We really enjoyed our stay the resort is beautiful and peaceful. The staff is terrific! From the front desk, valet, cleaning, and servers everyone was super kind and friendly! There were a few down sides to our stay- the hot tubs were warm, but the jets didn’t work and even though there are 2 of them- they are pretty small. The pool didn’t feel heated- but maybe it was because of all the rain and the heater couldn’t keep up? But the pool is super big and I loved it was indoors and outdoors! I do wish you could make reservations online for archery etc or there was a person in the main lodge to help (no big deal to call- I just like scheduling online more) I also wished the steam room/ sauna wasn’t in the locker rooms- I would have enjoyed sitting with my husband in either instead of alone. But given just the few negatives I would definitely go back for rest and relaxation! It is a beautiful resort with wonderful workers!!

Beautiful hotel and loved staying here. Small details to take it over the top. Crown molding needed caulked in bedroom. Pool walls needed deep cleaning. Some of the plants around the paths near the pool were invasive into the sidewalks. Omelette maker at breakfast seemed a little green. Sausages at breakfast not cooked. Several waits for front desk clerks to appear, although all were very helpful. Valet staff helpful with opening doors, but openly talking about how they need to make more money. Overall, we will continue to visit, but there are a few small touches that could take this place over the top. It would be great if they had a casual place other then Brassies to grab ice cream, pizza or candy- often find ourselves going out for food. Some some small things that could make the big difference!

The property is very nice. A little aged on the cottages. The buffet was very well done , fresh, well seasoned and flavorful. Rare for buffet. The breakfast buffet was a little of a let down. For 22 a person. The omelet station was closed no pancakes or waffles or French toast. So for the price and only having 8 or so options I felt it was overpriced for what you get. I will say the quality was great for both and could tell it was all fresh made with real ingredients. The over all stay was great and the service was awesome. Very friendly and helpful.

We only got to stay one night, but it was great! We had a beautiful spacious room, with comfy beds, and a real breakfast the next morning, courtesy of the hotel. When I say real, I mean cooked to order, not a continental breakfast.The grounds were lovely and I wish I had felt better to explore them.
The staff is above and beyond with friendly yet professional rapport with the clientele. My daughter gives the pool and hot tub 10 out of 10. We'll stay longer the next time to thoroughly enjoy the scenery!

The restaurant selection was poor. The main restaurant was very expensive and the quality did not match the price. We ate at this restaurant on Friday night! The bar in the main lobby was not staffed! The club lounge/bar downstairs was packed all the time. The did not have adequate staff to serve the many people trying to eat, and we were just ignored! I was able to snag a drink at the bar and take it upstairs to the lobby area since that bar was closed. However, we tried multiple times to get food and couldn’t! We ended up driving to a chic fil a for supper on Saturday night!

Great place to stay for a weekend! Pretty surroundings and lots to do. Rooms comfortable and staff helpful. Huge beautiful fireplace to sit by in the lobby and have a glass of wine. Near many different fun places for day trip adventures and make sure to eat at the Copper Door for dinner one night in NC just 11 minutes away.

This is a favorite tradition of ours but the last 2 years, the cleanliness of the facility is not up to the Brasstown Valley Resort standards. ALL areas need deep cleaning as there is inches of DUST on baseboards, etc. Our bathroom counter and door was very dusty and the showerhead was not clean. As someone on dialysis with a weakened immune system, we have to be very careful. We don't want to stop coming here, but the overall cleanliness needs to be addressed.

We have been coming to Brasstown Valley for over 10 years, and I feel it has been declining. We have been there a few times when the large fireplace was broken, they forgot to bring our food service, the fireplace in the room broke, the room was not serviced when we arrived, and we killed stink bugs during the night. We usually come up for Valentine’s Day but have been considering canceling the trip. I have always called it my happy place. I hope it can be so again.

When we got there we felt unwelcomed, the front desk staff didn't inform us of anything related to the hotel services, told us to read the paper and sign. The diningroom staff was slow, at breakfast had to wait until someone showed up (it was empty). We learned that it was buffet style when we asked for the menu. Buffet was not that good. The only friendly perso was Eugene the bellman. This was our second stay there and it's going to be our last.

My wife stayed at this property many times over the years. This time was probably a mistake. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and she desired the North Georgia Mountains. The first night after dinner we decided to have a cocktail. I waited 20 minutes in line at the lobby bar only to have a party of 3 to show up and immediately get their drink orders at the dismay of others standing in line. The rooms were not maintained and engineering was requested to clear out the drain in the shower of hair so water would drain. The surround around the shower was coming apart and the sink faucet handle and toilet were loose. We asked several times to have the fireplace lit and waited over an hour the first night before retiring, it was not lit that night. The second night took several requests for Adirondack logs before they finally added wood to the fire. The fire place is the focal point of the main room. Finally the room service left a note they ran out of towels and would return later to replinish the room. They never returned. Such a shame given the level and service and care for the property in the past.

We booked 2 nights in a king balcony room. They tried to put us in a dark, dank basement type room and when I asked to move the front desk lady just said sorry we’re completely booked. I pulled up an app and found a king balcony room and showed it to her, and she said well ok but you can only stay tonight- we’re booked tomorrow. I showed them my reservation for 2 nights and they said sorry - 4 weddings this weekend. I asked why they accepted my reservation if they didn’t have the room available and they told me I shouldn’t have booked through a third party (hotels.com) Then they said I couldn’t have booked a balcony room because you can only book a standard room on the app (not true). So we checked in Friday, on my birthday, and were told to leave Saturday. There was no trying to figure out a solution; no helping us find a room at another hotel; no apologies. At check out Saturday morning, they tried to charge us more than the rate we were quoted. I specifically spent 300$+ dollars for a night to enjoy the fireplace with my sister since she’s never had that northern experience. Well, we arrived and the fireplace would not light. I called it in and was told the engineer would come by. However the whole night, and after until we checked out, no engineer came.
The room is overpriced and made to look better in the pictures. However, at the very least if someone is going to pay for “a cozy fireplace stay” atleast deliver what you’re charging for.

We loved this property. Beautiful scenic views everywhere we walked. We didn't have time to take advantage of any of the wonderful amenities other than the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The staff was very friendly and polite. The food was great! The food was much better than expected having been a restaurant professional. I would highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a beautiful resort in this area.
