Very expensive for what it is. They seem to be charging more even though there are ugly and noisy renovations going on. The staff are friendly but the customer doesn’t seem to come first in areas like the bar shutting when there are people in it, and areas of the hotel being left very messy during refurbishment.

Clean hotel. They are doing renovations so some areas are very much under repair but my room was nice and new.

Has laundry room and ironing boards which is great.

No fridge in the single twin room, meant for short business trips stays.

Check in was easy and staff is friendly, housekeeping came daily with fresh towels and soaps.

Great place to stay for a solo traveler.

Booked a single room for one night on business. The wifi was good enough to enable me to work as was the reasonably sized desk. I used the small but sufficiently equipped fitness centre before retiring to a very comfortable bed.

Great location with nice lobby and view from the room. The food in the restaurant is good but the service by staff in the bar or main counter, not the best.
Asked for 30 mins late check-out and denied after 3 days stay.

I was in town for meetings at the a university. There’s a bus to campus nearby but its also a pleasant 30 minute walk. There’s the older part of town nearby with plenty of restaurants. I’d describe the hotel as completely adequate. Smallish rooms but all fine.

I went to Wageningen for a course at the university for one week (5 days). The bus station was conveniently reachable and hotel and the downtown area offer various options to eat out.

The staff at the desk was always friendly and helpful and offered to tell me how to get to the university.
I had booked a very small single room, but it was nice and clean every day. The view from my hotel room was on the hotel roof and the street, on the other side, I would have seen some water.

On the ground floor of the Hotel are a very nice Restaurant and a nice public area with sofas, armchairs, tables and plants. I met with some fellow students in that area every day. We were impressed by the strong-looking basil growing in a showcase there.

also the plumbing is terribe - woke up in the middle of the night with what sounded like a flood coming through the wall. Suspect this was all the upstairs rooms drainage pipework
walls are also very thin so all in all a bad nights sleep

Many times the service was good and friendly, at other times decidedly unfriendly. Things agreed between WICC and myself over email two months prior to my stay had not registered with WICC and caused misunderstandings. It points to a lack of procedures that could ensure that information is transferred from one employee to another

Not good. hotel advertises as 2 X twin bed rooms and you get 2 single beds. Then hotel starts charging for additional bed. The rooms are small and scantily furnished. They have surge pricing and costs are very high on conference dates.

Convenient, excellent location for business visits

I was able to check in with no problem having got in quite late. The one complaint would be the confusing, criss-cross, chain-fence pattern on the sliding doors outside reception; they gave me the impression the hotel was closed when it was not. Aside from this, I had an excellent stay in a comfy, well-furnished room with a great view and regular, in-obtrusive cleaning.

My kind regards go to the staff.

Decent Value for Money

This place is right downtown, has small but adequate rooms, and food available most hours of the day. You also get a nice view of Wageningen from the upper floors. Overall good value for what you are paying for.

Good for the price, but manage your expectations

The location is by far the best feature that this hotel can have, the rooms are standard, no luxury at all and may remind you of your dorms during college. However the environment is pretty quiet and noise was never an issue. The meeting area is well decorated and well mantained. Good place to meet with collegues.

Veldig lite rom som skulle være tomanns-rom. Nesten ikke plass til kofferten eller å snu seg rundt på badet. Ingen mulighet til å lufte og dårlig avtrekk så rommet var «fuktig» etter dusj i 2 dager

De kamer is erg klein. Kan mij niet voorstellen om daar met twee personen te verblijven. Wel een goed bed en een fantastische douche. De vloer van de kamer was niet helemaal schoon. Airco werkt prima en geldt ook voor de TV en koffie/thee faciliteiten. Kortom: goed voor één nacht!

En heerlijk verblijf.

In eerste instantie had ik een andere kamer in het nog niet gerenoveerde deel van het hotel. Omdat ik last had van het geluid van de verbouwing kreeg ik een paar etages hoger een kamer. Omdat ook dat nog niet optimaal was kreeg ik een prachtige mooiere kamer in een ander gedeelte.
De fietsberging is prima.
Het ontbijt is prima maar in veel hotels heb je voor hetzelfde geld een uitgebreider ontbijt. Omdat het op verschillende plekken in het restaurant staat opgesteld ontbreekt het overzicht een beetje.
Persoonlijk vind ik een deur naar de douche plezierig, nu heb je na het douchen veel vocht in de kamer.
Wel een enorm plezierig verblijf gehad. Personeel is enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam en zeker de jongedames bij de receptie.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past years and have witness many changes for the better. Generally, I am satisfied, and yet there is room for improvements. Some staff are super friendly and helpful (especially female staff), others rushed and inattentive.
A large pary of guests had an early breakfast on Saturday morning, and when the restaurant opened for other guests at 8 o'clock am, the various dishes had not been replenished.
I miss an outdoor area that is accesible at all times.

Ligt heeft wel een beurt nodig super traag. En spiegel op badkamer alleen voor grote mensen! Hangt veel te hoog of grotere spiegel op hangen, zodat ook kleinere volwassenen iets meer kunnen zien dan hun kruin.

Een congreshotel.... en dat merk je in het weekend

Hier een nacht verbleven. Een hotel dat zich denk ik voornamelijk richt op congressen en bijeenkomsten en daardoor minder geschikt voor een weekend.

Vriendelijke service maar in het weekend redelijk leeg. Dan moet je nog wel eens op zoek om bij iemand een kop koffie te kunnen bestellen. Doordat het zo leeg was nodigde het ook niet uit om er te blijven zitten. Daardoor heb ik er ook niet gegeten.

Dan de kamers, ik had een een persoonskamer en die was klein. In de badkamer nauwelijks ruimte om te bewegen. Daarnaast was er geen airco op de kamers waardoor het oncomfortabel slapen dus in deze warme periode.

Het gezellige centrum van Wageningen is overigens binnen enkele minuten loopafstand dus daar vindt je wat meer levendigheid.

Een hotel op loopafstand van een busstation en een bioscoop/binnenstad wat goed onderhouden is. Hoewel de badkamer wat krap aanvoelt, is dit bijna niet noemenswaardig te noemen. Goed bed, goed personeel, goed om 1 nacht te overnachten.

Old bones and friendly staff

An oldish hotel, painted and repainted to look kinda fresh.

My room had the floor fuse box right over the pillows of my bed, which was not terribly inviting. Imagined having the janitor having to enter the room in the middle of the night to fix stuff. Had a peek and the fuses looked 40 years old, and were not reassuring sight as a fire hazard. Lightbulbs/lamps didn't work and the elevator was easily beaten by walking the floors.

The staff in the reception area were wonderful, though. Professional, friendly and helpful - with a smile! The staff at breakfast might just be overworked and understaffed, but they seemed to be trying their best for the guests.

Relatively nice hotel, it would be \"decent\" if the price was not so high . In general, the rooms are small, the beds quite uncomfortable (mini single beds), the room is very hot , bathroom small and uncomfortable, and the staff is quite disapointing. Just as an example, there was no way of asking for some ice... Conclusion: NOT WORTH THE MONEY!
