We arrived later than planned and therefore wanted to eat at the hotel’s restaurant. The kitchen was about to close although it was only 19:30. The very friendly manager offered us the option of another restaurant nearby or to have the kitchen fix us a plate. We opted for the latter and had a great steak. And a beer on the house each. Much appreciated.

Hotel within a conference centre, set in a lovely forest-like setting, although it fronts onto a motorway as well. Rooms are somewhere between an academic residence and a mid-level hotel and on that expectation they are nicely set up. Breakfast is plentiful with lots of options though service is \"light\" and may require some hunting for cutlery or foods that have run out. Good value for money.

1 persoonskamer is in een oud bijgebouw, verouderde kamer met een doorgezakt bed. Aangekaart bij de receptie waarbij er meteen excuses werd aangeboden en ze met een passende oplossing kwamen. Waarvoor dank!!

ISVW steht auf Holländisch für Internationale Schule für Wissbegierige. Im zentralen Haus findet man daher auch Bibliotheken etc, es ist kein klassisches Hotel. Es ist nicht ein Gebäude mit einzelnen Zimmern, sondern die Zimmer sind von draußen aufschließbar. Der eigentliche Raum ist etwas spartanisch, aber völlig in Ordnung. Gespart hat man am Bad - Toilette ist ein Extraraum ohne Heizung, kann entsprechend kalt sein; das Bad ist sehr simpel eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet könnte mehr Optionen bieten.

Het concept van de accommodatie vond ik bijzonder toepasselijk middels het geven van namen aan de kamers. De informatie op de kamers over de betreffende wijsgeer was ook zeer compleet. De locatie, met een bos om en nabij de accommodatie, is perfect. Prima ontbijt. Wij komen zeker een keer terug, bij voorkeur meer dan 1 nacht.
