Big hotel, close to the train station. Easy to find. Public areas are quite nice but rooms are quite interesting and different. Difference could be good thing but having all these textures all over the walls as well make the room feel a bit stale. Breakfast could have been nice if there had been enough personnel to fill pots, now there was no warm food other than mushrooms left. Not the worst but not the best either.

Wij verbleven 1 nacht in het reehorst hotel. Bij binnenkomst zag alles er prima uit. Wat verouderd maar wel netjes. Eenmaal in de kamer bleek de climate control niet naar behoren te werken. Daarvoor in de plaats stond een mobiele airco waarvan de slang naar buiten niet tussen het kiepraampje paste waardoor de warme lucht weer terug kwam naar binnen.
Daarna nog even onder de douche, alleen een kleine douchekop op het plafond en geen slang. Erg onhandig als je het mij vraagt. En dat terwijl er wel een beugel hangt voor een losse slang.
Als je de douche uitzet hoor je door de leidingen een heel hard geluid. Wij werden wakker van de douche van de buren. Geen waterkoker of koffiezetapparaat aanwezig, ook geen koelkastje voor je eigen drinken. Dit dient dus beneden tegen betaling gehaald te worden.
Toch waren er ook wel wat positieve punten. Het bed in onze kamer was goed te doen, de kamer was netjes en schoon.
Als laatste complimenten voor het personeel welke je allemaal begroeten en bereidt zijn net iets extra’s voor je te doen

Een fijn verblijf bij de Reehorst.

De Reehorst is een goed geoutilleerd hotel: de kamers zijn wel aan een opknapbeurt toe. De locatie zo dichtbij het station is top. Jammer dat het restaurant op zondag dicht is: dan maar naar de Pyramide voor een Shoarma schotel.
