The issues were… that the day of the checkin they didn’t have hot water (the reception claimed a power outage that day) but the next morning it was the same… no hot water. Keep in mind it was December, so no cold shower recommended. Also the hall towards the rooms had a temperature almost like outside

We had a room next to the parking lot, in the morning there was a pickup of a large group. The bus was running in stationary for I don't know how long. Sauna was moved from inside the hotel to outside, but signs where still refering to the old sauna, \"10a.m. - 10p.m.\" a sign next to the closed door said. The sauna lacked a infrared, Turkish steambath and a whirlpool. Lunch was mediocre, barley done fries, dry meat (saté). But all in all, dispite the previously mentioned points a great stay in a 'hip' and clean hotel with friendly staff.

Been here many times. Recent visit we were in a renovated room. Found it quite dark, bottom sheets on beds not made prooerly and just about covered bed. TV had a mind of its own, either wouldn't come on or turned itself on in the night. Air conditioning/ heating instructions didn't match pictures on instruction sheet next to it. No bath/shower slip mats available and no safe in room even though there should have been.

Very clean hotel with an excellent buffet. The room is very clean and feels clean. Room is a little too dark and you cannot comfortably sit and read on a cloudy day. Rain shower works very well. The room temperature is set to 20.5 but will not adjust upwards if you want the room to be warm.

Perfect journey break point in pleasant surroundin
We used here as a break in our Journey from central Sweden before going on to the free the next day. After the hustle of the German Autobahn you come to a surprisingly quiet, just off the motorway hotel in rural surroundings. the staff are all polite & helpful and both they and the hotel were clean & well presented. Dinner in the a la carte restaurant was fresh and filling as was breakfast in the buffet. Overall a great stop (for the second year running).

I had accompanied a friend for her fathers funeral. It was also my birthday. The hotel left me a bottle of wine and two glasses in my room and also produced a free dessert with a sparkler in it at the end of my evening meal. Very impressed and delighted.

Old-style Van der Valk that has accumulated a couple of years. Ideal for biking in the close-by national park area. Friendly reception. Bathroom is way too small, think 2 star size.Central ventilation makes constant nightly noise, intermittently quite noisy if your room is close to the source. You can rent horses.

Such an eco-friendly hotel with nice staff, cosy pool and a gym, free coffee, tea and water at reception was a nice plus. The condition of the rooms was great, especially the housekeeping cleaned the room so perfectly every day - we stayed for 3 nights in suite and our kids enjoyed a lot that they didn't even want to leave! Een hotel waar je echt even tot rust komt na een dagje erop uit geweest te zijn. De kamer was groot. De kinderen waren heel blij met hun stapelbed met tv er in. De bank was wat doorgezakt en zat niet zo lekker. Een tv deed het niet en zat los in de beugel. Het zwembad was geweldig. Ook het ontbijt was uitstekend! Op de tweede dag was het wel erg druk in de ontbijt zaal. Er was van alles te kiezen. De kinderen hadden zelfs poffertjes. De fitness was erg klein. De omgeving is erg mooi.

De hoofd bediening zei dat we beneden in de bar kon zitten om te drinken. Maar er was geen bediening. Ben toen gaan vragen of er iemand nog kwam ging ze uit zoeken. Het bleek dat er sollicitatie was en de hoofd bediening gaf als antwoord. We kunnun nog half uur met ons neus in de mobiel blijven zitten of naar boven toe gaan om bij de hoofd gang wat drinken.
