Awesome, this is a really cute boutique hotel. The room was perfect for a couple and a great bed. I was sorry we were there only one night because I really wanted to soak in the tub with the view of the church tower.

Charming small hotel on the square so everything is walkable. Can be noisy at night if you face the square. There is an elevator but you still may have to walk a few steps up to your room.

Stayed at Mother Goose from September 24-26. Room was charming and unique. Location was excellent. Close to bars, restaurants and shopping. Cannot say enough about the staff. They were extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly! Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed in a suite, everything seemed perfect, but there is a loud wooden stair just outside the room and people come and go all night long, so it's not very nice.

What a lovely hotel in the heart of Utrecht! The experience was excellent and the staff were super friendly and did everything they could to make my stay a great one. I also really appreciated the kind way they dealt with a mix up on reservation dates that was not their fault.

Great base for getting to know the city
Right in the centre of things - a friendly spot from which to explore. The room commanded a good view of the Domtor and the goose market obvs. The vegan breakfast wasn’t for me but there are lots of cafes nearby. Good curtains to block out the early sunshine and I slept well!

The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and offered a friendly smile in all my interactions with them. I had left an item in the hotel after checkout and contacted the hotel via email and phone call. The item was held for me up to the time I was able to pick it up. Great customer service. I wanted to extend my stay one more night, unfortunately, hotel was all booked! Get a booking in this hotel, its a memorable experience.

This was probably the cutest hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff members were all very kind and the service was just great. I was concerned about the noise that some of the reviews mentioned, but my room was positioned at the back of the building (opposite side of the ground level pub) and I didn't hear anything at night. I also loved that the entire hotel was environment-friendly. I would go back to this hotel when I return back to Utrecht, no doubt!

I remember coming to Utrecht for half a day, maybe 20 years ago and remember how lovely it was. Mother Goose was the perfect location to discover old Utrecht. Great location, lovely hotel and the staff were brilliant. We'll definitely return.

We had a lovely night at this hotel! Stylishly decorated with an incredibly comfortable bed. Great location in the center of Utrecht but our room was super quiet. Only complaint is that the room was tiny - we were tripping over stuff and we only had one bag each. I don't know if all the rooms are that size or if it was just the one we got.

Mother Goose is in a great location in the beautiful centre of Utrecht. It has a bit of interesting recent history, in that it's a conversion on the site of a long-running and famous squat. (Earplugs are provided - they weren't needed when we were there, but I guess some nights are loud!).
This isn't a full service hotel, it's just attended rooms, but it's well-appointed, and the number of cafés and restaurants in the immediate area means that Mother Goose's model works well.
Staff were helpful. Our safe didn't work and couldn't be fixed, but they gave us access to the safe in the unoccupied room next door.
We used the hotel's paid car park 5 minutes walk away. This was fine, but if your destination is Utrecht (we were just staying for two nights while passing through) I would advise you not to take a car at all, as getting into the centre is so complex because of restrictions aimed at keeping cars off the narrow streets.

This boutique hotel is amazing! We got an upgrade to a larger room as we stayed for 5 nights. Wonderful interior, cool details. Staff is super friendly and interested, and very responsive to our requests. Also helped us find a doctor's office and printed out some documents. They have a good COVID policy (cleaning, wearing masks). There is no restaurant on-site, but you can order breakfast to your room, and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants in walking distance. Ask them for recommendations! Note: there is an elevator, but for 3 rooms there is additional stairs (7 steps) to take. Great location!

We enjoyed our stay at the Mother Goose Hotel ( The only downside was that we could not get a taxi from the train station - The Marathon was on that day! ) & it took us a bit of time to get to the hotel, together with the fact that the Rietveld house was closed on Mondays ( our fault! - we should have checked in advance! ) But we had a very nice evening in the nearby Italian restaurant ( as it was raining cats & dogs - a saying in Ireland! )

Most beautiful hotel and was a highlight for me and my daughter in Utrecht. Everyone working at frontdesk was so helpfull and friendly. We were treated with easter eggs on Easter weekend!! The most beautiful room and interior. We loved the vibe outsite with places toe eat and just relax. Shops, restaurants and canals are all less than 2 minutes walk from the hotel

Lovely small hotel in the city centre of Utrecht. Ideal situation to discover on foot or by bike all Utrecht has to offer. Close by are lots of good bars cafe’s and restaurants and it is within easy walking distance of the railway station should you decide to have a trip into Amsterdam. Would definitely highly recommend this hotel.
