Short stay in off-the-beaten-path getaway
Very relaxing three day stay at the Bergse Bossen. The staff was friendly and not intrusive. The hotel specializes in business conferences so it is quite busy during the week with convenings in their many conference rooms, so my suggestion would be that if you are looking for a vacation stay it would be best to stay there on the weekend, but despite the multiple meetings taking place and using the main lounge area for their breakout sessions, it was not intrusive on our stay as it is a very large open space. The rooms are small but in good condition, I might recommend reserving a bungalow if you are looking for added peace and sanctuary. After 5 days running around Amsterdam and the Hague, it was a very nice relaxing place surrounded by wonderful forest and trails which was the main attraction for us staying there. The room service was fast and reliable, the food was delicious and surprisingly good for such an isolated place. If you are looking for any touches of luxury this is not the place, but if you are in-between destinations or looking for a place that is a few steps up from camping in the woods, this is a great option.

Warm and refined retreat in Driebergen
Stayed for five nights with my teenage daughter while visiting family in the area. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Good water pressure in shower. Room temp perfect. Fast wifi. Friendly service. Excellent breakfast - my daughter is a picky eater and she really liked the traditional Dutch pancakes and hagelslag on bread. I really liked the pub/cafe just steps from the hotel lobby. You could get a bite to eat late into the evening. Loved the wood floors and tables, the vintage lighting, and long bar. We watched a World Cup soccer game on the television with the locals. It was a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff there was very kind and fun to talk to. The hotel would be great for business meetings and it appeared they host many. They have a large open lobby with comfortable seating and fireplaces. I definitely plan to stay there again when in the area. Coffee and tea always available. Nice touches like Wilhelmina peppermints, hard candies and little cookies in the lobby.

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights with my son who was playing sport nearby. Hotel is in a beautiful location and the room was comfortable. The catering options are fairly limited although this was not an issue for a short stay. The lounge area is extremely pleasant. Overall good value for money.

Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage für Ausflüge (Wandern, Stadtbesuche von Utrecht usw) und liegt dennoch sehr ruhig.
Für unsere Hunde gab es bei der Ankunft, Näpfe, Hundekissen sowie Leckerchen, ein Ball und Kottüten. Das war sehr aufmerksam und die beiden haben sich gefreut.
Das Zimmer ist wie auf den Bildern abgebildet.
Das Bad ist etwas unpraktisch und bietet kaum Platz und Licht. Hier ist da wären ein paar Schönheitsreperarturen notwendig. Beachten sollte man, dass die Zimmer sehr hellhörig sind. Das Personal oft freundlich. Wir hätten uns über einen Bereich zum kaufen von Getränken gefreut oder auch einen Miniroomservice da wir mit den Hunden nicht ins Restaurant durften. Ansonsten haben wir uns wohlgefühlt.

Ankom til aften. Check-in foregik forholdsvis hurtigt af en søvnig receptionist. Jeg spurgte til restauranten, og han vidste ikke om den overhovedet var åben. Den lukkede i øvrigt tidligt.

Dit weekend hebben wij met een groep vrienden geweldig genoten in Driebergen.
Vrijdagavond gegeten in de Brasserie Shared dinjng, het was heerlijk,mooi opgediend en betaalbaar. Daarna een spelletje in de lounge bij de haard , koffie en thee mocht je gewoon pakken er lagen zelfs koekjes en chocolaatjes.
Zaterdag ondanks af en toe een bui fijn gewandeld,je loopt zo het bos in en er zijn ook wandelingen bij de receptie beschikbaar.
Zaterdag ook in de Brasserie gegeten deze avond was er een diner met menu en een buffet met lekkere hapjes en als afsluiting een toetjesbuffet.
De ontbijten waren ook super!

Het hotel staat in een prachtige foto’s omgeving in het bos! Het ontvangst was hartelijk en mooie binnenkomst met gezelligheid in de lobby. Helaas hadden wij meer verwacht van de Deluxe kamer. Het was heel erg verouderd en klein. De douche was zo klein dat je je arm stoot bij het insoppen.(geen 145 euro waard).
