Breakfast menu with only vegetarian options was disappointing. Focus on dinner meny was again vegetarian, I opted for the so-called chicken burger and was very poor and would have been better going to a well known fast food outlet for a better burger.

There was a shortage of storage space. There should have been a table or luggage rack under the television. When we asked for the room to be cleaned the dirty coffee cup was never removed and replaced with a clean cup. The decaf coffee was never replaced after the first day and we would have to request more at reception. These are minor deficiencies but in aggregate they become annoying. Overall we were pleased with the accommodations .

We had a lovely stay but mattress was too soft. A beautiful scenic location. We found the staff to be very professional, friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was excellent and had a great selection of food. We would come again

The property needs some major updating. It is very outdated on the outside and inside. Air conditioning would be a very big plus because it was extremely hot and inside did not have the proper air-conditioning accommodations for getting to the train instead of making somebody walked over 3 miles a day each way to and from the train station because Cavs cost were extremely ridiculous for a five minute ride equals $40. A pool at the facility would be nice. Entertainment would be nice. Games or some kind of activities would be nice. The food was very good. Breakfast could’ve offered a little more. When you say you’re having a bad day it should consist of more than eggs. The weight staff and servers were very nice. All the employees were very nice.

Postillion Hotel Amerfoort was a great place to stay. Our room was very clean and well supplied. We had a beautiful lake view. We haven't needed to use any of the services, however, the staff we had contact with were all very friendly and helpful.
Our only complaint was that there is only access through the main entrance. Our room was quite a distance from the entrance and it was a long haul with luggage. Other than that, it was a great place to stay and would recommend to others.

Stayed for 5 nights, great hotel with an amazing view across the water, really peaceful setting.

Our only complaint is the bad mannered guests who insist on taking their dogs inside the restaurant spoiling dinner and breakfast for other guests, I personally have a severe pet allergy, really not impressed with dogs barking and walking around shaking their fur while we ate dinner and to make matters worse one guest then allowed her large scruffy hairy hound to put its front paws on the table to be fed and lick her face, the owner got quite aggressive when another guest complained about the animal. It’s never necessary for animals to be in an public restaurant.
Its a shame that this is allowed to spoil other guests stay.

We had a lovely stay here. The lake was wonderful to sit by on the terrace. The weather was beautiful in March and we didn’t see any bugs yet. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Our bed was actually one large mattress and not 2 beds pushed together so that was pleasant. I only wish the patio furniture was nicer and a table outside would be nice. You can walk the trails to the beach and the park next to the hotel. The area was nice and quiet. Our room unfortunately had a door that could be connected to the room next door and the people next to us had a crying baby so we heard that for 3 days through the door so not soundproof. The terrace sliding door was a bit difficult to lock and unlock. Perhaps some instructions on the door would be helpful because I heard many others struggling with it. The staff were friendly. There is a large free parking lot with electric charging. Just grab the ticket when you first arrive, give it to the front desk when checking in, and they will register your license plate so you can go in and out without any fuss.

Een heerlijke rustige omgeving.Wij verbleven hier 3 nachten.Hele zachte bedden.De tegels in de badkamer zijn na het douchen heel glad, dus pas op! Het eten in het restaurant; De postilion burger was tussen het broodje door de sla , ect , bijna niet te vinden.De Ceasar salade werd geserveerd als grote stronken/bladeren op je bord.Overigens zonder kaas.De groente quise was lauw.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal. Ich hätte bei **** etwas mehr Liebe zum Objekt erwartet da das Haus sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Zimmer sehr schön sind. Die Badtür knarzte entsetzlich laut so das man Nachts Sorge hatte die Tür zu bewegen, die Vorhänge waren defekt, ein Beistelltisch angeknabbert von einem Hund und die Fenster echt schmutzig leider auch in den Fluren. Zu Frühstückszeiten wurde das Restaurant geputzt. Alles für sich keine Katastrophe, aber eben auch nicht schön und es ließe sich schnell ab ändern Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt und wir hoffen das die nett gemeinte Kritik nicht falsch verstanden wird.

Very nice lake view but under average food
The room with lake view is very nice, and the views are amazing! The telescope that you see in the pictures is provided but in our case did not work! I do not recommend having dinner in the hotel, I think (or at least I hope) that there are better options outside. I will not describe in detail the dinner service, I think it’s enough to mention that the garlic bread is the one from the typical supermarket bag like albert heijn. I dont think a serious restaurant should do these things.

Wir haben zwei Nächte in einem Comfortzimmer mit Terrasse und Seeblick gebucht und der Ausblick ist unbezahlbar! Abends konnten wir den Sonnenuntergang bewundern und morgens mit Blick auf den See mit vielen Schwänen und Enten aufwachen - Herrlich!
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstücksbüffet gut - keine Überraschungen, aber frisches Obst und leckere süße Teilchen. Vollkommen in Ordnung und immer frisch aufgefüllt. Wir werden gerne wieder kommen!

Der Preis von 20,00 Euro/Tag für einen ist extrem hoch. Es muss bei der Ankunft, dafür unterschrieben werden, was der Hund alles nicht darf. Der Hund darf während der Badesaison nirgends hin. Das Gassi gehen gestaltet sich echt schwierig. Bei einem 4 Sterne Hotel kann ich eigentlich schon erwarten, dass beim Frühstück frische Semmeln und Gebäck angeboten wird.

Nice place at the water. If you have things you need to do, this is a nice place to stay. Service is not constant. We left early every morning for an event. 1 day there was no breakfast prepared for us. 2 day, excellent breakfast was prepared. 3 day, terrible breakfast was prepared. Resturang food is just okay, I would say there is other mich nicer places around. Beautiful place to have drinks, staff super friendly. We would come back again.

Es war wunderbar, super sauber, tolles Personal, tolle Matratzen, schön eingerichtete Zimmer mit Blick aufs Wasser, parken inklusive.
Eine Kleinigkeit wäre da, dass die Heizung und Lüftung auch im ausgeschalteten Zustand Geräusche macht, mit Ohropax aber nichts mehr zuhören. Wir würden wiederkommen und wir können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen.

Locatie prachtig. Grote kamer met 2 kleine bedden die veel te zacht zijn en de matrassen pasten amper op de bedbodem. 1e dag wilden wij lunchen op het terras. Na 20 minuten was nog niemand komen vragen wat wij wilden drinken en om de kaart te brengen, het was absoluut niet druk. Zijn weer weggegaan. Wij hebben ook niet kunnen ontdekken waarom het een 4 sterren hotel was, geen zwembad of sport gelegenheid. Geen koelkastje op de kamer en een karig ontbijt.
